GH’s Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson Premiere New Podcast!

Stone Cold and the Jackal now have their own podcast and you can listen to it right on iTunes!

In the log lines for the debut episode it reads: “Here we go! GH’s Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson tell you a little about why they’re doing this podcast, what to expect, and we also learn a little more about Steve and his history…like how much sun-in he used in the late 80’s. Hard hitting stuff. Topics include-how much Steve loves wearing dance belts, anything “Out Of This World”, mullets, is Bradford naturally this pale, and was Steve, or his hair, tall enough to land his role at GH.”

Expect special GH guests and surprises as these Port Charles faves cover the entertainment industry and backstage GH tidbits as well.

What do you think of the Stone Cold and the Jackal podcast concept, which is an off-shoot of Burton and Anderson’s live shows? Comment below!

Poor Steve, he’s like french fries without ketchup or like watching a statute grow hair..
He is Robot Man ! (not that it’s bad to be robotic)

I like Bradford, he is unique!

I really wouldn’t care why Steve loves wearing dance belts..

Actually.. I know very little of the soap actors because I really don’t care of their personal lives, I just know of their charaters,

Many like to know what the actors eat for breakfast and the size shoes they wear or if they have kids, what type car they drive LOL – I really could care less.
But- for the fans that like that kind of stuff, roll on ! 🙂

Podcast’s – are very popular. It will do well, I assume.
It’s an iTunes podcast? the link was broken.

I’ve listened to a few podcasts and enjoyed them. I don’t understand why is it called a podcast and can anyone do one or do you need to go to a studio or something? And you hear people calling-in- must take some equipment to hook it all together. On the cutting edge of modern technology here, as you can see. Purchased many a bottle of sun-in back in the day-only it never ever failed to be orange-in.

How would one go about listening to such a thing? Sorry, I’m techno-challenged.

Can’t speak to the podcast. But this current story of kindergarten espionage with a manic Spinelli, a stiffer than usual Jason, and a laughable Sam (“Jane” Bond she ain’t) is beyond silly. And it doesn’t make me want to spend any more time with them via podcast, even though you can’t blame the actors for a bad story. Other than the Drew/Kim & Oscar story and parts of the new Ava self-destruct agenda, lately I’m just waiting for Detective Chase to pop in. Fiinally a great new face! And I want to see Franco & Drew mend fences further and thus put the final nail into the Sam/Jason/Drew triangle.

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’

We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.

Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.

Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story.  The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.

In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.

The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed.  Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.

In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”

No word yet on when The Workout will be released.

So, looking forward to seeing this collaborative effort featuring GH’s Josh Kelly? Comment below.
