Stephanie Forrester Has A Few ‘Choice’ Words For B&B’s Brooke On Her Wedding Day To Ridge, As Susan Flannery Returns As The Voice Of Stephanie!

This week on episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tied the knot yet again, and this time at the Forrester mansion.

On Friday’s installment, there was an extra special touch and voice to the proceedings.

Susan Flannery returned as the voice of Stephanie in the Forrester matriach’s painting above the mantel in the Forrester mansion living room.

In story, when Brooke walks towards the painting missing and thinking about her old friend, once nemesis, Stephanie … suddenly the painting is speaking to her. Stephanie calls Brooke, “The slut of the valley” and that makes Brooke realize it is Stephanie reaching out to her from beyond the grave.  All in all, Stephanie wants to ensure that Brooke will look after her son, Ridge, and to also ensure that no one displaces her from the mantel ever again!

Katherine Kelly Lang delivered another touching, funny, and poignant performance while carrying on the tradition of the enduring Stephanie and Brooke relationship that lasted over two and a half decades on-camera on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Watch the moments after the jump! Then let us know what you thought of the Bridge wedding and the Stephanie and Brooke scene in the comment section below!

I would have been ok with Bridge’s 90th wedding attempt, if the writing wasn’t so over the top about how they’re destiny. B&B should know better, mainly that their audience aren’t idiots. We know that six months ago, Brooke married Bill, whom Brad Bell had described as the love of her life in an interview, and two months before that, she was engaged to marry Ridge, who was hot for his step-mother. Ridge married Caroline and told her he had never known love like that before, and before her, he’d been engaged to Katie, and he’d dumped Brooke for her! Come on now. And why were the Avants and Coco, people who didn’t know Bridge at all, revellng in their love as if they’d witnessed it first-hand? Did B&B forget that just a few weeks ago, Thorne, Rick and Maya were gnashing their teeth at Brooke forgiving Ridge for all he’d done to her?

I guess if I had to sum it up, I’d say that the production values were terrific, although they need to pick a new set for weddings to take place. But the writing was over the top, and ridiculous with everyone forgetting all the non-Bridge romantic history these two had had, with many of the same people in the wedding party!!

BETH……..WELL SAID…

Although I never took to Thorsten Kaye as Ridge, I did enjoy the moment between Brooke and Stephanie. It brought back a lot of good memories of the old days, and the wonderful love hate relationship that will forever be the mainstay of the two of them. It was nice to have Susan Flannery back, even if it was a few minutes of a voice over. It was a touching scene and it added to the moment. It would be nice for old time sake to see one of Stephanie’s patented face slaps. As I always said, Susan Flannery, in my opinion, was and always will be the queen of the soap opera face slap.

I agree. I never took to Thorsten Kaye as Ridge, either.

So very true! They all love Brook so much forgetting she has had sex with the whole family! Lol

Well, that could explain why the men in the family love her! 😉

Stephanie should have said I do not care who you marry these two guys are not my sons one has a Irish accent the other a Australian

That is hilarious!! Very true.

I truly enjoyed the whole story line
I truly hope this time be the last time that Ridge and Brooke get married.
I would like to see a married couple stay together, grown old together.
I would like to see real life issues
I agree the voice of Susan F was the icing on the cake.
It was a great show
I really enjoyed the wedding and all of the extras
Forgiveness is really a powerful thing, and it is something that should be presented on the Soaps.
Thank you

And in three weeks, they will be divorced…? Sigh. If this is destiny, then let Ridge and Brooke be the new core couple and let them be. So over B&B weddings. They mean nothing.

I enjoyed the episode.

Loved it! So nice to hear Susan’s voice.

Sean Kanan’s Stepdaughter, Juliet Vega, to Appear on The Bold and the Beautiful

Coming up on this Friday’s April 26th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Juliet Vega, the stepdaughter to Sean Kanan will make an appearance on the CBS daytime drama series in the role of Michele.

Keeping it “All in the Family”, the character is named after Juliet’s real-life mother, and Kanan’s wife, writer and producer, Michele Kanan.

Back in 2012, Sean married Michele Vega and thus began their blended family which included his daughter, Simone, and Michelle’s children, Peter, Gigi, and her twins, Annie and Juliet.

According to a B&B show spokesperson, Juliet’s B&B character is intentionally named Michele in honor of her mother and Sean’s wife.

While we don’t know how “Michele” shows up in story, it is the same episode that Clint Howard makes an appearance as well seemingly tied to the case of where in the world is Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)?

We can’t imagine that Juliet wouldn’t get the opportunity to mix it up on-screen with her stepdad, Sean Kanan. Previously, the two acted together in Sean’s streaming series Studio City, where she played the role of Delilah and he played soap actor, Sam Stevens. In it, Delilah is the bio-daughter Sam never knew he had.

So, looking forward to seeing Juliet on B&B and how ‘Michele’ turns up in the story? Comment below.

Cameron Mathison Previews New Game Show ‘Beat The Bridge’ (Promo)

As previously reported, Cameron Mathison (Drew, General Hospital) will be seen doing double duty this summer when he premieres in June as the host of Game Show Network’s Beat The Bridge.

Now, while Cameron will be the host with the most, that doesn’t mean he will stop playing GH’s Drew.  In fact, Mathison taped the game show in 2023, so it will now air for the first time in 2024.

Taking to his Instagram this week, Cameron shared his enthusiasm and some new hosting snaps, sharing, “Our newest game show host reporting for duty😎 Head over to the Game Show Network YouTube channel for your first look at the show and don’t miss Beat The Bridge premiering this June! I can’t wait for you guys to see this!”

In Beat The Bridge, an enormous interactive bridge dares players to cross by stepping on the right answers to challenging trivia questions. As they play, each steps forward and puts money in their team’s bank, with bonus money for each successful crossing. Here’s the catch: the team gets to keep the money only if it can “beat the bridge” by returning one of its players back across before time expires.

Meanwhile, on GH, Drew and Nina (Cynthia Watros) recently had hate-sex. Do you think its a one-time deal? Where will Drew’s story take him next under new head writers, Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte? Stay tuned.

Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts and Marlene King Land ‘Calabasas’, a Soap in the Vein of the ‘O.C’ and ‘Beverly Hills 90210’, at Netflix

There has been lot of soapy projects coming to life and in the works of late, and now comes word that Kim Kardashian is executive producing a new series in development for Netflix called Calabasas.

After a bidding war last week, it looks like Netflix cemented the development deal from Kim, and her producing partners American Horror Story co-star Emma Roberts (pictured below) and Pretty Little Liars creators Marlene King and Alexandra Milchan.

The concept of Calabasas is based on the book If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now by Via Bleidner.  King set to write the adaptation and will serve as the series showrunner.

According to Deadline, Calabasas is said to be in the vein of primetime young teen and young adult soaps the O.C. and Beverly Hills 90210. The story follows “Via, a 16-year-old sheltered Midwestern Catholic school girl whose world is turned upside down when her family moves and she’s forced to transfer to the fast world of Calabasas High where nothing is as it appears and where everyone is trying to be someone else. It’s a place where dreams come true … but not without complications and sometimes unforeseen consequences.”
