THE TALK To Celebrate Y&R's 40 Years on Daytime With Special Episode!
The Talk will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of CBS’s #1 daytime drama The Young and the Restless on Monday, March 25th 2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT), with a special celebratory show featuring cast members Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman), Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman Abbott), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman), Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) and Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters).
The Y&R cast will join The Talk co-hosts in studio to discuss the legacy of the iconic show which has been the #1 daytime drama for more than 24 years. They’ll also look back on The Young and the Restless’ most memorable show moments, both on camera and behind the scenes.
After the completion of the live show, the actors will participate in a web-exclusive 30 minute Q&A titled “Keep Talking: The Young and the Restless Cast” with the show’s studio audience, made up largely of longtime fans of the soap. The Q&A session will be moderated by The Talk co-host Julie Chen and will be posted exclusively online later that day. For more information, visit TheTalk.com. Do watch Y&R occasionally so i was wondering why Katherine wasnt at Nikis wedding to Victor…thought they were always bffs…and why wasnt Jack Victors best man? Ok, i was kidding about the 2nd part.
Others have probably already told you this, but the reason Katherine wasn’t at the wedding is because she is having problems with her memory- and just forgot. When she realized it, she phoned Nikki to apologized.
Where is Sharon Case!!! She is the shows #1 money shot! Love Shadam! MCE as Chelsea does NOT belong on the show and NOT on the View! Only on a bus back to Pine Valley AMC as crazy Annie!

I am happy to see this but I want Sharon case with Adam on there. Enough of this Chelsea person! I heard she was going to be there she is not part of this show in my 35 years of watching the show
Chelsea is just plain boring…rarely watch scenes when shes on.
OMG OMG WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is Chelsea on with Adam. Sharon and Adam are the super couple next new Nikki and Victor of this show! It seems they have pairs on this show on the Talk. I WILL stop watching if this con Chelsea with this baby again stays on this show. I gave up B&B after 21 years because they took all my favorite couple off so now if Adam does not marry Sharon I am so done!!!
Why is Sharon not on with Michael! Chelsea should be off this show by now. They need Victoria Rowell back for Neil. The only couple I like is Phyllis and Jack and Sharon and Adam they have on the show
I love the celebration but Doug Davidson & Jeanne Cooper & Eric Braeden should have been on this they are long term veterans maybe it was a scheduling problem.

Sharon and Adam are the hottest couple on the show right now. Cane and Lily need something else going on. I sure do hope Dylan is Sharons brother from the same father. Nick well he and Avery are like Lily and Cane and Neil with Leslie just okay. WE NEED DRUCILLA BACK WITH NEIL and all her fire and spark!
They have all the wrong couples together right now. We need Drucilla back for Neil and Sharon to have Adams heir they are the next super Newmans
I will try to catch it—- hoping they show some good clips from past shows— so mad about the basketball preemption this week– now I will have to wait two whole days to find out if Victor or Adam got shot at the wedding reception.

Y&R always looked like the cover of a fine romance novel: Beautiful, intriguing with the promise of love and romance but when you open it up lately you find a completely different story than you expected. You hope a different author takes over, with a little more heart and soul and who cares enough for the fans, to continue the next chapter in the series and not disapoint us because we will stop buying their book and that would leave us sad and heartbroken over the loss of something that was once so wonderful and could be again.

51st Daytime Emmys: Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Receive Talk Show Host Nominations
On Thursday, nominations were announced in the Outstanding Talk Show category for the upcoming 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) coming off his first-year as co-host of ‘Live” with real-life wife, Kelly Ripa scored his first Talk Show Host nomination along with Ripa who has been nominated previous times.
Joining Mark and Kelly in the race are: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, The View
Kelly Clarkson, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, Sheryl Underwood, The Talk and

As previously reported, The Talk is coming to its end when its upcoming 15th and final season ends in December of 2024.
The 51st annual Daytime Emmys are slated to be broadcast and stream live on CBS and Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th

51st Daytime Emmys: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Nominations
On Thursday, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards revealed nominations in several key categories via four entertainment news programs: Access Hollywood, E! News, Extra and Access Hollywood.
Three of the four announcements were major categories in the field of Daytime Dramas.
The nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category are: The Bay, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Neighbours and The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital won this category last year, and has the most all-time wins for a series in this category. For the first time, the beloved Australian-based soap opera, Neighbours is now eligible for competition due to its reboot which streams on Amazon Freevee.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out in ceremonies in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th.
Previous categories announced tonight via the entertainment news outlet included: Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

51st Daytime Emmys: Tamara Braun, Finola Hughes, Katherine Kelly Lang, Annika Noelle, Michelle Stafford, Cynthia Watros Score Lead Actress Nominations
The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.
