There is a new face coming to Genoa City, who according to CBS Soaps In Depth will be connected to someone in the town! But who will it be?

Actress Alice Greczyn has been cast in the role of Emma, who is reportedly a young woman who works at Genoa City Memorial Hospital.

The role is said to be recurring, and Greczyn will first be seen on-air sometime in early September on the number one CBS soap opera.

Alice’s other credits have included: The Lying Game, Make It Or Break It,  and Privileged.

So, who will Emma know in Genoa City? Comment below!

I really liked her on the lying game. She could give Lily run for her money with Cane!

Am sure she will be sleeping with Victor by Christmas. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if a “Who’s the Daddy?” storyline unfolds in the spring involving her Victor and Noah.

Oh, great – first we get “FOJ” (friends of Jill) popping up on “Y & R” and we get “FOP” (friends of Pratt)?!?

THE LYING GAME was another lame attempt by Pratt to create an hour-long drama on cable – didn’t last long and now we’re going to be subjected to castoffs from his prime-time abortions?!?

Thinking she will have something to do with Neil and them probably something to do with Malcolm.

Most likely she is some long lost relative of Katherine’s and she will be romantically linked to Stitch. Stitch is badly suited for Abby and I am sorry, his pairing with Ashely is just odd and borderline creepy.

Amendment to my original comment–I think she is the sister of the soldier who served in Afghanistan and who died. He was Stitch’s patient and today he said he was going to notify his next of kin.

Hi dear Harry..
I believe you are correct, yes!…
She even matches with his family characteristics- hair, eyes..

My first thought was she might be related to Victor’s manservant that used to be at the ranch years ago– Miguel. He left the ranch in 2008 to help take care of a sick aunt, maybe Emma is her daughter–Miguel’s niece. Or maybe Marissa will turn out to be related to Miguel. Because if they are going to have newbies it would be nice if they could tie them to the history of the show. Speaking of Marissa, does anyone else have this sick feeling there is a Marissa-Victor hook up coming down the pike? Brrrr gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Mary–like your idea better than mine. I loved Miguel and was just thinking about him.
Yes, the sickening thought of Victor hooking up with Marrissa did cross my mind when she told him that she was raised in an orphanage. Did you see Victor’s face perk up? Considering that he’s old enough to be her grandfather (just like Jack and Marco) and she is romantically involved with his grandson, it would be especially troubling.
PS> I like the actress who plays Marrissa–she’s easy on the eyes and her acting is not half bad. She reminds me of a younger Eva Longoria, who also got her start on Y&R.

Oh goodness, yes. I saw Victor’s lips get even more moist when she told him she was an orphan. And that thought crossed my mind and then I thought: no. The lowest of the low was him marrying Sharon who was like a daughter to him for years, not to mention his actual daughter-in-law. To have Victor compete with his GRANDSON for a woman would be a whole new level of science fiction/fantasy that I’m not sure I could sign up for. Like you, Harry, I like Marisa and I think her acting is better than that of some other newbies we have seen. I would like Victor to take his eyebrows, his mustache and his moist lips….on a long business trip. Far, far away.

It doesn’t matter who she will be connected to..
If she is not a Newman or Abbott she will be near insatiable ..

Great, Just what the show needs, 2 more newbies (They signed a new actor also) -Whose airtime will they be at the expense of this time? I wonder if she may be related to Sage. Just what we need more family of hers to keep her in Genoa City.

Totally agree, Vicki!

Sage may be one of the most boring characters in dayitme. She has zero personality. I fast forward through all of her scenes.
Of course the head writer earns more revenue for characters that he or she created which is why so very often core characters are ignored by new writers.

So true, Harry. Sage is so completely bland and her pairing with Nick
is ridiculous, too. Like you, I also FF Sage. When I see her, I always
am like Why? Why is she there?? And too many core characters are not.

Nanci, the other day Sage freaked out when there was a fly in her room and Nick saved the say by swatting it with a fly swatter. Both Sage and Nick just stared at the dead fly as if it represented something.
That was the most riveting scene in which Sage participated thus far.
Previews showcase Sage trying to clean the streaks off her glass sliding glass door and she cannot figure out if the streaks are inside or outside. She becomes hysterical and somehow blames Adam….or Windex.
Stay Tuned! Sage is as exciting as my robo vacuum. No, I take that back–my robo vacuum is far more exciting.

LOL, Harry! You are hilarious…I cracked up reading that, especially Sage
with the glass sliding door…totally got a visual of Sage in that whole scenario!

The only fly in ointment of that theory is Pratt didn’t create Sage, Altman did. What Pratt did was change Sage from a mastermind con artist who used Bingham money to make Adam Gabe so she could collect the fortune to Suzy Sunshine who wants nothing more than to be barefoot and pregnant in Nick’s kitchen.

The same thing happened to Avery. MAB created her to be a tough as nails lawyer with an ax to grind and Griffith came along and made her Betty Crocker 2.0

It is really sad when female writers create strong and powerful women, just to have a male writer turn them into helpless damsels in distress who want nothing more out of life than to be with the man they love–

So if Sage is dull as dishwater it is only because it seems male soap writers are stuck in the 50’s in their portrayal of women or else rumors of JFP hatred of smart intelligent female characters has overrule every writer desire to move female characters on the the soap into the present century

All Pratt writes for on women is nuts or sluts!

She is Sharon’s doppelganger’s daughter who will mistake Sharon as the doppelganger. She is going to replace Sharon’s medication with placebos! Sharon will go for treatment in the psychiatric hospital where her doppelganger works!!!

I see her being Marisa’s younger sister.

When I first saw her picture, my thought was that she looks very similar
to Marisa.

If Pratt was going to pull someone from Lying Game it should have been Christian Alexander as the new Fenn.

Hi K/Kay,
Trying to find a bright spot of some women not nuts or sluts,
and I did have to think hard actually, lol. But we do at least
have Chelsea, Jill, Lily, Phyllis, Mariah, Victoria, and Marisa who don’t
act nutty or slutty. Those are the only ones who come to mind!

Lisa Rinna Would Be Down to Reprise Her Role of Taylor McBride in ‘Melrose Place’ Reboot

When Lisa Rinna departed her popular role of Billie Reed on Days of our Lives back in 1995, her next major role would be a jump to primetime and the soapy Melrose Place.

In 1996, Lisa was introduced as new character Taylor McBride and stayed with the Fox young adult sudser for three seasons. Now in 2024, with the recent reveal that a Melrose Place revival is the works with Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton all on board to reprise their signature roles, would Rinna board the project should it come to fruition?

Speaking with PEOPLE, Rinna expressed, “Well, gosh, I’ve heard about it. I haven’t been approached or anything, but I would love to see what Taylor McBride is up to 25 years later. Wouldn’t that be something?”

Photo: FOX

OG Melrose Place fans know that in story, Taylor moved to the Melrose Place apartment building with her husband Kyle played by Rob Estes. However, Taylor had her eye on Dr. Peter Burns played by former GH star Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco). But, by the time she had moved to the apartment complex, Peter had married tough as nails ad executive, Amanda Woodward, played by Heather Locklear.

Recalling her time on Melrose Place, Rinna added that it, “was one of my greatest and most fun acting experiences, playing Taylor and working with Heather and the whole crew.”  Rinna also noted, “So if they need a Taylor McBride appearance, they know who to call. I’m around.”

The new Melrose Place is in development at CBS Studios. In the premise of the reboot, the Melrose Place residents reunite after the death of one of their friends, “but the pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”

So, would you want to see Lisa Rinna reprise her Melrose Place role as Taylor McBride? Comment below.

Sean Kanan’s Stepdaughter, Juliet Vega, to Appear on The Bold and the Beautiful

Coming up on this Friday’s April 26th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Juliet Vega, the stepdaughter to Sean Kanan will make an appearance on the CBS daytime drama series in the role of Michele.

Keeping it “All in the Family”, the character is named after Juliet’s real-life mother, and Kanan’s wife, writer and producer, Michele Kanan.

Back in 2012, Sean married Michele Vega and thus began their blended family which included his daughter, Simone, and Michelle’s children, Peter, Gigi, and her twins, Annie and Juliet.

According to a B&B show spokesperson, Juliet’s B&B character is intentionally named Michele in honor of her mother and Sean’s wife.

While we don’t know how “Michele” shows up in story, it is the same episode that Clint Howard makes an appearance as well seemingly tied to the case of where in the world is Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)?

Photo: CBS

We can’t imagine that Juliet wouldn’t get the opportunity to mix it up on-screen with her stepdad, Sean Kanan. Previously, the two acted together in Sean’s streaming series Studio City, where she played the role of Delilah and he played soap actor, Sam Stevens. In it, Delilah is the bio-daughter Sam never knew he had.

So, looking forward to seeing Juliet on B&B and how ‘Michele’ turns up in the story? Comment below.
