Katie Couric Tells ABC She Wants General Hospital to STAY and The Revolution to GO!

Clearly Katie Couric and her team are trying to be smart business people, and also to not incite the already delicate daytime audience who has had to deal with the blow of All My Children and One Life to Live being canceled.
TV Guide this morning has an interesting item, that says Couric wants General Hospital given The Revolution’s timeslot due to the lifestyle/makeover shows poor ratings showing that would be a terrible lead-in for her new show, and would prefer GH!
The item reported, “Sources close to Couric and her exec producer Jeff Zucker expressed concern about the disappointing ratings of ABC’s The Revolution which, if GH gets the ax, would be the lead-in to Katie when the talker debuts this fall. Couric and Zucker want to see GH get that slot because it’s a stronger show, Nielsen-wise, plus Couric does not want to face the wrath of GH fans and risk the chance they’ll organize a boycott. Who the hell needs that? So she and Zucker want The Revolution to go bye-bye.
Will the ABC suits kowtow to this? They may not have a choice. In fact, they might even agree at this point. Our spies at Times Square Studios — the new tag for ABC Daytime — tell us the commitment to nonscripted shows remains firm in the ABC daypart but no one is doing handstands over the ones currently in development, which include a doctor show and a game show. While ABC technically has time (though not much) to replace The Revolution with more reality, that option is looking way too chancy.”
Is Katie Couric going to have the final say of what program stays and what program goes? This is very good news for GH, even though it would adjust its time slot to fit Couric. You can’t say that Couric is not savvy and watching what is going on in the landscape!

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’
We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.
Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.
Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story. The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.

In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.
The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed. Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.

In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”
No word yet on when The Workout will be released.

51st Annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Set to Be Announced
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences revealed on Wednesday via X, that this year’s 51st annual Daytime Emmy Nominations are set to be announced in full on Friday, April 19th at 12 pm ET/9 am PT.
However, four of the top award category nominations will be revealed on Thursday, April 18th across four entertainment news programs to kick things off.
Those include this Thursday episodes of Access Hollywood, E! News, Entertainment Tonight and Extra. Over the past few years, NATAS has often let the syndicated entertainment news program handle the duties of revealing the top actor and actress in a daytime drama series, but we shall see which categories the shows unveil this year.

As previously announced, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented in ceremonies on Friday night, June 7th on CBS (8 – 10 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+*.
The awards will be back at The Bonaventure hotel in downtown Los Angeles, where (the delayed due to the actors and writers strike) 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were held back in December of 2023.

The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary, and legal/courtroom programs. In 2021, NATAS and the Television Academy jointly announced plans to realign the Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards to be organized by content genre, as opposed to program airtime.
The 51st Daytime Emmy Nominations will honor the work and achievement from the calendar year of 2023.

General Hospital’s Adam J. Harrington Weighs-in On John and Carly, and How it’s ‘Starting to Get Very Complicated”
On recent episodes of General Hospital, Carly (Laura Wright) came to John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) rescue as he was beaten down in an assault. Carly put on her “nurses cap,” sort of speak, and got John to his hotel room and watched over to him, to make sure he didn’t lose consciousness.
GH fans also got their first glimpse of what may be a new romance for Carly, if she and John continue to bond. If John and Carly were to have a relationship, it would certainly have a ripple effect with Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Adam J. Harrington shared his view on the scenes and what might be next between the two. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Harrington shared, “I thought it was written in a way where there’s an understanding and a respect between them both. I don’t think there was any moment where she was not aware that he’s an FBI agent, and there was no moment that he wasn’t aware of her history and relationship to other people in the town. I really liked it. I was really looking forward to shooting it with Laura and we had a really nice time shooting it.”

When Carly and John part ways, it seems there were some romantic sparks, as Harrington puts it, “Isn’t that interesting that sometimes with people, the one moment they actually show how they feel is when they know there’s an escape hatch. They know they’re about to walk away. So, it’s almost safe in that moment to do it. I thought that was really special about how (the writers) handled John and Carly. Even the music in that scene was beautifully done.”
Where is this all heading? Conflict! Internally and professionally, and as Adam explains, “Who Carly was to John on paper as just a tool to be used as bait is starting to get very complicated.”

I will not watch her show. Bring back AMC and OLTL.
me either ,but I will try to be a little less nasty about her,or maybe not ,I still dont like her and I wont watch her show ,no talk shows for me ,I want all my children and one life to live ,but every day another part of the cast of our soaps are moving on to other projects.
That’s exactly what ABC/Disney is counting on. They figured the angry soap fans would give up after awhile and just watch what they want us to watch. Since that is not happening, they are waiting for the cast members to move on. I’m not home in the day anymore so when OLTL was cancelled I just adjusted the timer on my VCR to tape GH.
I will never give in and watch that crap The Revolution Or The Chew…. NEVER!!!!!!!!!! I don’t like Dr. Oz … He gives me a headache…..Too much info for me….He thinks he’s a miracle worker… I don’t like doctors in general….Too much info/talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m changing the channel asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is anyone out there????????????????????
I guess abc is willing to pay the big bucks for Katie Couric…I thought they were interested in low-buget shows like the revolution & The Chewing Gum Show…They have the bucks for K. Couric…Then they can afford to have the soaps on too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abc is two-faced…….They say one thing & do another… They are screwed-up.. No wonder CBS is #1 & not abc….Again I thought abc wanted to save money…They are (abc) such back stabbers!!!!!!!!!!
ABC show have at least one soap opera the other 2 network has at least one. GH need to stop being bias, and keep the better actors/actresses and get rid of those who can’t. Get rid of the clicks,move the storylines, and get better writers. They got rid of Guza,Phelps, now they can take Wolf with them. Its all about writing god material for the actor/actresses who can act, and not about their friends or their personal fangurl.

Seriously the only time my TV goes on in the afternoon is at 2pm to watch GH. After that it goes off. There is nothing interesting on ABC during the day that makes me want to become an avid viewer of
The Chew or The Revolusion. No viewer wants to watch a network full of talk shows. If GH goes I’ll become a Y &R fan. ABC would be wise to listen to Katie.
I agree with Trish 100% ! The ABC line up stinks and I refuse to watch it with the exception of GH. If Katie Couric, the overpaid talking head, gets her show in the line up I will become ever more angry and leave ABC in the dust. ABC ARE YOU LISTENING TO US?
I definitely won’t watch. What is the matter with ABC and tv in general. How much talk, news can we digest? I will continue to boycott ABC because of the was they has dissed all of us longtime viewers. We have tuned in during the day because of our soaps. I will put CMT on and listen to my favorite music while I play on my pc. No more ABC except for General Hospital. Why doesn’t everyone just watch CNN? All the news and talk junkies can turn in there.

BINGO!!!! Thats what I’ve been posting in the facebook groups. All of these new decisions lately that seem to be in favor of the soaps and soapnet staying on the air are myterious to me. It’s ABC crying uncle without actually publically crying uncle and saying we made a mistake with these soaps.. we’re keeping them on. Cowardly.

Ive been trying to tell everyone this,I read it several weeks ago,katie couric is not a dumb woman,and she knows that us abc soap fans are doing everything we can to DESTROY abc daytime and she does not want us to destroy her talk show and loosing general hospital will do that.so someone is hearing us ,katie c or abc/disney,continue to fight for general hospital ,let abc/disney know we will not watch any of there shows daytime or prime time ,they canceled all my children and one life to live and they also are playing head games with general hospital,so continue the fight .
Yes, you were right. Katie is not stupid, and she has saved GH because it is in her own self-interest. Many people here have bashed her and now they should thank her. Katie is the one person who has the power to save GH.

If this story is true, then it truly is a smart move on the part of Katie Couric and Jeff Zucker for two reasons – imo:
– As indicated above, having a stronger lead-in like GH, makes much more sense
– I am guessing Katie Couric and Jeff Zucker “might” also be thinking, heck, if we put it out there that we want GH to stay on the air, then “just maybe” the GH fans will want to watch our show too! They obviously see the strong support and dedication of the GH Fans.
Like I have said in other posts, whatever it takes to keep GH on the air, works for me, including Katie Couric and Jeff Zucker putting their support behind it!

I know. When i 1st heard of the cancellation I was in denial, i was like nah, not going to happen. Now….I miss Erika Slezak, Bob Woods. They must be going through some serious withdrawal. When they broke up Nat and John I watched Rex and Gigi, or Bo and Nora. There was always another story to keep me entertained. A rich, sorely missed show.
I pray she can save our soap GH also if she could get our other shows AMC and OLTL back even if we have to settle for 30 min programs each I’d be happy

I think it was a pr move by Couric to give her show a fighting chance. Now ABC wants to make it all talk shows. Not imaginative at all, 1 noted and boring. Those types of shows are ok at best,once a week and not even, but everyday, it gets old quick. You need variety. Don’t know what’s so hard to understand.

No, don’t watch The Talk, was changing channels on my TV at work and saw Rick Springfield and stopped to hear what he was talking about bc I knew it concerned GH. After he got off the GH subject, I changed channel, didn’t even stay for his performance. I refuse to support ANY program that was put on due to a cancellation of a soap opera. Although I could watch The Talk, since their show wasn’t put on to replace one of MY soaps, BUT….. I support the genre, so I wont watch ANY show put on in place of a soap. And that’s why I agree with the poster on here that said today,” Katie’s show won’t make it. ” I agree, bc NOT only are ABC soap fans not happy with these Reality Shows in place of soaps, BUT soaps fans from CBS and NBC know they can’t support Couric bc 1, they have already lost soaps on their network to Reality/Talk, and 2, if they support Katie and switch over to ABC when she is on, then they are SOON to expect their remaining soaps to be replaced and that’s the end of the genre! Barbara, it doesn’t cost 20million to be on a soap opera. I heard it was around 1 million, but I don’t remember if the 1 million was for 6 months or 1 million a year. Still, whatever it is, it don’t cost 20 million to put on a soap in a year’s time. We should keep posting this, and write our local newspapers until it makes mainstream news: ABC cancelled our soaps (which were supposely too costly to replace it with Katie Couric and a salary of 20 million which far outseeds what it cost to produce a 2 soaps….
That’s BAD business, it don’t even make sense!!!!!! Another bad business deal..!

If moving GH to the 2pm slot will keep it in the air I’m all for it as I have watched GH since Jessie, Phil, Steve, Audrey and Lucille. However I will never watch the Oprah wannabe. Ms. $20M Couric had nerve to demand GH’s 3pm slot.

I will only consider watching Katie as long as GH stays on. The minute GH leaves ABC airwaves, so does my viewership of ABC.

Also Tristin made a tweet yesterday that kinda scared me. Obviously he is upset with GH, and making the comment he did isn’t going to win him his time back on the show. When asked why he was being let go so fast, he said that we are all in for a surprise, suggesting that all our fav’s are on loan. Something ‘fishy’ is going on behind scenes. Is Scott or Felicia on contract or are there visits just like Roberts, disapointing??

Of couse Katie wants General Hospital as a lead in for her show. GH was a lead in for Oprah in the eighties and look where it took her!!! Where is Oprah’s network with out GH as a lead in???? Um….. Oprah had MORE than15 minutes of fame. (U must be talking about one of the winner’s of American Idol, or the maker of Achy Breaky Heart ). Oprah’s network is in the toilet bc people are tired of reality television EVEN though her programing is centered in a positive light. People are just TIRED of Reality Programing. Oprah hasn’t been off Network television not even a year yet; she is FAR<<<<<<< from a " has been". The woman has her own network for God's sake, and like any new busines it is having its challenges in the 1st and 2nd year. Oprah is STILL winning awards and just won an Oscar at the Academy Awards. She is considered the most powerful woman in America, so we should be careful about her we use terms "has beens". Oprah is STILL too visual & powerful to be considered a has been. I dont hold it against her bc she didn't want to pick up the soaps. I just think it was a bad business decision on her part. I wouldn't exactly call Couric a "has been" either. With her jumping networks make her seem unstable, but she obviously is still in command- to be able to get 20 million for a talk show. I agree with you ted ,I hope they all come here and read our posts,k c is looking out for her self she doesnt want all the blacklash like the apples and oranges lady in the white lab coat got ,the revolution is paying dearly for taking the place of one life to live ,till the day that I die I will never except any program that is on at 2 oclock ,watched that soap since day 1 ,its a hard habit to break,and because abc/disney broke my heart I will never watch them again,Im staying with general hospital,if they pull the plug on that ,the hour abc/disney had left with me is over.
As a viewer I was upset when they cancelled OLTL. Then they said they were going to put it on the internet, it was a lie. A lie to make the fans happy until the last minute.
If either NBC or CBS were to buy OLTL and put it back on the air, I would be there. Don’t let them cancel GH too.

I watch the Bachelor and Dancing with the Star’s and thats before this Realty Television became so popular and blew up! I can’t even remember to put on American Idol anymore and I am a music LOVER………..!

By God, it’s about time Katie Couric speak up loud and clear that she really want GH to stay on forever and 5 stoogies can go back where they came from(Tim Gunn from Bravo’s Project Runaway and other 4 different people from what the hell they came from???) All I do care about one of greatest Soap Opera of all time.. I used to watch in GH started in 1981 with Scorpios clans,Conthinos clans. Morgan clans and Quatermaine clans. Luke Spencer lost his kids except LuLu who married to Dante Falconic (Sonny’s little boy). I do have lot of memories of adventures of Scorpio family,Drake Family and Conthinos Family. Our Hero,Jason Morgan Quatermaine save the day 🙂 Yay!! wait until get loaded of this guy named John McBain from OLTL is gonna to be easy way out to get Sonny and rest of mobs behind of bars for good. It’s good to see Robin’s spirit goes off to Heaven for now after she talked with her daddy,Robert last week. I feel sad to see Robin becomes vanished forever. Off you go,Robin,Off you go
Unfortunately I dont think Katie has the power to save GH. I believe she’s intelligent and she wants no part of the conflict surrounding the soap cancellations.But I think in the end Disney’s bottom line is to save production money. Despite GH’s rising ratings I think Disney’s point is that soaps cost too much to produce and they want to cut those costs. And if the Revolution and the Chew continue to tank in ratings Disney will just cut its losses and return the 1+ 2pm time slots to the local affiliates. They will scramble to fill the time with infomercials or local programming.
Disney wont care because they still wont have to spend production money. But this would really negatively effect Katie’s show. I hope they compromise and leave GH as a lead in for Katie. But Disney is greedy and cheap these days so I wont hold my breath. We should all enjoy GH while we can and continue to fight to build a demand for a cable station that would be willing to buy the rights to GH and take it elsewhere. Trying to do business with Disney is futile.

I am liking GH now. However, should they not be successful, I won’t punish abc primetime. They have some good shows on at night. They want to keep GH then they will allow the budget. If not, after 40 years of me watching it will be good bye. Who wants to watch crap anymore??
Would be great for me to have GH on at 2. Now I see the last half and watch the 1st half on Soapnet or online. I will only watch GH day or night. I hate ABC and refuse to do even one thing for them because they don’t really care what I think! I can’t see ABC execs doing anything that makes sense! I am now watching DOOL, although I am not too motivated about watching that since I saw how disgusting Lisa Rinnai look and acts! There’s no way the ratings for The Chew can be any better. They should ax that as well. I unfortunately had to suffer through part of it when I was waiting for an appointment one day – they had it on the television in the waiting room. I cannot for the life of me understand why this show full of annoying “hosts” is still on! Mario B is just plain unkempt looking. Top Chef Carla is annoying when she speaks. Daphne O – hmmmm, did she get the job cuz of daddy-o? Clinton seems uncomfortable and uneasy. And that other guy – another annoyance.
They should ax both Chew and Revolution. Let Agnes Nixon do a reboot – maybe an AMC/OLTL combo? And leave GH where it is.
Couric – well, she’s a business woman. She (and her publicists) wouldn’t want the wrath of the soap community boycotting her show or the show’s sponsors. That’s all it is. And I’m sure her team is watching the ratings on GH which is why she is suddenly trying to be perceived as the “great defender” of GH.
Unfortunately I think ABC/Disney will not do the right thing and keep GH on air.

Why does GH have to be moved to another time slot for Kati? Rather the Revolution stays or goes, all that has to be done is place Katy on at 4pm where Oprah was, and put the News back on at 5pm. Why hasn’t anyone thought of this? There has never been News in the History of ABC at 4pm. Why do we need THREE and a HALF hours of News from 4pm until 7pm. That’s over-kill regardless of Revolution staying or going. It could be as simple as this:

I thought the News was a ( filler) for when Oprah went off the air at 4pm in May of 2011, but a “show ” would replace the News for the Fall line-up of 2011.
What is the BIG DEAL? Just take the News OFF….! The News has started in every market at 5pm for 25 years, and it can go back to doing so. That’s the very simple solution without disturbing GH time slot, rather Revolution “stays or goes”, and Kati can go on at 4pm. Noone needs three in a half hours of News!

Oprah was a great show, I watched faithfully for all those yrs, but also the soaps too. The soaps are much loved, cherished and popular in their own rgt. Sures hell didn’t deserve to be tossed aside like yesterday’s news after Oprah left. Total disrespect and shameful. Yes, it does take money and power to put on a good show, but bottom line it takes THE FANS to put it on the map. If you don’t have THE FANS, you have NOTHING!!!! FLOP CITY!!!!

She’s smarter than Oprah.
Yeah right! U don’t even believe that…! If she was… she would have her OWN network and done all the many things for the world as Oprah has. If U are saying this based on Oprah not picking up the soaps verses Courie wanting GH to stay on as the lead into her show, that doesn’t make her smarter. She’s using GH to get what she wants which is to stay visual. U never hear about her donating any of her millions she is making, building houses, giving schlorships- instead she is getting richer with this new talk show. And if U are thinking that’s why Oprah’s network is failing, as the means for Oprah not being as smart; everyone knows the 1st and 2nd year in business poses the most challenges, and that makes Oprah no different. Oprah I’m sure, knows the viewership that carrying the soaps could bring to her network, and for whatever reasons doesn’t want to be involved. On the other hand, Katie knows the viewership that can follow her if she supports GH staying on air, so in actuality Katie support is for self gain ONLY! If Oprah was interested in “self gain ” only she would have carried the soaps. Oprah has used money, position and power to help people that were in life and death situations. Losing our soaps isn’t a life or death situation, although we feel a tremendous loss. Therefore for all that she has done to help people should not be over looked just because she choses not to carry the soaps. It’s a bad business decision to us only, because that’s what ” we ” want. However, she has stepped up to the plate when it is necessary in all kinds of life and death situations that affects REAL humanity!

I supposed it’s been said, but why not put Couric in the Revolution timeslot and leave GH where it is? The Revolution was only ordered for about 200 episodes which will take it into September (convenient?) Guess I’ll just have to wait and see

I was telling my girlfriend that they may move GH to the 2:00 p.m. time slot of KC takes over for 3:00 pm. She said noooo!!!! Her 14 yr old high school daughter said a bunch of girls rush home to see it after school. I’m happy w/any time slot as long as they keep GH on, but I don’t see a diminishing audience. I’m 42 yrs old & I couldn’t help but to recall when i ran down numerous flights of stairs once that bell rang for me in high school. I was 14 too and my friends knew (not to hold me back, couldn’t hang out), I bolted and booked to get home. Traveled from Manhattan to Queens, to bust through the doors and watch GH!!!! I would always hope I didn’t skip a step in my hurry and bust my a*** and I never did:) So soaps have and will be a great tradition that all types and ages can enjoy/talk about the next day. W/all this upheaval it was nice to know somethings never change. Made me feel real good about Soaps.
good memories,I use to do the same thing with my best friend so many years ago ,we would hear the bell ring ,go to our lockers ,then run like a bat out of hell out of school hoping we wouldnt get caught and get detention for racing down the halls because we didnt want to miss 1 second of general hospital,my house was the closest ,and my grandmother had the television on ready for us to run in a sit on the couch and enjoy good afternoon drama,I sure would love to go back in time.
Least you had a best friend. My friends thought I was nuts! Although they too watched GH, liked “Frisco and Felicia” at the time, but didn’t go crazy getting home. I had to too b/c I didn’t have a vcr. About the only home that didn’t. But it was ok, I beat the clock! Yeah, I love those days.
There’s lots of history, rich stories and iconic like characters that soaps brought to tv. I wish networks would realize and appreciate those aspects. Great soap couples started families and branched out w/their kids and you get to see it all, the drama (villians), laughs (kooky characters), loves (popular couples), day after day, into numerous amt of yrs and b4 u know it, the kids have grow up on tv and you’ve become proud and attached to those characters and therefore the soap. Soaps are lengendary and there’s nothing like it:)

oh yeah she was cool ,and its such a shame that all the rich history with the soaps ends because of greed ,the amount of money abc/disney is spending on there prime time programming ,they could have kept all my children and one life to live ,Its just not the same anymore ,dont think that daytime t v will every be the same,linda and I had a few friends who thought we were nuts,they still do.but I love my soaps and I guess people have to watch them to understand how we feel, I hope they dont cancel general hospital.thanks for sharing your memories to .
Soap fans vs non-soap fans. Reminds me of pet ppl vs non-pet ppl. When some1 loses a beloved pet, cat or dog and they’re in serious mourning. Some insensitive ppl say “oh it’s just a cat”. So don’t get it!!!!

Quit putting MORE reality shows on. Enough is enough. Give us our soaps. We have been loyal for many, many years to them, and ABC. I will not watch ABC EVER until they are back on. I do watch GH, but online. It doesn’t matter I have to wait a day. And there are less commercials.
We have been good customers to all the sponsors for YEARS!!! I am 57, watched them in grade school and through all these years. Shame on you ABC. The Revolution and The Chew just stink.
Katie, is looking out for herself no matter how you look at it. If ABC wants me to watch ANYTHING other than GH they better bring back my
soaps !
They put Brian Fronz ( a man who hated daytime programming) in charge of it, he wanted to become the IT guy, so he slowly made the soaps worse ( rushed writing etc) then w/ out trying other options first ( I would have paid a monthly fee, shorter show, 17 weeks per show, product placement…etc.) he stabbed loyal viewers in the back cancelled my shows and created this new cheap crap. Sure, he since lost his job, but ABC still won’t own up to this disaster and make things right! Until they do , they can leave me where they left me …. on the side lines !!!!
oh, and if they are so confident in their decision to have her “great talk show “save daytime for them, let her be the lead-in to GH and help it’s ratings go up…LOL Young “After school” viewers prefer soaps to talk shows anyway.

Just to add, what she is not realizing is that she is destined to fail already because she will be on ABC. She is already as good as boycott.
I agree with Katie and her team. I am hoping that the lousy replacement show ” The Revolution Show either gets canceled by September of this year, or gets canceled before her show goes to ABC, and I hope that GH takes that 2:00 time slot away from That stupid revolution show, and that Katie’s show can still air at three o’clock as or GH stays on at three and Katie’s shows airs at 2:00

Let Katie go on at 4 like Oprah (the dopra) did. Why should GH move. Put OLTL back at 2. Better than canceling gH to put it at 2, but GH fans are used to 3. And I don’t really buy Katie’s concern, but figure she wants a good lead in. Put Katie at 2?
Right now I would say I would not watch her. I don’t want Dr. Oz canceled he gives better info than Oprah ever did, and I don’t trust Katie anymore dr. oz is much better.
I will never watch Katie Couric in the place of General Hospital. I’m just surprised on how ABC is treating its loyal viewers. Like we don’t matter. We are making a point with the ratings of General Hospital. We want General Hospital to stay on air. ABC show us the fans that you really care about us.
