B&B's Scott Clifton Sings New Tune During Liam/Steffy Montage On Thursday's Episode!

We all knew that Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) could sing, especially after the release of his album Girl Go Home.  But now the ever-sharp producers of CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful have decided to let their young romantic lead perform a brand new song written specifically for an important and moving Liam/Steffy Montage set against the backdrop of Monte Carlo.

Look for the song to debut entitled “The Song That Never Played” on the Thursday July 28th episode of the CBS daytime drama.  B&B’s supervising producer and songwriter,  Casey Kasprzyk previewed the song and the choice of Clifton to perform it to Soap Opera Digest.

Casey related, “The creation of ‘The Song That Never Played’ happened very organically. As we were shooting Liam’s reflective montage, I was completely drawn into Scott Clifton’s performance. It was the first scene of the day, and Monte Carlo was desolate. It created an amazing visual. So I scribbled down some lyrics and wrote out a draft on the plane ride home. After Tony Ferrari (co-writer) worked out a melody, we discussed with Brad Bell (executive producer/head writer) who should sing the song. It’s funny, because the answer was literally staring us in the face. Scott’s vocal performance totally delivers. It’s a really special montage that completely captures the Liam/Steffy saga like never before.”

You can preview the montage and the song featuring Scott’s performance here! After you watch and listen, let us know what you thought of it in the comment section below!

Wow, Casey and Scott–that was great !!!

Blech..I’m sorry to say he has always annoyed me from gh to oltl..he should be singing the never ending story. .one triangle to the next. .on and on they go..

Although I really am kind of over done with the whole issue of Steffie and Liam, I really enjoyed the song. Scott Clifton has a wonderful voice and I think it enhances the storyline to have him sing it. On a couple of side notes, I would like to add that I enjoyed the scenes with Quinn’s plane ride., and although I enjoyed Ridge and Caroline as a couple, I think their break up scene was beautifully written and performed. The montage scenes of tbeir relationship was perfect. Once they took their rings off, and Caroline wrapped her arms around Ridge, that did me in and I got all misty. Wonderful, wonderful scene.

That was perfect!

Maybe he could sing it to Caroline and she’d grow a brain & go home to Ridge!

Hey Nikki…GOOD ONE…LOL!!!!!

Later.

Love love love

Beautiful !! Scott sang with such emotion. Great choice, perfect for today’s episode.

A beautiful song, that will be on forever. Scott sing it perfectly. Love him, his voice and his performance.

Loved it! I was looking for it on Itunes to download. Will it be available at some time?

I liked the song and I thought that Scott sang it well. I have to say, I am so over this triangle and The “Whiner” (Wyatt)-so desperate and pathetic. All he does is whine. The constant photos that he takes and the mention of all of Steffy’s followers-a bit overkill-IMO.

I completely agree. This Steffie qnd her “followers” is really getting pathetic. And you rigt a about Wyatt. I’ve worked with 4 year olds that didn’t whine half as much as he does. It really gets sickening after a while. Well maybe whe. Steffie catches grandpa and Quinn going at it, we won’t have to listen to Wyatt the whiner anymore. I guess we’ll have to wait and see

What a beautiful voice and song ….I usually don’t pay attention to the background music but this caught my attention right away . Loved it !

Love this song. When can we access it on Spotify?

Don’t see it for sale in I tunes.

I loved the song…it was perfect for the scene.

Really love Liam songs need to be with shown on tv with him singing them

This is the first time I have ever heard a song on a soap opera and looked it up to see who sung it. It was beautiful, heartfelt, and original. Where can I buy it?

It’s been some time since I heard a song that really blew me away. Beautiful melody, wonderful lyrics and Scott Clifton’s performance was awesome. Tell him he needs to put this song and other great songs on a cd. I would rush out and buy it. In the meantime, I’d settle for iTunes.

Eric says that he “needs to do what’s best for Steffy and the family”. OH, GIMME A BREAK ALREADY!!!!! At this point, Liam, Wyatt and (especially) Steffy are nothing but 3 whiny, immature and annoying CHEESE-HEADS…and, at this point, that so-called Liam/Steffy/Wyatt triangle is BEYOND RIDICULOUS!!!!! Oh…and I think that Eric and Quinn make each other very, very happy. Bottom Line Here: Steffy needs to BUTT OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Just saying……….
