Nashville Season Five First Look Promo Released By CMT As The Main Characters Lament!

In a glitzy new “get to know the characters” promo featuring: Connie Britton (Rayna), Hayden Panettiere (Scarlett), Claire Bowen (Scarlett), Charles Esten (Deacon), Lennon Stella (Maddie), Jonathan Jackson (Avery), Chris Carmack (Will) and Sam Palladio (Gunnar), the main characters of Nashville use poetic verse and lament on their lives and how music saves them in the first full-length teaser for the upcoming fifth season of the music city drama.

Nashville is set to bow on CMT in a two-hour season premiere on January 5th, with a 22 episode season, with Connie Britton anticipated to exit the show by the midway point.

Below is the verse said by Rayna, Juliette, Scarlett, Deacon, Will, Maddie, Avery and Gunnar:

We all break, that’s what makes us human

We tape ourselves together so that no one can see our flawed hearts

But not all who break are broken. Sometimes you have to break your own heart to put the pieces back in the right place

I’ve left a trail of destruction, hurt the people I love and let down the people who love me

I’m selfish, dishonest, and raw

Music that was something else, that’s the one undeniable pass

And if my choices make me, it’s my music that saves me

There’s all roads wrong or right

All choices dark and light

The place you’re meant to be

The face you’re meant to see

And every moment led me here to you

To my heart

To Nashville

There is one, just one actor/character I like and that is Decon.
The music is horrible.
The stories could be good if no music taking up screen time .
I watched some of 1st season and had to never watch, again LOL ..

For all who can stomach Nashville I’m glad it was saved for you ..Enjoy.

I love Nashville!! I hope CMT doesn’t change it up too much!!

Wow, that’s a sharp promo!
