DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Gabi’s Revenge Plot Begins To Unfold; Watch Out Abigail and Stefan!

Evil Gabi is back on Days of our Lives, and that means some great material for Camila Banus (Gabi) to sink her teeth into. After all, who doesn’t love a Gabi scorned?!  This week, viewers already learned that Gabi has already switched the paternity results to make it look as if Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is the father of Abigail’s (Marci Miller) unborn child, when it is really Chad’s (Billy Flynn).  To top it off, she is manipulating and “advising” Gabi on what to do about her paternity secret

On Tuesday’s episode while in the park, Gabi reflects on changing the paternity results and says out loud to herself: “Karma is a bitch. Since you and Stefan ruined my life …” but she stops talking when all of a sudden Stefan appears.  He wants to talk about “Gabi Chic”, and their mutual business interests, but she’s not having it one bit!

She blasts him and his fictitious girlfriend “Gabby” for framing her for murder, and all that has transpired in her life since then including: being beaten up in prison, which has left her unable to have any more children, due to a surgery and an infection she developed while in the slammer for a crime she did not commit.

Gabi says she is not like her ‘Madre.”  She believes in revenge and that people like him deserve to be punished, and that she wants to see him suffer like she has. Stefan is hoping that Gabi will eventually trust him, put the past behind them, and work together.  Stefan exits and once alone, a vengeful Gabi says:  “You and your little whore, Gabby, took something from me that’s precious. Now it’s my turn to take something from you.”

Then to put an exclamation point on her revenge plot, Gabi grins that “all hell will break loose.”

Are you glad to see Gabi back with an edge as she plans to make Abigail and Stefan’s life a living hell? What do you think will be the next move in her master plot? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

The ignorance is beginning to infiltrate Salem.
Drugs were planted in JJ’s apartment. Who ‘done’ it? Duh!?!? If Everyone is soooo adamant in believing neither JJ nor Theresa did it….if Brady doing such an act of cowardice ( Ha!) is out of character…..who’s left? Victor wants Brady and Theresa together….process of elimination. No one thought of Eve? She and Miss Jenny were arch enemies. Will it take Jennifer to ‘snake’ her out? Think, Jenny, think!!
Everyone in Salem seems to have a short memory. Hello? Eve was and still is EVIL.
Who stabs her own sister in the back? Fighting for her man? Well, if I were a man, I would not want a woman with such a dirty heart and tactics.
Then, there’s Gabi. Really? I want to be hopeful….cheery….but, please, please—-no torturous Chad/Abigail/Stefan plotline……I just noticed that Tyler looks old enough to be Marci’s father. Ugh!! Gross!!

Call me crazy but I just don’t see Gabi as evil. Getting her edge back? Absolutely. But evil? No That said although I love her I don’t like what she’s doing right now. I get it. She’s angry, she’s damaged and totally fed up. I don’t blame her one bit for wanting some payback I just wish she wasn’t doing it this way. One thing her monologue yesterday showed me that she lost her bearings and isn’t thinking clearly. I do think she needs some help and hope she realizes it soon rather than later.

As for Camila I think she’s rocking it. I’m definitely keeping my fingers crossed that come Daytime Emmy time next year she gets some attention.

Hi, Troy,
Unlike yourself, I never really liked Gabi.
She has always had an evil streak—-especially toward Abbi. She had set her cap for Chad as soon as she came to town, as it were.
The PTB chose to ‘fluctuate’ this girl hither and yon….not exactly making up their minds as to where her place was.
The end result was one ridiculous incident/situation after another.
What you see is the true Gabi. She did not lose her bearings. She just needed a push. Gabi was, more or less, ‘purified’ for a bit—-but, those tiny little mean imps in her head are baa-aack!!
Those pure of heart, never sway….sure, they balk and wail, but remain basically good…..with no intention of causing anyone else harm.
The writers play with these characters’ psyche and personae waaay too much—-to the point where the plots are not taken seriously any longer.

Hi Celia.

Thank you for your response. All I can really say is that’s now how I say is I respectfully disagree.

Great answer, Troy, LOL. Very respectful!! Appreciate the humor.
Pasquale. A very noble and sainted name. Did you know the name is derivative of Pasqua? …..translates to Easter.. I bet you already knew that. LOL.
Ciao.

Actually I didn’t that. LOL That’s very interesting.

❤️

Well said..let’s not forget what she did to Melanie..hmm that was over Chad..I don’t like this story line however..it’s too much like old baby drama story..the baby switch has been played too many times..

Right, PAMD….and the baby swtch will be a usable convenience over and over…..never-ending-story. LOL.

I loves me some evil Gabi! Of course her next move will be to learn when and where Abby is planning to terminate her pregnancy and then “accidentally” tell Stefan that Abby is about to abort his child so he can stop the procedure.

Of course she will do exactly that, Alan! Gabi will bide her time….skulk and wait…then pounce like the tigress.
Camila is killing it, albeit I am not into Gabi’s machinations.

I’m sure glad Camilla decided to stay another year—Gabi is my favorite character on DAYS.

Why cant Gabi just seem to understand that it was not Abby’s fault she had another personality ?.I am shocked to hear it is Chads baby.Makes no sense to me at all,or did I read it wrong? I mean it would have made more sense for it to be Stefan’s baby because there would be more of a story there. I dont know what to think but if looks could kill ouch,

She going after chad

Gotta say, I really appreciated Guy Wilson’s portrayal of Will where he frequently sneered at and talked down to Gabi.

It’s interesting how the exact same sequence of words could sound nice coming from one actor, but were delivered like a (delightful) backhanded slap from another.

July 24th episode: Tripp entering a room, carrying a tray of French Fries. What’s not to like?

That boy could melt a chocolate bar at 10 paces.

Greetings Days of Our Lives fans! I want to preface this by saying I have been watching Days of Our Lives for 45 years I started out at 6 years old I was home ill and my grandmother was an avid Days of Our Lives fan. I am also a psychiatrist, and I really feel that they are doing the Mental Health Community, people with multiple personality disorders, people with mental disability with the storyline of Abigail. Now you have changed the character of Gabby into and what was amazing actress sweet and kind and that is abundantly clear in her performance, her ability to understand and forgive Abigail’s mental health issues was wonderful until you threw in now, evil Gabby full of vengeance and actually using Abigail’s mental health issues to play into her plan. Again as a psychiatrist this does such a disservice to people with MPD and or bipolar disorder and or schizophrenia.
And then well adding insult to injury Abigail of course is pregnant and again you’re portraying a woman who is mentally ill and what was a kind woman and friend not only taking advantage of her mental health issues but by doing a complete 180 with the character. I mustad for the first time in 45 years I have stopped watching the show my reasons for not watching it is specifically because of this storyline with Abigail and Gabby I really believe that the mental health community doesn’t need this out there many years ago Kimberly Donovan Shane’s wife had mental illness and they portrayed it accurately and beautifully I’m just, horribly saddened by the path that two producers have chosen to go with this and until something changes I know I speak for myself but I can also speak for my office staff who basically I have now gotten them all watching Days of Our Lives, we effectively are tuned out. Thank you for 45 wonderful years, but I cannot sit back and watch the character of Abigail who is accurately portraying somebody with multiple personality disorders be forced into a psychotic break, because in real life that would have happened. I would like to add that the character Gabby, Abigail, Stefan and Chad are all wonderful young actors and have done a very good job of portraying the spouse of somebody with mental illness, the friend of somebody with mental illness, and the portrayal of a woman tormented with it. I would ask that the storyline be changed because simply the stress of a pregnancy with multiple personality disorder patients, but then adding in triggers such as the issue of paternity can actually lead too a patient committing suicide. And I don’t believe that Days of Our Lives would want to be tackling that issue. With respect, from North Florida, dr. Lynn Vitale

Hi, Lynn,
Our stories sound sort of similar…..I’ve watched Days and many other soaps since I was in diapers with my grandmother. That would be in the late 80’s.
I certainly appreciate your informative precis on mental health…..Abigail has not been given a fair shake on all counts by the writers. It seems to me TPTB have used Abby’s mental health issues to prop Stefan and Gabi.
However, Gabi’s ‘sweetness’ was never real, per se…..under the surface….under all that sugar, Gabi was always duplicitous.
As PAMD mentioned, Melanie and Chad ( not Flynn at the time) were an item. Gabi did her best to break them up.
Then Chad and Abby became involved and Gabi repeated the scheming and has not stopped, as we can see.
So, Gabi, as far as I am concerned, has mental issues of a different kind. Never liked her!!

I think Days writers think us fans are gullible st best! Everyone knows test results we get are NOT it!!! We get copies and for this to be going on this long makes me as a fan feel frustrated and cheated! Why has not someone maybe Kayla discovered this and also evil Gabi stinks! I am talking about Abby and Chad and their baby!
Just saying!

I absolutely hate the storyline and Gabby, I fast forward through the scenes because it’s unbearable to watch

I want her to get caught up with cause what shes doing is wrong Abby doesnt deserve this she was ill when gabby went to jail so its wrong

I ready hope Gabi get caught because that is wrong that innocent baby is involved and I hope chaff hate her forever for taking him away from bonding with his baby and family and I hope she go to jail and spend the rest of her life in jail and lose her daughter for good .

Cannot wait until all of this blow up in Gabby’s and kate’s face they deserve each other they both belongs in jail for all the stuff that they have done nothing but Natural Born murderers

And I hope this time when she go to jail for drugging Abby while she is pregnant for the rest of her life even hope she loose her life in there this time I hate gabby with a passion

I hate the Gabby story line ! I fastforward Do the writers think we are stupid with all this people not catching on! End this story line already

Days of our Lives Star, Greg Vaughan, Gives Health Update and Thanks Everyone for Their Support

Greg Vaughan (Eric, Days of our Lives, ex-Lucky, GH, and ex-Diego, Y&R) provided an update on his health on Sunday, March 17th. Vaughan had previously shared that he had become ill during a trip with his sons to Colorado, and had developed altitude sickness when he was having trouble breathing accompanied by terrible headaches and landed in the urgent care.

Now on St. Patrick’s Day, Greg took to his Instagram and shared how he is feeling now, and to thank everyone for their love and support.  As it turned out, Vaughan was diagnosed with high altitude pulmonary edema, commonly known as HAPE. However, he is on the mend slowly and surely.

In his new video post, the DAYS favorite started by expressing, “I just felt such an appreciation and gratitude for everything. . reaching out. Your prayers have been felt. It’s been a struggle, but I’m over the top. And, taking this moment just to say I didn’t realize the things that I was going through. My (original) post was simply just to educate, put some information out there and some things that I was feeling, just share that information and the struggle that I was going through, which I didn’t quite understand. And it wasn’t because I’m stubborn or just because I’m a father, a man, and didn’t want to go to a doctor. It is just something I thought was so minor that I could overcome it, just by taking care of myself.”

The Daytime Emmy winner then revealed his actual diagnosis, “So, basically my situation was high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE). With some good friends, doctors that had reached out to me, it kind of gave me some understanding on the aftermath, which was very, very beneficial.”

“But I’ve been resting, taking care of myself even though I live in a hamster wheel,” said the dad of three teenaged boys. “I gotta get up and, you know, do my normal domesticated stuff, eventually. I’m tired of laying down in this bed, but, I am feeling much better.”

Talking on his confusion of trying to understand what could have been ailing him, Vaughan expressed, “I couldn’t quite figure it out, even though I was emphasizing and professing to my children going on our spring break getaway about hydration. I professed it. But, even though I was acting on it, it had a greater effect on me, and for which I did not even think, because my head was such in pain, and I was in a very bad state of mind – not being able to be out there with my kids on the mountain, enjoying their time, as well. I thought I was doing the right thing. Unfortunately, my lungs were full of fluids and my head was in severe pain and even migraine pills didn’t even help. So, I just want anybody that goes into the Colorado Mountains to know, it is no joke. It is this very serious thing which I guess is why they call it the Mile High City.”

Greg had a mountain of ‘thank you’s’ to give for the outreach he received from his original post, “For everybody internationally, wherever you are, I love you and I appreciate you and just the time and the thoughts that you’ve shared with me,” said Vaughan. “I didn’t realize that it would make such an impression on so many people around the world. I feel tremendously loved and I can’t say it enough. I’m good. And I appreciate you.”

Photo: GVaughanIG

The actor concluded his video with, “To all the family and friends that have reached out to me, man, it means the world. So take care of yourself, enjoy your spring break with your families. It’s Saint Patty’s Day, obviously. I wish I could be out there.” Vaughan added, “I feel loved and touched and I can’t emphasize that enough. I’ll take better care of myself, promise you will do the same.” Before he signed off, Greg shared, “Just know, that I’m alive and well and breathing, and I’m sore. So, be well, take care. I mean it. Thank you, tremendously.”

Glad to know that Greg has been on the mend, and shared his appreciation for everyone that reached out to him during this trying time? Comment below.

Days of our Lives Star Greg Vaughan Shares Sudden Health Scare: “I Truly Feel Like I Work & Live in a Soap Opera!”

What started out as an adventure with his sons, quickly turned into a nightmare for Days of our Lives Daytime Emmy winner, Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady).

In a series of Instagram posts, Vaughan shared the sudden health crisis he found himself in.  The images show Greg with an oxygen tank to help him breathe.

The actor began to fill people, sharing, “I’ve said more than a few times, I truly feel like I work & live in a Soap Opera! 🤪 this trip was nothing short of another great Vaughan adventure!”

He went on to say that on a father and son Colorado spring break trip, he began to feel shortness of breath, feeling tired and with a headache and after two days of hoping he would feel better, Vaughan finally went to an Urgent Care to get checked out.

Photo: GVaughanIG

“I finally surrendered & went to urgent care and to my shock I learned that I was experiencing severe altitude sickness.” Vaughan admitted. “My Blood Oxygen was at 54% & my lungs were full of fluids! Blood oxygen, also known as oxygen saturation, represents the percentage of hemoglobin in your red blood cells that is carrying oxygen. Most people have an oxygen level of 95-100%….”

Providing more detail to his health scare, Greg shared, “Well, 4hrs later, a couple of bags of IV & oxygen tank strapped to my face, I was told that I needed to immediately get off the mountain! However I couldn’t, we still had another day to go & wanting the boys to enjoy their last day on the hill tops! I opted to go home with an oxygen tank, a good laugh for everyone, and I know will follow, but my boys looked after their old man & fortunately they had friends on this trip!”

Photo: JPI

The experience of altitude sickness in the Colorado Rockies gave Vaughan a bit of a new perspective, “In all seriousness, no matter your age, and all the times I’ve ⛷️ & 🏂 in my lifetime, Colorado Rockies is no joke! As they say, ‘ take a breathe and smell the roses!’ That is truly something we need to remember & appreciate! #recover”

Share your well-wishes to Greg as he continues to be on the mend via the comment section below.
