Y&R and Criminal Minds Star Shemar Moore Has Over $60,000 Stolen From Him By Former Guest-Star Turned Business Partner!

The Young and the Restless Daytime Emmy-winning Shemar Moore (Ex-Malcolm), who went on to star for 11 seasons on Criminal Minds as Derek Morgan was in a courtroom in San Fernando, California on Wednesday of this week. It all happened because of an actor who guest-starred on two episodes of the CBS procedural drama back in 2013, who pleaded no contest to charges that he stole more than $60, 000 from Mooore! According to the L.A Times: actor Keith Tisdell, 42, agreed to repay Moore, 46, the sum of $61,084.
Prosecutors charged that Tisdell took the money after he befriended Moore when they appeared in the same Season 8 episode. Tisdell was playing a character named Rodney Harrison. Shemar told the judge ahead of the sentencing of Tisdell that, “In bringing that story to life, we became friends. … We went into business together.”
That business Moore is referring to is none other than Shemar’s famous Baby Girl LLC, which sprung out of Moore’s favorite catch-phrase on Criminal Minds, “Baby girl”. However, Baby Girl LLC was started as a charity to help battle multiple sclerosis, a disease from which his mother suffered. Tisdell was involved with the organization. Records show he was arrested on suspicion of embezzlement in January but ultimately admitted to grand theft.
During their friendship, Moore said he bought Tisdell $10,000 rims for his car, funded shared overseas vacations and gave him up to $20,000 to help with expenses. When an audit revealed cash from the organization was missing, Moore confronted Tisdell, who denied stealing the money, the actor said in court.
Shemar went on to say before the sentencing: “I’ve done a lot for him because he had me, my friends fooled. I’m not here for money. I’m here because he betrayed a friendship. This is not OK. You don’t do this to people.” In the end, Tisdell’s attorney gave Moore $5,000 worth of money orders. Tisdell has to repay about $56,000 in the near future, or he could end up in jail.

My God—I feel so bad for Shemar. Nobody deserves this and how he got trampled on is a crying shame. I have had the same done to me but not to the extreme that was done to Shemar. I am glad he will have some closure to this I hope.

It’s a shame. Glad Shemar took him to court. It is not okay to do that. Shemar did a lot for him, was a very generous friend, and Tisdell took advantage of that.
How long does he have to repay the money? I doubt he’ll be getting other acting jobs.

You must be referring to comments on other sites or your friend, family and neighbors.
Maybe people think that because there isn’t much documented dating history between Shemar and women. Or is it because he so easily trusted a man with so much of his money? Could it be because he’s been seen with the thief many times at different places? Possibly the concern is Shemar paid the man’s living expenses and had shared vacations together?
For whatever reasons you or others have for suspecting him of possibly being gay, why would you be praying for him to not be gay? He is what he is already. Praying won’t change his sexual orientation.

51st Daytime Emmys: Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Receive Talk Show Host Nominations
On Thursday, nominations were announced in the Outstanding Talk Show category for the upcoming 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) coming off his first-year as co-host of ‘Live” with real-life wife, Kelly Ripa scored his first Talk Show Host nomination along with Ripa who has been nominated previous times.
Joining Mark and Kelly in the race are: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, The View

As previously reported, The Talk is coming to its end when its upcoming 15th and final season ends in December of 2024.
The 51st annual Daytime Emmys are slated to be broadcast and stream live on CBS and Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th

51st Daytime Emmys: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Nominations
On Thursday, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards revealed nominations in several key categories via four entertainment news programs: Access Hollywood, E! News, Extra and Access Hollywood.
Three of the four announcements were major categories in the field of Daytime Dramas.
The nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category are: The Bay, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Neighbours and The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital won this category last year, and has the most all-time wins for a series in this category. For the first time, the beloved Australian-based soap opera, Neighbours is now eligible for competition due to its reboot which streams on Amazon Freevee.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out in ceremonies in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th.

The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.
