Who killed Psycho Dr. Lisa Niles? GH launches major Whodunit this week!

So it looks like this is truly the end of the line for twisted Dr. Lisa Niles played to perfection by Brianna Brown!  According to TV Guide today, Lisa’s days are finally numbered when her latest evil plot goes awry and she is murdered!

Here is what we know from TVG, “General Hospital  kicks off an epic whodunit this week that finds several Port Charles favorites (Patrick, Robin, Matt, Maxie, Elizabeth, Olivia, Steve) celebrating on a rented party boat unaware that the psychotic Dr. Lisa Niles, whom everyone thinks is in a coma, is hiding among them in plain sight.”

According to GH’s EP Jill Farren Phelps, “Lisa is out to destroy Patrick and Robin and decides this would be a good time to make her move but, truth be told, she doesn’t like anybody on board. This is Lisa’s worst, most insidious plan yet.”

However, her plot does not go as planned and Lisa will be found dead from a blunt-force trauma that will leave every one of the passengers as suspects!   And according to TV Guide,  “This murder mystery will play out for months, and viewers won’t learn the identity of the killer until February!”

So soapers, are you into the story? And more importantly, who do you think will turn out to be Lisa’s murderer?  Let us know!

Good, it’s about time this character was killed. They dragged on the Fatal Attraction storyline with her & Scrubs WAY too long & then forgot that the movie ending with Glenn Close’s character dying. When I heard they were bringing her back I couldn’t believe it but if it’s to kill her off permanently I say bravo cause it is long overdue.

Please let our scrubs have a good story don/t make it about this niles character.she should have been dead and gone. If they think this will raise ratings unless it’s about great scrubs and not niles 24/7 it wont do a thing to make fans happy.

Thats easy!!!!!!

Johnny’s dad killed her. He has been setting her up from the start. All will be a suspect but in the end it will be the old man !

omg!! we do not need anouther whodunit story & it will last until feb???
what are tiic & tptb smoking over at gh??

Y and R thought of it first with the Diane Jenkins storyline and I loved it. Lets hope this one turns out just as good. I bet any money Franco or Anthony Zacchara will take her out.

i hope it’s anthony – lol
i love the diane jenkins s/l – at least she wasn’t physically trying to hurt anybody she was just greedy for money…..i new she was going to be killed and i think patty did it……………….

For me and probably a lot of other fans, this is ridiculous. Not only should this character be dead but why stress out all of those characters when she did such horrible things to Robin and deserved to die a thousand times already. Hopefully these awful writers will step up to the plate and write something worth keeping the audience’s interest for longer than a day.

I think, if this is done well, it can be a great story. Usually a whodunit story line with lots of potential suspects creates a lot of interest. I just hope the culprit is someone we care about – not some unknown, little cared about day player – so we can then some real satisfaction that Lisa got what she deserved. I don’t know how they would pull that off, but am really hoping they do.

I am sorry to see Brianna Brown leave the show. Lisa had a lot of potential, and she definitely has chemistry with a lot of people. I would have loved it if they hadn’t painted her into a corner like they did and figured out how to pair her with Johnny. They are both pretty damaged people and would have had an amazing, yet twisted, relationship.

I too enjoy a good whodunit storyline, but I am not a huge fan of them being drawn out for a very long period of time, and if it goes through February, that is way too long (for my taste). Without having seen today’s episode yet, the obvious killer (imo) is probably Anthony, so if he truly is that obvious, it probably won’t be him. As Gail mentioned above, I too, consider a storyline (especially a drawn out one) anti-climatic when the killer ends up being someone insignificant, but I am hopeful tht this will not be the case in this storyline. I hope this murder mystery draws in large numbers in viewership, as well as all of the GH storylines. I so want GH to remain on ABC Daytime. It has the Chew beat by a long shot, so I hope when Katie Couric joins ABC Daytime, she WILL NOT be replacing GH.

I am sorry to see Brianna and Lisa leave. It’s fun watching Brianna play the sadistically sick Dr. Niles. Instead of killing Dr. Niles, they should have linked her to Franco, and together they could have unleashed their evil fantasies. Or Dr. Niles could have teamed up with Helena Cassadine. With a little imagination, Dr. Niles could have become a more interesting character.

I am so sorry to say this but enough of this niles character,I found the story with the cheating almost unbearable,to see this character again just makes me to wonder what is it I don’t see . I wish this actress luck but I just don’t care to see niles anymore please let her leave for good, JUST GIVE US SCRUBS THEY DON’T NEED STORIES LIKE THIS SOMEONE HAS TO BE ABLE TO WRITE FOR THEM

They won’t reveal who did it until February? This is one of the big reasons soaps have been able to attract new viewers let alone maintain what they got. I know some soap fans love long drawn out storylines, but seriously, no story line should ever exceed 2 months, 3 at most. At one point, it becomes repetitious, boring, and a never ending cycle and in that process people start to tune out.

correction: have NOT been able to attract new audience

I think that Lisa Niles was murdered by Anthony Zacchara.

none of them killed her it was johnnys father who did it i watched when had board in his hand and was standing over her she hung around him alot and he was on to what she was up to only johnny wont tell even tough he knows what his dds been up to

The story lines on all the ABC soaps have gotten so ridiculous and overused, it’s no wonder the soaps are dying off! Carly Jax….vying for Mother of the Year–is she ever home? Sonny-how many marriages and kids can he ruin? Crazy Dr,.Lisa–no one noticed her skulking around? Luke? time to retire! Seems like the good actors have all gone on to greener pastures before the final soap opera ship sinks!

I think it was Anthony, but either way who’s going to care by FEBRUARY?? That’s way too long to drag out a story that’s not that interesting anyway! Take a hint from the soaps that have been cut recently & dont follow their footsteps & get canceled too! Please?!

It’s way too obvious. The new girl cop…THey showed a woman cutting up the article on Lisa and slipping it into her purse (it’s a female)…She is trying to make a name for herself. Why else would the character have been added?? C’mon GH, give us a break? Are we really that stupid not to get it. Not worth watching anymore. At least Lisa added interest to an otherwise banal set of storylines. Ah, where are the good ol days. Lisa, you will so be missed!

I bet a million bucks its Steven who murdered Lisa. Steve had scratches on his face, which perhaps indicates a struggle between him and his intended victim ~ Lisa Niles. I would also guess that I do believe that this Dr. Maggie character (who is from Houston, and coincidentally, so is Lisa) is Lisa’s sister. I bet she will be a new reign of terror in this whole situation.
My second guess would be Anthony ~ he was pretty peeved that Lisa whacked him with that two-by-four with the nail in his gut, and probably decided that since he brought her back to life he would end it.

Feb. is too long I am on the edge already. I think a female killed Lisa. They showed a woman clipping out the headline of Lisa’s death & in the background they had that creepy clown mask. The same clown mask someone had on that day at the hospital. I think Lisa is not dead she must have a twin. Patrick & his brother is acting a little suspicious but I don’t think they killed her. Patrick most likely found her dead then he tossed her over

Ok I take the twin part back Lisa is really dead but this new lady is suspicious

I’m very disappointed with Gh lately. It’s so boring and stupid. I don’t care who killed Lisa Niles. The whole Luke thing was a big turn off. Lucky going to Ireland is as stupid as it gets! Robin grew up in front of my eyes and the stupid things she does is an insult to her character! I want to stop watching. I’m going to cut down to Monday’s and Fridays because the stories move too slowly. Abc I hope you’re reading this.

Has anyone even noticed that the picture in the article about Dr. Niles’ death doesn’t even look like her. It looks like someone else…what is that?

I want Spinelli to be the murderer. He probably came on the boat, came across Lisa while she was trying to off Robin and whacked her with the wrench! That would be the
best revenge ever and totally justified!

i know its johnnys dad hes been rotten from the beginning time to covict him of murder and give tracey a chance to get rid of him once and for all
