Cara’s surprised when she sees Kendall’s engagement ring. Without revealing much Kendall downplays the engagement. Jake’s upset when Amanda tells him she stopped taking her birth control and might be pregnant. Amanda confides in Angie that she is hoping she’s pregnant despite the fact Jake’s mad at her. Amanda’s convinced having a baby will fix their problems. Jack tells Bianca he has a feeling something’s up with Erica. Based on the footage he saw of Diane and Ricky, Griffin searches for more evidence. Kendall learns that Ricky killed Diane and now she’s afraid. Griffin consoles Kendall and they share a moment. After Tad sees Griffin questioning someone about the casino, Griffin tells Tad that Ricky most likely killed Zach and fills him in on what he and Kendall have been up to. Tad’s surprised but agrees not to tell Cara. Ricky says he wants to marry Kendall immediately. Even though he made a pact with Krystal to pull back from Cara (and she agreed to pull back from Jack), Tad interrupts a close moment between Jake and Cara, claiming that Amanda needs him. Cara misinterprets Tad’s comment when he says he wants to spend the night with her. For a moment she thought he meant romantically but realizes he meant platonically. Amanda is in tears over her fight with Jake and Tad reassures her everything will be fine. Amanda’s upset that she’s not pregnant and when Jake comes home and apologizes, Amanda doesn’t say anything; she’s just happy when he says if she’s pregnant then it was meant to be. Ricky and Kendall’s wedding gets under way and through her earpiece Griffin tells Kendall not to go through with it. Kendall calls it off, claiming she wants their wedding to be unforgettable and offers to go on the yacht with him instead. Kendall tells Bianca she must bring things to an end and she informs Griffin through the earpiece that she will handle this and then cuts off communication. Before she gets a chance to leave, Griffin shows up and she tells him that she’ll get Ricky to confess while they’re on the boat. Seeing she has a gun is the last straw for him and he tosses her over his shoulder. Ricky overhears Bianca telling Miranda to stay away from him. Krystal senses something isn’t right with Erica. Scott tells Marissa that he will help Madison no matter what. JR thinks Marissa’s making a big mistake when she says she’ll be there for Scott. Scott tells JR that Marissa is a free agent now so back off. JR tells Maya she doesn’t need to be so formal around him (she’s been wearing long sleeves) but what he doesn’t notice are the bruises she’s hiding underneath her sleeves. In an effort to get away from Griffin, even though she knows he’s looking out for her best interest, Kendall injects him with a syringe. Realizing Bianca knows the truth about him, Ricky knocks out her and Marissa, ties them up, and puts them in a closet. When she awakes, Bianca has flashbacks to her rape and screams for Marissa to get away from her. As Ricky prepares to sail away, Kendall notices Bianca’s cell on the floor. Ricky admits he didn’t want to hurt Bianca and as he takes Kendall into his arms she pulls out the gun.

Jake asks Amanda why she would throw her “possible pregnancy” in Cara’s face. Jake is surprised when he learns from a nurse that Amanda isn’t pregnant. Unaware that Griffin never left PV, Cara thinks he’s dead after seeing a news report about danger in Afghanistan. She decides to go look for him but Jake stands in her way and the two shares a close moment. Tad wants to tell Cara the truth about her brother as he feels it’s wrong to still keep it from her. Tad tells Amanda that he knows her marriage is in trouble and she should go home and fix it. Griffin gets arrested and tries to tell the cop that Kendall is in danger. Tad shows up and defends Griffin; he knocks the gun from the cop’s hand so Griffin can escape. Kendall gets Ricky to admit he killed Zach and how. Ricky discovers a tape recorder under her clothes when he rips them off to make love and smashes it. Kendall threatens to use her gun. Marissa tries to console Bianca as she has horrible memories of Michael Cambias and the rape. The girls break out of the closet and Marissa gets Bianca to the hospital.  Bianca continues to have flashbacks of Michael Cambias. JR takes care of Marissa and while she knows he’s taking advantage of the situation to be with her, she’s ok with that because right now it’s what she needs. Liza agrees to help Tad put reasonable doubt on Ricky by examining the DNA under Diana’s fingernails. She tells Tad she didn’t realize how much he loved Cara until now. Jake and Cara come close to having sex with each other. Tad tells Cara the truth about Griffin and he apologizes for not being honest with her. Griffin shows up just as Ricky grabs the gun from Kendall. He threatens both of them but Kendall and Griffin are able to distract Ricky and take him down. Jesse shows up and arrests Ricky for kidnapping Bianca and Marissa. After sharing a moment with Kendall, Griffin is also arrested. Kendall says he’s hurt and Jesse says he’ll have Griffin checked out once they get down to the station. Kendall goes with them and says she’ll fight to clear his name.

Ugh–I can’t believe how stupid Kendall’s story has been and that it has dragged and I mean dragged for 6 months too long. Kane or no Kane blood in her–she has to have some screws loose like the writers on AMC. A widow and her being the only parent left–decides that maybe her children should become orphans because she is superwoman after AMC instilled into our heads that Kendall had to move on from Zach dying because her heart was weak and she couldn’t think about him has to try to solve not only Zach’s murderer but is also aiding and abbetting a fugitve from the law. Only Frons could have come up with this stupid story–and now that its over –Kendall is ready again to move on just like that–because–now there is no more worries about selling the casinos? GMAFB. They better pray to God that when Zach comes back–we are not going to be entrenched into a another triangle for Kendall –we just left the longest triangle with Ryan after 6 years and now we are heading into another one, at the end of the line. Wonderful–just wonderful.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Hope’s World is Shattered as She Learns Thomas and Douglas are Leaving for Paris

Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas) is one of the best child actors on the soaps and he proved it again on Thursday’s March 28th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.

In story, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) has informed the Forrester family that he and Douglas are leaving and heading to Paris for awhile. This is wonderful news to Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ear, who implored her brother to forget about Hope (Annika Noelle) after she turned down two proposals for him.

Meanwhile, Douglas goes to see Hope in the dressing room area of Forrester. It is then, that the young boy shares his disappointment that Hope turned down Thomas.

Hope tells Douglas she’s going to reach out to his dad, but the young boy says he already knows she turned down his proposal, again. “He’s not the only one who got his hopes up,” a broken-hearted Douglas shares. Next, he asks Hope why she made it seem like they could be a family together? Although she shares they are a family, she also says she is not ready for marriage, for a big commitment, just yet, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to be with his father.

Next, Douglas says that Hope doesn’t love his dad enough to make them a real family. He then tells Hope, “Why aren’t we good enough? You don’t love us enough?”

Assuring Douglas, Hope says she loves him… so much. Hope tells Douglas she’ll always be his mother. However, Douglas says his mother died, adding “Caroline Spencer. Dad was enough for her.” Hope recoils. Douglas says he wants to go with his dad and that if  his father is leaving, he wants to go with him.

In yet another touching moment, Douglas, expresses, “I love him so much. He’s my hero. Please don’t stop me from going. Don’t make me go through court stuff again. He needs me, and I need him.” Then, Douglas turns and walks to the door.  Just then, Hope cries out, “I love you!” Douglas runs back into her arms and the two share a tender moment where Douglas says, “I love you, Mom.”

In Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) office, Douglas enters. He tells everyone he saw Hope and told her he was going away with his dad. Brooke is (Katherine Kelly Lang) shocked, Tomas says “Douglas is coming with me.” Brooke says that Hope, as his mother, and has a say in this. Douglas tells Brooke, “I told her I needed to go with my dad.”

As he exits with Thomas, he turns and says, “Bye, Brooke.” Meanwhile, Brooke  cries. “I can only imagine what Hope is feeling about all of this.” Fade to black.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Learns Britt Died and Tells Anna He Has Been Working For Cates Since November 2021

On the Tuesday, March 26th of General Hospital, Anna (Finola Hughes) and the viewers learn about where Jason (Steve Burton) has been for over two and half years. However, Jason gets some news of his own.

Anna is visiting Jason at the PCPD interrogation room. She asks him if he shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), which he flatly denies. Anna believes him, but she tells Jason it doesn’t matter, because video footage shows him on the roof at the time of the shooting

When talk turns to Jason not willing to speak without his lawyer present, Anna can’t grasp why Jason would instead spend an hour alone talking with John Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

Photo: ABC

It is then that Anna brings up that John went by “Jagger” and that the two of them knew each other in high school. Jason doesn’t recall much of his time in high school following his brain injury, but then he gets furious realizing John knew about “Jason’s” past. That is when Jason slams the table and tells Anna, “I’ve been working for John Cates since November 2021.”

Next, Jason explains further that he has been working as an informant for the FBI. Anna wants to know how this came about and he tells her that after the tunnel collapsed, and he couldn’t make it to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud)… all of a sudden he sees Anna’s face drop.  Anna is the first person to tell him that Britt died and was murdered. She tells Jason the killer is in custody, but he continues to be shocked, overwhelmed with tears welling up in his eyes. Realizing he has to pivot to save his life, Jason continues telling Anna how he wound up working with John.

Jason explains that after the tunnel collapse in Greece, FBI agents grabbed him and placed him under arrest and took him to Quantico where he met John. At Quantico, John played a recording of RICO violations and offered Jason a deal if he agreed to be an informant against Pikeman, the illegal arms dealer.

Anna hears from Jason that he thinks Pikeman is selling illegal arms to anyone flagged by the NSA but has ties to the WSB which they needed a civilian to infiltrate their organization as a military soldier, a mercenary.

Jason tells Anna he was a part of the team brought into eliminate Sonny (Maurice Benard). Every time an attempt was made on Sonny’s life over the last two years, a different team was sent to do the job. Anna gets furious when she learns that John told Jason his job was to kill Sonny and she was with John at the warehouse that night. Jason ensured the sniper missed Sonny and left the rifle behind. However, they were supposed to meet an extraction team. Before he was shot, Dante saw it was Jason on the roof and when he turned around with his hands over his head, Dante was shot by the other guy. Jason says if Dante dies, he’ll be charged with capital murder and then will be useless to the FBI.

Meanwhile, John visits Bobbie’s and runs into Carly (Laura Wright). She learns Jason is in custody and is going to head to the PCPD. Before she does, Carly has some words with Cates when she learns not only does John have a vendetta against Sonny, but Jason too.  Carly tells John he should recuse himself from the case.

So, what did you think about the moment when Jason learned Britt died? What do you think of Jason’s return storyline thus far and what we learned about Jagger/Jason and more? Comment below. But first, check out a moment from today’s GH with Jason and Anna.

American Idol

AMERICAN IDOL: Should Former ‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Gervais’ Daughter Camila, Been Voted Through to Hollywood Week?

On the final round of audition to make it into Hollywood Week, Sunday night’s March 24th episode of American Idol brought with it some top-notch musical performances by contestants around the country.

An interesting moment occurred when the former ‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Gervais revealed himself. Gervais’ daughter, Camila, who we watched grow-up before our eyes, before and after Juan Pablo’s season on the reality dating series is now 14-years-old and entering the competition.

When Camila explained who her dad was to the judges: Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Perry, he was brought into the audition room.

Photo: ABC

Katy asked Juan Pablo, “You know what it’s like to be on television, and you’re trying to throw her in this lion’s den?” Juan Pablo admitted he has been actually trying to temper Camila’s musical aspirations until he felt she was ready to audition and be a part of ‘Idol’.

When it was time to perform, Camila choose to performance Joaquina’s “Rabia.” Her audition drew mixed reactions from the judges. It was a “no” from Lionel Richie. It was a “yes” from Katy Perry although she expressed her concern about Camila’s vocal limitations as measured against the other singers who made it through.

Photo: ABC

The deciding vote was from Luke Bryan who gave Camila another “yes”. However, Luke was originally a “no.”  He said with the right producer she could make it. Katy mentioned that Spanish music is the industry’s fastest growing genre, and Camila is “authentically that.”

Many on social media and viewer reaction felt if her father, former ABC star Juan Pablo, was not standing in the room awaiting the judges decision, they would have given her a hard pass, since they continually brought up she needed more time to develop her potential and to come back and audition in a few years.

This was yet another controversial pick by the judges.  You can watch Camila’s performance below.  Then let us know, do you feel Camila should have been voted through to Hollywood Week? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
