Another new face is coming to Salem, when Lucas Adams debuts in his new role of Tripp in early 2017 on Days of our Lives.

Just who is Tripp? According to Serial Scoop, they report that he will actually turn out to be Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Ava’s (Tamara Braun).

As for Adams’ previous credits, they include: True Blood, Grimm, Recovery Road,  Dexter, Suburgatory and as the role of Josh Wilcox on Liv and Maddie .

Will Joey (James Lastovic) get along with his half-brother?  Will Tripp drive a wrecking ball through Stayla’s relationship?  Stay tuned.

argh!!!! – ONLY – if this includes Tamara Braun… she was AMAZING this last go around.

she gave as good as she got…. her best

she reminded me so much of …. Kristen DiMera… and that’s a huge payoff.

THERE was ALOT of passion with Steve and Ava. yeah, for me, to say that

“Kayla, KAYLA, KayLA “

One more kid to over develop as in sorasing and under develop as in story lining…I’d rather watch a figure skating sumo wrestler. ..and there it is. .the baby bird…

He isn’t aged,Ava had him a long time ago,she was told he died.

“Tripp”? Really? Terrible name. Hopefully this kid can act, unlike half of the current teen set.

exactly what i was going to say ! hope the kid has some theater background and can act . plus a kid of patch with evil ava , good lord ! have to rinse my eyes . boy has patch kayla been destroyed by these writers .

HaHa, Jimmy. Too funny. Maybe, Patch’s time with Ava was a real ‘Tripp’?

David did father a child with Trish, Celia. His name is Scott(y).

Viewers never knew David and Valerie rekindled their romance and had a son. Julie doesn’t know and David is most likely clueless too!

This Lucas Adams kid better have some M-A-J-O-R ACTING CHOPS!!!!! If not, who cares……….

Good grief. Didn’t Ava just have the baby a few years ago? How is the kid so old?

Will it come out that Joey killed his mother?

I’m tired of all these new characters and young actors on the show. I’d rather see story with Julie and Doug, Maggie and Victor.

I just hope this guy can act.

No, Mo, they only recently looked for their baby (Tripp) because they didn’t know he existed until then. Ava was on anti-psychotic drugs!

Julie will have a lot of story coming up because she’s the grandmother of the first black Horton…Valerie gave birth to David’s son!

Ok. So, 4ever….I realize I was not on earth at that time, LOL…..( most of my DOOL back history is from my grandmother)….. but, I thought David had a child with Trish? ( Patty Weaver). Hmmmm. I wonder why my grandmother didn’t tell me about a baby with Valerie. Is this for certain?
Am I to assume Julie has no idea of this kid’s existence? Surprise, Julie!! This, I “gotta” see.

Thanks, 4ever….got it. So, David has two kids with two different women.

Tripp is a nickname usually given to boys who are the third family member to have the same name. I.e. If grandfather is John, his son is John Jr., his grandson is John III who is called Tripp for triple.

Ohhhhh!! Thank you, mfarris. I just leaned something new.

Since Joey murdered Tripp’s mother, I doubt there will be brotherly bonding.

i’m a dolt… short on memory recall. always in the moment. I forgot… that Ava is down under.

Tamara Braun is such a good actress.

Gee, Patrick; I thought Ava was dead, not in Aussieland. KIDDING!!

I feel sometimes that this show is “grasping at straws” trying to get something solid going which it seldom seems to accomplish. They need another young actor on this show like a hole in the head – most of the ones they currently have can barely act as it is – sorry, I know that sounds kind of harsh but I honestly do watch this show on a regular basis (at night, after work, on the NBC ap) and most of the time I find myself saying “geez, get ON WITH it already!” meaning that the scripts and storylines are sooo draggy, and actually, out-of-touch with today.

I do not watch Days but when I saw the picture of this young actor I was struck by his resemblance to a very young Michael York.

Well, until Joey and Jade had sex, I was hoping Jade was Ava’s daughter. The actress resembled Ava to a certain degree and some of her mannersisms were similar so it could have worked.

And this guy could have been a new Will (as I’ve given up the remote hope that Chandler is ever going to come back).

But the dynamic could be interesting between him and Joey (if Joey could muster up enough energy to act anthing more than stoned 24/7).

I have appreciated that the teen brigade has been downplayed some the last couple of months. These guys were really green and the show made all kinds of mistakes dealing with them – Joey seriously underplays everything, Ciara is still SOOOO stiff, Theo and Claire tend to overact, the best one of the bunch was Chase and he was immediately written into a corner and off the show. They’ve all improved but they all still have quite a ways to go before being able to handle the types of stories that the show threw Ciara and Joey into right off the bat. They need stories where they regularly intereact with adults so they can learn from the older actors (which is what has been happening recently so they aren’t having to carry stories by themselves). And I see potential for Claire to be a new trouble maker on the show – she could be a new Sami with a little more seasoning.

Well he looks more like our Patch man than his other onscreen children.

Hope he ultimately gives our Patch man a chance. The man takes far too much abuse from others.

Would rather see this than the current fare on Days. The holiday season for Days was ruined by the Deimos stuff. Now Nicole seems to have inherited the bad vibes as well. Their story is one I really can no longer continue with.

He resembles Stephen Nichols too. That name though, maybe it’s a nickname like Patch was for Steve, he might trip a lot.

I actually have seen this kid on some other shows. I think he’s a good looking kid, plus might lend a genuine depth to his character.
