DWTS All-Stars Results Show: GH's Kelly Monaco Lands in Bottom Three! But She Will Dance Again Next Week!
In a shocking Dancing with the Stars All-Stars Results Show tonight, General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco (Sam) and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy ended up in the Bottom Three. During the announcement of Monaco’s results, she was standing next to Bristol Palin who got the lowest score from the judges last night, and is clearly not the caliber of dancer of many of the celebrity contestants. And, when it came down to Monaco or Palin ending up in the bottom three, it was Palin who was safe and Monaco who was in jeopardy of going home. We can only imagine the cringe from Monaco’s on-screen mother, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) when thinking of Bristol besting Kelly!
After Kelly was announced to be in the bottom three for the night, so too was another former dance champ, Helio Castroneves and partner, Chelsie Hightower, and Joey Fantone and partner, Kym Johnson! At the end of the Results Show, it was revealed that Kelly Monaco was safe, while Joey and Helio were the actual bottom two, with Joey and Kym getting the final boot!
What do you think of Bristol Palin being safe while Kelly landed in the bottom three? Weigh-in!

Michael, after tonight I honestly believe the voting is rigged. No way in the world would kelly be in the bottom 3 and Bristol safe. She was horrible. I was actually at the taping on Monday night and it may have not been Kelly’s best dance but was beat the pants off Bristol. You are right in you comments. Bristol was clumsy and could not dance. Give me a break. There was something wrong with that picture. The show may get picketed if Bristol wins over Kelly.
I agree totally
I felt the same way the last time Bristol was on the show… I think they give too much points for home voters, andit was obvious that her momma must have wrangled every Republican to vote for her daughter, even if others deserved the votes more — like Brandy! She was really really good and I thought she’d be in the final 3 and I it was horrible when they said Bristol was safe and Brandy was going home. And you could just see that poor girl’s face – she knew she was much better and she was just crushed.
made me sick!
oh, and next week is going to be bad if Bristol stays in after they let TWO couples go.
so remember when you’re voting to vote for the underdogs you want to stay on the most, plus the people that are doing the best. I really like Gille (?) he’s doing just awesome!
If that is how the votes came out so be it. I know some people are flipping out over this, like Kelly being on here can save GH. It is doing great so I don’t know if it has to be saved. I think originally it was meant for people to vote for who they thought had danced the best. Yet I’m sure the shows producers knew people would vote for their favorites regardless of how they did. I greatly object to politics being brought into it. First it’s vote for Kelly for GH’s sake. Then it became vote because we don’t want the tea party to be happy or something like that. Politics is everywhere right now and we can’t even read tweets with out being subjected to it in retweets about a dance show? I’m not against the idea of Kelly winning and I think she is a great dancer but in some people’s minds I think this has gotten way out of hand. It is, after all, a competition, not life or death.
Great post, and I agree 100%! If Kelly dances the best, I’ll vote for her. Right now, I feel others are doing better, and they’ll receive my vote.
Exactly, not only is it a competition, but a competition for entertainment purposes not the Olympics for ballroom dancing. The producers say it year after year if you want someone to stay on the show vote for them, if you don’t vote, don’t complain if they get knock off. Also some people are not voting for the celebrity, the pro dancers have their fans too, maybe Mark fans are helping Bristol’s numbers. But like you said, it is not life or death, it all for fun (for us) and profit (for the network.)
I don’t really think Kelly was in the bottom 3..I think it was a fake out..How Bristol was safe & Joey went home is beyond me bc she’s by far the worse dancer on there. Not to mention I cringe and get filled w/ rage when I see her or her mother lmao.
Kelly wasn’t necessarily in the bottom 3 in voting. The couple that is SAFE in the bottom 3 could have had the highest votes. The bottom TWO is the only “real” indication of public voting. The third couple is just a red herring, if you will. I truly believe this is a ploy by ABC to freak people out so that they will vote for Kelly. I hope it doesn’t back-fire on them and we lose a couple that deserves to go further in the competition. Kelly is dancing well enough without their “help” IMO.
very well put-im glad she is on DWTS and i do feel she belongs staying in the competition because she is good enough although i have to come clean i have been asking people to vote for her because i love her on GH im very loyal to my soap lol
I understand how the “bottom three” works, but lots of people don’t. Thanks for explaining so well.
This is what happened during the original season that Bristol Palin was on. She can’t dance, but followers of her mother pump up the voting totals until near the very end when the judges finally gave her such very low scores that she had to lose before the finals for that season. It was a huge “scandal” that season, I expect the same thing will happen again this season. Where Bristol is concerned, talent has nothing to do with it.
LOL well, that ”Tea Party’ sticks together no matter how wrong they are 🙂
This is the VERY reason they SHOULD NOT HAVE had Bristol on, IF they wanted a REAL dance-off and All Star Show, (they knew how the Tea Party fixed/ unbalance other show Bristol was on) they WOULD NOT of never had Bristol on for THIS TYPE of show.
HERE’S THE THING: The show didn’t care WHO (the other dances) was affended/ hurt by a SUDDEN ” vote off”, just as long as they had the extra-viewership that Bristol and the Tea Party would draw in. Thats’ just Wrong, Wrong, wrong. People are there to ” defend” their title to ” other ” champs, NOT there to do a
” Great Job ” and ” then ” to be ” Voted off “, due to Bristol/ dumb Sarah Palin, and the Tea Party. Shame on ABCD-umb network for NOT taking this ‘” Dance Off ” more seriously….!!! As ‘ IF ‘ abcd-umb network really needs those (tea party) viewer’s. Like, ok. What’s going to happen to DWTS show next season when Bristol is no longer on?
Shame on ABCD-umb network for not taking this All Star Dance off more seriously.
Write your letters and complain.
I’m going to write a complaint.
This show is a combination of talent and popluarity. Both Kristie Alley and Bristol Palin did well on their respective seasons not because they were the best dancers, but they had a large fan base. Joey went home because his fan base is smaller. He hasn’t been on the show for a while, wherins both KA and BP are in viewer’s recent memories. Kelly was on the first season and this show really took off about season 4 so many viewers never saw her season. I’m sure she has a good group fans from GH, but she has to win over some newer DWTS fans too if she going beat out the fan base of KA or BP.
a travesty..Palin should have been gone…it’s her mom’s people keeping her there. for goodness sake GH fans…vote for Kelly. vote and vote often…
Kelly is simply not that good.
The others were better..
Perhaps Kelly will do better in the next round..
We all have heart favorites, but that does not mean they are the best ..
DWTS is an awesome show. Voters for their favorite because they are loyal ones and because they truely want them to contiue. Bristol was the lowest scored before voting results were in. If anyone should have gone home it should have been here. The show and votes don’t work that way. As for Kelly Monoco she has said she is in this not just to win but prove she can do it. If she dances bad and kicked off she will accept that I am sure. She is gracious and compassionate. She had one bad night and admitted the rehersal week wasn’t good because emtionally she had just said good bye to Steve Burton who is leaving GH. She gives it her best I am glad she is still in the competion. I hate Joey got kicked off because he is good. bristol’s dance had everyone like wow. Truely she had gone home not Joey
Bristil staying around longer than she she is going to f**k up the show…. Kelly’s dance was beautiful, she posture was fantastic. I don’t knw why U say she had a bad night, I don’t think so. Her night was FAR better than some of those other dancer’s. I know the show likes te Drama, but when a person SHOULD go home and doesn’t, it screws up the crediability and authenticy of what he show is about: The dance and the judging. You know?
She wasn’t in the bottom 3. The final two were the bottom 2, but the third person is just put there to cause drama. Glad she is still in there.
And ya know, leave Nancy out of it. It’s obvious that is put there because Nancy is a Democrat and Palin is a Republican.
No- not at all..
It is because Kelly is not doing well, and that is the truth .
I agree, I don’t think Kelly was really in the bottom 3, I think DWTS does that for the drama & I can’t believe that Bristol is still there. You go KELLY, you’re doing GREAT. Your Philadelphia fans are cheering you on!!!
Have the Philadelphia fans to do more than cheer her on, But VOTE (her on) keep her on the show…..
EVERYONE ON THIS SITE LET’S VOTE AND TELL OUR FRIENDS TO VOTE, AND OUR NEIGHBORS TO VOTE, AND STRANGERS ON THE STREET. BRISTOL CANNOT STAY ANOTHER WEEK. SHE OVER STAYED HER TIME, LAST TIME ON THE SHOW. IN FACT, BRISTOL SHOULDN’T EVEN BE ON THE SHOW, BECAUSE SHE ISN’T A STAR, NOR WAS SHE A FAN FAVORITE. THE TEA PARTY KEPT HER IN, AND SHOULD SHE STAY ON OVER WELL DESERVED AND BETTER DANCERS , ITS GOING TO CAUSE PROBLEMS SO LETS VOTE FOLKS.
START TALKING ABOUT VOTING NOW TO YOUR SPOUNCES, SIBLINGS, BEST FRIEND, AND NEIGHBOR’S . EVEN IF THEY DON’T WATCH THE SHOW, GIVE THEM THE 1`800 NUMBERS OF YOUR FAVORITE 1, 2, PEOPLE AND TEX/ CALL THEM AND TELL THEN TO VOTE.,,,,,,!!!
