General Hospital's Teresa Castillo Welcomes Her Baby Boy Into The World!

Teresa Castillo (Sabrina) is a mom for the second time! The General Hospital actress who is on maternity leave from the series, posted an image with her new little bundle of joy, a baby boy in her arms via her Instagram account late Monday.
To go with the image, Castillo simply wrote one word, “Bliss”. No word yet on the baby’s name.
In story, Sabrina took off with her baby daddy Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), after things disintegrated in her relationship with Michael (Chad Duell).
Look for Sabrina to return to the canvas once Castillo’s maternity leave is completed. This is the second time the actress had taken time off to have a baby. Teresa and husband Shane Aaron already have a beautiful daughter, Victoria, who will be turning two this May.

51st Daytime Emmys: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Nominations
On Thursday, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards revealed nominations in several key categories via four entertainment news programs: Access Hollywood, E! News, Extra and Access Hollywood.
Three of the four announcements were major categories in the field of Daytime Dramas.
The nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category are: The Bay, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Neighbours and The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital won this category last year, and has the most all-time wins for a series in this category. For the first time, the beloved Australian-based soap opera, Neighbours is now eligible for competition due to its reboot which streams on Amazon Freevee.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out in ceremonies in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th.
Previous categories announced tonight via the entertainment news outlet included: Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

51st Daytime Emmys: Tamara Braun, Finola Hughes, Katherine Kelly Lang, Annika Noelle, Michelle Stafford, Cynthia Watros Score Lead Actress Nominations
The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’
We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.
Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.
Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story. The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.

In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.
The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed. Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.

In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”
No word yet on when The Workout will be released.

Congrats, I hope Sabrina ends with Michael and more story time. She’s a great actress and I want her to have a powerful story line.
I will be happy to see her return and hope she finds Michael or somebody other than that skank Carlos for a baby daddy!
I am so happy for Teresa and glad she is back at GH. As far as Sabrina goes, does anyone else besides me think it might be time for her cousin Juan to pop back in for a visit to give Sabrina some advice or a shoulder to cry on? How about if Felix steps up to the plate to help Sabrina raise her baby? He needs something to do too.

Lol, Timmm. I actually like Jeffrey, the actor. And, if Carlos were to return, he should call Sabrina, Sabrina, not Savrrrriiina, and she should call him, Carlos. No, seriously…just kidding.
Jeffrey is one of the best. I wish he could be cast as an ok guy; cut his hair etc. I love grey temples on a man…..very distinguished. If TPTB could only redeem him, I’d be fine with him coming back. I’ve always liked Sabrina, except for the last few months where she tried to deceive Michael. But, I did admire the fact that she fessed up and confessed to him.
Unfortunately, the only reason, in my opinion, Carlos is back, is to give a plausible reason for Sabrina to have disappeared; thus, maternity leave. I wish good health yo both mother and child. Bye, my friend.

I Like Carlos ! I think the love they share is real… but, if Sabrina misses Michael… and they can somehow get back together… I suppose that works as well…. as long as Michael stays away from KIKI.

If I remember correctly Anna wants Carlos to testify against Julian not Paul since he was the one that ordered the hit on Duke. I don’t think Anna has figured out yet that Paul is the head of a new crime “family” in town– she is going after the Jeromes and thinks Paul is on their payroll– and that Paul killed Sloan, but she doesn’t know the bigger picture yet about Paul H– right now she is just trying to get Julian for killing Duke.
Yes, of course, Mary! That’s it exactly. I had forgotten. Anna thinks that Julian, Carlos and Paul are working in concert, yes? But Julian has no clue about Paul. And, although Ava is doing the hanky-panky with Paul, (yucky…disgusto) I do not think she is privy to his double dealings, or the extend of his agenda, power and mob-affiliation. I wonder if Anna thinks Julian is aware of Carlos’s whereabouts. Obviously, she isn’t supposed to know he’s alive. So, she can’t even question him or anyone, for that matter. At this point, as far as we know, Paul is working independently, with Carlos as his henchman; but only peripherally.
Want to see Anna and Scopio bring Paul and gunrunners down, down, down. In the meantime hope they also find who shot Sonny as a bonus.
And as bad as they can be, I hope there can be a way to keep Carlos and Ava. Really like the actors. And who knows when Ava finally gets the connect between Paul/guns and protecting Avery…maybe she could bump into Carlos on The Pier (where all bad guys can bump into each other) and re-new their previous “friendship” to help get Paul out of the way. There’s an advantage to both of them. I know, not very plausible, but it is, after all, a soap.

congrats to Teresa and her family! As for the character of Sabrina; I like her! Not every female soap character has to be raving, conniving witch to be interesting. However, as we’ve gotten to know Sabrina, its hard to swallow that she would’ve run off with thug Carlos during the late stages of pregnancy.
