THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Liam FINALLY Learns The Truth; Steffy Slept With Bill!
Thank God the cat is out of the bag!
After weeks of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stammering around in her guilt over sleeping with her husband’s father, and worried of the paternity of her baby, on Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, the truth came out, even though Liam (Scott Clifton) had to almost literally and figuratively drag it out of his wife! In story, Liam stumbled upon Steffy’s paternity test. She was happy, because it was revealed that Liam is the baby-daddy, not Bill (Don Diamont).
However, Liam grows more upset when confronting Steffy about this piece of paper, and why she would have a paternity test in the first place. Steffy tries to get out of that one, but Liam isn’t having it. In fact, Liam wanted answers.
When Steffy is cornered and tries to explain her behavior on the night she slept with someone else, (which happened after Liam admitted he kissed Sally), Liam is gut-punched thinking that Steffy turned to his brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) for comfort.
Steffy tells him that it was not his brother. He wants to know who! She finally tells him it was his father whom she had sex with. Now Liam is double gut-punched. The episode ends.
We can say that Scott Clifton gave a great performance in these scenes. But now, where does this all go from here? Will Steffy and Bill get back together? Will Liam accept this from Steffy when he learns it was consensual sex?
Watch the big moment from today’s episode after the jump and then weigh-in on the reveal, and what should happen next to Liam, Steffy and Bill in the comment section below.
Glad these scenes were finally played out. Now let’s get back to the Sheila story.
Sheila is too busy running for Congress here.
I heard about that. Happy for Kimberlin but really do miss Sheila. Lauren’s still gotta find out she never shot her arch nemesis all those years ago.
Oh brother, Kimberline doesn’t have a chance. We don’t need more whack a doodles in Congress. Michelle Bachman is also threatening to run for Senate….if she hears the call from God.
I can’t wait till tomorrow!!!
KA-BOOM……….
That sound you hear is me dry heaving. Eww!
Tomorrow episode is going to be has well can’t wait to see what Liam do to his dad and what comes after that
Punch him.
In totally agreement, about Dollar Bill!
Can’t wait for tomorrow episode and what Liam will do to his dad and what comes after that
Liam’s facial expression when he heard the news was amazing. Kudos to Scott. I don’t know where we go from here. That is absolute betrayal. I guess he should talk with Eric. That was a son betraying a father, but kinda the same realm.
Liam I think could have “gotten over” Steffy sleeping with Wyatt, but it will be really hard for him to move past Bill and Steffy. It’s hard for me too! 😉
I think Liam should kick Steffy to the Curb. Then go put his Fathers lights out. Cant wait to see.
I tuned it to that…i rarely watch this soap but will tune in for dramatic moments…thought he was going to have a stroke…it was a really good cliffhanger and Scott was great!!!
I agree..Liam’s face was pricelessly shocked, sad, full of the heartache of a double betrayal. (Scott Clifton is such a good actor; loved him as Dilon on GH…though I love Robert Palmer, too.)
I don’t think Liam will get over it; he’s probably going to wind up with Sally or Hope (who’s coming back).
Some people have been outraged at this story…a woman sleeping with her father-in-law. As I mentioned on another post…what’s so new about it in soapville? Nothing!
Carly slept with Tony (her mother’s husband on GH)
Sam slept with Rick (her mother’s husband on GH)
Ava slept with her daughter’s boyfriend on GH
Brooke married a father and both his sons on B&B
Brooke married her sister’s ex-husband
Katie is sleeping with her ex-husband’s son who is half brother to her son…
Steffie has slept with all three Spencer men.
LOL..all in the family to say the least!
And don’t forget, Brooke slept with her SIL, Deacon!
Ewwww!! This show needs to bring in characters who are not connected to the Forresters, Logans & Spencers. Talk about family relations!!
Very funny stuff, Rebecca! 🙂 🙂 🙂
And for so many of us, in-laws can be such a chore!
I am not outraged, just deeply sickened. I mean, can you imagine this happening in your real life? It’s just disgusting.
Mo…I didn’t watch back then but I looked it up quickly (didn’t have the time to read it too thorougly) but it seems Brooke was the mother of Deacon’s wife? And they slept together? LOL…at least she’s consistent!
Good one, Lew S! 🙂
Jamesj75…hahahha…it seems like in-laws on B&B are more about pleasure than work!
Hey, Chrystie-Delancey…I can’t imagine 99% of things that happens on soaps happening in real life…that’s why I watch them! 🙂 But not much of it shocks me…as I wrote above…nothing new for the genre.
And who can forget the infamous Brooke and Oliver sex-capade the night of Hope’s graduation party. And on a side note, if Kate and Wyatt should marry, he would be his half brother’s stepfather. Only on the soaps
The acting today with these two was phenomenal! Scott Clifton and Jacqueline Wood both deserve Emmys for their performances!
Hi Soaphound…And Thorne was stepfather to his brother Rick when he was married to Brooke!
Rebecca, Brooke not only slept with her daughter’s husband (several times), she had his child: Hope.
Bridget found out about the affair via a baby monitor.
Wow, Mo! Another Brooke fact I didn’t know…and STILL all in the family! That would mean that her daughter and her soon-to-be ex-husband’s (Bill) son (Liam) were in love. The tangled webs we weave never seemed more apropros!
Rebecca…more and more, you are BEYOND PRICELESS!!!!! Thank You. One thing, though: Over the years, Brooke has been married so many times…at this point, I wonder…if Brooke gets tired of getting fitted for, trying on and wearing wedding dress after wedding dress…lol.
Have a good one, Rebecca.
LOL, jaybird369! It IS B&B…and they’re in the fashion world. She might as well become the sole wedding dress model…combine business with pleasure!
Thank you for your words… 😉
oops! sorry, soapqueenforever! I was replying to you but called you soaphound instead. names are similar and I have replied to her often so it was “by memory” but apparently the wrong one! 😉
for one liam knows Steffy tried to kill herself over his dad Bill. Bill and Steffy think nothing of it, neither does Brook or Ridge.Brooke had a child with her daughters husband (hope) an all is suppose to forgive and look over that and still face each other everyday..she has 2 kids with Ridges father he is 1/2 brothers and their Stepfather.Katie had Bill Ridge and Bills son and I believe she is trying to seduce Thorn. How can yu have afamily and sit down to dinner and look around and see you wife has slept with every family member. What Holidays they must have
I think there’s something wrong with me that I’m enjoying this! What I like about B&B is that things usually play out fairly quickly. Stereotypical soap style would be to drag it out for years. It’s what makes B&B worth watching. Oh, I just remembered, a new Hope shows up any day now. I suppose Liam will get comforted by Hope and jump back to her (like Brooke jumps between Bill and Ridge – let’s have Brooke be without a man for awhile; not sure what they all see in her anyway – no offense to KKL – just can’t see why they’re so enamored).
Welll don’t worry they keep changing their accents Thorne & Ridge and making them younger sooner or later Brooke will be dating sperm. Ugh they need to sit Brad down and have a come to meeting and maybe get a new head writer he has really went crazy now I hear Carter still cares for Maya ? Where is Steffy’s mother???? Confide in Katie he is all over the place and this use to be a enjoyable show. Please tell me someone trying to keep a secret and you carry a paternity test in your purse?
LOL, k/kay!!! That is one of the funniest comments I’ve read on this site! “Dating sperm” hahahahhaa…
I’m thinking Carter and Maya may begin something and now that Zende (the actor) has left the show there might be a Rick/Nicole pairing…though it would seem ridiculous since Rick and Maya seem incredibly in love. If that did happen…it would be quite messy since Rick and Nicole are the biological parents of Lizzie…could get interesting.
Hi, Becky…I think the remaining soaps are all picking up the pace with their stories since the mass cancellation of the others. Seems to me they’re always prepared to have closure…just in case the worst should happen! I remember how fast they tried to tie things up when the others went abruptly off the air…I think they’re all covering their bases.
Also, perhaps that’s part of their changing with the times. People don’t like the long drawn out stories that were so popular back in the day…
This was by far a tour de force performance by Scott Clifton and I see him submitting these episodes for the 2019 Emmy season. I really felt Liam’s pain, anger and downright disgust that he unleashed at Steffy.
Perfect timing. Hope has been recast so she’ll be by to pick up the pieces shortly.
I was thinking the same thing. Hope will run to Liam’s side and be the loving, supportive friend he needs right now. I wonder if ivy will pop up and try to do the same. Only time will tell
They need to find someone for Ivy; she’s beautiful and actually nice! Would love to see her featured more.
Well I hope liam runs to Sally and I hope Thorn runs to Sally to work with her and they all Liam,Sally,Thorn make a bigger fashion house that Forrester Creations. And I wish Katie,Steffy,Brooke would stop playing the hollier than tho card and stop trashing others, and finaly see themselves as bad as they thnk others are.Because they are even worse.
I agree with you rebecca1 regarding Ivy, a very beautiful lady and I like the character.
Yes. Ivy needs and DESERVES somebody who has not been with every Forrester or Logan.
