CaRidge Says Their "I Do's" ! Then Show Up For Their Wedding Reception At The B&B Pop Up Fan Event In The Big Apple!
Leave it to the oh-so-clever folks at The Bold and the Beautiful who on Monday blurred the lines of fiction, fantasy, and reality!
On Monday’s airshow of the CBS daytime drama, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) agree to share a makeshift wedding of their own with only themselves attending and no officiating party. Set against a backdrop of opulent and beautiful imaginary as only B&B can, the duo said some very personal vows to one another and exchanged rings.
Meanwhile, Thomas (Pierson Fode) is so downtrodden over the fact that Caroline has decided to run off with Ridge. The young Forrester tried to clarify that he never thought he was taking advantage of Caroline on the night they slept together. With the mention during the CaRidge wedding on how both Ridge and Caroline would like a child together, clearly this one night with Thomas will come back to haunt Caroline in more ways then one, or so it would seem.
But while the drama was unfolding on-screen, Thorsten Kaye and Linsey Godfrey were two of the BOLD cast members who were in New York City as part of the series first ever Pop Up Fan Event held at the Marriot Marquis Hotel. But this wasn’t just any fan event! Turns out that the attendees watched Monday’s episode together and reacted in unison to the events that unfolded which included: Thomas kissing Nicole (Reign Edwards)!
After the viewing, the series talented supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk revealed that Ridge and Caroline were actually here with them in New York City. Next, in walked the actors in the same outfits they were seen in moments ago on the actual episode … and from their a wedding reception ensued. From toasts, to cutting the wedding cake, to a first dance, and even tossing the bouquet!
Of course, later the adoring fans got autograph and picture time with the stars which also included: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), John McCook (Eric), Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy), and Pierson Fode.
Watch CaRidge say their vows on B&B’s Monday episode after the jump! Then let us know, are you rooting for Caroline and Ridge to stay together? Do you think Caroline will be pregnant by Thomas? What did you think of Thomas and Nicole’s kiss? And finally, what did you think of the fun twist on a fan event produced by B&B? Comment below!

Y&R’s Hayley Erin Previews Her Role in Horror-Thriller ‘New Life’
I’m thrilled Ridge and Caroline are married! I would prefer if there were no secrets between them but I love this couple so much, I’m rooting for them to get past the obstacles.
As far as the Thomas/Caroline incident, I’m praying Thomas lied and nothing really happened. The way he described what happened doesn’t coincide with the state we saw Caroline in. She could barely keep her eyes open and her vision was getting blurry, I don’t think she was in any condition to have sex.
Basically I consider it rape. I think Caroline should have told Ridge. Presented it as I was incapacitated. I think Ridge would have sided with her. We know we’re going to have a baby daddy drama soon. I hope not, but it will probably end up being Thomas’.
AGREE 100% THEY BOTH LIED….CAROLINE WILL BE PREGNANT AND SO EXCITED TO TELL RIDGE AND HE WILL KNOW IMMEDIATELY HE IS NOT THE FATHER……NOW WILL BE FINALLY TELL HER THE TRUTH OR JUST PLAY ALONG?????? should be more interesting than the last two months or longer….
Oh, he definitely took advantage, there’s no question about that. The woman kept talking about her love for his father constantly, even in that state. She even called him a friend when he said he would like another chance. I don’t know what made him think it was a good idea to make a move.
I agree with Callie, I love this couple but I’m afraid the lies will doom them. Caroline should tell Ridge about Thomas, and Ridge should tell her about his vasectomy. But then this is a soap and no conflict would be boring.
The reception idea was so clever.
Are they going to city hall now so they’ll actually be legally married?
Loved the CaRidge wedding those two have amazing chemistry 🙂
Where was it filmed? The location was lovely. Glad they are married. They are so cute together. I hope they’ll be happy, but I know that won’t happen!
On a previous episode Caroline used the bathroom and sort of told Thomas there was no baby scenario so I don’t see how Caroline-Thomas-baby can happen! 🙂
How sixties of them, marrying themselves — and very clever to tie the fan event to the show like that, I’m sure those fans had a great time and that “reception” But story wise it was a waste of my time, the marriage isn’t legal, another “wedding” will have to happen or might not happen– so what was the point? It is bad enough when soaps can’t be bothered to hire an actor for a day to be a justice of the peace or clergy and have characters already on the show married people, like Kyle on Y&R marrying Sage and Nick. Now characters can just marry themselves—oh well that’s one way to cut down on costs–LOL
Justin could have married them. In fact, Ridge asked Caroline if she wanted Justin there for that purpose; and she declined
I think you mean Carter, not Justin.
I think you are correct!!! LOL must have been thinking of G
I’m enjoying B&B for the most part, but I’m not a big fan of this couple. Meh. But tying this into the fan event was brilliant and I’m sure it was a hit with fans in attendance. Fun!
I am all for a world without Ridge and Brooke, so I am thrilled that Caroline has captured his heart….
This is a believable couple….. I love Caroline and am hoping the Big V works…
I still remember when Ridge was in love with the original Caroline and married her . They were the first big supercouple on the show .To see the recast Ridge marry the Caroline who is the niece of the original Caroline makes me sick . I’m not happy !
My main problem with all stories on B&B (including CaRidge) is that there is the potential for conflict, but then the show either gets scared and chickens out of showing the results of the conflict, or it doesn’t know how to write it at all. For instance, Maya is transgender, and we all held our breaths at how Rick would react, and yet he was cool with it, as was everyone on the show except for her dad, who was a guest character and is no longer on the show. Aly dies, and I’ve waited for Thorne to explode, or for her death to impact someone other than Ivy vs. Steffy. Instead, Thorne left town soon after the funeral and no one mentions Aly at all. Now we have Caroline keeping several secrets from Ridge (Ivy’s blackmail, the night with Thomas) and Ridge keeping a secret from Caroline (his vasectomy). Brad Bell is usually all about location shoots, the more lavish, the better, and this year, he’s all about weddings. There have been four so far. Where’s the conflict? Where’s the fallout from people keeping secrets? It’s strange to me that CaRidge were broken up for less than one day in soap time for a good reason (Ridge didn’t want kids, and he told Caroline so), only to have them reunite the next day.
I dunno. I guess I would like this couple more if they actually had conflict to deal with, and while they have some secrets between them, I’m not convinced that Brad Bell will have any fallout from those secrets being revealed. Last year, he had Ridge run off to stop Bill and Brooke from marrying because of Bill’s secret about having drunken sex with Quinn, and once Brooke found out, she could have cared less. These secrets with CaRidge will probably result with both Caroline and Ridge forgiving each other in the same episode as the reveals happen. As for Thomas, Ridge will be upset for a few minutes and then he’ll hug his son.
By the way, I’ve noticed that after 3 exotic location shoots last year, there have been none in 2015, except for the NYC fan event. It was creative and they did fly a bunch of actors across country, but it’s hardly the same budget as the shoots in the United Arab Emirates, Amsterdam or Monaco/Paris, especially since the fans paid for the experience in NYC. Does this mean B&B’s budget isn’t quite as rich as it was a year ago? It makes me wonder…
If no one officiated, is the marriage legal?
Excellent question. A minister who has stepped up for duty..
1) there is no civil that governs or holds the ceremony of marriage. In my state there is no law on the book that governs vows or any other ceremonial aspect. These aspects have been left to the individual s getting married. You wanna do it with an Elvis impersonator during a full moon? Knock yourself out.
2) marriage exists under property law. It’s a legal contract about assets. You are registering your desire to enter a legal partnership (the application). Then you wait the appropriate period (Vegas has no waiting period, my state makes you wait a week) and submit a signed license.
So in my state, I would sign as the legal officiant and the couple would sign. Signed, submitted to the County and then registered.
BB is fiction. But yeah, they could have done this and had Brooke process the paperwork.
Anyone need a minister? No fee!!!!
Thanks for the info. Interesting.
Brooke is a beautiful women and deserves to be in a happy relationship. Ridge has played her for years! So sad to see her alone, a victim of a double standard set by Ridge, and mistreated!! I miss Ron Moss!
That’s another thing that bothers me. I would like B&B to stop having Ridge say that he’s never loved like this before when we’ve all seen that he has, and for much longer. It’s disrespectful of history. If he loves Caroline 2.0, great but don’t disregard Ridge’s history in the process. That line was both unnecessary and wrong. As for Brooke, I would love to see her move on, too. I don’t like how everyone on this show gets to be in happy, loving relationships except for Brooke and Eric (though he’s rarely on).
Caroline and Ridge are the BESTand most romantic couple on daytime right now. Please keep them together no matter what.
As for the wedding in Malibu–it’s my favorite place on earth and the most beautiful as Ridge said.
Can someone tell me the song tht was playing when ridge and caroline got married in Malibu
u its Beautiful
Please create a new role for Brooke. Please let her move on! Ridge is having a mid-life crisis and has moved on to a younger women with no baggage. While he is full of baggage. He used Brooke for years and broken up all her relationships when she tried to move on??? Last year he prevented her from getting married but he dumped her because she ” communicated with her daughter’s father and did not tell him?? ” So silly– a double standard. He was in love with her sister recently too! He is such a jerk. What will he think when Caroline becomes pregnant by his son Thomas??? Brooke is too talented and beautiful to be reduced to this heartbroken rejected women. Such an insult to the history of the time Brooke was the love of his life! Is it because Ron Moss retired that the writers not put them together? Whatever the reason I am only recording and watching the show 1 x wkly because of Brooke’s sad story line! It looks like I will not be watching this show much longer. I don’t care to hear Ridge say he has never been this happy before! I have watched this soap since 1987!! And that is a LIE!!
