GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sam Shoots Shiloh, Carly In Labor, Nina & Valentin’s Wedding Approaches

Courtesy/ABC

Last week on General Hospital there were some major developments for the characters of Port Charles.  First and foremost, it looks like Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) reign of terror has come to an end, thanks to Sam (Kelly Monaco), the person he came after from the very beginning when he arrived on the scene in Port Charles.

After a major confrontation where Shiloh admits to Sam that he killed his father, and then comes after her where it looks like he might rape her. Jason (Steve Burton) saves the day and shoots Shiloh, but guess what? Shiloh was wearing a bullet-proof vest and he is not done … by a long shot.  Later, Shiloh attacks Jason with a bat on the deck of the ‘Haunted Star’, and after a struggle … where Shiloh sneers he has been waiting to kill Jason for a long time, Sam shoots Shiloh in the back with a flare gun.  Next, Shiloh screams and goes overboard, but did he, like many others, survive the steely waters of Port Charles?

Courtesy/ABC

Turns out looks like Shiloh is soap opera dead, ‘dead’, as a gurney is wheeled into General Hospital with a body bag on it.  Chase (Josh Swickard) is along with the body and says he cannot confirm it’s Shiloh until a proper ID is made.  Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is there at the hospital and say she will do it.  And, she tells all that this is the body of “David Henry Archer… Shiloh”.

However, a nurse who looks a little suspicious was tending to Sam’s wound at the hospital, and the next thing you know she gets in touch with Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry)at the PCPD.  Earlier, said nurse, had a flashback to Jason and Sam talking about how Shiloh was killed.  Is this nurse part of a contingency plan Shiloh left behind to stick it to Jason and Sam if he should get killed? Could be! But, Sam is then called by Jordan to come down to the PCPD to answer some more questions.  Will Sam go to jail for shooting Shiloh?

Courtesy/ABC

While all of this is going down, Carly (Laura Wright) goes into premature labor, which is not good.  Now she is faced with having a c-section two weeks earlier than planned and is very scared.  Jason is there at the hospital with her, until Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrives.  Now that Carly and Sonny are together; will their baby survive?

Elsewhere, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) continues to fight for Franco (Roger Howarth), but feels she has to have him locked up in a psychiatric facility in order to protect him.  He is very enraged because he believes he is truly Drew Cain.  Will Liz’s plan to get the man back she loves work, or backfire, and send him into the waiting arms of Kim (Tamara Braun)?

Photo: JPI

And finally, the wedding day of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) is fast approaching, talks of Bachelor and Bachelorette parties is happening and Sasha (Sofia Matteson) is ready to unburden her secret – that she is not the bio-daughter of Nina!  Will the secret come out before the nuptials? At the nuptials? Will Valentin and Nina tie-th- knot? And Valentin has more trouble ahead as the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine could play a big part in bringing him down.  If Laura (Genie Francis), Hayden (Rebecca Budig) or Curtis (Donnell Turner) can find it, it could mean Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) is the rightful heir to the Cassadine fortune and all that comes with it.

So, what did you think about the shooting of Shiloh? Glad he is gone for good?  Will Sam be sent to prison?  Do you think Carly’s baby will be OK? Will Liz get Franco back anytime soon? And do you think Sasha will come clean with Nina? Share your thoughts via the comment section below as we head into a new week on GH.

A bullet proof vest. GOTCHA! A flare gun. Who got who huh? A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Especially when it’s shared by three people. LOL. A fake daughter and a fake Last Will and Testament. I’m sorry but…ZZZZZZZ!

Hi,
I want Coby Ryan Mclaughlin back on General Hospital. Please contact the producers and writers. Tell them to bring him back
Thanks

Yes GH should bring Shiloh / Colby Back

So so sick of Carly, Sonny, Jason and Sam.

Well I think Carly’s doctor is going to be the one hot tab Martin! He will bring some well needed levity to the show. Every one loves Michael Knight. I think Carly‘s baby with the spina bifida will be a intriguing story line and a learning lesson for all of us about this disease. General Hospital always has lessons to learn for us. I do agree that Jason and Sam need a story and Sam needs to smile. She is not Jason. I love the babies switch story and I assume it will be heating up for the November sweeps. General Hospital needs to bring back all of Sonny’s henchmen because they are good actors and brothers also. Their father on the show was a great mobster. We need a little more mobster with tongue in cheek humor in the show. I know they were trying to step back a bit because of the shootings in US, but what the hey. It is a soap. How about a tornado that last for a long time not just one day. I remember the train wreck was a great story. Keep Spinelli on and bring his daughter back onto the show and get something going there. He’s a great actor and everybody likes him. And of course Diane she’s got to have more cases. I could go on and on we need to get rid of Kim. She was a much better Carly.

Helena2
I don’t understand what you meant by Carly’s Dr.??I like Michael Knight too, but he seems awful creepy in this part. I don’t know about a tornado, but a hurricane would be more likely in N.Y. I like Spinelli too but a little bit of him goes a long way. He can be exhausting. I hope it all goes well with the new baby, but that’s not likely.
And do we really want to lose Kim? Those shoulders could easily hold 4-5 hangers on each one. Yea I know, Iam so bad.
Oh and I don’t see Nina and Valentin getting married when she finds out everything he’s done and when Willow turns out to be her real daughter, what will happen to Sasha? I really like and feel sorry for her, even after she did commit fraud, with Valentin’s help.

Hi, Miss Violet—–I am worse….please do not let my tongue loose—-I try my best to hold back. LOL
We shall see on which side of the wall Michael ends up—-West? East? Good? Bad?
I want Kim gone—-cannot stomach her–didn’t like her on Days, either. There’s something about her that turns me right off—I love Roger and I did enjoy Feanco for a while—especially when paired with Stafford’s Nina—-but, the last year or so? He’s hitting my ‘unsympathetic’ nerve—now, he and Kim together are making me foam at the mouth with “yuckkiness”.
At this point, I care not what happens with Valentin anf fakeNina–not interested. Oddly enough, albeit Sasha brought the deceipt upon herself ( desperate times….etc.), I feel sorry for her—-she is fundamentally a good girl. I think Michael senses that ….ergo, he is keeping her secret.
Lulu is not the most magnetic, journalist-extraordinaire personality either—-all I can say is watch-out—-stop being so naive—-
LOL, Miss Vi—I grew up with my Grandmother, always whispering in my ear ( in her Scottish brogue), ” Never trust a man”. Yet, she’s still married to my grandfather. She’s a character.
My point is that, I think, Dustin is hiding something—-no one on soaps ( especially newbies) —is so spotless. Well-laundered, maybe….but, not fully ‘pure’.
Stay well, my friend. ❤️

Yes I agree with you Michael E Knight seems creepy when he was talking with Nelle

Thank you, Davy…..agree a million and one percent.

Shiloh death was a big BLAAH!
It was minor league stuff..
Sam killing him, ehh nothing there either.
It was an empty death scene/ending.

Carly in labor- I could care less.
that story (with or without the baby’s death) has been a total sleeper.

Nina and Valentin will not got married, it’s a given.
No excitement there.

What in hades has happened to GH, it has sipped into a void of nothingness.
What a shame for a great soap to fall so low.
and-
why on earth has the writers and producer been allowed to let the falling happen, that’s the big question.
GH needs to clean out the whole staff and bring in new fresh talent to write.

i agree with all you said…guess stranger things have happen-lol…completely bored and rarely watch any more…

Here’s a thought. If you’re going to extend a soaps contract do one thing right for a change. Not a contest but a blog or post where viewers can suggest honestly how to fix things. Let viewers post storylines they want to see and how they’d work. Then have a team of people plus the EP and head writers take a serious look and draw from what’s posted. Viewers aren’t thick headed, and are extremely passionate about their daytime dramas. I can guarantee you’d glean about 2-3 years of continued afternoon love and action packed drama after it’s all said and done. I doubt you’d be mind swapping, having fake cults and complete out of nowhere character change if they did. Guaranteed. We KNOW our shows. But they won’t. Because they know better. How to keep viewership stagnant 101. Apparently that must be soap code somewhere.

This is high drama? Please. This is boring and lackluster. Laura Wright being Wes’ beard has gotten old. Parking Lot Peter has got to go! He’s involved in nearly every storyline, and is a horrible actor.

Well I’m glad Shilo finally dead. It’s been dragging on way too long. I am all for anything Cassadine so I hope this next phase brings lots of them back it’s the best time ever and the Cassadines are fighting. I just wish Luke was here. Can’t wait for the rightful heir and his son to come back. Get the drift

I am just glad that the whole “Dawn of Day” story is over or is it thanks to that snoopy nurse. Coby; ex-Shiloh is dead. You have to give Coby a lot of credit for his creepy portrayal of Shiloh. Had he not made that very short stint on Y&R, I’m not sure that GH would’ve discovered him.

Yeah, the wedding of Valentin and Nina won’t happen, thanks to Sasha unburdening herself, Cassandra Pierce, Leisel and the codicil coming to light that will bring Valentin down. Nikolas will be back (remember that psychic telling Laura that her son was in danger or something along those lines and she thought it was Lucky??? Why hasn’t she put it together that the psychic was talking about Nikolas…) and he will let everyone know that he survived being shot by Valentin and falling over the terrace.

Carly and Sonny??? Blah. I even fastforwarded through their vow renewal crap after Mike married Yvonne. It was sickening to say the least.

I am enjoying the teen set as they navigate the highs and lows of high school and everything that goes with it. It’s also refreshing that the writers are letting Joss deal with the loss of Oscar. I am betting that they will put her and Dev (another useless character IMO) together. Just put her and Cam together already.

The memory mapping story is the dumbest story since Reva went through a painting on GL. Get it over and done with already.

Have I pretty much said everything everyone was thinking???

YES!!!

I am glad shiloh is gone. Sam does not go to prison. Carlys baby will be fine and liz will get franco back. I hope Sasha tells Nina before the wedding. And I love the Peter and Maxi together, please dont take them apart.

Bring back Haley Erin !! And where is Griffin ? Maybe he has been with Kiki.

Cindy
Where have you been dear? Kiki/Haley was killed and Griffin left the show, as he certainly isn’t dead.

So glad Shiloh is finally gone. Please bring Franco back! And please wrap-up the baby switch storyline and unite Michael with his son!

I wonder if GH will ever return to the show I once knew and loved? Here are some issues with Thursday [9-26] and Friday [9-27-] shows.

Why is it that Wylie has been kidnapped by Shiloh and Lucas stays at the hospital to tend to his patients?

Why in the hell wouldnt Jason check to see if Shiloh was dead when he shot him?

Why was Jordan questioning Sam and Jason like they just killed Edward or Lila? DUMB!

Why did Willow have to confirm Shiloh’s body? Didnt Chase know who he was?

And finally, why is it that Epiphany gets to yell and bully Franco? He is a patient. He did nothing wrong. His mind was altered. Give the guy a break. I cannot stand her! And speaking of yelling, that seems to be Olivia’s MO theses days, as well!

Timmm
You are right on all counts. Also Jordan’s getting quite ? , you can fill in the blank here. Also Sam piloting the Haunted Star, yea right. I laugh just imagining it.

Jordan is turning into an unlikable character. Where is Mac?

Yesh, T—I never got into nuJordan—I just tolerate her.

You left out that Monica is also drinking the kool aid Franco is not Drew I believe this rates right up with the dumbest story ever ! We all know Kim is going to become pregnant ugh

Yeah, for sure, Oscar #2 is on his way!

Kay
That would be something, especially if Drew becomes Franco again. Kim still will not have Drew’s child, but Franco’s.Ugh is right!

Yeah, Miss Vi…..that’s the twisted irony.

They’re all nuts, Kay—LOL

Oh dont prolong the juicy. Glad Shiloh is history and keep it that way… not a fan. Let Carly find her midding heart and let baby be strong and vibrant Sam should be found a hero as the nurse is arrested, who causes an uproar and shot by the PCPD.
OH Shash must reveal her secret at the nuptials and a new story line begin … Spencer the cad time to rane and those that threw him to the wolves find many days behind bars.

Cannot stand Shiloh Soooooo glad he died!!! YAY!
Cannot believe producers are actually having Sonny have another child!!! Ridiculous!!!! Stupid storyline of Sonny and Carly redoing vows! Mike marrying Yvonne was dumb too! Thank goodness for fast-forward for those days!!
Pretty much agree with ALL that was posted above!! Olivia yells too much! She better not take Roco away from LuLu! Bring Franco back! Where’s Griffin? Where’s Nicholas? Make Ava happy and bring him back and let those two get together!!!
Make this show more exciting to watch before it gets taken off the air! I’ve been watching it from day 1!!!!!
Please!

Maybe they don’t want to save the show? I think their would have been some major changes some kind of new direction? I think KM is just going thru the motions she looks bored

Hope that Shiloh is dead. Sasha comes clean before the wedding. Liz gets Franco back. Kim leaves. Hayden leaves Finn alone. She up and left him..lied about losing their baby..now she wants to reunite?? Uh..no.and let Nicholas return!!!

Can’t wait for the wedding, if in fact it really happens. It’s bound to be explosive no matter what. Will Laura stop the wedding with the newly found codicil?

Re: Valentin’s bachelor party. That karaoke song he did just about put me into hysterics. I know the man can sing, as I’ve heard him at the Nurse’s Ball, but today he sounded like his underwear was pulled up to his neck! I’m sure it was probably him, but the lip syncing just didn’t go with the music. Somehow made him appear ridiculous.

Valentin is an irritant, Miss Vi—-a Quasimoto facsimile.
He can sing, but I agree, that was dumb—-yuck!!
Not only that, but he butchers the French language—he keeps calling Charlotte “petit”… she’s a girl—-should be “petite”, where the last “t” is stressed.
I am done with him and fakeNina. Such a change in personality—-such forced acting on her part.

Can’t really tell if Michael is a Dr. Frankenstein yet……I could never picture him as a baddie…..but, associating with unsavory Nelle, does give me pause.
Oh, by the by….(aside)–I knew, even before she left, that Hayden had not lost Finn’s baby—-I mentioned that fact a few times—And, many of us expected her return.
What are the chances Finn and Hayden will get back together? What about Nikolas and Ava?

I’m a Kelly Monaco fan this is stupid and dumb!!!

Oh my, they are catching on to Peter. Maybe he’ll be gunned down in the hotel parking lot. So many viewers disliked him, so I thought he might turn out a good guy.Poor Anna and Maxie.
