THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Courtney Hope Returns & Makes Us Love Sally All Over Again … Even Though She’s Got That Gun Pointed At Wyatt!

Courtesy/CBS

On Friday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, viewers saw the return of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).  How do we find Miss Sally? Getting schnockered at the Bikini Bar.  But, who should also be there ready for some libation? Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).

As Sally drowns her sorrows in booze, and believe you me, she has plenty to drown, we learn the heartbreaking story of how Sally really has lost everything.

Wyatt sees Sally and strikes up a conversation.  He wonders why she is not in New York.  Sally reveals that although she went to be with Thomas, he dumped her and got back together with Caroline, even after Caroline was faking her illness.  Sally orders another round of drinks and says he was nothing but the, “Flavor of the month,” to Thomas.. She goes on to say how all of the Spencers make her sick.  Wyatt argues the point that only two Spencers have wronged her which of course includes his father, Bill (Don Diamont), who demolished Sally’s business … literally!  Sally decides to leave, but her credit card is declined and she has no cash on her, and announces she is going to go sleep on the beach. Wyatt will not let her do that, and takes her home with him to give her a place to sleep on his couch for the night.

Once at Wyatt’s, a distraught Sally admits she has nowhere else to go.  She returned to L.A. on instinct, and lists the things that were taken from her including: her fashion company, and Liam (Scott Clifton), etc.  When Wyatt tries to get her to sit down, she drops her purse.  As Sally turns, she sees everything has fallen out of it including a gun, which Wyatt sees.  Emotional and fed up, she admits she is alone with nothing, because of Wyatt’s father, Bill.  Sally is aiming to shoot at Wyatt as he tells her to stop, and we hear a shot ring out.  The episode fades to black.

Courtney Hope is so good at Sally that you root for the down-on-her-luck character who is a fighter and will claw her away back, even though she makes some radically bad decisions along the way.  We are glad that B&B has brought the characters back to the canvas as Courtney Hope infuses her with a fresh perspective and one that is very different character than the other women on the canvas.

So, do you think Sally will seek massive revenge on Bill?  Will she end up with Wyatt? Share your thoughts on Sally’s return to B&B in the comment section below.

Hope she and Wyatt AND Liam and Steffy gang up on Dollar Bill and DESTROY him!!!! Love Courtney being back and hope she gets a prominent storyline!!! I guess that would be a good pairing of Sally and Wyatt!! Let’s see!

I absolutely love this fiery redhead! So glad she’s back, and hope Wyatt will be man enough for her, especially when it comes to standing up to Bill.It didn’t work out for he and Katy, because they were both afraid of his wrath.Sally is not afraid of him, or anyone, maybe her strength and courage will rub off on Wyatt.

Hi Violet…really glad Sally is back as well. I think Wyatt’s perfect for her and likewise for him. Thomas was a wash, with the same story as Liam…the baby made the difference and the moms won. And as for Liam…he always turns out to be an unreliable wimp. Must admit I did enjoy his memory loss story with Quinn/Rena. Or when he is an animal activist. But why any woman would trust their heart to him is a mystery to me.

Hi Rose, loved your reply, and agree with you about Liam. He just tries to be everything to everyone, and somehow looses what he really wants. In my day, we would call him wishy washy. I do not think of him as a wimp, just a too nice guy. I liken him to Nick on Y&R. I know a lot of people do not think of these two as strong men, but I would take either one, before Bill Spencer and Victor Newman, who are evil, personified.

Violet…I like wishy washy.

They were afraid, but Katie was concerned about Will getting confused about Wyatt being his brother. Funny thing was, not 5 minutes after Katie and Wyatt broke up, Thorne goes in to comfort her and they start kissing. So heartbroken was she

like the return of Spectra and enjoy this actor as a new generation Sally, but please let’s have some real story and action. Not just a round of bedding and aching sappy hearts. Keep the couples together. Let them gel. And let the suspense, corporate intrigue, and real world concerns in for some drama. Might someone run for political office? Can there be a real mystery with consequences? B&B has received high honors for its social justice spotlight on ‘very special episodes;’ why not develop those as they did back in the day when Stephanie wandered off without her memory?

Lakovos…Like the return of Sally and your other ideas. EXCEPT No Politics. Too much of that elsewhere in real life.

Loving the pairing of Wyatt and Sally. I hope it’s not short lived like it was with Katie, although I can understand why. I guess now Thorne is going to wind up with Katie. Atc least some of the other cast members are finally getting some much deserved air time. There is only so much of Steffi I can take. But the show needs to pick up the pace a bit. I guess we’ll have to wait and see

I don’t know where else to speak of Hope, as this new format seems to be broken up into characters, and not each show.
Anyway, today’s show left me wondering about Hope’s next love interest,in the way they recycle characters. There are no young men left, so who will they use for her? It scares me to even be typing the names of Justin and Bill. Is there anyone I missed? Oliver is long gone, and they don’t do much hiring on B&B.

Love, love, love Sally! She’s got so much more to offer than pushy Steffy and whiney, clingy Hope. If you want Wyatt, you go get him girl!

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Hope’s World is Shattered as She Learns Thomas and Douglas are Leaving for Paris

Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas) is one of the best child actors on the soaps and he proved it again on Thursday’s March 28th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.

In story, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) has informed the Forrester family that he and Douglas are leaving and heading to Paris for awhile. This is wonderful news to Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ear, who implored her brother to forget about Hope (Annika Noelle) after she turned down two proposals for him.

Meanwhile, Douglas goes to see Hope in the dressing room area of Forrester. It is then, that the young boy shares his disappointment that Hope turned down Thomas.

Hope tells Douglas she’s going to reach out to his dad, but the young boy says he already knows she turned down his proposal, again. “He’s not the only one who got his hopes up,” a broken-hearted Douglas shares. Next, he asks Hope why she made it seem like they could be a family together? Although she shares they are a family, she also says she is not ready for marriage, for a big commitment, just yet, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to be with his father.

Next, Douglas says that Hope doesn’t love his dad enough to make them a real family. He then tells Hope, “Why aren’t we good enough? You don’t love us enough?”

Assuring Douglas, Hope says she loves him… so much. Hope tells Douglas she’ll always be his mother. However, Douglas says his mother died, adding “Caroline Spencer. Dad was enough for her.” Hope recoils. Douglas says he wants to go with his dad and that if  his father is leaving, he wants to go with him.

In yet another touching moment, Douglas, expresses, “I love him so much. He’s my hero. Please don’t stop me from going. Don’t make me go through court stuff again. He needs me, and I need him.” Then, Douglas turns and walks to the door.  Just then, Hope cries out, “I love you!” Douglas runs back into her arms and the two share a tender moment where Douglas says, “I love you, Mom.”

In Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) office, Douglas enters. He tells everyone he saw Hope and told her he was going away with his dad. Brooke is (Katherine Kelly Lang) shocked, Tomas says “Douglas is coming with me.” Brooke says that Hope, as his mother, and has a say in this. Douglas tells Brooke, “I told her I needed to go with my dad.”

As he exits with Thomas, he turns and says, “Bye, Brooke.” Meanwhile, Brooke  cries. “I can only imagine what Hope is feeling about all of this.” Fade to black.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Learns Britt Died and Tells Anna He Has Been Working For Cates Since November 2021

On the Tuesday, March 26th of General Hospital, Anna (Finola Hughes) and the viewers learn about where Jason (Steve Burton) has been for over two and half years. However, Jason gets some news of his own.

Anna is visiting Jason at the PCPD interrogation room. She asks him if he shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), which he flatly denies. Anna believes him, but she tells Jason it doesn’t matter, because video footage shows him on the roof at the time of the shooting

When talk turns to Jason not willing to speak without his lawyer present, Anna can’t grasp why Jason would instead spend an hour alone talking with John Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

Photo: ABC

It is then that Anna brings up that John went by “Jagger” and that the two of them knew each other in high school. Jason doesn’t recall much of his time in high school following his brain injury, but then he gets furious realizing John knew about “Jason’s” past. That is when Jason slams the table and tells Anna, “I’ve been working for John Cates since November 2021.”

Next, Jason explains further that he has been working as an informant for the FBI. Anna wants to know how this came about and he tells her that after the tunnel collapsed, and he couldn’t make it to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud)… all of a sudden he sees Anna’s face drop.  Anna is the first person to tell him that Britt died and was murdered. She tells Jason the killer is in custody, but he continues to be shocked, overwhelmed with tears welling up in his eyes. Realizing he has to pivot to save his life, Jason continues telling Anna how he wound up working with John.

Jason explains that after the tunnel collapse in Greece, FBI agents grabbed him and placed him under arrest and took him to Quantico where he met John. At Quantico, John played a recording of RICO violations and offered Jason a deal if he agreed to be an informant against Pikeman, the illegal arms dealer.

Anna hears from Jason that he thinks Pikeman is selling illegal arms to anyone flagged by the NSA but has ties to the WSB which they needed a civilian to infiltrate their organization as a military soldier, a mercenary.

Jason tells Anna he was a part of the team brought into eliminate Sonny (Maurice Benard). Every time an attempt was made on Sonny’s life over the last two years, a different team was sent to do the job. Anna gets furious when she learns that John told Jason his job was to kill Sonny and she was with John at the warehouse that night. Jason ensured the sniper missed Sonny and left the rifle behind. However, they were supposed to meet an extraction team. Before he was shot, Dante saw it was Jason on the roof and when he turned around with his hands over his head, Dante was shot by the other guy. Jason says if Dante dies, he’ll be charged with capital murder and then will be useless to the FBI.

Meanwhile, John visits Bobbie’s and runs into Carly (Laura Wright). She learns Jason is in custody and is going to head to the PCPD. Before she does, Carly has some words with Cates when she learns not only does John have a vendetta against Sonny, but Jason too.  Carly tells John he should recuse himself from the case.

So, what did you think about the moment when Jason learned Britt died? What do you think of Jason’s return storyline thus far and what we learned about Jagger/Jason and more? Comment below. But first, check out a moment from today’s GH with Jason and Anna.

AMERICAN IDOL: Should Former ‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Gervais’ Daughter Camila, Been Voted Through to Hollywood Week?

On the final round of audition to make it into Hollywood Week, Sunday night’s March 24th episode of American Idol brought with it some top-notch musical performances by contestants around the country.

An interesting moment occurred when the former ‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Gervais revealed himself. Gervais’ daughter, Camila, who we watched grow-up before our eyes, before and after Juan Pablo’s season on the reality dating series is now 14-years-old and entering the competition.

When Camila explained who her dad was to the judges: Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Perry, he was brought into the audition room.

Photo: ABC

Katy asked Juan Pablo, “You know what it’s like to be on television, and you’re trying to throw her in this lion’s den?” Juan Pablo admitted he has been actually trying to temper Camila’s musical aspirations until he felt she was ready to audition and be a part of ‘Idol’.

When it was time to perform, Camila choose to performance Joaquina’s “Rabia.” Her audition drew mixed reactions from the judges. It was a “no” from Lionel Richie. It was a “yes” from Katy Perry although she expressed her concern about Camila’s vocal limitations as measured against the other singers who made it through.

Photo: ABC

The deciding vote was from Luke Bryan who gave Camila another “yes”. However, Luke was originally a “no.”  He said with the right producer she could make it. Katy mentioned that Spanish music is the industry’s fastest growing genre, and Camila is “authentically that.”

Many on social media and viewer reaction felt if her father, former ABC star Juan Pablo, was not standing in the room awaiting the judges decision, they would have given her a hard pass, since they continually brought up she needed more time to develop her potential and to come back and audition in a few years.

This was yet another controversial pick by the judges.  You can watch Camila’s performance below.  Then let us know, do you feel Camila should have been voted through to Hollywood Week? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
