ABC Developing Real Life Version of "General Hospital"!

Now where is this going to ultimately land … that is the question? The New York Post is reporting that a real life version of the soap opera, General Hospital is being filmed at a Los Angeles Hospital with real life doctors and nurses!

Apparently, the show has been quietly taping recently at the famed UCLA Medical Center, a spokesman for ABC confirmed.  The show is in its “earliest, pilot stages,” said the official and is intended “either for syndication or maybe cable.”

According to sources, the projected series in develop will follow the private as well as working lives of white coats at the hospital.  The NY Post went on to say: “ABC has been experimenting a lot with daytime TV in the past few years — trying to see if new kinds of shows can replace the age-old menu of talk, soaps and game shows.   It succeeded with The Chew, but failed with The Revolution.”

“The idea of shaping the reality format for daytime TV has been kicked around by TV producers for a while now — though it’s rarely been tried.  NBC re-cut existing episodes of the “Real Housewives” franchise for an afternoon soap two years ago — but couldn’t make it work.  More importantly, if ABC were to syndicate the as-yet-untitled hospital show, it would have to make room somewhere in its daytime schedule.   The only syndicated show it currently airs is Katie Couric’s new talk show — which ABC also owns.”

OK soapers, what do you think of this – a reality GH?   We would rather see the actors, who play the doctors and nurses, on the soap real lives in a reality format as an adjunct piece to GH than this!  How about you?  Let us know!

We get enought reality in our own lives thank you. What we want is scripted dramas with actors so we can escape from real life for a little while. LEAVE GH JUST THE WAY IT IS.

All I can say is good grief to this idea. Only a network that specializes in shallow programming (besides the real GH we know and love) would come up with this wizard of an idea. I wouldn’t want to know how much they pay the genius that came up with this one. I do not watch reality TV. It is not representative of my reality. And it is hopefully not representative of the realities others strive for in life!

I totally agree with Joan…..

Is this ABC’s way of cancelling “General Hospital”?

I think it is. They keep proving over and over again that they do not give a rat’s ass about what the fans want. We have had NO guarantees of General Hospital going past their anniversary in 2013.

If they cancel General Hospital I will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER watch anything on ABC again.

LMAO! First they want to cancel GH, now they want to do a reality show like GH-give me a break. It’s not going to work, Michael you said they succeeded with The Chew…..it sucks. It’s only on because they don’t have anything else to put in its place. They cancel OLTL and they just keep going down, down, down! Only GH is now on and many of us OLTL & AMC fans are still boycotting stupid ABC. I only want GH with the actors/actress and bring OLTL characters into the show and make it 2 hrs. Don’t watch anything else.

Thanks for the clarification, I was thinking REALLY?? They succeeded with the Chew?? NO WAY.

Sorry, re-reading it yes it was the NY Post that said that, not Michael. I just scanned the article too fast.

I will not watch anything on ABC except GH idiots

I am so tired of so-called “reality” television. That’s all I can say really.

So am I !!!!!!!!!!!

Why in the name of all that is holy would anyone want to see more reality television?

AGREE 100%. BRING BACK OUR SOAPS!

I wouldn’t…I don’t like this idea at all!!!!

Really??? We’ve seen plenty of reality TV with such shows as the 1971 show, The American Family, The Real World, Cops, Changing Rooms, etc. This will not be any different.

ABC is just trying to frame Reality GH as a daytime soap to sell it to the soap fans. I don’t think it will work.

‘REALITY’ NOT! Every one knows those shows are still produced, edited, and cut , just to make certain things ‘look’ a certain way. OMG
Stop screwing around with DAYTIME, ABC cus you do not know what your doing. Never should have canceled your AMC and OLTL {in my opinion one of the BEST SOAPS EVER, AND I WAS A CBS GAL! } and put on stuff like the chew. The one minute of that I watch at the end, because Ive turned over for GH . . you can tell even the hosts of the show seem uncomfortable ON THE SET. My market did not even pick up KATIE. which tells you something. I have never even seen that show, wich I would never watch either. rrrr my rant is done.

AGREE with every word you said, vik.

Oh hell no!!! If ABC wants to alienate millions of GH fans, this would be the way to do it. We have have about all we can take and this would be the last straw!!

Can’t even believe someone thought this was even a good idea….

It seems to me they are thinking with their wallets and not their heads, otherwise how do you explain them disregarding the audience they have for a proven product, to replace it with a different product that may or may not appeal to anyone? It made no sense to me back in 99 when NBC cancelled Another World to try out a different soap Passions- but at least it was a soap. This makes even less sense. They say now that they would put this reality show on cable or syndication but I think they are testing the waters for a way to have a cheaper, poorer quality product to replace scripted daytime drama and if that happens I will not be there to watch it.

WELL SAID!

No way! Not interested in watching it.

LOVE my GH as a story! Oh No Please not reality!

If you’re home laid up or.sick the last thing I want to watch is other people sick or injured. If I want to watch reality the t.v. will be shut off and I’ll do bills.

ABC, seriously you do this “reality show” with the #GH name instead of bringing back #AMC and #OLTL? What the hell!?!?

Not interested… love my GH!

Really ABC? I don’t think they have learned their lesson yet, they think the soap fans are going to watch that? What part of we want our soaps do they not get? The daytime viewers are smart and are not going to fall for that especially if it replaces our last soap! I am a nurse and I do not want to sit home on my off shifts and watch what I live at work on a daily bases only made to be UNreality on my tv screen! I hate reality tv and watch other things in the evening on cable, like movies or lifetime and the hallmark channel! I refuse to watch anything on ABC except GH and the occational sports game…….not after the total disregaard to their daytime viewers

No more reality shows ABC. That’s not what people want to watch. GH has been coming up in the ratings, let it keep going.

Reality is shoved up our *#%! 24/7. The last thing I’m interested in is yet another “reality” series. Other than GH, I don’t tune in to ABC programming any longer anyway.

I guess this is the ‘writing on the wall.” I watch GH and Days. During any given week, these shows are interrupted by not only national news, but local news….weather…car accidents, anything and everything. The shows are left with maybe 10 minutes, airtime. Enough of this…and I see fans walking away. Back in the day, the shows were only interrupted for really important news. Not anymore. The soaps are considered the lowest in the TV genre. It is a shame. I love my shows.

I know, is totally unfair considering some of the BIGGEST stars in Hollywood had their start on daytime drama. I really would like some of the night time shows try to do what daytime does, produce a quality show 5 days a week for almost the entire year, and do that for 25 plus years. You would think they would show the genre a bit of respect, but somehow daytime drama can’t lose that stereotype that it is an inferior product watched only by bored housewives who have nothing better to do. This was never the truth, but it is out there and networks don’t respect the genre, they don’t respect the fans that have been loyal to the genre for years and made them a boat load of money in the process. It is as you said a real shame.

GH being pre-empted locally is a frequent problem that my home city has too. Some really important episodes in recent months weren’t aired by the ABC affiliate–and within the last 6-9 months, there was even one week where only Monday’s and Tuesday’s episodes were aired. Luckily, I have SoapNet and a DVR that automatically records its GH repeats, but a LOT of viewers don’t have that option. Every pre-emption increases the chances someone’s going to just stop watching, either because it breaks their “habit” of tuning in or they’re just so frustrated they stop bothering.

Seeing that I only watch ABC for GH not interested. God help ABC if they cancel GH for more reality crap!

I believe this is what ABC intended to replace GH with
after their 50th anniversary in April. This reality show will be cheaper to do, and they mistakenly think fans will watch cause it has a medical theme like GH. I have never believed that ABC has done anything for GH other than lip service while they make their replacement show plans. I wont believe anything else till I see GH with a new extended contract.

Thats it, after thier failed attempt at that show they put on after the chew..I cant even still remember the name! ha…theyve been trying to think of another way to take off GH with yet another ‘talk, reality’ show . Like you say, cheaper to do..who cares about what the people watching want? Theyre getting out of the soap biz and couldnt care less about us.

Oh please tell me this is a joke. You have to be kidding. ABC would make a big mistake by getting rid of GH. The show is on fire now, and if they cut it, they’ll lose many viewers. The Revolution failed, and this will too. Too many reality shows, too little soaps. ABC cancelled another good show, Last Resort. I will not be watching that channel anymore.

This is a waste, bring back AMC & OLTL.

Are you kidding me ?
NO,NO,NO !!!
The LAST THING I would want to see is a real life medical drama , set in real time , depicting not only the working lives ,but personal lives of doctors as well ?
ENOUGH really !!
I don’t watch REALITY TV as is….. GH is good enough for me !!!

ABC/D still thinks that they can dictate what viewers should be watching. No more reality shows, no more cooking shows, no more talk shows, and no more “fix us up” shows. Cable has become my daytime venue and will continue to be what I watch until they (ABC/D) provide the kind of programming that the viewers want.

I am so sick of these reality shows. There’s too many alrady!! They are coming out the wazoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like GH just the way it is………… Don’t want anymore CRAPPY REALITY SHOWS.. This would really alienate a lot of us soap fans..This is the most crappy idea I ever heard of !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t want this to happen . ABC is out of their mind..I miss OLTL & AMC.BECAUSE of these reality/talk /info our beloved soaps were cancelled. So say definitely NO on this reality crap idea !!! NO WAY !!!!!!

This idea really pisses me off!!! Leave well enough alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF THIS REALLY HAPPENS I WILL NEVER WATCH ABC AGAIN

Me TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They can take their reality show and stick it where the sun don’t shine.

DITTO!!!!!!!!!!

GH is doing very well at 2pm… ABC clearly doesn’t go by (or care about) ratings one bit if they’re really thinking of replacing GH with this…

Another Grey’s Anatomy, House, or any other medical show??? We don’t know these so-called doctors and nurses, so as far as we’re concerned, it’s another drama. Now, let me get this straight, UCLA is allowing a reality show to be taped at their facility? Fairly irresponsible I would say.
For my money, I don’t think it would work. In any case, ABC better leave GH right where it is. The new writers have done a great job, and the ratings are great. Don’t be poking around for something to replace it.

Oh, and just 2 more cents…I do not like the Katie show at all…I’d be game for them trying it in place of her.

i agree with everybody here we dont want reality tv show not ever as our beloved show and name under GH i mean we got enough reality with our own family to watch MTV BS and now ABC BS Show i mean ABC did we not make it clear with you show name the revolution aka now the deadolution soon to be katie aka dead o couric we dont want talk show want show like AMC GH As it is and OLTL not show with girl and guy on tv partying and dranking like on MTV i mean MTV stand for Music video but it like MTV Reality girl and guy saying i am gay or les or it ok to do drugs and it ok being pregnet at 16 i mean what is that if you want to we go out to the street to see it go to school to see people right i mean ABC if you this what you send to kids how are you a family or a kids program i dont want my kids to grow up watching that i mean we have enough of that in ours home as it is and reality show teach kids to bully were trying to stop bully not create it i mean that what mtv is doing now abc your doing it i mean take at your hero miley strong on dope abc stop this now peaple i mean show like OLTL AMC and GH as it is it show reality as it is in the real word with death with sickness and more

OMG! Please DON’T be a BIGOT!!! Defend your soap but please STOP disparaging others. It’s a reality show about set in a hospital not about gays/lesbians, teens, etc. You’re totally OT. BTW BIGOTS SUCK!!! I agree GH should NOT be canceled for a crappy reality show, but posts like yours do nothing to help the cause.

Matt I guess you read code because to be quite honest I could not figure out what the heck John was saying. lol

K/Kay

It wasn’t easy! I like to think most soap viewers are the kind of people I’d like to have for neighbors. Sadly my neighbors don’t watch soaps, but they do spend a LOT of time watching their neighbors. ‘Nuff said! LOL

abc we us soap fans let the chew slide with you getting few gh people going there but u take gh off and replace it as a reality gh show u watch what happen to you network then and your show katie and the chew watch what happen when the real GH goes bye abc u be beggin us to come back but we wont come back and we be waiting intill your network crash then when that happen abc we be there to pick the peace then we will take over and then get what we want our shows back as they are like oltl and amc and gh so abc do what you want and want your empire fall

You mentioned bullying in your previous post. The best way to STOP bulling is to teach your kids to respect others and not be a bigot. Bullies aren’t born, they’re usually “raised” by parents/guardians who allow it or “mirror” it in their own behaviors. Bigotry is a form of bullying: Bigots think no one else has the “right” to exist but God (if you are a believer) made us ALL. Reality shows may not have to exist. Period. But people have to live in the real world — and not everyone is just like YOU. Respect yourself and others despite their differences. Sometimes bigots exist because they fear “reality” (or change), and sadly some bullies exist for the SAME reason.

Who wants reality hospital? As grateful as we are to all of our great hospital care, we can’t wait to get out of them. Right now General Hospital story lines are great, but after the 50th…I just don’t trust ABC. And like most of you commenting, except for GH, I have also boycotted ABC for OLTL and AMC cancellations.

we don’t need a nother reality show !!!!!!!!! what we want is AMC and OLTL back on abc!! why don’t they listen to us ? i guess we do not count they do not care about us if they did they would listen to all of us!!! i say BOYCOTT ABC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won’t be watching this. I’m sick of reality TV.

ABC/D are out of their MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won’t watch this. Real hospitals make me sick! LOL Seriously, my eyes will be elsewhere because I don’t find people being sick entertaining. My enjoyment just does not work that way. Right now I am watching less network TV than ever, but I do watch a few select programs and my soaps. I DVR a lot and watch online as well. GH shouldn’t have to die for this reality hospital mess.

The best way to stop this right now since it’s in it’s “Earliest pilot stages” is to flood ABC with E-Mails, Phone Calls, Letters and whatever else you can do to tell them you want them to keep GH on the air. Tweet abc, post on their facebook and do whatever you have to do. I just got done sending ABC an email telling them that we do not want GH to be cancelled. I said viewers haven’t enjoyed GH this much since the 1980s and we all want GH not another reality show. I also informed them GH is the #1 show in daytime in Women 18-34 and #2 in Women 18-49 (beating their precious shows The View and The Chew). I was just discussing GH with someone the other day and said that they are loving GH again and if Laura came back it would be perfect. I do not want any other talk, game, or reality shows I want soap operas in the afternoon. I am sick to death with all the trash shows that are Steve Wilkos, Maury, Jerry Springer, Dr. Phil etc. Please let ABC know that we want our GH on the air!

Does anybody at ABC/D EVER listen to what their daytime viewers are saying? I guess not, since they cancelled AMC and OLTL anyway. GH is the only reason many viewers even turn that channel on anymore, and now there’s this pathetic reality show that might replace it. No freaking way is this a good idea. Just when I thought that ABC/D couldn’t be more insulting to its audience than it already has been………

This idea is an insult to the loyal soap viewers ABC/D had for over 40 years and more…
This is really a STUPID IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!! ABC/D gets their ideas out of a cracker Jacks Box..
I really think they do. I can’t stand all these reality/info/talk/cooking shows…We have so many of these kind of shows on already…We don’t want anymore! Especially on daytime programming…We want our escape in the afternoon. We want our stories! this is ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!! The suspense, love.heart-warming stories . We want to laugh, cry with our beloved GH actors & actresses…Again that’s a VERY STUPID IDEA…
Pure crapola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It won’t work. There is a reason we watch the soap genre … to escape from over everyday lives. Reality TV isn’t the same. We as viewers are inundated with so much reality TV that it is too much. ABC needs to realize that viewers tune into GH because it is fictional, we have history with the show and with the characters and that we want to escape from reality for am hour a day. If I want reality medical dramas, I’ll tune into TLC. When I want to watch cooking shows, I tune into ‘the food network. I tune into ABC daytime each day to see GH, just like I did with OLTL and AMC. No other shows will replace them for me and I will atop tuning into ABC. Instead of AMC, I watch Y&R. ABC is easily replaced if they won’t understand why viewers tune into their daytime line up and provide programming we want to see unique from cable networks and reality fare.

ABC/D had loyal soap viewers for over 40 years or more…Soap fans kept ABC/D goin
all those years.. Soap fans kept ABC/D popular T V. station..Leave our GH alone & we like it just the way it is……Change isn’t alway’s the solution ! Keep on what has kept the
viewers interested all these years OUR STORIES!!! The soap fans kept ABC/D going & on top all these years! This idea makes no sense to me! Give me a break!!!!!

ABC is dead to me except for GH. Since Kelly and Michael are on CBS where I live I watch that. But my tv and DVD recorder are off the rest of the day. The way ABC is going during the daytime TPTB will be on the unemployment line like so many other people. People are sick of reality shows, they are scripted anyway. Daytime tv was a way to escape from every day life and enjoy watching a fantasy one. If ABC goes with this “new GH” say bye to the viewers because we’ll be watching other networks.

for what purpose? for a daytime show or a night time show? If for daytime, what show is this replacing?

If for night time, sounds like the hospital show w/Dr. Oz’s hospital, which seems fine the way it is now.

this could never replace General Hospital, so I can’t think where it would go in a lineup… altho my station has several locally produced shows it plays daily, including the 1-2pm timeslot that nothing but OLTL was successful in. (GH is still on at 2pm here) That show is a worthless hour of 4 people discussing and watching you tube type videos. Just worthless crap.

As long as these dumb shows are either or cable or on syndication, I don’t care. As long as I can watch GH, I am Ok I would like to watch GH at 3pm

Nancy Lee Grahn’s Star-Studded ALS Fundraiser Reveals “I’ll Be There” Video Featuring Soap Opera Notables

Talk about your impressive line-up! It’s a soap fans dream and for a great cause. General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) is prepping her one-night only ALS fundraiser which will feature many of her friends and co-stars.

The benefit is set for May 4th in Glendale, California. Slated to participate are Genie Francis, Jane Elliot, Peter Bergman, Maurice Benard, Eileen Davidson, Thorsten Kaye, Michelle Stafford, Stephen Nichols, Rena Sofer, Jason Thompson, Kelly Monaco, Melissa Claire Egan, Maura West, Kristina Wagner, Gregory Harrison, Trevor St. John, Kate Mansi, Kirsten Storms, Cynthia Watros, and many others.

On Wednesday, Grahn took to her social media and released an “I’ll be there” video shout-out featuring, Monaco, Elliot, Bergman, Bernard, West, Harrison, St. John and more. In a touching and important moment in the new video, Michelle Strogny, who is battling ALS, is featured.

Photo: ABC

Previously, in speaking with Soap Opera Digest on the impetus of the event, Grahn recalled, “I was actually doing Zoom events during Covid and I met this woman that I just fell in love with, Michelle Strojny. At the time, Michelle had been living with ALS for four years. Now, it’s five years. She is a mom of a teenage son, she has the most wonderful husband, and she has been dealing with this [disease] for quite a while. And obviously, there isn’t a cure yet. It’s not survivable yet. But as she says, it’s not incurable. Nothing is; it’s underfunded. But anyway, I just really dug this woman. She is so grounded and filled with grace, and she spends all of her time working to raise money for the cause. We did a fundraiser for her last year and then I thought, ‘You know what? The soaps don’t ever get together to do something for charity.’ Collectively, we have this amazing community and we don’t collectively use it for a good cause, and I think it’s such an easy thing for us to do and we could potentially really make a difference.”

As GH viewers know, Gregory Harrison is playing the character of Gregory Chase, who is also battling ALS in a touching storyline that is currently playing out shedding a light on this disease.

For information on Nancy’s event, including the stars who are s scheduled to participate click here. To purchase tickets to the event click here.

Check out the video featuring Nancy’s friends and co-stars below.  Now let us know, your thought son the line-up for the benefit and helping raise awareness and funds for ALS research via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’ Writer Shannon Peace Let Go, and Shares on Sprina: “One of My Only Regrets is to Not Have the Opportunity to Develop That ‘Ship’ Further”

As General Hospital’s new head writing team of Elizabeth Korte and Patrick Mulcahy gets off the ground and running, there are still changes a foot on the writing team.

Now comes word via breakdown writer Shannon Peace that she is no longer on contract with the long-running ABC soap heading into its 61st season. Peace shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram, thanking the fans, and the show for the opportunity and the importance of diversity in the writers room.

Peace began, “After almost 3 years on staff and 106 episodes penned, I am no longer on contract with General Hospital. Writing for this country’s longest running television serial drama has been an education of epic proportions; I will forever be grateful that I earned my WGA card on a daytime fixture that holds memories for so many.” (Peace pictured below with GH EP Frank Valentini and script writer, Charlotte Gibson from about ten months ago).

Photo: SPeaceIG

Shannon added “Even more importantly, as the sole Black breakdown writer (and only POC in the writers room) during my tenure, I pushed for vital interactions and discussions that prioritized inclusion, visibility, and representation”

The writer pointed to the example of vital interaction when in story, “Stella and Portia’s frank July 2022 conversation about the role race played in Esme’s framing of Trina is just one example of the impact I’m gratified to have had.”

Acknowledging former GH co-head writers was also part of Peace’s farewell expressing, “Appreciation to my former bosses, Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor – not only taking a chance on me, but for valuing my opinion and championing my voice.”

Courtesy/ABC

Many GH fans know that Peace was key to the development of the love story between Trina Robinson and Spencer Cassadine as played by Tabyana Ali and Nicholas Chavez. Shannon gave a special shout-out to ‘Sprina’ fans, “I also want to thank fans who were supportive of my work, especially the recognition of my love for ‘Sprina’. One of my only regrets is not having to develop that ‘ship’ further.”

She concludes her statement with,”In the aftermath of a historic writer’s strike that shed new light on the troubling ways writers are regarded in daytime, my sincere hope is that General Hospital recommits to valuing staff writer efforts and input, with a more intentional focus on diverse viewpoints — and thrives for another 60 years.”

Accompanying her post, Shannon added, “Thank you all for the love and support these last few years. I hope GH fans get all they hope for and more!”

So, what do you think about GH not renewing Shannon’s contract? Will there be more continued changes afoot? What do you think is the future of ‘Sprina’ anyway at this point as viewers wait to see if Nicholas Chavez officially returns to the show?  Comment below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Learns Britt Died and Tells Anna He Has Been Working For Cates Since November 2021

On the Tuesday, March 26th of General Hospital, Anna (Finola Hughes) and the viewers learn about where Jason (Steve Burton) has been for over two and half years. However, Jason gets some news of his own.

Anna is visiting Jason at the PCPD interrogation room. She asks him if he shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), which he flatly denies. Anna believes him, but she tells Jason it doesn’t matter, because video footage shows him on the roof at the time of the shooting

When talk turns to Jason not willing to speak without his lawyer present, Anna can’t grasp why Jason would instead spend an hour alone talking with John Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

Photo: ABC

It is then that Anna brings up that John went by “Jagger” and that the two of them knew each other in high school. Jason doesn’t recall much of his time in high school following his brain injury, but then he gets furious realizing John knew about “Jason’s” past. That is when Jason slams the table and tells Anna, “I’ve been working for John Cates since November 2021.”

Next, Jason explains further that he has been working as an informant for the FBI. Anna wants to know how this came about and he tells her that after the tunnel collapsed, and he couldn’t make it to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud)… all of a sudden he sees Anna’s face drop.  Anna is the first person to tell him that Britt died and was murdered. She tells Jason the killer is in custody, but he continues to be shocked, overwhelmed with tears welling up in his eyes. Realizing he has to pivot to save his life, Jason continues telling Anna how he wound up working with John.

Jason explains that after the tunnel collapse in Greece, FBI agents grabbed him and placed him under arrest and took him to Quantico where he met John. At Quantico, John played a recording of RICO violations and offered Jason a deal if he agreed to be an informant against Pikeman, the illegal arms dealer.

Anna hears from Jason that he thinks Pikeman is selling illegal arms to anyone flagged by the NSA but has ties to the WSB which they needed a civilian to infiltrate their organization as a military soldier, a mercenary.

Jason tells Anna he was a part of the team brought into eliminate Sonny (Maurice Benard). Every time an attempt was made on Sonny’s life over the last two years, a different team was sent to do the job. Anna gets furious when she learns that John told Jason his job was to kill Sonny and she was with John at the warehouse that night. Jason ensured the sniper missed Sonny and left the rifle behind. However, they were supposed to meet an extraction team. Before he was shot, Dante saw it was Jason on the roof and when he turned around with his hands over his head, Dante was shot by the other guy. Jason says if Dante dies, he’ll be charged with capital murder and then will be useless to the FBI.

Photo: ABC

Meanwhile, John visits Bobbie’s and runs into Carly (Laura Wright). She learns Jason is in custody and is going to head to the PCPD. Before she does, Carly has some words with Cates when she learns not only does John have a vendetta against Sonny, but Jason too.  Carly tells John he should recuse himself from the case.

So, what did you think about the moment when Jason learned Britt died? What do you think of Jason’s return storyline thus far and what we learned about Jagger/Jason and more? Comment below. But first, check out a moment from today’s GH with Jason and Anna.
