DAYS Duos Sarah and Xander Play Against Kristen and Brady In DOOL App’s ‘Newlywed Game’

If you have not downloaded the free DOOL app yet, now is as good a time as any to check out all the fun Days of our Lives-centrics features, games, interviews, segments, and series.

This week, the app is featuring a hilarious romp throwback to the popular 1970’s game show, The Newlywed Game. ‘

Only in this Salem-version of the game show; current lovebirds Sarah Horton and Xander Kiriakis test their love match knowledge against Kristen DiMera and Brady Black.

Watch as Linsey Godfrey (Sarah), Paul Telfer (Xander), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen) and Eric Martsolf (Brady) answer as their characters in two rounds of competition.  First, the ladies answer questions on how they think their man will answer them, and then the gents have their turn.  Whichever couple has the most matched-answers right, it declared the winner.

For more information on the DOOL app visit www.thedoolapp.com on how you can download via iPhone or Android mobile devices.

If you caught the Newlywed Game on the DOOL app, let us know what you thought of it via the comment section below.

I can’t stand Sarah… she is so whiney, judgmental and shrill. I don’t see what Xander sees in her. I wish they would write her out. One of the worst characters Days has ever had.

I stopped watching Days after the awful “Marlena is a serial killer” storyline.
I read about the time jump so out of curiosity started watching again. The first thing I noticed was how bad the sets are now. The show used to have some of the most beautiful sets in daytime. Marlenas penthouse, the Dimera mansion and various other house, apartment and office sets. They are all gone. Marlena and John’s place is not even a full set.It looks like a claustraphobic partial set. The other sets are all very poor and generic. The worst set is the “Horton Town Square”. The poor store fronts and all that fake ivy and “flowers’ that bloom even in the dead of winter! The only good set is the Kiriakis Mansion. It is actually quite impressive.

I began watching with my partner in the den over supper. After a few shows he finally commented about how bad the writing was. With a “spoof like” quality with all the brain chips etc. I now watch the show alone.I find it entertaining but at the same time am aware that the writing is indeed bad.

In every single episode there is at least one scene with the entering and overhearing a conversation device. In an interview with the iconic Claire Labine she once commented on how proud she was to have very rarely used this device. Calling it ” a bad, lazy writing device in order to advance plot”. This is my biggest issue with the show at this point. Does anyone else think this as well?

I dont recall the last time The Horton Home was even shown…

Jimh
Wasn’t Jennifer living there a couple years ago? I remember Julie staying there and Abby, after she had the baby et, etc.

Fun. I’ll have to watch. I like both couples, but I guess like Xander and Sarah a bit more since I love Xander so much. I don’t want Nicole to spread the news about Mickey, but I was sad when Kristen’s baby “died”.
