yeh im well aware that unless you have a nielsen box, abc really isnt aware of those of us who are NOT watching their shows, but its just the principle of it, im not going to support a network that chose to dismantle two (but primarily oltl) of the primary shows i, and millions of others watch during the day, only to be hypocrites, complaining that soaps are very costly, yet turn around and CREATE night time soaps, which is what Revenge pretty much is. so while i understand it is not the fault of the actors of this show or any other abc show, it IS the fault of abc for totally disregarding 90% of the people who watch their daytime soaps, whether at the actual time during the day or dvr’ing it while at work to watch it later. granted, should a soap star from either amc or oltl show up on there, i MIGHT watch that particular episode to support the actor, but not going to involve myself in the show beyond that, unless they have a contract of sorts to remain on there. abc wanted so badly to get away from doing soaps yet they have Revenge, GCB and i forget the other one, its like a fairy tale type show. its just hypocritical and disrespectful, to work toward getting the night time viewers attention, while killing two shows that already had millions of people watching them, and were loyal to them. The only show i watch on abc anymore is gh; was watching dwts, but honestly EXCEPT for maybe jack wagner (melissa gilbert, jaleel white and sherri shepard) i dont even know half the cast anyway, so ive kinda dropped off watching that, so i seriously do not watch anything BUT gh…but since im a DAYTIME viewer, in abc’s eyes, i dont count anyway, so it doesnt matter if i watch or not; but, still sticking with the vow to not watch anything else on abc, other then gh, unless they decide to for once, respect the daytime audience and what they actually WANT, which is amc and olt; or, they decide to grow a heart, and give the rights to those shows back to their rightful owner, agnes nixon
Can’t wait! Loved Nolan’s video update!!

DAYS Alum Tanner Stine to Appear in ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’ Starring Nicholas Chavez

Soap Vet Christopher Cousins to The Young and the Restless
Looks like Ashley (Eileen Davidson) may get some much needed help, or assistance in shedding light on what caused her to have a massive personality split as her DID condition continues to spiral.
Casting news from The Young and the Restless has veteran actor, Christopher Cousins set to make his debut in the role of Alan Laurent, a psychiatrist and friend of Ashley’s from her time in Paris.
Look for Cousins to appear over multiple episodes beginning with the Tuesday, April 30th episode of the top-rated daytime drama series.
Christopher should look very familiar to soap fans having appeared on Another World, As the World Turns, One Life to Live in his most memorable role as Cain Rogan from 1991-2008, and most recently back in 2020 as Dr. Warren Kirk on General Hospital.
The actor has a long and extensive list of TV and motion pictures outside of the soaps as well, including: The Resident, UnREAL, Bosch, Vampire Diaries, to name but a few.

More of the Story on ‘General Hospital’ Star Josh Kelly’s Latest Film Role in ‘The Workout’
We had previously shared that General Hospital’s Josh Kelly was taking three weeks away from his role of Cody Bell to a shoot a role in an upcoming movie entitled The Workout.
Josh originally revealed his role in the film during an episode of GH castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson’s (Spinelli) podcast.
Now Deadline has filled in some of the blanks, and shared some intriguing intel on the premise of the film and its back-story. The film stars Kelly along with Peter Jae, and UFC Fighter, Ashlee Evans-Smith. Other cast members include The Bay’s Kristos Andrews.
In The Workout, two army rangers set out to create a workout video, but their plans are abruptly halted when a mob hit interrupts their filming. Tragically, one of the rangers loses his wife in the attack, sending him on a relentless mission to take down the mob and anyone who stands in his way.
The film from James Cullen Bressack, almost did not get financed. Apparently, ten days before his birthday, Bressack made a post on Instagram about the feature and production, casting, and financing came from the post … illustrating the power of social media. After the post gained traction, a producer provided financing and actors expressed interest in joining the project, leading to a quick production.
In a statement, Bressack shared, “As artists a painter paints, a musician makes music, a writer writes, but as filmmakers we have to ask permission to create. It’s time to change that narrative. This film spawned from a necessity to create. We create. We tell stories. We play pretend. I’m excited to take this journey. This is the truest form of collaboration and a community of friends coming together to make something fun. While our industry has had a rough time recently with strikes and a possible strike looming in the future, it’s nice to remind ourselves why we got into film to begin with. To have fun telling stories.”
No word yet on when The Workout will be released.
