On Halloween night, October 31st, former One Life to Live fan favorite Nathaniel Marston (Ex-Al and Ex-Michael) was involved a serious car accident that has rendered him in critical condition.  Marston’s mother, Elizabeth Jackson has been posting updates on her facebook page on her son’s medical status throughout the last 24 to 36 hours, and it is has been heartbreaking.

Jackson first reported:  “Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston. He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries. Please pray that he will recover and walk again.”

For those who were concerned that alchocol or drugs were a part of the cause of Nathaniel’s car crash, Elizabeth related to his fans, friends, and long time colleagues: “Just spoke to highway patrol and tribal police. In case rumor mill gets going. Nate was sober according to cops.  Waiting to speak to Dr.  Please pray that Nate does not end up a parapalegic … neck broken and fracuted in neck vertabrea 3,4,5,6, and 7. Shoulder broken along with all ribs. Collapsed lung and pnenoma. Please please pray for him”

However, the updates became more intense when Elizabeth posted: “Spoke to Nates Dr. In all likely hood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine. Oh my God please give me strength.”

LATEST UPDATE:  On Monday afternoon:  Jackson posted an update to her facebook page which said that Nathaniel went into surgery – stating:  “Nate was able to decide and express very clearly this morning that he is not going to give up without a fight,” she wrote. “He is going into surgery at 3:00 this afternoon. The goal is to get him breathing on his own. The Dr said that there is a good chance that he will recover the use of upper body movement and a slim chance that he will walk again. Recovery will take 2 or more years but where there is life there is hope. Nate has never walked away from a fight and he is determined to win this one….  Both Nate and I appreciate your love prayers and support.”

Marston is dear friend’s whith his former One Life to Live cast mate Michael Easton who posted on his facebook page, a photo of himself with Nathaniel relating: “Please say a prayer for Nathaniel.”

Nathaniel started his soap career as Eddie Silva on As the World Turns.  He next played Al Holden on One Life to Live from 2001-2003, and then after much outcry was brought back to the series as Michael McBain from 2004-2007.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Nathaniel and his family at this time.   On-Air On-Soaps will continue to bring you updates on the situation as they warrant.  Please share your thoughts and prayers for Nathaniel in the comment section below!

That’s so sad. Prayers.

He is in my thoughts and prayers…last night my ex-brother-in-law was taken off life support and passed away!…he had cancer!

Sorry to hear that Jim

Thank You!

sincerely, take care

So sorry for your loss.

Prayers and thoughts to you and your family;an also to Marston family.

I’m sorry Jim, prayers to you and your loved ones!

I echo everyone else, Jimmy. Prayers!

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jim…

thanks for all your kind words

OMG! That is horrific. He has a long road ahead of him.

He did, Mo. So young. It seems that he has been under a dark cloud for a while. Poor guy. I remember him being fired from OLTL due to his arrest after a brawl in Manhattan.
I pray that his luck will turn for the better and be whole again. No one deserves this….I hope he’s not in pain. And, his poor mother must be a mess!!

Yes, he has had a lot of probs, some I would say were of his making, but no one deserves this. His mother posted that he did well in the surgery. She sounds very frantic indeed, no surprise.

Hopefully she knows that a lot of people hope he gets better. I didn’t watch OLTL when he was on, but I hope he can improve.

Sending prayers to him and his family. God bless.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I loved Nathaniel on OLTL. My prayers are most definitely with him and his family.

so very sad. hope and pray he’ll be okay

When I hear news like this about strangers, my heart always goes out to the victim and their families. My heart is doubly affected about Nathaniel. I only knew him from his work but he did such a fantastic job of bringing his characters to life. He did a great job with Al but I was partial to Michael McBain. He truly made that character come alive so I guess in some way I feel like I knew him even though I didn’t. I truly feel for his poor mother, family and friends. He’ll be in my thoughts and prayers. So tragic.

Prayers being sent

No family should go through this. God bless them and I pray for his full recovery.

So sad to hear this! Praying for him & his mom.

Omg this is horrible. I pray for him to get better, at the same time it would not be great for him to be completely paralyzed and not be able to breathe without a ventilator machine! I send prayers to him, his mother and all of their loved ones!

I get that. It wouldn’t be much of a life.

What caused the accident? Was anyone else involved? So said any way you slice it. I believe he was married.

I don’t think his mother has said how it happened, just that police are saying that alcohol wasn’t involved.

Dear God have mercy and bring peace to his family at this time. I pray for a miracle as Your will is done in Jesus’ name.

Very sad news.

THIS IS HORRIBLE SAD SAD NEWS….OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH NATHANIEL AND HIS FAMILY….WE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE…

Thoughts and prayers for Nathaniel and his family.

Loved him on OLTL.

Marston appeared as Eddie Silva on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns from 1998 to 2000. The role earned him a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for “Outstanding Male Newcomer.” He next portrayed Al Holden on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live from 2001 to 2003, and then played Dr. Michael McBain on the series from 2004 to 2007.

I knew i recognized him from … ATWT

this is devastating…
I pray for the best for all his family

Please come out from this, Nathaniel—you still have more great work to do on television!!!

so sorry to hear this. i will pray for his recovery and to his family. my heart is heavy with this news.

so sorry, praying for a miracle

From her latest post, it sounds like there is a good chance he will have upper body movement and a slim chance he will walk again. Recovery will be 2 or more years.

i loved him as eddie on as the world turns! i hope he will pull thru somehow!

Lord. Please spare Nate, give him a healing chance, we

his fans are not ready to give up on him soap world needs him dearly. I asking. To heal Nate.

Here is his mom’s update from Facebook just a few hours ago:

Nate update: Nate was able to decide and express very clearly this morni that he is not going to give up without a fight. He is going into surgery at 300 this afternoon. The goal is to get him breathing on his own. The Dr said that there is a good chance that he will recover the use of upper body movement and a slim chance that he will walk again. Recovery will take 2 or more years but where there is life there is hope. Nate has never walked away from a fight and he is determined to win this one.. please pray for Nates full and complete recovery. Both Nate and I appreciate your love prayers and support.

Its unreal. He’s so young, Life is so short & it can turn on a dime! Prayers to him & his family!

Very sad and hoping for a positive outcome. On a side note, from someone who edits documents for a living, please spellcheck before publishing an article. *with not whith

Doubt spell checking is the concern on this post? Not really right up there with the sadness of this particular board.

So right, Clh. It’s tragedies like this that should make us stop and realize what’s really important…critiquing spelling whilst reading of Nathaniel’s plight is beyond comprehension.

Our prayers and thoughts to Nate and his family, may God’s love bring you through this.

I met him a few times at different events in NYC. He was always charming and friendly with fans. I sincerely hope that he pulls through this!

Sending positive energy.

This breaks my heart. Met him once–what a charmer!!! Praying for a miracle. Love you NM!

So many times over the decades, when my soap addiction was in full swing and (sadly) all-consuming, I would agonize and worry over many plotlines and the predicaments of the characters for whom I cared. I was so wrapped up in the story, I invested so much energy, effort, time, and emotion. Even at this site, I will sometimes provide impassioned views on something I like or something I don’t like that is going on in the soaps. Bottom line: all of these efforts are just ridiculous…

What is happening in the life of Nathaniel Marston is REAL. He is a young man whose way of life has been altered forever. I was just one of many of his fans that enjoyed his work on OLTL. Usually, prayer is not a daily exercise for me, but I will make the effort now. My genuine prayers and thoughts go out to Nathaniel, his mother, and his entire circle of family and friends. What is happening in Nathaniel’s life is what is TRULY important. Please, God, let him recover…

You are the best, James. I wish I could hug you right now….just imagine it, ok?

Thank you so much, CeeCee. I have imagined your thoughtful hug, and I give you one in return. Please take care, Friend!

My prayers are with Nathan and his mom. A very hard to thing to face. God be with him and his family.

Give em hell Nate ,we want you Back ,love your spirit!
Fight ,Fight Fight.
love you

omg what or who did he hit to cause such horreific damage and how is the other guy if you dont mind me asking. gosh i feel so sorry for him being a fan and all.i hate hearing about my favorites being in trouble the hard way. did he loose control of his car or did some one else cause this or what?i have to know please.

‘Tracker’ Star Justin Hartley Reveals Melissa Roxburgh to Debut as His On-Screen Sister

Justin Hartley took to his Instagram this week, and introduced the latest cast member to his hit freshman drama, Tracker on CBS.

The former Y&R star where he played Adam Newman, now plays Colter Shaw on Tracker and in a few weeks time on the May 5th episode, viewers will be introduced to Colter’s sister, Dory.

Actress Melissa Roxburgh takes on the key role. Roxburgh is most-known for his role in Manifest. She has also appeared on Quantum Leap and Supernatural to name just a few of her other TV credits.

Photo: Gregorio Campos

In the episode entitled, “Beyond the Campus Walls”, the CBS series previews, “When a grad student goes missing after a house party, his friends and family believe he buckled under the pressure of his research grant. But, after consulting with his sister Dr. Dory Shaw (Roxburgh)— a professor at the school — Colter discovers a trail of explicit photos and messages that lead him to uncover a dangerous (and deadly) conspiracy on campus.”

Hartley’s post shared, “Colter finally reunites with his little sister Dory in the coming weeks. Join me in welcoming the lovely and talented @MRoxburgh to the @TrackerCBS family!”

Photo: JPI

The story of Colter Shaw’s family is a throughline throughout Tracker. We know from flashbacks, that Colter, Dory and their brother Russell had a not-conventional upbringing. Their parents Ashton and Mary were professors at Berkeley until something happened to Ashton. When his paranoia gets the best of him he leaves his family, but Russell went after him, and then later on Ashton is found dead, where all indications look like Russell pushed him.  Now in 2024, Russell contacted Colter telling him there is something he “needs to know.” However, Colter’s mom, Mary did not want her son engaging with Russell in any conversation and that was back earlier in the season after the second episode.

B&B’s Sean Kanan, Heather Tom and Lawrence Saint-Victor All Had Creative Hand in Sheila’s ‘Ten Toe’ Reveal

Bringing it from the page to the stage is the actor’s job on any theatre, television or motion picture project. In the case of The Bold and the Beautiful, longtime soap MVP, Sean Kanan, has been delivering some powerful performances as Deacon has become increasingly freaked out and obsessed with the fact, that in the crematorium, he saw that “Sheila’s” (Kimberlin Brown) body had ten toes, not nine.

Deacon now believes Sheila might be alive somewhere (given she only has 9 toes), and especially after seeing the communications between Sugar and Sheila on her laptop.

Then, on Monday’s April 15th episode of the CBS daytime drama series, Deacon says to himself (as he pours himself a drink), “Maybe Finn’s right. Maybe I’m losing it.” He flashes back to the crematorium, saying “Sheila had nine toes, but I saw ten on those feet.” He then utters, “Why Sheila? Why did you go to Steffy’s that night? And who the hell is sugar?”

Photo: JPI

While Kanan has played the only guy in town who thinks something is off here, he was ably assisted by two of his castmates. First, six-time Daytime Emmy-winner, Heather Tom (Katie) directed the episode where it was revealed that the woman’s body in the crematorium had ten toes.

Second, Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), wrote that ‘ten toe’ reveal episode, and he took to Kanan’s instagram and expressed, “I had a lot of fun writing this episode. (Sean Kanan) killed it!!!!”

Photo: JPI

Coming up later this week, Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) is back from Genoa City and The Young and the Restless and gets into a heated conversation about Sheila with Deacon. Stay tuned.

So, what do you think of Sean, Heather and Lawrence all using their creative talents to make the ‘ten toe’ reveal come to life? Comment below.
