General Hospital
The Britch is Back! Kelly Thiebaud Makes a Return to General Hospital
Look who is headed back to General Hospital! Kelly Thiebaud will be reprising her role of Britt Westbourne on the ABC daytime drama series, according to Soap Opera Digest. She is currently back filming episodes.
Kelly previous played the role of the not-so-good doctor from 2012-2014 and has made return appearances since that time.
Being the daughter of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Cesar Faison )Anders Hove) and bff of Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), you never know just what trouble “The Britch” will be stirring up this time.
No airdate has been given for Thiebaud’s return, or how long of a stay this may be.
Looking forward to seeing Kelly again on GH? Comment below.
Woo Hoo!!!
She is great! Hope she sticks around for a while.
Me Too!
Would rather have Hayden! And none of this short term business! Full time please!
Hayden’s leaving wads big error.
This is the best news ever, other than Amanda setton joining the cast. I hope these two share many scenes and storylines !!
Yeayyyyyy!!!!!! So happy!!! My guess is Liesl is in trouble and here comes Britt for support and aid?
Anna is truly getting on my last nerve —boy, is she reaching!!!!—-and soooo delusional.
She is convincing herself Liesl is responsible for Peter’s crimes. Sounds like desperation to me. Wasn’t Finn somewhat wary of Anna’s behavior towards Peter? That’s why he and Violet left.
Deep down Anna knows Peter is guilty but finds it hard to come to grips with this fact —-that the son she abandoned ( if Petey really is her son) is as demonic as his father—Call it guilt.
We all know Liesl is a scapegoat for Anna and a gift for Peter.
The idea of watching Anna and Peter interact is repulsive…… What have the PTB done with Anna? Where has her “detecting” intuition gone? I guess it’s understandable —-she’s viewing Peter through the eyes of a mother.
Yet, the irony bites here, at least for me——I have this strong feeling Peter is not her son, but her twin’s, Alex.—-
Yeah, I know, I know—-same old, same old recycled story.
The writers dumb down Anna in the first place with PETER…ME TOO THINKS Alex is his unfortunate mummy…Peter is such a boring character that fills like a filler and adds nothing to the show!!!
I know, Jimmy. Just as I thought, Liesl is paying the price for Peter’s crimes. Subconsciously, Anna knows this—-so, she thinks that her deed or misdeed ( having Liesl arrested) will make everything OK again with Finn. But, neither he nor Robert believes Peter is not a baddie—The truth will come out and Liesl will be exculpated.
The actor ( Peter—He is so insignificant, I don’t even know his name or care to know) is not a very good one. Those stone-faced , sly looks he has adopted are pitiful.
To have “debased” Anna in this manner is shameful. TPTB are making her look like a bumbling idiot.
Aren’t you tired of Peter’s story? It’s like a bottomless pit—-no one cares and no one is interested in this character. My only interest is waiting for the character’s demise. There is no charisma at play here.
I rarely pay attention to Peter as he bores me…he and Maxie have zero chemistry…hope Anna is setting him up and not as stupid as she appears!!!
WOW, Jimmy!!—that did not cross my mind. Very astute of you!! You’re right, we must give Anna’s shrewdness the benefit of the doubt.
However, can her “mother’s heart” betray her son? I guess it takes courage—As a mother myself, I don’t know if I’d have the strength or willpower—
Peter is very cunning . Would there be a chance for Anna to be “taken in” by him?
Curtis is Trina’s real father…
I agree, Jimmy—there’s so much tension between Dr. Robinson and Curtis, you can cut it with a knife—-those furtive looks they exchange is another give-away.
As far as TJ? Who cares?
And, poor Liesl!!!!! I know she worked side by side with the Devil in the past —-are her sins are catching up to her?—-but, she is currently my favorite—-the rest of the cast leave a lot to be desired.
I think Anna knows Liesl is innocent—-she’s either trying to save Peter’s hide, or flesh out the truth from him—-pardon the puns.
Nimh
Agree, 100%
The way they’re writing Anna makes no sense at all these days. Hell knows there’s no love lost between her & Obrecht. And Hell also knows that Obrecht IS guilty of many things, certainly. But what possible motive would she have for killing Drew Cain, whom she barely knew, or Frodd, who is one of her few friends?
Anna Devane – super spy & former police commissioner just ain’t that dumb. Guess it’s going to be up to Spinelli to bring down Whiny Heiny.
Yeah, Satan….as I said to Jimh, Anna is probably playing this game to entrap Peter. You guys make a lot more sense than I. Anna is a seasoned spy, who does not necessarily follow her heart.
There needs to be a crashing/crushing climax sooner than later because I grow weary of seeing Peter. LOL.
You summed up my take on things!!! 100% agree!
Celia, I had a great idea for a bloopers reel; even though they’re not bloopers, they’re still hysterical… Here goes: make a loop of all of Peter Puke’s “secret” phone calls that are supposed to sound sinister but are really just giggle inducing and play it whenever you’re having a bad day. It’s bound to lift your spirits! I haven’t seen such bad acting since…well, never.
LOL—funny, but sad, Soaphound. Are we supposed to be anxiously afraid of Van Gogh?
—-and, to add insult to injury, Maxie has lost that “thing”–you know? She has become as “old-maidenish” as Peter—-my ennui is overwhelming. I was such a fan of hers—-she needs a new guy.
Anyway—on to other news— first school closing in Suffolk County due to the coronavirus—-So far my school is safe—-we are prepared to teach online
—not much like the idea of teaching from home—-barricaded!! LOL.
I worry for my husband the most—-
Stay safe!!.
I agree! Anna is a world class spy and she falls for Peter’s BS??? Also, Peter and Maxie are just so blahhhhh! They just need to let Maxie find out his secrets, and get her a new man!!!
Well, Sally—-it seems that Anna has fallen for Peter’s BS, as you put it. I am vacillating here. Is she putting on an act for everyone, including Peter? And then, WHAM?? –or is my original instinct correct?…..that she is thinking with a mother’s heart? She is in denial—-if she truly believed Peter were Satan incarnate, would she jeopardize little Violet’s life by having Peter in her house? I’m in a quandary—-
All I can say is that I am not likking Anna, as of late. Peter? He just gives me the creeps—do not like either the character nor the actor—third-rate…
I never thought the day would come, Jimh, but Anna has officially drank the Peter-flavored KOOL-AID! Her “dressing down” Jason today (March 9) was embarrassing and unprofessional. What a sad day. We’re used to Maxie making a fool of herself over Peter Puke, and now she’s threatening Spinelli? If I were him, I’d take their daughter back to Portland.
i wasnt too big on Maxie and her story with Peter made it worse
No doubt Britt will be back to comfort her buddy Brad. Maybe she can convince Liesl to expose Nelle’s lies regarding Jonah/Wiley. Or maybe to interact with Spencer…they were a hoot. Whatever it is, KT will be most welcome back to Port Charles. ANYTHING but more of Carly and her fan club!
Obrecht is going to have to play the Nelle card. It’s really the only information she could trade that’s useful. Her problem is that giving up Nelle for the baby swap doesn’t have any connection to Drew’s plane going down, or the attempted hit on Frodd & Dr. Maddox, so the PCPD, WSB, or whomever are still going to want somebody on the hook for those crimes.
On the other horn, if they did their homework, they could link Nelle to Val the Bastard, and then link him to Whiny Heiny, so it’s a long way around, but you can get there if you make your way through the maze.
WOW!! Excellent thinking—just walk backwards and follow the footprints. Your horns are pretty much in sync. LOL
The problem is, Anna will never face the truth. I wonder if she would give a deaf ear to the truth simply to save her son. If that’s the case, she will be a forceful adversary for anyone who becomes an obstacle.
Brad is so very tiresome–should have been written out a LONG time ago. But, alas, TPTB never want to let a villain go. So worrisome.
Awesome–but how about a permanent return, GH!?!?!?! Her character was great on the show.
Oh my God-perfect timing! Love her & love Liesel-(intrigued with her & Peter), endless possibilities with Britt.
YES!!! I love “The Britch”!!! Of course, I am skeptical since Taggert was brought back only to be killed off which didn’t make me happy. Please don’t bring her back to write her off the canvas for good. We always need a good dose of the Britch!!!
Methinks Taggert is not “dead.”
That thought went through my mind too. I am hoping this is true because I sure felt robbed when he was here one day and gone the next.
0ooh goody!
Britch is back !!
looking forward to seeing her, again
She was in love with Nikolas, yes?
they had something going.
Perhaps some Britch and Ava action !!
(of course Brad and Brit stuff, too.)
Brad likes them BAD-maybe Brit And Nelle can become pals as well-lol
I hope she comes back and serves Nelle a good a$$ whoopin’ for her lies about Brad. Glad to have her back.
Not interested in her character–not excited about her return.
OMG yessssss! Please keep her around much much longerv this time!!! Great stories tobe told with Brad, Obrecht, AND Nicholas!!!
Something else which has been gnawing at me—–Sasha not interested in motherhood—-Willow loves motherhood. Where are TPTB going? Michael and Willow ? Chase and Sasha? Hmmmm. Sounds perfect????
Ahh!! When will these yung’uns learn? LOL.
And just like that…. she’s gone again. But for some reason, she turned up in Salem as a lawyer.
