It’s so great to know that soon we will be getting the opportunity to see the one and only Tristan Rogers back where he belongs as Robert Scorpio on General Hospital!  Rogers, who currently also stars in Gregori J Martin’s web series, The Bay, tweeted from the set at ABC Prospect today as he began his first day back on the lone ABC soap!

Tristan tweeted, “First day back in The Hospital. Feels ‘out-of-worldly’.  First air date would seem to be 2/29. Interesting date. It only appears every leap year. Just did blocking with John and Fin. Great vibe”

Of course, Tristan is referring in the last part of his tweet to working for the first time in a long while with on-screen brother John J. York (Mac), and on-screen long-time sparring and love partner, Finola Hughes (Anna)!

Are you looking forward to Tristan’s big return? Let us know!

Love that Tristan and Finola are coming back. I have been wanting Anna and Robert to come back for a while. Can’t wait to see their scenes, but I know that it’s going to be so sad to see Kimberly ( Robin go off the show).

Do you remember Robert Scorpio teamed up with Shawn Donneely!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Tristan and Finola. They have awesome chemistry with KImberly McCullough. I am so happy they are back. I cant wait to watch.

tristan rogers is back as robert scorpio. finally good news at last. emma samms finola hughes im so thrilled they are all coning back. please bring back jackie zeman as bobbie. she has history with the show. im so sick of sonny corinthos and the mob. get rid of the mob and kill of sonny for goom. maurice benard needs to go.

Word is this isn’t a temporary return for Scorpio. Maybe its time little bro steps down as commish and let big brother take back his rightful place as commisioner and clean up this town. Sonny and the mob are no match for Robert Scorpio!

Fabulous to have these two great actors back… With the trio from hell gone (Frons, Phelps, Guza), we are going to see the real Robert and Anna.. Their chemistry was always off the charts…

Yes! I am looking forward to Tristan’s return.

He has THE best Ozzie accent (Loved when he did Outback commercials) and was just so sad that they wasted him on Y&R. He really had chemistry with Jill (Jess Walton). Then again, he has chemistry with everyone.

Isn’t there anybody this guy doesn’t generate chemistry with? He had chemistry with every, single character he worked with on Y&R and then he turn around and had rocking chemistry with Mary Beth Evans on the Bay..Dude, is a chemistry magnet…

I couldnt agree more he has great chemistry with everybody he’s on screen with. looking forward to his return to GH. Will miss him with Jess Walton on Y&R there loss is GH’s gain.

he was awesome on y&r especially his chemistry with jess………..i really loved their story line

I LOVE THIS! GH needs a huge shot in the arm and the Scorpios will help this show. I’m surprised that Tristan even wants to come back to ABC especially with the way they’ve treated him but it is a new regime and a brand new day, so I am excited about this!

John McBain is moving to Port Charles too. Maybe Robert will be his new boss at the PD. They would be great together! Glad that Robert is returning! Wonder if they are going to make Robin dye from aids? Hope not! They could also bring back Tiffany and Shawn. Remember them too?

I am absolutely ecstatic that he’s back on GH again, I LOVE this guy and he was sorely missed and I hope the new writers has plans to put him right where he belong..In the PCPD…..Only Robert Scorpio can restore Law and order in that town…He was the best police commissioner port Charles ever had.

being a long time fan of tristan i am so looking forward to his return – can’t wait to see him…………..

Yes!!! Love Tristan and Finola and with John and Robin and now Rick… even better!

Soooooooo Excited. Fans have waited what seems a lifetime to have our Robert Scorpio back. To me he is the show. Without out him I don’t watch GH. Feb 29 will be my first day watching GH since Tristan left the building. When Scorpio leaves, so does this fan.

I can’t wait to have Scorpio back on my Screen.
I haven’t watched in years. He was great on YR too!
Too bad they wasted his talent. Just like Guza did back in the day. What these shows don’t understand is. Tristan is a fan favorite. We watch because of him.
Hello producers wake up and smell the talent.

I’ve been away from GH so long, now it feel funny going back to it but I am all set and ready for Robert comeback on the 29th. I’ll followed Tristan Rogers to any soap operas, prime time series, movies or web series he pop up on. I am a big fan of this guy. I love his work.

Yea!!! Robert’s back.

Hope this is long-term

Well, the announcement on his return said he’d be around not for a short stint but the “forseeable future” I hope that mean until they turn the light off on GH. Port Charles need Robert Scorpio and he should never leave again..

Excited… This word does not describe how happy, that I am that Tristan’s back on GH.

Can’t lie! Disappointed that Robert, Anna, Noah and others returning are doing so now when Robin(Kimberly is leaving) dies. Robin shared scenes with these greats & it won’t be the same without Robin there. Don’t get me started on RC saying he couldn’t fix Robin’s exit and has her dying.

I came to GH and stayed because of Scorpio. The mob thing forced me away. I loved GH:NS2’s way of restoring Robert’s trashed character (or lack thereof), and putting the family back together. With the new guys coming in to write, I’m hopeful that they’ll give our vets the same chance to shine. But we’ve been fooled before by how vets are trotted through a ratings period and then disappear into think air. It would be a continued crime against Scorpio fans to see him just a part of the 80’s parade when his permanent return is so very needed. As GH comes to a close in Sept. we need our real heroes back to stay and bring down the Guza’s pseudo-heroes Sonny & Jason. If GH is going to die, may it have the chance to return to its former glory and shine.

I hope that Scorpio and the other vets stay on the show. I want Bobbie and Lucy back too. I wish we could get Felicia and Frisco back too and of course Alan Q. I know I am greedy but we can dream!

Well, I can’t see them finally getting Tristan Rogers back and not keeping him to the very end…Seriously, this is Robert Scorpio we’re talking about..Storyline possibilities are endless with him in town!!

Oh, Yes Sire Ree! I am so excited that I just canot hide it! ( A Pointer Sisters referance here. ) WELCOME HOME TRISTAN ROGERS! This 30-Plus Year fan of Yours is over the Moon with happieness and joy that You are bringing the greatest Male Character in the History of General Hospital Home! ROBERT XAVIER SCORPIO. NO other Actor or Character has ever had the same level of impact on General Hospital’s canvas as You and Robert did. I agree with al of the above posts. GENERAL HOSPITAL needs YOU. PORT CHARLES needs ROBERT XAVIER SCORPIO to restore Law And Order to the Mob Ruled Town/City! THANK YOU so much TRISTAN ROGERS. You are the best to Your fans!

Lori, you said it all..,,TR/Robert Scorpio is needed in Port Charles..I’m getting giggly thinking about the many fun things that can happen in Port Charles now that Robert’s back.

It makes me sad because of Robin and if she dies. I want KM to be able to pop in when she can. I also don’t think Patrick/Emma will do well. It kind of makes me bummed. But if they go there they do need to bring them in briefly for the storyline.

Love that Tristan is coming home! Equally thrilled about Emma’s return. I have always loved Holly and Robert. Hope the writers make Ethan a Scorpio, but don’t kill he or Holly off!

I just read that Tristan is only coming back for 6 episodes!!! I haven’t watched GH since the last time they brought Tristan back. I have only tuned back in this week because Tristan and Finola were returning. But once again I’ve been disappointed by GH! The show might not be in trouble if they would actually keep the characters that fans want to see! I will watch Tristan’s episodes, and be reminded of how great GH USED TO BE. I will then get annoyed when Tristan is gone…and tune out again! Good job GH, you screwed it up again! Somebody should just pull the plug on this show and end it. Obviously the powers that be want the show over. Scorpios rock!

Since both Holly and Anna are alive, who the heck is Robert legally married to?
