Nanu Nanu! What a shame. Rest in peace Mr. Williams.

RIP Mr. Williams. The world is a little less funny without you. It’s like a part of my youth died. You made me laugh so hard I couldn’t breathe, tears rolled down my cheeks. You weren’t just a part of my life but my child’s. He loves “Happy Feet.” God is laughing now. We’ll see you again in heaven.

Robin was only two years older than I am and I feel like we grew up together. It saddens me that with all his talent he felt the pain of depression at this time of his life. Wish he could have seen himself as we did, a gentle soul rich with humor and love. He touched generations.

So sad..
The entertainment industry at times takes its toll ..

Bless you on your journey, Robin Williams ..

{{ You gave the gift of laughter ..

I was completely shocked when I found out. Can’t get his face out of my mind. So unexpected…

From zany, lovable Mork to his hilarious standup routines…his brilliant characters like Mrs. Doubtfire and Armand Goldman in Birdcage… to bringing Aladdin to life…he was a genius. His mind just went all over the place and yet connected the dots in such a way that brought me to tears with joyous laughter. And, yet, he was so poignant.

Horrible loss.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! It can’t be!!!!! I read about Robin Williams passing away over an hour ago. As a B-I-G FAN of his, I am VERY stunned, shocked and (even more) saddened by his death. Mr. Williams…Thank You…Thank You for all of the years in which you have entertained us all with your comedy, movies and TALENT PERIOD!!!!! Goodbye, Robin Williams…YOU WILL BE TRULY MISSED!!!!!!!

Rest In Peace. Amen.

I remember watching him on Comic Relief and thought it was a great charitable event. I’ll always appreciate his work ethic and caring that he has shown this charity.

Robbie, you will be missed greatly. Peace out.

I loved him in The Fisher King and Birdcage.

An honorary Jew and Russian! A mensch (TY Steve Martin). I will continue to honor you, and “do voices”… With love and admiration. RIP, Robin. Thanks for the memories.

You never know what a person is going through, because looks can be deceiving. Love the people in your life and listen to what they are saying. That
is something I am trying to do. Robin Williams was a comic genius and a very talented man. RIP

I am just sad and stunned. He touched so many co-stars lives and gave us joyous laughter and shared his giving and charitable side. His work for our veterans with the USO, and for the children of St. Jude Hospital. Then there was his commitment to Comic Relief with Whoopi and Billy Chrystal.

He will be truly missed!
Rest in peace now,
Robin Williams

When i was having my third child we bought a VCR and rented RW At the Met. HYSTERICAL!! So funny he was that while taking a sip of water I laughed, the baby kicked and broke my water,:-D, some 20 hours later my son was born. To this day, 27 years, he loves to hear the story. Oh how are hearts are aching :'( :'( :'( :'(

Sad…another loss of a huge talent!

Loved Robin Williams so much, my husband looks like him and could pass as his twin. I loved all his movies and shows. He will be missed so much. Rest in peace Robin Williams we love you dearly.

I can’t stop crying, just thinking of how talented he was, how much his family must adore, love, and miss him, and how he was on the brink of such despair. Robin Williams was a true American icon. He was a Hollywood great, a legend, a true talent-that will surely be missed for years and decades to come.

I hope that he has found his peace.

So devastating!!!! What an amazing man!!!! You will
Never be forgotten. Thanks for the laughs & the tears YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND SIR!! RIP

A friend of mine posted a picture on FB of Robin, as Mork, obviously giving his report, with the caption, “Mork calling Orson…”. It just made me tear up. So very sad for all of us, and devastated for his family. Bless him.

What a truly devastating loss; I only hope that he is at peace, and is able to find that solace in his life that he was void from. Genie, you’re free!

The world is poorer with his passing. He was beyond talented. such a waste and so sad.

How sad. May you find peace in your eternal sleep, Mr. Williams. I always looked forward to watching you on late night talk shows. You were magic.

I must add that he seemed like such a happy-go-lucky guy. I guess one never knows another’s private pain and anguish. It truly saddens me to think of the desperation he must have endured for having hanged himself. God bless.

amazing talent… so many wonderful times watching his genius at work.
since the 70’s he entertained me and my family with so many memorable performances. rip

I would have liked seeing Mrs. Doubtfire watch a soap opera…I would have loved seeing RW outlive his troubles…R.I.P. Robin Williams…You were never alone.

If he felt all the love and appreciation this world had for him, he might not have hung himself. Such a sad tragedy.

so very sad. How could someone who can make so many people happy and filled with uncontrollable laughter, be so filled with pain and sadness and then to make that horrible decision to leave all of it behind. As he said himself in character in a movie, and as I said after I heard of his leaving us… Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I feel so fortunate to have lived a life that had Robin Williams in it, and now I’m sad that he won’t be there for the rest of it.

Very well stated and I hope people reach out to someone tonight who is suffering from depression and let them know you care. All I can say is a line from one of my favorite movies he was in Dead Poet’s Society “Oh Captain My Captain” wish there had been a way to ease your pain this was not the answer.

Depression changes the way you think, no doubt in his depressed state he could not feel anything, not joy, sadness, anger or any emotion— humor requires being able to connect to your emotions and then using your intelligence to find the twist, the common experience to pull the thread to unravel the irony of it all, to create humor. I imagine for a man like him, humor being the center of his being, the core of who he was, to lose the ability to connect to that would have felt unbearable to him. I am not saying killing himself was the solution–because the depression would not have lasted, and if he had stuck in out, no doubt it would all come back to him, But depression only allows you see the world as now– and in the now, his pain, and if you have been battling depression for a long time, you just get exhausted– depression is a weariness too deep to explain to anyone who never has experienced it. He was most likely just too tired to try anymore. Most people who kill themselves don’t want to die, they just don’t want to live with the pain of emptiness– depression is like a black hole the sucks all emotions and energy out of you, you can’t feel anything– if he could feel something, he might have been able to feel the most important thing we all need and that is hope.

So beautifully said.
I too think he must have fought for so long,
and could no longer find any trace of hope.
I used to believe the saying that God does not
give us more than we can handle. But that obviously
is not true for many.

He will of course be missed. My thoughts are with his family.

I was looking forward to growing old with Robin, as I wish that that could also be the case with Patrick Swayze, Christopher Reeve, and John Ritter. I think that they would all have been great old geezers….walk with God, guys…I am looking forward to the old geezers movie when I (hopefully) arrive…

Truly one of the greatest comedians and actors, and from what I’ve seen in his interviews, he seems like a great guy. He’s one of those actors who didn’t let their fame and fortune turn them into a jerk.

He was a great entertainer, and had true talent for comedy and making people laugh and feel good… that’s the best kind of person.

RIP Robin Williams.

I have watched just about every Robin Williams movie. Loved his comedies, but his thrillers were fantastic, he was so good at being the bad guy, it sent chills all over. I truly hope that he is at peace. God Bless you Robin, may you RIP.

Days of our Lives Star, Greg Vaughan, Gives Health Update and Thanks Everyone for Their Support

Greg Vaughan (Eric, Days of our Lives, ex-Lucky, GH, and ex-Diego, Y&R) provided an update on his health on Sunday, March 17th. Vaughan had previously shared that he had become ill during a trip with his sons to Colorado, and had developed altitude sickness when he was having trouble breathing accompanied by terrible headaches and landed in the urgent care.

Now on St. Patrick’s Day, Greg took to his Instagram and shared how he is feeling now, and to thank everyone for their love and support.  As it turned out, Vaughan was diagnosed with high altitude pulmonary edema, commonly known as HAPE. However, he is on the mend slowly and surely.

In his new video post, the DAYS favorite started by expressing, “I just felt such an appreciation and gratitude for everything. . reaching out. Your prayers have been felt. It’s been a struggle, but I’m over the top. And, taking this moment just to say I didn’t realize the things that I was going through. My (original) post was simply just to educate, put some information out there and some things that I was feeling, just share that information and the struggle that I was going through, which I didn’t quite understand. And it wasn’t because I’m stubborn or just because I’m a father, a man, and didn’t want to go to a doctor. It is just something I thought was so minor that I could overcome it, just by taking care of myself.”

The Daytime Emmy winner then revealed his actual diagnosis, “So, basically my situation was high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE). With some good friends, doctors that had reached out to me, it kind of gave me some understanding on the aftermath, which was very, very beneficial.”

“But I’ve been resting, taking care of myself even though I live in a hamster wheel,” said the dad of three teenaged boys. “I gotta get up and, you know, do my normal domesticated stuff, eventually. I’m tired of laying down in this bed, but, I am feeling much better.”

Photo: GVaughanIG

Talking on his confusion of trying to understand what could have been ailing him, Vaughan expressed, “I couldn’t quite figure it out, even though I was emphasizing and professing to my children going on our spring break getaway about hydration. I professed it. But, even though I was acting on it, it had a greater effect on me, and for which I did not even think, because my head was such in pain, and I was in a very bad state of mind – not being able to be out there with my kids on the mountain, enjoying their time, as well. I thought I was doing the right thing. Unfortunately, my lungs were full of fluids and my head was in severe pain and even migraine pills didn’t even help. So, I just want anybody that goes into the Colorado Mountains to know, it is no joke. It is this very serious thing which I guess is why they call it the Mile High City.”

Greg had a mountain of ‘thank you’s’ to give for the outreach he received from his original post, “For everybody internationally, wherever you are, I love you and I appreciate you and just the time and the thoughts that you’ve shared with me,” said Vaughan. “I didn’t realize that it would make such an impression on so many people around the world. I feel tremendously loved and I can’t say it enough. I’m good. And I appreciate you.”

Photo: GVaughanIG

The actor concluded his video with, “To all the family and friends that have reached out to me, man, it means the world. So take care of yourself, enjoy your spring break with your families. It’s Saint Patty’s Day, obviously. I wish I could be out there.” Vaughan added, “I feel loved and touched and I can’t emphasize that enough. I’ll take better care of myself, promise you will do the same.” Before he signed off, Greg shared, “Just know, that I’m alive and well and breathing, and I’m sore. So, be well, take care. I mean it. Thank you, tremendously.”

Glad to know that Greg has been on the mend, and shared his appreciation for everyone that reached out to him during this trying time? Comment below.

Days of our Lives Star Greg Vaughan Shares Sudden Health Scare: “I Truly Feel Like I Work & Live in a Soap Opera!”

What started out as an adventure with his sons, quickly turned into a nightmare for Days of our Lives Daytime Emmy winner, Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady).

In a series of Instagram posts, Vaughan shared the sudden health crisis he found himself in.  The images show Greg with an oxygen tank to help him breathe.

The actor began to fill people, sharing, “I’ve said more than a few times, I truly feel like I work & live in a Soap Opera! 🤪 this trip was nothing short of another great Vaughan adventure!”

He went on to say that on a father and son Colorado spring break trip, he began to feel shortness of breath, feeling tired and with a headache and after two days of hoping he would feel better, Vaughan finally went to an Urgent Care to get checked out.

Photo: GVaughanIG

“I finally surrendered & went to urgent care and to my shock I learned that I was experiencing severe altitude sickness.” Vaughan admitted. “My Blood Oxygen was at 54% & my lungs were full of fluids! Blood oxygen, also known as oxygen saturation, represents the percentage of hemoglobin in your red blood cells that is carrying oxygen. Most people have an oxygen level of 95-100%….”

Providing more detail to his health scare, Greg shared, “Well, 4hrs later, a couple of bags of IV & oxygen tank strapped to my face, I was told that I needed to immediately get off the mountain! However I couldn’t, we still had another day to go & wanting the boys to enjoy their last day on the hill tops! I opted to go home with an oxygen tank, a good laugh for everyone, and I know will follow, but my boys looked after their old man & fortunately they had friends on this trip!”

Photo: JPI

The experience of altitude sickness in the Colorado Rockies gave Vaughan a bit of a new perspective, “In all seriousness, no matter your age, and all the times I’ve ⛷️ & 🏂 in my lifetime, Colorado Rockies is no joke! As they say, ‘ take a breathe and smell the roses!’ That is truly something we need to remember & appreciate! #recover”

Share your well-wishes to Greg as he continues to be on the mend via the comment section below.
