Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Makes A Return To The Bold and the Beautiful!

The very popular Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who is now the host of E! Entertainment Television series, Party On, where she takes viewers to the hottest parties in the world in the most exotic locales, is making a return visit to The Bold and the Beautiful!
According to Soap Opera Digest, look for Jacqui to first appear on the December 12th episode.
Since the actress is on recurring status with the show, it is our understanding she will come back from time to time to play Steffy Forrester on the CBS soap!

I hope that Steffy does not factor into the Liam/Hope/Wyatt dynamic. This new triangle is infinitely more entertaining than the Hope/Liam/Steffy storyline was. It’s fresh and new and bringing Steffy into it would just be a step backward.
Liam and Steffy is a played out pairing and if Liam gravitates back in Steffy’s direction after the things he’s been saying about and to Hope, it would be disastrous to an already damaged character.
Maybe if Steffy’s appearance is used to show Liam’s devotion to Hope despite Steffy’s presence, it could be a good thing. Anything other than that would be revisiting something that fans are already weary of.
Actually I feel the opposite. I feel that Liam and Hope are a couple who do not have unconditional love. like Steffy has for Liam, and that Hope and Liam are not compatible and have no chemistry, no passion and are boring and were dead in the water a long time ago. Liam and Steffy have magical chemistry that light up the tv screen and bring me joy. STEAM were joyously happy before writers killed off their baby, NOT PLAYED OUT AT ALL.

What you and others that responded to me are doing is shipping a couple. My comments are not meant to promote one soap couple over another, but to address the damage done to the character of Liam. Where you see chemistry, others see a tired paring that was contrived in a heavy handed way from the fall in the tub, to the gondola, to the MRI and fake stabbing…every single step along the way was just too over the top. The new triangle is much more believable and fun to watch.
These are the reasons I hope the writers choose to distance Liam from Steffy. He was a likeable, rootable character at one time, and I sincerely hope the writers bring that Liam back.

I agree… I’m team Steffy all the way! I’m so sick of immature Hope Logan. She’s supposed to have all these morals but she’s doing the same crap her mother did. Actually kind of would like to see Hope blow it with Wyatt and Steffy and see Wyatt and Steffy hook up! Better match, both KNOW what they want and they go sheet it! Should be interesting!

I think it would be the best interet of the show to have steffy back for liam & we are all wanting to know if hope really is pregnant or not . Maybe her & liam did have sex & she will find out she is further on then she thought.

I completely disagree with KnightHawk. I am tired of the Liam and Hope story and I don’t find it to be genuine nor interesting. Steffy and Liam’s relationship had hit levels that were deeper and involved more of a commitment from both of them that this new round of Liam/Hope seemed forced and fake and made Liam come across as a liar. This latest round of Liam and Hope did some real damage to the character of Liam. It made viewers wonder what was real about Liam and did he have a heart.
On the other hand, Hope and Wyatt do have the same natural chemistry that Liam and Steffy have. So, I’m excited to see where the writers go with Hope and Wyatt.
I don’t know if I’m excited to see Liam and Steffy again because I now look at Liam as a cold hearted liar who let Hope proclaim the death of his baby as an obstacle that was removed for their reunion.
Steffy and Liam were far from played out. I’m mad at Liam but STEAM is such a good couple.
I am beyond excited for Steffy to come back and I kinda hope the all mighty Wyatt to fall on his face for her as well, how funny would that be. I mean what man wouldn’t???
So you didn’t think Liam looked like a liar when he married Steffy on Mount Ajax when he was there to meet Hope? You didn’t think he looked like a liar when he married Steffy despite telling Hope the day before the wedding that he would never feel for any woman what he felt for her and would spend the rest of his life wonder what could have been?
These are the problems visited upon the character. Problems that need to be resolved. Scott Clifton is too talented and too likeable to be bogged down by ambiguous, inconsistent, confusing dialogue.
The bottom line concerning the character of Hope is ever since she came down the stairs aged at least 10 years it has been the goal to get this silly little girl married she is to immature to be married to anyone. Look at her mother still giggling at 52 like a sixteen year old.

Interesting that her first airdate is the the same day as nuRidge(thorsten kaye)!!!! With Ridge, Steffy, RJ and Ally back in the fold, the Forresters are back!!!!! I can’t wait for her to meet Wyatt, and see her with Hope and Liam and meet cousin Ally!!!!!

Every word you have spoken is what I believe to be true. Steffy is The Bold and the Beautiful, and I cannot wait to see her back. Without her, what was my favorite daytime show is one now that has fallen into mediocrity. I want her back full time and with Liam. STEAM brings the magic, and we need that back. Absolutely miss JMW/Steffy on B&b as the show is not anywhere as interesting or magical without her beautiful face, and her marvelous acting. The show died for me when writers killed her and Liams baby and then destroyed Steffy and took everything from her. Before that I ran to my television everyday to see Liam and Steffy wedding, honeymoon and romance. I adore the couple known as STEAM and they gave me JOY right through my TV screen. The chemistry and magical passion that the 2 characters, Liam and Steffy share, lights up my tv screen, and is unmatched by anyone else on the show. Hope and Liam could never hope to have such an unconditional love for each other.
The show is just not the same without JMW. Steffy is a major character and a huge part of the show. I hope JMW considers coming back and does not just pop in and out of the show from time to time. I can’t imagine anybody else being able to portray the character of Steffy as well as JMW, but Steffy needs to return to B&B to give the show the spice it has been missing.

No, do not miss her at all. I am actually having more fun watching B&B everyday instead of missing days on end before because I got tired to this character. The current S/L’s are great and B&B is trending almost everyday – so no, I think I along with a lot of B&B fans do not miss this character at all. I miss Ridge more and can’t wait to see him back.

It’s not just about Party On why she chose to stay recurring. She is getting the attention of other directors and other programs and wants to be able to expand and grow her career. Signing another contract constricts her free time to do these things cause she’s obligated to shoot for Bell when he writes her to. And soap opera schedules are more hectic than movie or weekly series filming. And Bell would clearly rather have her from time to time when her schedule allows than lose her completely. So as her fans we should just support her decisions cause she’s doing what makes her happy. Which is most important.
As for what Steffy should be up to, I hope they’re taking her in a new direction. Her life hasn’t been all that happy in the last year, and any happiness she did have was shadowed or short lived. I think her time with Liam has finally run its course, he’s just way too shady. And I don’t want her with Wyatt either. Sharing men with Hope Logan is never good for Steffy’s happiness so I hope she’s moving on for them. It’s time for Brad to use Jacqueline to her full acting potential and give her something new to work with as much as he can

I miss the character of Steffy Forrester so much I do not think the show has been the same since she has left. I would love to see Steffy come back to shake things up not only for Liam and Hope but also for Bill and Brooke. Bill’s first interest was Steffy and now that he is soon to be divorced and Brooke might actually have second thoughts before everything is finalized for her and Bill, it could prove to be an interesting story line for all characters concerned.

Steve Kent Reportedly OUT as Sony Pictures Television VP in Charge of DAYS and Y&R
On Friday, reports surfaced that Steve Kent, Senior Executive Vice President of Programming at Sony Pictures Television, is no longer with the company and overseeing the Sony soap operas, Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless.
According to Soap Opera Digest, a set side source reported that Kent’s last day was last Friday, April 12th, which was one day after what would have been his final appearance in his Sony VP role at the Days of our Lives 15,000th episode on set celebration.
During that ceremony, Kent gave a brief speech giving kudos to DAYS for its incredible milestone. Days is a co-production of Sony Pictures Television and Corday Productions, while Y&R is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Kent started his soap opera career as a producer for CBS’ defunct Capitol and then as the supervising producer of NBC’s Santa Barbara from1984 to 1993.

At Sony, before his role overseeing the soaps, Kent was Senior Executive Vice President of International Productions for Sony Pictures Television International department.

After exciting morning for your favorite daytime stars when they were revealed to be nominees for the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards comes tonight 10th annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Special.
Beginning at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT, several of the nominees will talk with Michael Fairman on their reactions to the news they have been nominated for a Daytime Emmy, share what scenes they submitted that landed in the top five or six in their respective performer acting categories and much more.

51st Annual Daytime Emmy Award Nominations: CBS Soaps Score Most, Eric Braeden, Dick Van Dyke, Guy Pearce Receive Nods
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) have officially announced on Friday, the full list of nominees for the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
While Thursday brought with it four reveals of the nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama, Talk Show Host, Lead Actor and Actress categories (as presented by various entertainment news programs), today’s nominations include all the other categories not previously announced.
The Daytime Emmy Awards telecast is set to be presented live on Friday night, June 7, at 8 PM EDT /delayed PT, on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. This will mark the 18th time that CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmys.

In addition, The Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmy Awards will be presented on Saturday, June 8 at t9 PM ET/6 PM PT and streamed on The Emmys apps and at watch.TheEmmys.tv. The ceremonies will take place at the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles.
Television icon, Dick Van Dyke has received his first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Guest Performer category for his touching portrayal of Timothy Robicheaux on Peacock’s Days of our Lives. The nomination makes Van Dyke the oldest Daytime Emmy nominee in history at 98-years-old. In addition, motion picture and TV star, Guy Pearce, is also nominated as Guest Performer for his longtime role as Mike Young in the reboot of Neighbours.
Speaking of Neighbours, the Australian soap opera also received its first ever Daytime Emmy nomination for Daytime Drama Series now that its a revival can be streamed on Amazon Freevee. In addition, The Young and the Restless iconic, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) received his first Daytime Emmy nomination in more than 20 years in the Lead Actor in a Drama Series category.

In the Daytime Drama series categories, CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless each scored 12 nominations more than any other show. Leading the acting nominations was B&B, who landed 7 performers in the various categories, a first in its 37-year history.
In a statement, Adam Sharp, President & CEO, NATAS expressed, “We are happy to once again honor the creative talent both in front of and behind the camera of America’s favorite Daytime programs. We look forward to celebrating the icons who enliven the days of audiences across the country.”

Brent Stanton, Head of Daytime, NATAS added, “Producing the Daytime Emmys is a labor of love for all of us at NATAS. The huge popularity of these shows continues to be must-see viewing for their fans.” NATAS also revealed that Lifetime Achievement Honorees, Hosts, Presenters, and Silver and Gold Circle honorees will be revealed at a later date.
The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in television programming honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary, and legal/courtroom programs. In 2021, NATAS and the Television Academy jointly announced plans to realign the Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards to be organized by content genre, as opposed to program airtime.
The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be produced once again by NATAS and Associated Television International (ATI). Adam Sharp and Lisa Armstrong are executive producers from NATAS, while David McKenzie executive produces from ATI.
