Stupid

Good for you, CBS! I pray your are the broadcaster who can revive daytime dramas with one or two new programs some day. Oh, how I still miss ATWT and GL! I am pleased the Eye embraces the genre and the daypart with a solid ad campaign!

I’m glad they do things to promote their soaps.

I have never watched daytime tv… I can’t think of anything more dreadful lol ..
I was in an accident hospitalized..
my woman roomie watched Y&R and GH everyday and explained the players to me etc and I got hooked.
after release I watched both soaps on-line..

I do not want to see Nick with Chelsea, but I also do not want him to reunite with Sharon for the millionth time. Why don’t they mix it up a little? Stop with the repeat cycle and try Hillary out with Nick? Ravi should be romantically linked to Mariah, not Ashely–those two do not fit. Billy and Victoria also need to stop with the repeat cycle and find love else where.

Addison, I agree with what you wrote about Nick and Chelsea-boring and zero chemistry. Ravi and Mariah, ugh, that would give Mariah even more air-time and I find the actress/character to be really obnoxious. I love Ashley and agree that she has zero chemistry with Ravi-just ridiculous that someone like Ashley would be so protective of her employee. I could do without the train wreck of Billy’s life and Victoria-the actress has no chemistry with anyone, IMO & seriously, does she need to continue to remind two grown men that she is “the boss.” Give me a break.

Daytime is about the drama(s). Lose the game shows and talkies .

OMG! Someone got paid to make that promo and those stars actually said yes to be in it?!!

these poor performers….what a dumb and lame ass promo…..I’m Down that this gets pulled and never shown again….OMG CBS WTF!!!!!!!!!!

THERE IS A REASON…RATINGS ARE DOWN!

I love that commercial. Nice to see the network letting viewers know that there are still stars to watch during the day. Maybe not as big as Denzel or Julia but they’re still big names worth seeing every day.

Ratings are DOWN!

DONT WONDER WHY THE RATINGS AFE DOWN!

I do not understand why the ratings are down for Y&R. I do not fast forward through any of Y&R and today’s show (2/14-17) was pitch perfect. I loved Ashely thinking back about her father which was served up to us with flashbacks.
Jack is back to acting like ole smiling Jack and that’s good to see.
I have to amend my earlier post in which I said that I didn’t think Ashely and Rave fit. Today, those two won me over–Ravi is incredibly sweet and Ashely could use a little of that in her life right now. I also loved the flashbacks of Ashely and her father–fans love flashbacks which are older than a few monts! Victoria has turned into a shrew and Billy is trying to get her to become more self aware. This presents an interesting dynamic. Today, Jill locked a naked Colin out of the house and for a seventy-one year old man, I must say Tristan Rogers has a very nice physique.
I feel Y&R is getting it right and it is reminding me of what made me get hooked on soaps in the first place.
