Kimberly McCullough Shares Clip From 'Hey Day' Featuring Finola Hughes!

The dream team of Kimberly McCullough and Finola Hughes are back!

But this time not as mother/daughter on ABC’s General Hospital, where for decades they have played Robin and Anna, but as director and actress, as McCullough directs Hughes on-screen in her passion project pilot of Hey Day!

In the just released short clip from Hey Day, Hughes is seen having quite the ‘frank’ talk to Chrissie Fit who plays the lead in Hey Day.

Fans have rallied around McCullough’s project when news spread that former GH star John Stamos (Ex-Blackie Parrish) was also creating a series inspired by his time on a soap in the 80’s.

Watch this little nugget from Hey Day after the jump, and then let us know if you are excited to see more!

YES! I’m so excited to see more! I done watched this clip so many times, I can’t get enough…

Emma, you will never believe what word grandma just said!

Loved it. The word, I mean. Ha!!

Hey Timmm..
Ohh the ever versatile Fu** <– can't even write it out, how ridiculous..
That word has a 1000 meanings of expression..
and rarely is one intercourse LOL

ahaa my hatch on the car snapped and knocked me on the head, it HURT.. I was jumping yelling' FU** to express my pain.. and that says; Pain!
It is the most expressive word, ever.

that word lost its' juice years ago, why its hung onto is beyond me, it means only what the expression is..

0ooh this is funny..
in checkout lane grocery store..
elderly grandma was digging in her purse for a 25 cent coupon holding up the line.
the guy behind me laid a quarter down and said, paid for, move on..
she turned, gave him the death eye and said;
'' I'm not moving on until I find the FU^^ING coupon..!!
See, the expression word is used by everyone for whichever occasion LOL

THAT was funny, Su!

LOL. SuzieQ. The word is not ‘BAD’. Society makes things’ bad’. You know, as kids we were always told not to say certain words, or else. I couldn’t even say, ‘stupid’, especially to my siblings. Now, I call them stupid all the time. LOL.
It’s like the word ‘bitch’. The definition is “the female of the species ( canine). But, we tell our kids not to say it. Society dictates it. In different cultures/languages, the term is used, and not considered a no-no.
The stigma remains. I even think of the word, and I see my mother’s eyes boring into me. HaHa!!
But, I almost said it just this morning. Men can be such idiots, su…..know what I mean? LOL…Sorry, guys!!

You would never believe the words my late grandma use…if she were alive today she could make a rapper blush-lol

Let me explain. Saying that word does not come easy for me. I never say it….but, I might say it to myself, sotto voce. So, Timmmy; when I hear someone such as Anna/Finola , whom I adore, and consider a lady, say it…I appreciate it.
Bottom line….we all say ‘WORDS’, just not outloud.

hi Celia ! 🙂
for fun;
what makes the F word so bad?
Why is it profiled as the worst word in history .. LOL

Our tv/movies have rape, torture, bad azz sex, and the bad of the bad, the unthinkable, there are no stop signs for anything in our books, music, media and the F word gets bleeped,,, ahaaa!

Yeah, that word should be reserved for special occasions! I’m not a big fan of swearing. I do find it easier to write than to say! AND, call me old fashion but It is a big turn off for me to hear a women swear like a sailor!

Celia…you are a master of words. What is this one’s origin? Even asking this question I can’t say it easily. Remember when I once used it to my Mother as a teenager. She was by no means an obusive (sp?) mom, but she slapped me across the face (I can still feel it) and said to never use that word again, especially to her. So even if the hatch hits me on the head like Su I can’t say it. Must admit s**t has been my go-to word instead under these kind of situations.

LOL…the word rolls off my tongue whenever I’m pissed. I find it quite cathartic… 🙂

Can Wait to see the rest of this project !

I love it. I can’t wait to see the whole thing. More, more, more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not think i would ever hear Finola utter an expletive like that—it made me laugh though—hahaha!!!

Looking forward to this! The actress looked familiar so I looked her up. She used to play babysitter / nanny Mercedes on GH.

1000% want to see more

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’

We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.

Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.

Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story.  The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.

In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.

The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed.  Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.

In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”

No word yet on when The Workout will be released.

So, looking forward to seeing this collaborative effort featuring GH’s Josh Kelly? Comment below.
