A Caitlyn Jenner Sighting at Y&R, While Best Friend Candis Cayne Shoots Her Cameo Appearance!

Courtesy/CBS

There was a Caitlyn Jenner sighting in Genoa City, but it was behind the scenes! According to EW.com, when Candis Cayne taped her scenes as Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding planner which airs on December 2nd, she brought along Jenner to the set of the number one soap opera.

During the episode which airs Wednesday, Cayne  lays the role of Nona Richards, the wedding planner for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan).

Over the last several months after Caitlyn became a trans women she befriended Cayne, and the two have been spotted together in many photos in tabloids and press outlets.  On Y&R, Cayne will be making a one-day appearance.

So, would you have like to have also seen Caitlyn do a spot on Y&R?  Will she drop by sometime to B&B who is telling the story of a trans woman through the character of Maya Avant (Karla Mosley)?  Are you looking forward to seeing what kind of wedding planner Candis Cayne AKA Nona Richards makes for Abby and Ben? Comment below!

Scott, not going to throw stones because I agree.
Here’s the truth–Bruce Jenner was a narcissist and Caityln Jenner is a narcissist just like the entire Kadasharian family.

I simply cannot bring myself to call Bruce, Caitlyn. I am ready for my decapitation, people. Give it your best shot.
And, I agree, Harry.

Sadly, nothing can pull this show out of Pratt & Phelps’ horrid storylines. Y&R continues to insult long-time viewers as it makes no sense and characters change daily. With today’s stunt of Victor holding Phyllis at knife point, the dumbing down of this show is stunning. I guess some people lap this trash up, but not this long-time fan. What a mess.

NoooooooooooooooooooooooO!!!!!!!!!!

I dont find it a thrill that Caitlyn visited the set, and like Scott said, who cares?
And no, have zero interest in her doing a guest spot on our soap.
Dont really care about Abby and Ben’s wedding plans, either, lol.
With Ben so fickle, their wedding, if it happens, will be a big mistake.

Like some before me, I don’t care. She is what she is, I doubt if a cameo appearance would help the show. The fans are what can make a difference by watching every day. What I would like, as shown in the above picture, is for Catilyn to take on the full female persona and sit accordingly, with her legs closed like the other women there. And no, I’m not trying to nit pick; but there are certain things that make us look like a woman. Even Cayne can sit properly. Yeah I know, nit picking again; but it was the first thing that I noticed when the pic loaded.

A big DITTO here! Just let me know the airdate and I will stay far away from CBS that day. I am so tired of the media’s continuing to give people whose 15 minutes of fame needed to end a long time ago. What I wouldn’t do for a story about Paris Hilton instead of this brood.

WOW disgusted by everyone!! 45% of transgender ppl commit suicide by the comments above by people with the disapproval. If Jenner’s story saves ONE life it is worth it which is why celebrities come out in the first place and use their celebrity to try and tell their story!! YOU PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK!!! IF if was someone you know or care about? I sure hope that you do not treat them the same way. How about friends or loved ones ? What you like them treating them the same way YOU are treating them? Chaz Bono and Caitlyn Jenner BOTH are getting treated like crap!! This is a disgrace no wonder kids are committing suicide or running away from home or turning to drugs, etc….. It is comments like the ones Scott, Harry, Jimh(leave it to beaver), Coco, jeremy, and Nanci are making … and I am sure there are more to follow…

I was talking about the Kardashians as a whole and being overexposed..not against Bruce/Caitlin being a transgender!…maybe i didnt word it right and you took it the wrong way-cant help that…i see my comments was removed but it wasnt written to offend the transgender community…im just tired of the Kardashian family!

No apology needed buddy, We knew what YOU met. Your not a mean spirited guy.

Exactly, Jim. It’s about the Kardashians, not transgenders.
And even more so for me, not wanting any more new characters
popping up on the soap, no matter who, when so many current ones dont get
enough airtime. Where did Marisa go? And Dr. Neville? And definitely want
more airtime for Mariah!

We all know you are a good guy, Jimmy. I accept transgenders. This is their planet as well, afterall. I have said this month’s ago….it is harder to see Caitlyn as Caitlyn because I knew her as Bruce. By the same token, it is no problem seein any other transgenders as she is because I knew her not. Am I making any sense? We have to be given the chance and time to adjust as well. Certainly no disrespect meant. However, Caitlyn is using the opportunity to cash in. We are entitled to our opinion. Please do not try to shut us up. We have the same rights as transgenders. It is the US of A. Kudos, K/Kay.

I think you may have taken Jimh’s comment the wrong way….

The Kardashians are everywhere, it is just sickening…. and Caitlyn is no exception. She appears more interested in “her look” than what it means to be transgender. I find that very disappointing but back to my original comment, I think people are over all being extremely over sensitive every word that is said.

Some did take it the wrong way and MF even removed my comments…all i did was reply to Scott about the Kardashions and that i found them trashy…i didnt even say Caitlin or anything against transgenders…like Trimmm said im not a mean-spirited person!

The trans community is offended by CJ they want her out of their universe because they feel she is a cross dresser and making a mockery out of them that is the truth Michael and you know it!!!!!

One thing has nothing to do with the other. Transgenders go through hell, I am sure. But as they transition, their families transitions as well. No one stops to think about the repercussions befalling children of transgenders….their siblings, their mates/spouses. How do we know those kids don’t commit suicide? Bruce Jenner has made a mockery of transgenders, in general. This is my opinion only, and I have the right to speak. Caitlyn Jenner is not doing this from the goodness of her heart. She is doing it to line her pockets. She could still help by public speaking without making herself do visible. I think of those children who struggle with their identity on a daily basis. But, what I see is Caitlyn chasing women’s latest fashion in all things Hollywood. Gimme a break. She looks like a man, no matter how many ‘adjustments’ she makes to her body/face. Just look at her hands.

Cont’d Oh and Transgender is NOT a MENTAL illness! So do not Start !!

Jimh. …..lmao….KarTRASHians!

I do not care what your personal opinions/feelings are for Caitlyn. She is a Trans woman and should always be addressed as such. Calling her him/he or Bruce is a disrespect to ALL Trans people.
Most of the world has no idea how hard it is to live as a Trans woman. It is not easy.

Please be more respectful, we are all not like Caitlyn.

Micheal…im sorry if you felt my comments was offensive but they were NOT written disrespecting transgenders…im just tired of hearing about The Kardashian family as a whole who i find overly exposed…mainly the mother and the three daughters…thats who i was talking about!

Thanks for the reply Micheal…i did not realize i had even written he/she when i commented…must have come out that way when i edited out a more lengthy post …just happy we cleared it all up!

Will Y&R be doing a transgender storyline? It’s “sister” show, B&B, has a transgender storyline. Will B&B’s Maya “cross” over to Y&R? I noticed ‘Big Brother,’ another CBS show, had a transgender contestant.

I read the article and then commented without reading the other comments (namely Mr. Fairman’s) first. My comment was and is not intended to be disrespectful to anyone.

I didnt think my previous post would make it through moderation but my point was I think were all tired of the Kardashians and Caitlin, rightfully so, gets lumped in with them. I dont think most people have a problem with Bruce Jenner’s choice if it were he and not the whole clan! As I stated, Love and accept everyone because you know what, your different to!

I knew something looked a little offbeat with the acting. I thought it was one of the housewives!

I feel sorry for the Kardashians, even when it’s not about them it’s still about them, even when people are tired of them. :/?

SORRY! They are laughing all the way to the spa!

Yeah but who laughs 24/7???

One of the questions was Would you want Caitlyn to do a guest spot?
I said I would not be thrilled. I wouldnt be thrilled with Brad Pitt doing a guest
spot, either…has nothing to do with transgender.

Best answer, Nanci.

Thanks, CeeCee.

Candis’ cameo was whatever. Anyone could have done it. It didn’t really add to the story. And her voice throws me off. She looks like a woman, but doesn’t sound like one. Although, her voice is better than Caitlin’s.

I know, right?
I thought her scene would last longer. Seemed kinda pointless,
especially rushing Ben to decisions on his own, just cause Abby
was a little late.
But I did like her, though.

Who freaking cares?? Seriously, does anyone care??? And don’t go calling me mean spirited or make this about a gender change. People have the same opinion about Victoria Rowell and all sorts of other stupid soap headlines.

Hey, Ashleigh? Did you have your baby? I was thinking about you.

Aww CeeCee, thank you for thinking of me! Still no baby. My due date is the 15th, which is why I’m so pissy! I’m ready for labor to be over but scared for it to come. It’s like PURGATORY!!

Enjoyed Candis Cayne on Dirty, Sexy Money but she was saddled with a thankless role on Y&R since nothing can make Abby and Stitch interesting, either individually or as a couple…

Would I want Caitlin to do a guest spot? No. This show has enough issues without these awful, misguided stunt-casts. Candis was an unnecessary and silly distraction. Caitlin would be a disaster. No thank you. Nothing to do with gender, just don’t care for attention-seeking narcissists who are show-horned into a story for a ratings grab.

I’ve seen Kardashians, Real Housewives, Big Brothers, and other pseudo-celebs on soaps over the years and it is never a good thing. Just Say No!
