It was happy news from Venice the Series, and former Days of our Lives star, Nadia Bjorlin (Lara, Venice & Chloe, DAYS) when she revealed via her facebook that she and her new beau, Grant Turnbull are officially engaged!

According to About.com, “Grant Turnbull surprised her when he popped the question while they were vacationing in Ireland.”

“So, this happened.  Couldn’t be happier! And so it begins in Ireland … with Grant Turnbull,” stated Bjorlin on her facebook page.

The beautiful couple met earlier this year through mutual friends on Valentine’s Day.

Congrats to Nadia and Grant! Leave your well-wishes and thoughts in the comment section below!

Last I knew, Nadia was involved with Brandon Beemer. Congratulations to Nadia and Grant!

Seems kinda fast considering she was dating Brandon for years.

Good luck.

Sad that she and Brandon have moved on and parted, and that she departed so quickly. But I do wish them the best of luck.

I’m happy for her and her new beau. They make a very attractive couple and any guy who can make it through her mother deserves an award. LOL.

However, I’m a bit confused. When did Brandon Beemer and Nadia break up? It seemed like they were together for such a long time, and very publicly, and now, poof, she’s engaged to someone else.

Nadia is a has been, she cheated on Brandon Beemer with this loser. Nadia is a piece of work, poor Brandon I hope he has a new girlfriend.

Ooh spill the details! According to Instagram, they met on February 14th. I wonder when Nadia and Brandon broke up? They were still together on Halloween of last year so it must have been sometime after that. I do wonder what Brandon thinks of her getting engaged so quickly! She still has pictures of him on her Instagram! She’s kept her relationship with Grant a little hidden (unlike him who has been super vocal about how she is ‘the love of his life’ from like day one!). Let’s not forget how Nadia dated Daniel Sadek. That dude is super shady and was involved in all sorts of questionable things (google it). I don’t know if she has the best judgement to be honest.

She cheated on Brandon? How do you know? If she did, that’s terrible. He seemed so devoted and loving.

Congrats to Nadia and Grant
I saw the writing on the wall for Brandon and Nadia during filming of that reality show they did. He was too wishy washy for her strong & fun personality!

Maybe she is pregnant and that is why she is geting married so fast… hmmmmm . good for both of them and for her mama also…

Congrats to Nadia and Grant! Hope Nadia’s Mom likes Grant! I became a fan of Nadia’s Mom while watching. “Dirty Soaps”. Nadia’s Mom is a hoot! But it was obvious that she loves Nadia very much and wants her to be happy. Need more Moms like Nadia’s.

congrats

Congratulation. It was about time she found love. She wasted too many years with Brandon.Enough already. As long as she’s happy,it’s all that matters

Nadia only met this guy in February and is already engaged? Ok, good luck I guess! What’s with people dating someone for like 7 years, then breaking up and getting engaged so super quick with the first person they meet? I hope it works out for her, but I give them 2 years max.

Or 72 days…lol

On a different note and off the subject….did anyone listen to that otherworldly music playing in the background as Aidan and Jen were having lunch/dinner? OMG! It sounded like the music playing during a sleep therapy session my Dad plays for his patients.

Hayley…yes…AGREED!!!!! I mean…why the rush??? And, yep, 2 years max…or less.

Well congrats to both of them I’m a fan and I admire them both they really seem like they’re very happy together .I loved Nadia’s movie”The Line ” I bought the movie and always play it over and over again ..she’s very beautiful and deserves to be happy . Wish you’ll the best of luck and make each other happy!!!!!

Kristian Alfonso Returns to Days of our Lives for Tribute to The Late Bill Hayes

After a few weeks of Days of our Lives fans being upset that Kristian Alfonso (Hope Williams) was not on the first list of initial returns for Doug Williams’ funeral and episodes honoring his portrayer, the late Bill Hayes, comes word that the popular star is back and taping scenes.

Kristian reported to work on the Peacock streaming soap opera on Monday, April 22nd. She shared how important it is for her to be back for this particular return to the show that made her a household name.

“My return is very bittersweet,” Alfonso told TV Insider,  “because it is the end of an era with Bill gone. So to return to Days is very sad. I am appreciative that they came to me to include me in their series of shows honoring Doug and I’m very happy to see everyone, but I’m entering the studio with a heavy heart.”

It was back in 1983 that Kristian first debuted as Doug’s daughter, and now 41 years later looking back at it, and her time with Bill Hayes is very emotional for her.

“I remember my first scenes with him/ He was very loving, very welcoming. That he was very talented and an incredible actor and an icon, that all goes without saying, but my personal relationship and my working relationship with Bill, it was home,” expressed Alfonso. “Doing the scenes with Bill, I felt like I was with my dad because there was so much warmth and reality.”

Alfonso did express some deep regret, in that she had wanted to work with Bill Hayes during her last appearance on the soap back in 2023, but according to the iconic actress, there was something in the works but it never materialized.  “I’m sad that I did not get the opportunity to do the storyline that Ron (Carlivati, head writer) had planned/ It was great; we returned to Salem to reunite with our families and I would have had father/daughter scenes with Billy. What Ron had written was beautiful and emotional and it was a fantastic story. I was 100 percent for it and the fans would have loved it.”

As for if Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope will be back on-screen together anytime soon, Kristian would only say, “What I will say is don’t give up hope.” Doug’s passing and memorial episodes will stream later this year come late November into December.

So, are you happy to learn that Kristian Alfonso is back taping episodes surrounding Doug’s memorial episodes? Comment below.
