With the date just 24 days aways, Kate will provide a unique countdown for her fans on her social media accounts.  In her post from May 31st she related:  “Tomorrow is June 1st which officially kicks off the countdown to my last episode on Days of Our Lives: June 24th.  Stay tuned to my social accounts along the way- I’ll be sharing some special posts and creative opportunities I have planned as a way to celebrate our journey and take us to the finish line together. Here we go!! XO”

Currently, Abigail is struggling with her mental breakdown and her constant visions and delusions of Ben (Rob Scott Wilson), while pushing her husband Chad (Billy Flynn) and their son, Thomas further away from her.  How will Abigail leave the canvas?

Loosing KM and it looks like JL=Teressa as well isnt good for the show…KM has delivered emmy winning performances of late and will be difficult to replace…and if JL is leaving and being killed off as rumored-why kill off…just have her leave over Brady’s interest in Summer then recast her too in a few months but i hope she stays!!!

BIG shoes to fill!! Kate is positively electrifying, and has just kept topping herself since the advent of the Ben as killer story. I hope that Hollywood, or whatever she is pursuing, comes knocking and calling in a big way, because this young lady is destined for big things!! With that said, they found her as a virtual newcomer to acting, so they could do it again. Whether they get a recognizable soap name, or a newbie, the role of Abigail is crucial! I hope they take their time with casting, and make sure they have an actress with chops, and not just a pretty face. Y and R took their time and got Justin Hartley, which has most fans of the show saying Michael who?! Kate has provided 5 years of memorable performances, and wish her all the best!

I will be so very sorry to see Kate Mansi leave the show. She’s doing a tremendous job with Abigail. The new person will have gigantic shoes to fill.

I will miss Miss Mansi as Abigail. She was a standout among her peers in the industry. But how wonderful to leave a job knowing you are playing your A game and have the support of many. Will be looking for this fine actor on other screens soon!

Good luck Kate on your future acting endeavors. The actress probably needed a break from Days. I heard their shooting schedule is atrocious.

Marci Miller new Abby. KATE WILL BE MISSED

Finally; i know other actor who has draw out their exit as long as this geesh. Her last scenes should hv been months ago.

I know really. Good riddance

I liked Kate as Abby, losing her and Theresa is a big bummer. Glad I haven’t watched Days most of the year then

I’m happy for Kate if she is fulfilling new dreams. Sad to see her go but I understand. Best wishes to Kate.

I’ll be wearing black on June 24th, mourning the loss of Kate Mansi as Abby.

Good luck and thanks for the memories.

She was GREAT and the show (which by the way right now is not terribly compelling unless anyone thinks Joey being in this stupid commune is exciting) really will be weaker without her.
