Former OLTL & ATWT Co-Stars Of Nathaniel Marston Share Grief With Touching Posts: Easton, Brier, Morris, Strasser, Park & Archer

As On-Air On-Soaps reported early Wednesday evening, former One Life to Live and As the World Turns actor Nathaniel Marston passed away from unimaginable and horrific injuries and complications from his October 30th car crash in Nevada.

The outpouring of love and support and acknowledgement for Nathaniel, and his mother, Elizabeth Jackson since the news spread of Marston’s death has been overwhelming. Several of Marston’s One Life to Live co-stars, and former As the World Turns star Michael Park, took to social media with touching posts, quotes, and song lyrics which speaks to Nathaniel’s life and their time with this man who was taken from us at 40-years-old.

Michael Easton, who played Nathaniel’s brother John McBain on OLTL on his official facebook page Wednesday night quoted the great Jimi Hendrix and said: “MISS YOU MY BROTHER – The story of life is quicker than the blink of an eye. The story of love is hello and goodbye. Until we meet again.”   And in a heartbreaking and touching post with a picture of Michael and Nathaniel and his mom, Easton added:  “FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS – I remember the hat. Nate wore it often. He would wear it on a winter’s day in New York with no jacket. Just a sweatshirt and that brown hat, brim turned up and he’d be laughing.  That’s how I’ll always think of Nathaniel. Walking up Columbus Avenue, the wind blowing against him. He is smiling, moving towards me, growing larger and larger. My thoughts and prayers go out to Nathan’s family, his friends and all the fans who mourn his passing.”

Kathy Brier, who played Nathaniel’s longtime love interest and wife on One Life used the lyrics of Simon & Garfunkel’s classic song, The Boxer, as a parallel to the life of Marston on her facebook page.  The lyrics begin:  “I am just a poor boy
though my story’s seldom told, I have squandered my resistance for a pocketful of mumbles.  Such are promises all lies and jest still, a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest ….”

Jessica Morris, who played Jennifer Rappaport opposite Nathaniel on One Life took to her facebook page with a photo of herself and Marston in a scene from OLTL.  She related:  “Rest in peace ‪#‎nathanielmarston‬ . Working with you was always so fun! Such a gifted actor and warm soul.”

Melisssa Archer, who played Natalie Buchanan, and was, of course, involved in story with the McBains took to Twitter and said:  “Rest in peace Nathanial Marston. You are loved and will be missed.”

Robin Strasser, ex-Dorian Cramer Lord posted on Twitter her sadness:  “SAD NEWS Nathaniel Marston has died of injuries sustained in a car crash. A talented actor, I wish his personal story ended differently- RIP”

And Michael Park posted a touching few sentenced on Twitter simply stating:  “My heart is heavy with this news. Sweet dreams dear Nate.”

Very eloquent, telling, and well-put posts from some of the most beloved actors that have graced the daytime drama landscape on the death of Nathaniel.  What did you think of the sentiments shared by the actors in their social media posts? Share your comments below!

I think they were sincere and heartfelt. There is no other genre like the soaps………..we , the fans, feel like family. I can only imagine how the actors feel. I’m sad for all…….mostly his Mom. I wish everyone peace. I can’t get Nathaniel out of my mind.

may he rest in peace, God has found another angel.

R.I.P. HE WILL BE MISSED!!

May he rest in peace. He fought a good fight. I pray for his mother that she is surrounded in love as she deals with this loss.

I have loved seeing the way the actors showed support and love for Nate and his mother. Gives me even more respect for the soap community. I saw quite a few wonderful posts from Ellen Dolan on FB and many other ATWT actors too.

I am feeling so bad for the actors he worked with—I know them all and watched the shows they were on with him. Nate will never be forgotten.

To the Family of Nathaniel ,
My Heart felt Sympathies to you all , I have watch him for a long time may Peace be with you at this time or Sorrow, but remember he is now a Angel of God and looking out and protecting all of us thru his Spirit , he can now be free God Speed Nate .

I don’t have the words. This is overwhelmingly sad and leave it to Michael Easton to comment so beautifully and poetically in such a way as to flesh out Nathaniel and make him come alive again in our mind’s eyes.
“And this shall give life to thee.”

It really gave me chills. Beautiful.

RIP, loved you on one life to live! May your memory be eternal. My heart goes out to the family! May God be with all of you

I am so devasted, he was a wonderful actor and every body loved him. Rip.

R I P. Prayers for all involved. God speed!!!!!!

I hope he knew how much he was loved.

To overcome so much to have it end this way is just so terribly sad. My heart goes out to his family. As for the the incredibly wonderful and beloved actors of my One Life to Live, I am so sorry for your loss as well. Your fans still love you and stand with you forever.

God bless him and his family in this very ,very hard time.

It’s heartbreaking.

I once saw Nathaniel leaving the OLTl studio in NY. He was carrying out his bike. He stopped and looked up at all the fans and quickly approached them, signing autographs, having pictures taken, smiling the whole time. He was so humble and gracious. He will be forever missed. RIP sweet soul.

God bless you Nathaniel and your family your soap family prayers for you and yours.

Very sad for his mother. I’ve been following her posts on FB and she’s an amazing and strong woman and mother. The Craft is one of my favorite movies so I’m already a fan of his, and I like his acting on One Life To Live when I watch in on youtube. He and Marcie were a great couple. At least he is in heaven now and he got to be with his mother and family before he passed away so that gave them closure. I also read that it brought his mom and uncle back together after years of not talking so that’s a silver lining.

This is heartbreaking: Marcie singing “Iris” at Michael’s funeral on OLTL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxCp3x3WLyY&feature=share

Thank you for that, blake….haunting words and images, in retrospect…..beautiful!!

Of all the roles Nathaniel played, I loved his work on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. There, paired with the vivacious Kathy Brier , the 2 became , to me a super couple if ever there was one. I found it inspiring. A plus size girl all my life, who always got teased , made fun of , and believed no one could love me because I was far from thin. I watched Marcie and Michael/ Al , fall in love – he didn’t care that she was not skinny, he thought she was beautiful , I would tune in just to watch them , and it made me feel better about myself.

My thoughts and prayers , I send to his family and friends at this most difficult time.

Last night I watched a YouTube clip,of OLTL,I it was of Marcie singing at Als funeral,(: (:,I’ve had 2 loses in my family this year:( 🙁 , GOD Bless you Nathaniel,.prayers to his family and friends. Christine

I just hope his mother hears the love in all the support and knows she raised a great young Man who so many cared about and missed, RIP Nate.

Renee Goldsberry left a beautiful message as well. So did so many others.

He will be so missed.

I read Renee Goldsberry’s response on her Twitter page, she interacted a lot with Nathaniel. What a beautiful man and talented actor. He is so loved by his fans and will be missed. My prayers and thoughts go out to his mother and family.

Thank you to everyone who has posted comments about my cherished son Nathaniel here as well as so many other social media sites. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the love , prayers and support the Soap Family has given to me and our family at the most grief stricken time of our lives. Thank you for loving Nathaniel and for the love prayers and support which has come to me and our family from every corner of our country and the world. Words cannot express the love and gratitude I feel for each and everyone of you. Thank you so much!!! Love, light ,prayers and Aloha.
