It’s so sad that they can’t air the daytime Emmy on tv because of money ?? Yet one always heard how shows like the today show and gma are money makers for the networks, and all those talk shows where the host like Ellen don’t even bother to attend anymore. It’s pathetic really.

i am so upset about your not televising the soap opera daytime Emmys I’ve been watching all soap operas probably 45 yrs and now I can’t watch the awards very disappointed viewer

I’m not watching that junk..
Michael Fairman will post the winners and any upsets..
So- I’m fine ..

Congratulations to those who get to see and enjoy.. Have fun.. The daytime viewing audience keeping the final four going thank you in advance for your kind consideration of us.. I’m actually getting angry now lol.. At first it was like oh well.. Now it’s.. Heyyyy I’m one of millions of reasons why this is even happening

So hard to swallow this.. Remember when they were the happening event.. so much so that the networks rolled out special primetime soap episodes right before the awards I feel like Lost In Space Dr. Smith.. Oh the pain… Lol

“oh… the pain is real”

dag nab it ALL

3 things come to mind

1. Best Leading Actress… I’ve never been so torn .. in YEARS
I want a TIE . Kassie DePaiva and Mary Beth Evans for the WINS

2. Anthony Geary… will he be present… what will his LAST words be …?

3. I know… Best Serial…. I still think DAYS has nothing to lose… and may well be up to par…. at least… for the last part of 2015… August through Dec… no matter how the cast upheavals… was at the top of it’s game ON.

Days has won twice… 2 out of the last 3 years… so… I’m hoping

we’ll know the answers … in … 6 DAYS

BEST LEAD ACTOR (male) is also “tough” should AG be lauded for his contribution… and become … the most celebrated actor… in television… with 9 deserved wins? he’s tied with Chloris Leachman.. who has 8.

I truly want either Tyler Christopher or Justin Hartley

this just intensifies how ( a now show )… dissed it feels.. right?

When will they announce who is hosting? Did I miss that announcement?

Probably the warm up comic

It might be PHELPS and PRATT.. that ole comic duo.. Daytimes Stiller and Meara

Why isn’t it on TV? How disrespectful.

Low ratings is why the Daytime Emmy’s aren’t going to be on television.

Since we will not be able to view the ceremony — who needs to know who is presenting? Like: Here’s a list of presenters you won’t see, giving an award you won’t see, going to a daytime individual who you won’t see. Seems pointless to me. IMO this is just another indication of how little regard there is for daytime tv in general – not just the soaps. Maybe snippets will somehow end up on youtube in the days that follow the show. Any the emmy goes to……..

I could give a rats azz! They took the air out of the whole thing by not offering the viewers a chance to watch their favorite stars win gold. MF will cover the show and we will find out the winners AND losers and it will make for a fun couple of days of debating!

hey Timmm..
where it will be streaming-

Parachute TV (internet)
WATCH OUR CHANNEL;

PLEASE NOTE: We are excited to be live-streaming red carpet & behind the scenes coverage of the Daytime Emmy Awards.
We will NOT be covering the ceremony.

What channel will daytime soaps air on May 1?

It’s not on network tv it is on the internet..

Seems like the heads of daytime don’t really care about their daytime shows nor the audience that watches them. Show some respect to your fans and let us see the show on TV. What a STUPID move and bad message it sends to the daytime television audience and actors. No respect.

Once again I cannot see the awards show. Television has award shows all over cable and the Daytime Emmys are not worthy enough to be televised…..How pathetic is that…..

But yet they find money to air stupid. Trash music/ rap music awards

This week, DAYS head scribe, Ron Carlivati, confirmed that, and told Michael Fairman TV on the decision of the scripts the team submitted: “I like to have some humor, but it was also the funeral, and then there was Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) giving birth, and then Vivian’s (Louise Sorel) crashing the reading of the will.”
