Wondering how Brenda Corinthos will be exiting the Port Charles canvas? Well according to her portrayer, General Hospital’s Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo there is a big twist ahead. The talented actress took to twitter this morning and announced it after finishing her exit interview with TV Guide’s Michael Logan.

VMG tweeted, “Hey guys Just finished TV Guide interview with Michael Logan. Gave official last day but exit story must stay a surprise.  It’s a twist!!!”

So this begs the question soapers, what do you think will be the big twist sending off Brenda Corinthos this time? Let us know!

I miss her already

I think she’ll get pregnant with Sonny’s kid… and also realize (somehow?) that Lucian really is her kid, too… and Jax is the father. She and Jax will go off to find Lucian. Brenda will leave to protect all her children… but not to be with Jax. Sonny will go crazy, especially if/when he finds out Brenda’s pregnant.

Her and Robin take their kids and leave town. That would be really nice. LOL.

She’s a talented, Emmy winner too!

I really love VMG and Brenda and I don’t want her to leave GH at all. the best part of her visit this time was the Sonny and Brenda wedding. Otherwise the writing was horrible and she deserved so much better and so did viewers. She did a fantastic job with it anyway.

I really hope she leaves still married to Sonny and pregnant with his baby. I hope he knows about it and puts her in hiding in Italy.

Unless the twist is all gh actors are being replaced by oltl actors, I dont care.
Just change Oltl to General Hospital. It actually utilizes a hospital setting and is not all mob all the time.

that is very funny, but at the same time, the best idea I have heard so far. I used to watch GH but stopped when it became Mob Hospital. OLTL is the only show I have watch for the last 15 yrs. ABC will be very sorry if the do not save OLTL!

As long as she’s gone, I don’t care what the “twist” is! Brenda is so whiny about Sonnys job. She knew what she was getting into so she needed to stop bitching!

The “twist” will probably be that Jax is Lucian’s father (hence both actors being written out at roughly the same time).

I think she will find out that Alex is really Jax’s son, not Alexander’s, and she and Jax will leave together!!

🙁

GLAD SHE’S GOING IS ALL I CAN SAY! she claimed to love Sonny so much before she married him and she knew what his business was and that his kids grew up in the “business.” Now that “her son” is in the picture, she’s always bawling and squawling about all of it and making threats to Sonny. Ever hear of that old song, STAND BY YOUR MAN, honey?

I don’t care how she leaves as long as she just hits the bricks! The actress is not to blame…we can blame the crappy writing. The whining, and screeching to Sonny got on my last nerve!
Supposedly Sonny is the love of her life and now that she has a son in the picture, she can’t stay? Can’t handle the mob life? Lame.
I think she will find out that Alec is Jax’s son and they will leave town together. Where that leaves Joss without a Daddy…who knows? Jason is a great step-dad.

Can she murder Carly before she goes? That woman gets on my last nerve!

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’

We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.

Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.

Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story.  The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.

In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.

The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed.  Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.

In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”

No word yet on when The Workout will be released.

So, looking forward to seeing this collaborative effort featuring GH’s Josh Kelly? Comment below.
