GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nathan Comes Clean About His Past To Maxie!

Courtesy/ABC

Courtesy/ABC

Monday’s episode of General Hospital saw the launching pad for the upcoming summer storyline that will definitely feature Bree Williamson (incoming Claudette), Ryan Paevey (Nathan), Molly Burnett (as temporary Maxie) and most likely Matt Cohen (Griffin), by deducing the secret that Nathan spilled to Maxie (Kirsten Storms).

In story, Nathan confesses to Maxie about his past with Claudette, and that their relationship had been imploding.  He began drinking one night after believing she had been cheating on him, although he had no proof.  Another time, he got called into the police station unscheduled to work, and then went out afterwards with some of the guys and got wasted.  When he returned home he found Claudette in bed with another man.  Nathan took out his gun and blindly shot at the guy.   However, Nathan doesn’t remember much after that, because he passed out.  When he awoke he saw blood on the sheets, but the guy was gone and he never saw him, nor did anyone ever press charges agains him, nor did he report it.

Maxie is more than upset saying that Nathan is not the man she thought he was.  She needs to go spend the night elsewhere, and that this secret could come back to bite them.

From all likelihood it would appear Griffin has to be the man Nathan shot, who never pressed charges.  After all, Griffin recognized Nathan a few months ago with a knee-jerk reaction, and has that bullet wound scar to prove it.

Watch Nathan’s admission to Maxie after the jump!  Are you rooting for Maxie and Nathan to get through this rough patch in their relationship?  Does the reveal pique your interest for the emergence of Claudette on to the scene? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

I’m surprised Griffin had the energy for a romp in the sack with Claudette, what with becoming a priest and a doctor at the same time- LOL.

That said I really don’t see where this story can go– Claudette comes back, then what? Is she going to have a relationship with Nathan or Griffin? If so who cares— are they going press charges now after all this time? What is the point of this story? There isn’t one except to provide a temporary obstacle in Nathan and Maxie’s relationship– it is such contrived nonsense– why can’t one soap couple have normal obstacles to overcome–sign. This is sounds like another one of these dead end stories that they will make up as they go along trying to make more interesting but never will be— like the whole fiasco that is Hayden Barnes

She will probably have had a child…is it Grif’s or Nate’s…and Grif is obviously the person he shot…and i dont really care!!!…and what makes the story less interesting is it will be a different Maxie dealing with Claudette!!!

Yeah, Jimmy. But, I find this story interesting because Griffin’s mysterious past attracted me from the onset. There is an enigmatic air about him. However, without Kirsten, the story’s complexion becomes pale in contrast. So, my interest may dissipate, albeit I like this story…….it holds promise.
I will say it again, I am not sure if Molly was the best choice here. We shall see. Maybe she’ll surprise us.

Exactly, Mary. Another new character (Claudette) to endure, in yet another storyline that has nothing to do with GH history or GH families.

Agree that it does seems contrived.

What you said, Mary.
All this has happened when? A decade ago? Maybe, the ‘mea culpa’ effect compelled Griffin to escape to the Seminary. Who came first? The doctor or the priest? Strand situation, Mary.
And, as you say, THEN WHAT??

Strange, not strand.

Griffen is ok and one of the better newbies…its just this bringing in more characters to move a story is a bit too much because they end up staying then other characters are introduced for them instead of utilizing the cast they have…the stories need more connection to regular cast members and some of their stories and better continuity instead of having some disappear for weeks like Brad and Lucas, Kristina and her male friend-its hard to stay interested in some of these characters when they aren’t shown for weeks who suddenly have a story then disappear for more weeks…same with Laura and Kevin-i dont think the writers even know what Laura’s mystery even is???

@jimn(leave it to beaver).
I love Griffin, too, Jimmy. But, I agree. Too many characters….too many stories to focus on….all over the map. Again, Jimmy; my head is a’spinnin’. I don’t want to see or spew green soup anymore. LOL.

Amen to ALL that, Mary SF. So dull and predictable. As Blanche once said to Rose on THE GOLDEN GIRLS after a story that was actually MORE compelling than the Nathan tale, “That is a big WHO CARES story.”

ahhhh ha!
Griff was doing the nasty with Claudette.
So, Claudette may very well be there for Griff not Nathan.

I wonder; was a Griff a priest then or after?
It’d be cooler if he was a priest at the time.

You are a depraved man, Su.

hi Dylan..
You see to be confused..
I am 100% woman; born female and will die female.
I hope that clears up your confusion .. ..

Dyla, my friend,
Someone else decided that Shay and I were also men, on these boards.
I am WOMAN: HEAR ME ROAR!!!! I have also said to you that as a woman, I KNOW su is a girl. She’s SuzieQ….will always be SuzieQ to me.
There are certain expressions that only a woman can relay in a certain way, and it takes another woman to grasp it.
Be nice.

At the time, su0000, at the time! Much more soapy, eh? 🙂

Hey, God is watching you…lol

He would have been too young to be both a priest or a doctor, su…….I think?
Training can take between ten years for a priest….longer for a doctor who specializes in one certain area.
It is just too incomprehensible for me. But, it’s a soap. I like the story….so, I go with the flow.
I have trepidations as Mary suggested. So, I do hope the ‘then what?’ becomes, ‘Ah, that’s what!.

I think it will be fun to see the Maxie sub as Nathan’s Maxie.
It is time for their break up, yes?

@su0000.
Lol, su. I hope you’re right. But, if you are familiar with Molly Burnett, I just do not see her personality mesh with Nathan’s.
Then again, Molly is an actress and as such, one hopes she adheres to the role.
The Maxie-Nathan breakup was imminent, as far as I am concerned. The tell-tale signs became apparent as soon as the name Claudette and her history with Nathan was mentioned.

Yeah, Molly can have the tendency to over act and come across as more childish instead of acting like an adult. It takes a special person to bring out Maxie’s qualities. Jen Lilly did an excellent job because she wasn’t trying to impersonate Kirsten Storms as Maxie – she was portraying the character of Maxie. I hope Molly can tap into that and make her mark on the character. I personally think she would make a good Hope on B&B.

Boring……also…..sam/jason/nick/liz/”hatechel”….totally over Carson&family too…
Only possible s/l I like is weekly laura/kevin..

Agree, these terrible writers need to go.

MORE LAURA AND KEVIN–YES!

I love seeing those two together. Laura and Kevin have a very calming effect on the scene……easy going without dark clouds swirling around. We need that peaceful break amidst so many tempestuous relationships and anger.

One word: stupid….

And in a couple weeks it’s gonna be four newbies in this story, Nathan will have the longevity out of all of them. Lame-O….

I see it as something new to have the step in actors on screen.
At the least it’s new .. GH rarely has new anything so it will be interesting.
I’m looking forward to the newbies.

THIS IS ANOTHER STORY TO FAST FORWARD….SOOOO BAD!

This isn’t GH’s fault this time. KS is not her best, so let’s just hope she feels better and returns soon

I love Bree!! What I dont love is this show casting big name talent in throwaway roles. This mystery Claudette is just pointless filler! Mark my words……she will be a distant memory a year from now. Paging Claire Labine!!!!!

First, I think Ryan Paevy has improved so much as an actor. I always liked him…even when his acting was a bit stilted his gorgeous face/eyes conveyed emotion.
Second, I’m glad he’s finally getting a story
though are we ever going to find out who his father is???
Third, it’s ridiculous for Maxie to be so angry and distant. He tried and tried to tell her the truth but she kept telling him she didn’t want to hear it. He obviously has a conscience, he’s been troubled by this for a long time, he is still the same good guy and by her own admittance she’s had her own challenges with truth. Did she forget her flrtation and friendship with Johnny, a guy who kills for a living? By contrast Nathan’s act was a regrettable, drunken crime of passion. (Not sure if I could deal with that truth in real life but as far as soaps go it’s a comparatively low offense).
I’m looking forward to the story. Bree’s great; I’m hoping Mattdreamy Cohen steps up his game. I’ve seen him in other shows and he’s very good; he needs a little life injected into his current role. Not sure about the temporary Maxie…that unfortunately might lessen what could be a good love triangle (quadruple!) story….

This reveal — like all of Jean and Shelly’s writing — just left me with a feeling of “that’s it?”

It’s sad that after yesterday’s flashbacks the unseen Claudette became the most interesting character in this “story.”

(And while we’re on the subject of lackluster twists can we just get to the “big” reveal that Lucas was injected by Dr. Mays who is also probably the head of the black market organ ring that provided Jocelyn with her transplant?)

Love it, Alan. I do believe you said this before. Today, your words came to me as I scrutinized Dr. Mays (sp). He seemed so affable in defending Finn….but, I can see he has an agenda. He is cunningly trying to show reason to one and all.
I think you are right, Alan. Kudos.

Yup!

Another episode of newbie back story galore; Hayden and mom, this crap about Nathan’s past and even the attempted murder of Lucas (which I’m still not convinced won’t be finished) has been made all about Finn’s back story. Could this show get any more boring?

I like Griffin but I’m not into this storyline at all. Just get Griffin and Maxie together already, and dump Nathan who is sooooo boring. (And I am loving Hayden’s mother so far.)

Who cares? I feel like I barely know Nathan, he hasn’t been on the show that long. Maxie, and almost every female on this show, has zero credibility with being angry at Nathan because of all the mob sympathizing that they do. I like Griffin, but I just don’t care about him yet. This is your summer storyline GH? What a contrived mess…..and add yet another newbie into the mix and this is a disaster.

So much about the Claudette story makes no sense and is jarring to watch. Nathan shot someone in a drunken rage. Really? Nathan who’s been the steadiest and most moral person on the show? We’ve seen his jealousy before but he’s never once been drunk or acted inappropriately. And how does Obrecht, who only recently came into his life, know the story? Nathan would confide in her but not Nina, Dante or Maxie? And why have the writers chosen to make Maxie a hypocrite? Given her history of lies and deception she should immediately be understanding and willing to forgive Nathan. Instead her logic is — you always knew I was a liar so I’ve been consistent, but you never were a liar therefore I can ever trust you again. What? Nathan should totally call her out on that crap. I love the character of Geiffin and I hope at the very least this story explains how and why he became a priest.

I see your point, Melissa. Many ‘things’ about Nathan’s past do not jive with me. Firstly, Nathan’s involvement with Claudette, who, by the by, was supposedly an ingenue, happened years ago. So, how old was he? Twelve? I love Bree, but already there are discrepancies in the time frame, as Claudette looks so much older than Nathan.
I am guessing Nathan was the ‘ingenue’ mesmerized by an older, more sophisticated, wily woman? Double LOL.
Also, I am assuming Griffin knows exactly who Nathan is, and is biding his time? Why? Is he a good guy who is willing to let sleeping dogs lie….or, is he lying in wait…then pounce at the opportune moment? For what reason? Is Griffin still in love with Claudette? He has the advantage here.
Poor Nathan! Because of his drunken stupor, at the time, he is in such a vulnerable position right now.
As far as Liesl is concerned, you’re right. She did just come into his life as his mother. However, it is very possible that she was abreast of everything happening in his life. Did she keep in touch with MadMaddie?
Yes, the ‘being truthful and honest’ scene between Maxie and Nathan was a bit much….off the wall, as it were. So lame. Very well put, Melissa. You made me chuckle about Maxie’s logic. I suppose these writers think their audience is moronic. LOL.

I’m so glad you liked the post and agree and I love your point about the timeframe for the Claudette / Nathan relationship.

@Melissa.
I’m glad you see my point, as well, Melissa. I always enjoy your posts.
Ain’t it grand when we agree? LOL.

I join the chorus and say this story is disappointing. There’s no suspense in what could happen. I love the actress coming to play Claudette but who cares what her arrival will mean. Nathan is belatedly indicted? If griffin hasn’t come forward by now chances are he won’t. Claudette could go after Nathan or griffin? So what? And yea when did Doctor-father griffin find time to have an affair? Between mass and brain surgery?

Right on, Anne! Perhaps Griffin’s reluctance in coming forward and making himself known means that he, himself, has something to hide?
I think all this went down before Griffin even entertained joining the priesthood. He may have been in Med School, at the time, though. Still, we are talking YEARS here.
These guys are just too young for all this to have happened long, long time ago, as Nathan said to Maxie. That’s what bothers me the most about this story. The time frame. Was it specified?

Lol!!!!
Maybe in the confessional booth?!

Too funny, Letemestc8ke!!

This episode was a mess. If Hayden and Liz are sisters, then I hope they take their mother and leave town.

I think that would be awesome. They are noth atellar actresses and it would “be on!!!”

“They are both stellar actresses”

#ihatetypos

With all due respect, Lauren…I disagree. When Mrs Berlin walked in on Liz’s and Hayden’s ‘scuffle’, the scene was too coincidentally palpable. Almost comical. There was a definite intent by the writers for having both women call out “Mother”, albeit Liz was mockingly parroting Hayden.
That is the reason I suggested they were sisters. From what I have gathered, Liz has never known her mother? Is that true? Wouldn’t that be a twisted, cruel irony of fate, if true? So, I do not think my assumption is too far-fetched.
I love both Rebeccas. Yeah, Liz makes my blood boil sometimes. So, if she were not the true thespian she is, she could not draw out any feelings from the viewer.
The same may be said for Hayden.
No, I do not want either to leave. And, now that ‘Mother’ flew in like a whirlwind…..feathers will definitely be stirred and plucked.

The outcome of this storyline is what most people predicted. Another new character, Claudette, will be on-canvas, and we’ll probably never see her and lose even more interest in this storyline. Storylines are dropped on a regular basis; characters are not seen and forgotten about. Also, I thought Maxie was being hypocrite, chastising Nathan for keeping a secret and lying to her, when that is how Maxie rolls most of the time.

I’m loyal to GH and am always willing to give a story line a chance. I just wish I had more faith in the current writing team. To begin with, Maxie’s reaction to the news didn’t ring true for me. Too many stories have a predictable payoff but no lasting impact or consequences. Also, many stories meander and mutate as if there is no long term vision and, in some cases, no completion at all. I am excited to see Bree Williamson on my screen again however.

Meander and mutate….Words that would not come to me, Mister Media. Perfect fit!!!!! I tried expressing the same refrain. But, you say it best!!!! How true. A beginning…but, no middle or end. Everything is left in limbo. The stories never ripen. Why? Just as you say….” …no vision…”.

Who writes this crap…. seriously… how do they keep a job?

Now let me get this straight. The Nathan who first showed up in Port Charles, the one who could make Dudley Do-Right blush , and hunted down Cyrus Clay for the unforgivable sin of putting Nina in a coma (which we now see would have been FULLY justified had he ACTUALLY done it) is the same Nathan who shot a man in a drunken rage and never owned up to it and continued on as an officer of the law in at least two different precincts? Right. And MORGAN is the one in a mental hospital?

Sorry for the typo, should say SILAS Clay. My bad.

I’m rooting for Maxie to be in a relationship with an interesting character. Nathan is a bore.

http://imasoapfan.blogspot.com/

I completely agree with this. Maxie should have a boyfriend as interesting as she is.

Ah, but what a hunk, Nathan is!!!! Love his easy-going personality. He’s HOT….from any angle. LOL.

Snooze! The only thing saving this story is how much I always enjoy KS as Maxie. RP as Nathan is doing the best he can with this story, but I just don’t care about his stupid past. Maybe if Griffin had been hitting on Maxie more than this would be more interesting but it is falling so flat for me.

Griffin backed off when he realized Maxie had a boyfriend. If I remember correctly that was before he found out about and recognized Nathan. But he said he didnt want to get close to a woman he couldn’t have…a lesson learned when he was shot??? Thus, he’s been trying to not hit on Maxie even though he seems attracted to her.

Let’s not forget Griffin is a Roman Catholic priest. Lol, Rose….what we may want to happen between Maxie and him is taboo. Then again, Griffin is first and foremost a man.
He must have incredible willpower, if he is attracted to Maxie. Plus, imagine the torture he will go through when Claudette shows up. Chances are he is still hung up on her. I think that’s why he became a priest…to make amends for whatever he’s hiding.
Are his regular visits to the hospital’s chapel meant to ask God for forgiveness for his unholy thoughts and the strength to resist temptation? Is that feasible?

This is exactly why this soap never really moves up in the ratings and stays up. It tells such stupid stories. So Bree will arrive as his ex-lover and a forced love triangle will ensue with no real need for it being forced. Nor does ANYTHING EXCUSE THE USE OF A GUN ESPECIALLY BY A COP!

Sorry, it was attempted murder that Nathan essentially covered up. Its not a story thats new because we constantly see Sonny, Jason and the Corinthos spawn pull out their guns and use them instead of brains! I don’t get why the writer on this show still has a job when he cant tell compelling story without it involving a gun.

Does he not read the paper? Police violence? Gun control? etc. is not something that papers in this upstate New York hamlet ever write about and it would be amazing if the show actually had Molly lead a “GUN CONTROL” story and eventually see the likes of Sonny, Jason, Julian, Ava etc give up their weapons for stories that we can all relate to.

Just sick and EFFIN tired of the only story GH can tell is with an old character, GUN McPISTOL-LOADED.

GET ORIGINAL

I find myself getting really confused also, Paul. With so much violence and so many bad deeds, where are the nice people and good deeds to balance things out? Even our supposed “heroes”, like Dante, Lulu, Nathan, Michael, Sabrina….they’ve all done underhanded things lately. And don’t even start on how Nikolas has been trashed. Carly & Sonny are beginning to look angelic in comparison. I’m starting to feel depressed when each show ends.

I’d like to ask a question – without inciting a riot. Why are some fans so stuck on core characters and so objectionable to new characters getting established on a soap? In your real life are you only limited to your nucleus family members? Don’t you have friends. People you know from work? Friends of relatives that you get introduced to and you hit it off with them and they become a part of your life. I just don’t get why new characters get so much hate-o-rade. I do understand when core characters are put on the back burner for a seemingly long time, but I think it’s just to give the new characters roots and fill in their background. Some writers are good at coming back around to core characters and balancing the mix. Other writers, well not so much. I guess I just like new faces on the scene sometimes. And GH is hiring the world so….

Oh, I’m with you, Letemeatc8ke. I welcome new characters, young, old and in-between. Your point is well-taken. Plus, new characters are necessary tools/foils to mold a story and another character; core or not.
However, I think, at least for me, that said characters are continuously thrown in, sometimes all at once, and at a fast pace. Most of us would love to see a storyline, once in a while, reach a climax and an end before being inundated by new faces and storylines.

Nancy Lee Grahn’s Star-Studded ALS Fundraiser Reveals “I’ll Be There” Video Featuring Soap Opera Notables

Talk about your impressive line-up! It’s a soap fans dream and for a great cause. General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) is prepping her one-night only ALS fundraiser which will feature many of her friends and co-stars.

The benefit is set for May 4th in Glendale, California. Slated to participate are Genie Francis, Jane Elliot, Peter Bergman, Maurice Benard, Eileen Davidson, Thorsten Kaye, Michelle Stafford, Stephen Nichols, Rena Sofer, Jason Thompson, Kelly Monaco, Melissa Claire Egan, Maura West, Kristina Wagner, Gregory Harrison, Trevor St. John, Kate Mansi, Kirsten Storms, Cynthia Watros, and many others.

On Wednesday, Grahn took to her social media and released an “I’ll be there” video shout-out featuring, Monaco, Elliot, Bergman, Bernard, West, Harrison, St. John and more. In a touching and important moment in the new video, Michelle Strogny, who is battling ALS, is featured.

Photo: ABC

Previously, in speaking with Soap Opera Digest on the impetus of the event, Grahn recalled, “I was actually doing Zoom events during Covid and I met this woman that I just fell in love with, Michelle Strojny. At the time, Michelle had been living with ALS for four years. Now, it’s five years. She is a mom of a teenage son, she has the most wonderful husband, and she has been dealing with this [disease] for quite a while. And obviously, there isn’t a cure yet. It’s not survivable yet. But as she says, it’s not incurable. Nothing is; it’s underfunded. But anyway, I just really dug this woman. She is so grounded and filled with grace, and she spends all of her time working to raise money for the cause. We did a fundraiser for her last year and then I thought, ‘You know what? The soaps don’t ever get together to do something for charity.’ Collectively, we have this amazing community and we don’t collectively use it for a good cause, and I think it’s such an easy thing for us to do and we could potentially really make a difference.”

As GH viewers know, Gregory Harrison is playing the character of Gregory Chase, who is also battling ALS in a touching storyline that is currently playing out shedding a light on this disease.

For information on Nancy’s event, including the stars who are s scheduled to participate click here. To purchase tickets to the event click here.

Check out the video featuring Nancy’s friends and co-stars below.  Now let us know, your thought son the line-up for the benefit and helping raise awareness and funds for ALS research via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’ Writer Shannon Peace Let Go, and Shares on Sprina: “One of My Only Regrets is to Not Have the Opportunity to Develop That ‘Ship’ Further”

As General Hospital’s new head writing team of Elizabeth Korte and Patrick Mulcahy gets off the ground and running, there are still changes a foot on the writing team.

Now comes word via breakdown writer Shannon Peace that she is no longer on contract with the long-running ABC soap heading into its 61st season. Peace shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram, thanking the fans, and the show for the opportunity and the importance of diversity in the writers room.

Peace began, “After almost 3 years on staff and 106 episodes penned, I am no longer on contract with General Hospital. Writing for this country’s longest running television serial drama has been an education of epic proportions; I will forever be grateful that I earned my WGA card on a daytime fixture that holds memories for so many.” (Peace pictured below with GH EP Frank Valentini and script writer, Charlotte Gibson from about ten months ago).

Photo: SPeaceIG

Shannon added “Even more importantly, as the sole Black breakdown writer (and only POC in the writers room) during my tenure, I pushed for vital interactions and discussions that prioritized inclusion, visibility, and representation”

The writer pointed to the example of vital interaction when in story, “Stella and Portia’s frank July 2022 conversation about the role race played in Esme’s framing of Trina is just one example of the impact I’m gratified to have had.”

Acknowledging former GH co-head writers was also part of Peace’s farewell expressing, “Appreciation to my former bosses, Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor – not only taking a chance on me, but for valuing my opinion and championing my voice.”

Courtesy/ABC

Many GH fans know that Peace was key to the development of the love story between Trina Robinson and Spencer Cassadine as played by Tabyana Ali and Nicholas Chavez. Shannon gave a special shout-out to ‘Sprina’ fans, “I also want to thank fans who were supportive of my work, especially the recognition of my love for ‘Sprina’. One of my only regrets is not having to develop that ‘ship’ further.”

She concludes her statement with,”In the aftermath of a historic writer’s strike that shed new light on the troubling ways writers are regarded in daytime, my sincere hope is that General Hospital recommits to valuing staff writer efforts and input, with a more intentional focus on diverse viewpoints — and thrives for another 60 years.”

Accompanying her post, Shannon added, “Thank you all for the love and support these last few years. I hope GH fans get all they hope for and more!”

So, what do you think about GH not renewing Shannon’s contract? Will there be more continued changes afoot? What do you think is the future of ‘Sprina’ anyway at this point as viewers wait to see if Nicholas Chavez officially returns to the show?  Comment below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Learns Britt Died and Tells Anna He Has Been Working For Cates Since November 2021

On the Tuesday, March 26th of General Hospital, Anna (Finola Hughes) and the viewers learn about where Jason (Steve Burton) has been for over two and half years. However, Jason gets some news of his own.

Anna is visiting Jason at the PCPD interrogation room. She asks him if he shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), which he flatly denies. Anna believes him, but she tells Jason it doesn’t matter, because video footage shows him on the roof at the time of the shooting

When talk turns to Jason not willing to speak without his lawyer present, Anna can’t grasp why Jason would instead spend an hour alone talking with John Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

Photo: ABC

It is then that Anna brings up that John went by “Jagger” and that the two of them knew each other in high school. Jason doesn’t recall much of his time in high school following his brain injury, but then he gets furious realizing John knew about “Jason’s” past. That is when Jason slams the table and tells Anna, “I’ve been working for John Cates since November 2021.”

Next, Jason explains further that he has been working as an informant for the FBI. Anna wants to know how this came about and he tells her that after the tunnel collapsed, and he couldn’t make it to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud)… all of a sudden he sees Anna’s face drop.  Anna is the first person to tell him that Britt died and was murdered. She tells Jason the killer is in custody, but he continues to be shocked, overwhelmed with tears welling up in his eyes. Realizing he has to pivot to save his life, Jason continues telling Anna how he wound up working with John.

Jason explains that after the tunnel collapse in Greece, FBI agents grabbed him and placed him under arrest and took him to Quantico where he met John. At Quantico, John played a recording of RICO violations and offered Jason a deal if he agreed to be an informant against Pikeman, the illegal arms dealer.

Anna hears from Jason that he thinks Pikeman is selling illegal arms to anyone flagged by the NSA but has ties to the WSB which they needed a civilian to infiltrate their organization as a military soldier, a mercenary.

Jason tells Anna he was a part of the team brought into eliminate Sonny (Maurice Benard). Every time an attempt was made on Sonny’s life over the last two years, a different team was sent to do the job. Anna gets furious when she learns that John told Jason his job was to kill Sonny and she was with John at the warehouse that night. Jason ensured the sniper missed Sonny and left the rifle behind. However, they were supposed to meet an extraction team. Before he was shot, Dante saw it was Jason on the roof and when he turned around with his hands over his head, Dante was shot by the other guy. Jason says if Dante dies, he’ll be charged with capital murder and then will be useless to the FBI.

Photo: ABC

Meanwhile, John visits Bobbie’s and runs into Carly (Laura Wright). She learns Jason is in custody and is going to head to the PCPD. Before she does, Carly has some words with Cates when she learns not only does John have a vendetta against Sonny, but Jason too.  Carly tells John he should recuse himself from the case.

So, what did you think about the moment when Jason learned Britt died? What do you think of Jason’s return storyline thus far and what we learned about Jagger/Jason and more? Comment below. But first, check out a moment from today’s GH with Jason and Anna.
