General Hospital Recasts Taylor Dubois With Actress Pepi Sonuga!

There is a new Taylor Dubois at General Hospital! Apparently, Samantha Logan is out in the role as Felix’s (Marc Anthony Samuel) sister!
Actress Pepi Sonuga has taken over the role. The Nigerian-born actress will make her debut later this month.
And according to Soap Opera Digest, “Logan is currently shooting Disney’s big-screen adaptation of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, which co-stars Steve Carrell and Jennifer Garner!”
The character of Taylor arrived on the scene in Port Charles back in June. The character quickly became friends with Britt, and had sex with TJ, who still was drawn to Molly.

Pepi is gorgeous, and looks like she’s been much more enjoyable in the role of Taylor. However, this character is completely pointless. She should hook up with TJ, and take him and the worthlessness of Shawn off of the canvas immediately. All three can be a happy family off-screen!

A forgettable character the show doesnt need…why cant the show more Monica…why was A.J.s court scenes written so stupid: he was disrespectable to the judge by ignoring her to stare at Liz, Micheal talking during court,plus most courthouses dont allow cellphones…RH(Franco) hair color change now he looks so much better and Toddish!!!

Logan was terrific as Taylor, and I really enjoyed her interactions with Britt and TJ. Yet they didn’t develop the character or give her much airtime, so not surprised at all that she left. It was a waste of talent IMO. Not sure about the recast, as she does not have acting experience.

I think she is needed to explain the secret that Felix has and why she is able to hold it over his head. I would love if this mean they are building a family of color on the show considering they have not have one in many years.

I thought she was great. Seriously. I know I’m in the minority opinion here, but I thought she would be a good match for Morgan. Moreso of a match than with TJ. And I honestly thought she was a sincere friend to Brittany. I hope her character remains friends with Britt and she continues to put Felix in his place.

I thought she (Logan) was great too. And I’m a big fan of the vets, but agree they need to keep bringing new blood in. That said however, they DO have too many new characters at this point.
I would have been happy if Logan just did the Disney thing then came back to GH after the cast had been culled a bit.

Whatever happened to bringing in Christina (Lucy and Kevin’s daughter)? Also loved the progress they were making with fleshing out Milo… what happened to that? Seems as though too much has been dropped lately. I agree – too much emphasis on the old vets will put a choke hold on the show .. but wish it wasn’t either/or… either we get continuations of stories from 20 years ago or new stories completely siloed in their own universe away from everything else. Combining vets and newbies is the only way to keep the show healthy AND keep the show moving forward.
I think they are going to return back to Milo when Lucy’s spa takes off. And notice how I say Lucy and not Laura. I don’t foresee any more development for her character.
But pleeeeeeeease let me be wrong.
IF there was ever a more pointless, useless, grating, annoying character in the history of daytime, I would be hard pressed to name one. This character serves NO purpose…adds nothing of value to the show, and exists solely to waste screen time that could be better spent on some of the hardly seen vets.

I haven’t missed Taylor ,Rafe, Molly or TJ on GH. I don’t think she needed recast I think they need a new story and new young characters. There are others that could go to like Brad, Felix , Kiki, Ava, Olivia, ,Sabrina and a couple others. The cast is to big and the storylines are bad.
Megadittos to that thought!!!! There is waaaay toooo much deadweight attached to GH right now, and those characters that you mentioned would be a very good place to begin winnowing down the cast. I have nothing against “newbies” if they bring something unique and of import to a plotline, but it seems as if all these random people are just taking up space (Ava, excepted, although I have never taken a shine to her!)… Taylor was such an obnoxious and unnecessary addition, she should have just been sent back to the” rents,” end of story…no one would have much noticed/cared about her absence!!!!
Why the recast? The other actress was adorable and great in the role.
By the way, where’s Duke? They have so dropped the balll with all the old/new couples. Duke and Anna, Luke and Laura, Mac and Felicia…Lucy and Kevin…we barely see any of them. it’s like a tease…they bring you back to the origins of GH and then whisk them away…

I’m not happy to see her go, but I’m glad she moved on to something better. The writers spend their time writing stupid storylines for michael, morgan and kiki (ugh!) I don’t see any chemistry anywhere in that trio. The only enjoyable moments for me are scenes with Felix, Brad, Taylor, Britt, Diane and AJ.
Okay…seriously…what was up with Nikolas? He walks into a room where a pregnant woman is lying on the floor…breathing in agony…with a nurse hovering over her prepared to deliver a baby…and he is all befuddled and confused and says “What’s going on?”. Sabrina’s hilarious retort “We are baking a cake” just made him look even stupider…and even then he didn’t seem to clue in. Were the showrunners trying to make this the stupidest moment EVER in soaps? Because it really is!
It was a dumb scene…i expected Nik to ask’What kind of cake?’ It wouldve been funny had Brad walked in and said something naughty!

I really enjoyed Loga’s Taylor; but honestly, I felt that she wanted prime time. She has good actimg skills and very confident, not mention pretty. I wish the best for her.
Not a fan of the recast. She has no connection, no spark with TJ, and seems very flat. Logan had it all and I couldn’t wait to see what she was gonna do next. She knows how to be a diva and manipulate, it was in her eyes. She should not be recast, she would be worth waiting for when she is done with Disney.

U have to give the new Taylor a chance yesterday was only the first time she was on there. I have said that a lot of times to. Bu t most of the time when I gave the recast person a chance I usually start to like the new person. But I’ll say not always.

Same way I felt about the new Lulu. Give her a chance. New actress – new beginning for Felix and his sister to come together. Family need one another. If they don’t do something with these two, then kick her off and move on with Felix.
People need to stop being cruel and give that young lady a chance, if she was some prima donna most of the comments would be a little different, she has potential, it’s a wait and see like most new talent.

I think it’s great that Felix has a sister. Though at this point she is spoiled and obnoxious, maybe she can be redeemed. Dive into these characters history and really give them a great story. She is holding something over Felix’s head and they need to discuss it and deal with it. Let her be a support to her brother. There doesn’t always have to be negative drama. Let there be some real love shown between the siblings.
Not a fan of the character so far but if she sticks around they’ll tone her down. Does anybody remember the hot mess that Elizabeth Webber was when she hit town lol? Nobody’s been in the role long enough to make the switch matter to me, so no problem for me there.
I think the new Taylor looks about 25 or 26 years old not at all like the “teen” her character is supposed to be…bad move GH.

I’ve watched Gh for over 20 years. I’m not black and I still thank it’s shameful that GH lacks substatianal black cast members. After the days of Simone Hardy and Justus Ward we haven’t really seen any. I enjoyed Ms. Logan, it’s ashame GH couldn’t give her a better storyline. The recast of Taylor is too old and not appealing to the masses. I think GH recast Taylot, again with a younger person and then have her a Rafe start a relationship.. I do hope GH keeps, Shawn, TJ, and Felix around. They are doing a great job. I do agree GH should be giving veteran cast more and better storylines. I’m Luke (Anthony Geary) coming and going. He should just go. So should Laura and the daughter Lulu. I fast forward whenever they are on-screen. I would like to see more Monica, and give her a ove interest. Bring back Bobbie (Jackie Zeman). I love AJ, but he needs a love interest his age, not Elizabeth. I also love Rebecca Herbst. I think Liz and Nik should be paired ans Brit and AJ should be paired. Brit is young but loos old enough and mature enough to pair well with AJ. Stop bringing Heather Weber on-screen. The storyline is horrible. I really like Maxie and I hope the Dante and Lulu raise her baby storyline ends soon. Maybe, Maxie and Dante can fall for each other or Maie and Micheal. Just get rid of Lulu. Since Spinelli is not a contract character anymore then get rid of Ellie Trout. I like Sabrina but she is too young for Patrick. I was hoping she was going to be like a Lucy Coe of the 80’s. Please give her some spicy storylines. I just wish GH would go back to the great storylines and amazing casting of the mid to late 1990’s. The teen stories were great with Nik, lucky, Liz, Emily etc. Bobbie and Monica had great stories and Carly came on the scene. Lois, Brenda, AJ, Jason and all the people in and out of Monica,s mansion were awesome. I wish Carly would go back to her roots. Can we bring back some Hardy’s? Or some Wards? I’m glad Lucy is ack but give her some story that shows her acting chops. I’m disappointed with brining the Jermone family in when you have other families that could be developed like the Cassadines and Quartermans. GH, please step it up or you are going to lose another watcher to CBS soaps.This is my first time posting. Thanks for letting me rant.
Not a good move on GH’s part.They could have looked alot harder for someone better to play her part.She is terrible and boring. They need someone that has a spark like Logan had she played the part perfect. Hopefully they will recast this new actor soon.
Really not liking the new Taylor at all. She seems to be trying way too hard to be like Logan. The new Taylor is flat and dull and doesn’t have the look. GH has made a few bad choices this year and I am disappointed. The new replacement for Taylor is one of them. Killing off Connie is another (especially since it wasn’t the actress’s choice). The new Morgan is another mistake. What a needy, insecure, pathetic character. Give the kid some chapstick already and tell him to stop whining. He’s a Corinthos for crying out loud. I just hope that they keep Nicholas and Elizabeth away from each other. That story line is so old and worn out, not to mention the fact that we love her with Lucky and it’s not cool to keep the tensions going between these awesome brothers. Also, there’s no chemistry between T.J. and Molly. Although there’s no chemistry between T.J. and Taylor either. Find new mates for these characters and put Molly and Rafe together already. At least their chemistry is smoldering.
I also forgot to mention that the LuLu recast is terrible too! She’s not believable. I fast forward when she is on. I love Sabrina and Patrick and I love Patrick and Robin, so I am torn as to who I want him to end up with when Robin comes back. Sabrina’s ex-boyfriend Carlos is hot but looks too old to be her former counter part.
The new Taylor looks much too old to be playing this role and why is she back. Let TJ and Molly be happy. You have too many couples not happy. Leave the kids alone

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties
On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.
The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.
When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.
When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.
Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.

Cameron Mathison Previews New Game Show ‘Beat The Bridge’ (Promo)
As previously reported, Cameron Mathison (Drew, General Hospital) will be seen doing double duty this summer when he premieres in June as the host of Game Show Network’s Beat The Bridge.
Now, while Cameron will be the host with the most, that doesn’t mean he will stop playing GH’s Drew. In fact, Mathison taped the game show in 2023, so it will now air for the first time in 2024.
Taking to his Instagram this week, Cameron shared his enthusiasm and some new hosting snaps, sharing, “Our newest game show host reporting for duty😎 Head over to the Game Show Network YouTube channel for your first look at the show and don’t miss Beat The Bridge premiering this June! I can’t wait for you guys to see this!”

In Beat The Bridge, an enormous interactive bridge dares players to cross by stepping on the right answers to challenging trivia questions. As they play, each steps forward and puts money in their team’s bank, with bonus money for each successful crossing. Here’s the catch: the team gets to keep the money only if it can “beat the bridge” by returning one of its players back across before time expires.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nina Confronts Ava for Sabotaging Her Relationship With Sonny and Signs the Divorce Papers
Looks like Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Ava (Maura West) are back to be each other’s sworn enemy number one. By the end of the Monday, April 22nd episode of General Hospital, the women know where they stand with each other after Nina goes in on Ava accusing her of wanting Sonny (Maurice Benard) all to herself, while her marriage has been on the rocks.
In story, at Nina’s office, Ava shows up to see Nina and says she is sorry about what happened with Sonny and that he reacted the way he did, acknowledging that is was over the top, even for Sonny. Ava says she’ll smooth things over, but Nina says she now understands how manipulative and transparent Ava really is.
Given their horrible history, Nina goes in on Ava and how she should never have trusted her. Nina wants to know how long has Ava had this agenda dating all the way back to telling Nina to turn Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. Ava says she never told her do to that, but Nina wants to know how long Ava has been playing her for a fool.

Ava says she moved in with Sonny to keep Avery safe and she wants to be on good terms with Avery’s father, Sonny. Nina thinks she likes being in Sonny’s inner circle. Ava tells Nina if she goes to him about her advising Nina to call the SEC on Carly and Drew, it won’t work. Sonny still considers Nina a traitor and he will think she’s lying because she’s so desperate to win him back. Ava says if Nina would stop blaming everyone else that maybe Sonny would respect her. Nina says “like he does you?” Ava says Sonny not only respects her, but he also counts on her.
From there, Ava launches into why she and Sonny understand each other, after all, Sonny is a powerful, turbulent, and sometimes violent man. She goes so far to say if Nina wanted someone to just sit by the fire with and play with their grandchildren, she’s got the wrong guy. Ava then talks about Mike from Nixon Falls (Sonny with amnesia) and how Sonny hid the darkest parts of himself from Nina back then, whereas with Ava they are the same similar creatures, so he doesn’t have to hide anything.

Nina wants to know just what Ava wants with Sonny? What is her end game? Ava responds that they understand each other, in ways she can’t with Sonny. Nina tells Ava she can go ahead and have it all and signs Sonny’s divorce papers. Ava walks out with the documents, while Nina in tears at her desk, takes off her wedding rings and has her assistant come in so she can messenger the rings back to Sonny’s address.
