Maxie’s back! Kirsten Storms  finally returned to her home away from home at General Hospital’s studio today after being away from the series for an extended period of time due to medical reasons.  During her time away from the Port Charles canvas, she was replaced by Jen Lilley.

It has been nearly since Storms has been gone and she tweeted her excitement with a photo of her name on a GH script for today!  She added,  “Happy Back to Work Day!!!! YAY!!  Bag packed. Off to work.”

Storms will first be back on the air on the September 5th episode of GH!  So soapers are you thrilled to hear Kirsten returned to GH today?  Let us know!

I’m happy she’s doing well, but I’d rather have Jen Lilley still be in the role as Maxie Jones.

YES! “Ain’t nothin like the REAL THING BABY!” No offense to JEN she has been amaizing, but there’s nothing like the original!

Great to hear she’s back!! She better bring her A game because Jen Lilley almost stole her role for good!!

Prayers have been answered! My Fav!!

SUPER excited to see her back. She was missed.

Yes, I’m very happy she’s back!!! Just watch the karaoke video Kirsten posted on twitter…. the chemistry she has with Bradford Anderson and Julie Berman pops off the screen…… WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soooooo excited to have you back. Jen did a good job with acting. But you are and always will be the only Maximistia. Welcome home. We love you

Jen Lilley did a good job after being put in a very tough position, but Kirsten Storms is Maxie to me, and I’m glad she’s back. Looking forward to seeing her back on the air!

She is a wonderful Actress & thank G-D she is well enough to return!

Jen did a fantastic job but I’m super excited that Kirsten is back. Welcome home.

I think she did too. I am happy to see KS back, I am sure that JL knew it would happen. I don’t like to see any of the actors out of work and I hope JL finds new work soon. She did a great job.

Happy for Kirsten, hope Jen Lilley is doing well and wish her the BEST!!!!!!!!

YES… WooHoo!!! Can’t wait to see her back as Maxie and please… please… please bring Spixie back!!!

Woohoo!!!! AT LAST!!! I can now start watching again

Yea!!

i’m soooo happy she’s back!

So Maxie is back on the canvas by September 5th, I am thrilled that KS is back in the role. Currently it seems that Jason is on to something. I believe Maxie’s husband Matt will be out of jail soon too. I really think this new investigation will show that Ewen is the real Lisa murderer. I am looking forward to this so I hope it happens. Maybe Lisa knew who Ewen was and that he was not a Dr. at all. If you watched recently Ewen did get upset and did tell Kate to stop calling him Dr. We shall see. The show has been great, all fans should keep watching because it is getting better each and every day. The writting has been fantastic along with the acting. I am so happy with the direction the show has taken. I cannot wait for more.

What fantasyland are you from?

LOL, I was only kidding. It is just fun to throw crazy story ideas around. I love playing fantasy soaps like others like to play fantasy football.

I agree.

SO happy to have Kirsten back! Don’t mean to badmouth Jen, but she only kept the character on screen….she never was Maxie to me. I know she tried but I just couldn’t see her as Maxie. (Never saw Jennfer Bradford as Carly either.) I can start caring about Maxie again and can’t wait to see what she gets up too! Love me some Kirsten!

Glad she’s feeling well and returning to GH. Best wishes to Jen Lilley.

Yes! Welcome, back Kirsten Storms. We miss you.

Thank You!!!! Dead weight needs to leave.

Wow.. Karen.. that is not nice at all.. as a new watcher to General Hospital, I loved Jen and thought she did a great job and will miss her much. I remember Kirsten for many years as Belle on Days of our lives.. She was good.. but was not too impressed with her on her reality show..

Try not to be a bully and insult Jen and call her “Dead Weight” .. She was not dead weight. She is a young talented actress that was in a tough situation and did well stepping in for an actress that left the role due to an illness…

Okay spokes person for jen, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.

LOL

TS, I agree with you. I’m glad to have Kirsten back, but Jen was talented and at least kept the character alive while she was gone.

Not sure if you read or watch any of Laura Wrights interviews. She is such a great person and she really supports her fellow castmates. Whether they are veteran GH actors, newcomers and even the OLTL veterans that have come to GH, she is a cheerleader for all. She happens to mention the many bad comments that she sees on comments from FB to MF and others. I know she does not like to see negative comments made about her colleagues. I will never know if she would see you comment or if Jen Lilly would see your comment but if any of them ever did they may remember who you are and not care if watched or didnt watch GH. The economy has hit the entire country, this entire world for that matter and no one wants to see someone else to lose their job. A true fan of GH would be saddened to see any actor on the show to lose their job. Maybe you are dead weight at your job and they should get rid of you.

Boo Hoo Hoo Cry me a River!! Then I guess I’m not a true fan, especially with all the stupid writing going on over there. Maybe you should let laura & the other girl speak for themselves.

It’s true that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I never cared for the character of Maxie but Jen Lilley made her unbearable! Maxie was never as whiny as she was when played by Lilley. Storms brings that bit of bitch and vulnerability, that while annoying, is so much better than Lilley’s version. Welcome back, Kirsten!!

Best news ever. I love Kristen as Maxie. I have missed her.

Yay for Kristen!!! 🙂 I feel happy and joy since she was gone in late last year.. Maxie go back to becomes Maxie Jones once again..no more Maxie Hunter and need go after Damian Spinelli played by Bradford Anderson(he’s not my related,ok…LOL)..

NO-ONE can ever replace Ktristen. I am so happy that she is back? Time for Maxie and Spinelli to get back together.

So glad to see that Kirsten is back. Now that we have grown to love Jen Lilley, they need to give her a new role. Thanks Jen Lilley for playing the part.

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’

We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.

Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.

Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story.  The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.

In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.

The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed.  Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.

In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”

No word yet on when The Workout will be released.

So, looking forward to seeing this collaborative effort featuring GH’s Josh Kelly? Comment below.
