Chrishell Hartley Back To DAYS!
Chrishell Hartley is making a return to Days of our Lives as Jordan Ridgeway,
Hartley last appeared on the NBC daytime drama series from 2013-2015 .
According to Soap Opera Digest, Chrishell is already back taping at DAYS and will first air in early 2019.
Chrishell told SOD: “They wrote this really fun story for me which I am so excited about.” She went on to add: “It’s definitely not what we did last time…. The audience will be surprised.”
In real life, the actress is married to This Is Us star, Justin Hartley.
So, how do you think Ron Carlivati (head writer) and DAYS will bring Jordan back on to the canvas?
Share your theories in the comment section below, and remember, Jordan is the sister to Ben Weston (Rob Scott Wilson).
I’m glad Jordan is coming back. Perhaps she will help Ben get re-established in life. Whatever the reason, it will be good to see Chrishell Hartley again.
Really????? Oh, WOW!! What a gift!!
She will be Ben’s guardian angel. If my memory serves me right, it was after she left that Ben started manifesting his depraved behavior.
I know I am not supposed to feel sorry for Ben, but, he exhibits such a pitiful picture at the moment….I can’t help but feel sorry for him. I was so taken with todays’s scene where he was forced to leave Ciera’s …..I almost voiced, ” You can come stay at my place”…HaHa!!
Perhaps, Jordan has the key to unlock the mystery as to why Ben went from a good guy to a rabid murderer.
Please, not a brain tumor….maybe all psychological due to his father’s influence? Brainwashed?
So glad to see Chrishell’s beautiful face….and, her outstanding performance, playing any character….loved her since AMC, as Amanda Dillon.
I so forgot about her…she probably will be involved with JJ..
Her statement makes it sounds like Jordan’s going to have a darker side this go around. She’s probably also going to help redeem Ben too. I’ll bet it’s short term return as most are lately on Days.
I’m sure she will be used as part of ReRon’s agenda to turn Ben into Frodd 2.0. Jordan will probably tell him that Redneck Clyde wasn’t actually his father. And that he was fathered by Don Craig shortly after he somehow got lost walking to the mailbox and disappeared sometime in the early 1980s.
Lol!! Good post! I wonder if DAYS will ever resolve what happened to Don Craig or Neil Curtis. Both just…disappeared! Really shabby treatment for two commanding leading men of their day!!
Great news. Quite bizarre as was just thinking she should return so Ben could have someone in his court. I always wondered what she would have thought of what Ben did after she left, as he was always a good brother to her.
Ditto. I was just thinking this, while watching Ben mope about how he had “no one” who cares about him.
I’m fast-forwarding through the current episodes, as it’s really ho-hum lately.
I’d be okay with Hope exhibiting discomforted distortions over Rafe’s wandering eye for Jordan, to accompany her conniptions over Ciara salivating for Ben.
It would be great if they did something cool and high-tech with Steve’s new bionic eye, perhaps helping out his detective agency. But they won’t.
They never addressed why they didn’t replace Steve’s empty patch area with the bionic eye, or why they didn’t give him TWO bionic eyes. Either would seem a more logical course.
They did give Steve Patch Johnson an extra eye back in the late 80s, but I think it was not a popular decision as it changed his character, so he lost that eye again.
I wondered about the two bionic eyes thing myself. Only thing I could think of is that because it had been decades since that eye had been removed, there was no longer a live optic nerve there to attach it too. As opposed to his current eye, which was still biologically intact, though non-functional. They would have had to create a fake optic nerve and wire it completely into his brain, which is probably a bit too sci-fi for a procedure that was supposed to appear medically credible.
At least they didn’t go with the Geordie LaForge spray-painted banana comb thing!
Stop!!!!! You guys are killing me….bionic eyes? Stevie go….an extra eye? I am dying laughing here!!
Someone went to the mailbox and never came back?? ( I know—figure of speech?) …..still unbearably hilarious…
I have to ask my Gran about Neil Curtis? Don Craig?
You guys should do a comedy act together!!
So good to have her back.could you please bring that gorgeous husband with you.Yes I am a huge Justin Hartley fan.My best friend loves him to.I do wonder what they have in store for her.I had a feeling she was coming back because of the way they kept on talking about her all of the time.

‘The Talk’ Renewed For 15th and Final Season to End in December; Does Its Cancellation Make Room for ‘The Gates’?
Things just got very interesting over at CBS daytime with the announcement today that The Talk is going to end its run on the network after its 15th season, and that season looks to be shortened as the series will come to its conclusion in December of 2024.
In a joint statement, Amy Reisenbach, President, CBS Entertainment and David Stapf, President, CBS Studio, shared, “The Talk broke new ground when it launched 14 years ago by returning daytime talk to CBS with a refreshing and award-winning format. Throughout the years, it has been a key program on CBS’ top rated daytime line-up as it brought timely, important and entertaining topics and discussions into living rooms around the globe.”
Reisenback and Stapf added, “It goes without saying that hosting and producing a year-round talk show is no easy task, and we express our sincere gratitude to our amazing hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood, our Executive Producer/Showrunner Rob Crabbe and the hardworking producing team and crew.
Giving props to those who co-hosted or worked on the show through the years including: Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen Moonves, Carrie Ann Inaba Leah Ramimi, Marissa Janet Winokur, Holly Robinson Peete, Eve, Aisha Tyler, and Sharon Osbourne, the joint statement added, “We also want to acknowledge our former show hosts and colleagues who contributed throughout the seasons. We truly appreciate the skill, creativity, and dedication everyone involved brought to the show every day. And of course, we thank the numerous guests who appeared, and the millions of viewers who tuned in daily. For the final season, we plan to celebrate the show and give it the proper sendoff it deserves when it concludes in December 2024.”
While no firm decision or announcement has been given at this time, it seems most likely that The Talk’s time slot could be given to the new soap opera in development The Gates from CBS Studio Ventures and from longtime soap opera writer. Michele Val Jean. As previously reported, The Gates features the lives of a wealthy Black family who reside in a posh, gated community.
The Talk was originally the brainchild of Sara Gilbert, who had developed the show when it launched back 2010 and it replaced the beloved As the World Turns which went off the air after 54 years when CBS canceled it.
So, what do you think of The Talk being canceled? Will this make room for The Gates to begin to air in its spot beginning in 2025? Share your reactions to the news via the comment section.
