General Hospital
General Hospital Adds New Character of Med Student Sabrina!
News today out of ABC. com is that General Hospital is making some additions for the fall to the hospital set, when a beautiful young student nurse by the name of Sabrina comes to Port Charles.
Actress Teresa Castillo has nabbed the role of the alluring Sabrina. She has previously been seen on The Secret Life of the American Teenager; and How I Met Your Mother. According to ABC.com, Sabrina will quickly make her presence felt at General Hospital. Look for one of her first storylines to involve another doctor!
So soapers the question is, which good looking doc could Sabrina being brought in for? Will she have a mysterious past? Is she a good gal or a bad gal? Weigh-in!
They do need some new staff at GH. I would have hoped for maybe Serena Baldwin or someone with ties to the GH cast.
It could be interesting…………………
Isn’t everyone going to be dead in a couple of days??
Hahahahahaha……
I am sure they will find out what the antidote is just in the nick of time…
i think that the only people that die will be some of the no name extras……………
well somebody’s gotta wheel all them dead bodies down to the morgue! might as well be someone gorgeous! tehehe
So… how long will she last before she’s killed off like Lisa and Maggie?
Ugh…Maggie. Worst, most worthless character in a long time.
oh there have been a few worthless characters – how about Helen’s “daughter” the white lady?
Can’t really comment on the new actress at all because I haven’t seen her work…I am hoping she has an agenda. I don’t think it takes a genius to deterrmine which doctor she will be paired with. But as a Scrubs fan it is probably obvious what my POV is so I won’t bother to restate it.
We have more than enough newbes on GH already. I feel the new writers have put our favs on the back burner to highlight the oltl cast and a few others. The Lante fan have really been disregarded and now Mcbain is the cop in charge and Dante is just gone?
I don’t think so about writers putting our favs on the back burner to hightlight the oltl cast & others…I see my favs everyday….Each one get’s their turn in the spotlight……Dante & Mcbain are working together…Dante isn’t being diregarded because of John….They are working together as a team….Helping each other out…..They are both great cops & good at what they do….
He’s not gone. I wish he was, but he’s still there. And Lulu is still harping every chance she gets.
Jason is going, which is a great start. Now is Sonny would only drown in a vat of his own tanning oil and the Falconeri’s, mother and son donated themselves to medical research things might start looking up even more than they are already.
We’ve got Anna Devane back, Duke Lavery, Robin returning, maybe Alan Quartermaine, and more to come of the GREAT old days, and some good new characters from OLTL. Time to jettison the dead wood and bring in a few well thought out newbies, fine with me.
this doesn’t mean this gal is staying long… remember how they announced the guy who played Delores’ husband… who was on what a few days?
Dante isn’t gone. McBain used to be with the FBI so he just adds some extra experience to the force when they need some extra help – kinda like Anna Devane does (when she’s around), having the experience of the WSB on her resume.
I rather like Dante/Jason/Jax/McBain all working together – even Sonny/McBain working on Joe Skully Jr stuff.
Why not a young medical student called Serena Baldwin, played by Jenn Lilly?
Totally agree Richard. They need to find a way to bring Jen Lilly back!
i would like to see the character of serena baldwin but i think it is a bit too soon for jenn lilly to come back as a different character…………
LOL . .I agree!!!
I wonder the same thing Michael. But we need some newer late 20-30’s folks.
Is there another doctor left besides Patrick now that Matt is enjoying the facilities of the local prison and Ewen may be joining him or going to join Heather in the loony bin? Well, there’s Monica, but don’t think that would be likely, even if she was seen more than once every few months.
It better not be steve, because himand olivia are great together.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I adore the name Sabrina, but I am afraid she is there to mix it up with Patrick. I miss Robin so much. 🙁
If they had to add new GH staff, I hope she is somehow already tied to existing characters. I like the idea of Serena Baldwin, as other posters mentioned.
Not excited, but I’ll reserve judgement and see how it plays out. I’m loving GH right now!
Why a new character? Why not a character like the aforementioned Serena or what about Liz’s sister, Sarah Webber? She’s already a doctor, has a natural sibling rivalry with Liz, and the hospital could use another staff member.
For the writers: just plain ‘why’!
obvious. people are getting sick, even the current hospital staff, they need extra help – she may only be there for a short time. who knows.
They keep adding characters that have no ties to Port Charles history or the core families. That drives me nuts…why not cast Scott’s daughter Serena baldwin? Why not cast Audrey Hardy’s biracial grandson Tommy Hardy Jr. ( Lord knows the show could use more color). Why not cast Rick Webber Jr, his son with Jenny blake? Why not cast someone else from the Ward Family. Why not give Epiphany another son or a daughter who wants to study Nursing?
Why not add a younger Quartermaine cousin?
Just like the Guza/Phelps regime the only history Cartini cares about is Corinthos history. The core families that founded the show-Hardys, Webbers, Quartermaines, Baldwins, theyve all been forgotten.
For long time viewers that really sucks.
PS please leave Jenn Lilly wherever she has gone. She was horrible!
“why not cast Scott’s daughter Serena baldwin?” cuz this gal’s going to be working with all those sick people at the hospital… if I saw a familiar family name coming to work at the hospital during a crisis, I’d think either they or someone else in that family is going to die and have this other by their side.
Serena can come back when it’s safe to be PC! :-))
As long as she isn’t paired up with Scott Reeves (Steve) I’m okay. I wish Steve would have left with Heather. Sorry but he needs to go.
Not for Patrick! I hope not bring Robin back
come on…natalie….bring natalie in.
They should have brought in some more oltl cast. That would boost ratins. Oh wait abc wants to kill it now keep it on the air.
ENOUGH WITH THE NEWBIES!!!
I swear I don’t recognize anyone on this show anymore! 3/4 of the cast has been on for 3 years or less. That’s HUGE!!!! I don’t know what I’m watching anymore!!! So many new faces I can’t keep track anymore! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!! This is getting RIDICULOUS!
/rant over.
Hmmm…well since there are only 5 doctors at GH- 2 women (who will doubtfully be paired with her), Ewen (who has gone off the deep end), Steve (who seems to have his hands full with the woman he’s currently with) and Patrick (newly widowed, hasn’t had decent airtime in months and currently has no story whatsoever)- gee, I wonder who it could be….? /sarcasm.
As a Scrubs fan, it was bound to happen they were going to pair Patrick up with someone, and I’m betting that will be this chick’s purpose. Fine. If she must, they can try. I get to sit back, not watch, and wait until Robin makes her way back to PC and reunites with Patrick…whether this chick is in his orbit or not. No doubt in my mind and not even a smidgen concerned. 😀
A med student whose storyline is with a doctor. The only doctors left are Patrick and Steven Webber. Matt is in prison, Keenan is leaving and Monica is “gone”. So what’s the big deal?
I want Blair!
FAB!
well it will proably be patrick but i hope not unless she is part of jerry and dr ewens plan
You know, kathleen, I was thinking the same thing after a thing I read regarding Robin. It said something to the effect that is there a reason why Robin would purposely stay away from Patrick and Emma? Makes me think this new girl might be a plant to keep Patrick busy and maybe to make Robin think he has moved on. Like we haven’t seen this scenario before, making it EVEN longer before they are reunited. 🙁
How do we know she won’t be tied to someone already on the canvas? Some fans really love to knock something down without even seeing it play out first.
Unless this character DOES have ties to the show, I hate that they’re bringing on someone new.
Or, maybe they’re going to kill off a few people with this virus and we just haven’t heard about it.
Anyway, unless they get rid of a few of the superfluous characters, there just isn’t room for any more. That’s why it seems like so many characters are back-burnered…they are trying to tell too many stories involving too many characters.
Could be another daughter of Sonny’s.
Stop adding new characters. Bring back the veterans and exited cast of “General Hospital” that we’ve wanted for years!
I totally agree with you Scott.
Hummm I hope it is not for Patrick but that would make sense it can not be Steve, are there any female docs left??
she looks sweet, I hope her character is not a bad on like Maggie or Lisa. Humm maybe we will get a male med student.
It’s probably going to be another crazy person. Seems like the last few times they’ve brought on new medical staff, they’ve been nuts, like Ewen and Lisa. Hopefully this is not just another recycled storyline.
Yawn!
Sabrina and Spinelli hook up and make geeky but beautiful music… perhaps they’ll get adventurous and find Robin for Patrick and Emma.
Patrick and Robin were boring…Patrick needs a new exciting storyline.
I love Sabrina, she gives you compassion for the underdog and I wish they would allow character Sabrina to really get back at Britt. Sabrina brings out the evil in Britt. When are they going to show the public the real Sabrina, what she really looks like. She is a very pretty young lady. Then maybe Dr. Drake will fall in love with her. You are a talented actress and I am rooting for Sabrina.
I think Sabrina is the missing Quartermaine … I would love to see where things go for her and Patrick but what about Robin?
