Who Would You Cast As The New Grayson Son Coming to REVENGE on Season Two?

A new ABC casting notice has gone out for a new role on the hit primetime soapy drama Revenge for it’s upcoming season two.   The role is to play Conrad’s son (Henry Czerny) from his first marriage.  Yes, that means another Grayson male is headed to the Hamptons.  That also means that Daniel (Josh Bowman) is not the only Grayson who is making a play for the family business!   Oh, the tangled web they weave in the writer’s room at Revenge  gets more … tangled!

The hit series is looking for a young actor to play the following:  “Intelligent and effortlessly handsome, this other heir apparent will attempt to reclaim his role in Conrad’s life and company, throwing the family and corporate dynamic into chaos.”

So soapers, who you would you cast in this role?  Who do you think would be a great fit in terms of looks, and acting chops to join Revenge?  With so many popular former soap stars and actors looking for a great part, this could be it!  And, do you think that this new man will make a play for the love or to control Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp)?    Weigh-in!

I would like to see them cast Van Hansis in this role.

I was thinking the very same.

I think he is too young or at least too young looking (which isn’t a bad thing). I would maybe suggest Jake Silbermann though instead who is almost 30 (and sexy as heck too).

I just looked at Van’s age and he is actually born in 81 which I can’t believe.

I would cast actor Peter Porte without a second thought!!!

Hmmmm…..Scott Bailey?

Love Scott Bailey & does need to be on a soap again. I’m not sure who I would cast in this role but there are several very sexy unemployed soap hunks out there.

Sarah, i was thinking Van Hansis too or even Josh Kelly.
I was also thinking Dave Annable, but he already has a new show on ABC.

New Grayson hunk needs to be older than Josh Bowman’s Daniel, so a man at age 30 or so? And would he need be perhaps of different features, not dark but more fair? I will give this one some thought. Hmmmmm…

I would LOVE to watch this show…unfortunately it is on ABC, so I will never see it. Lots of great former soap talent out there who could use the gig.

Grayson McCouch would be the perfect choice. He’d always remember his characters last name …but I think he’s on the disney channel in some fluff show. Oh well…maybe an unknown would be the best choice.

Revenge has done an amazing job with casting the current characters and with so many daytimers out of work, where would one begin?

His name is Peter Porte he just finished up his role as Ricky William on The Young and the Restless! This kid is going places Emmy all the way! He would be perfect as the brother unless he get’s the part as Christian Grey for Fifty Shades of Grey!!!

I think John Paul or Forbes March would be great in that part.

Cameron Matheson!

This is who I could see play this new character.
Chad Brannon (Zander GH)
Dylan Bruce (Chris ATWT)
Justin Bruening (Jamie AMC)
David A. Gregory (Ford OLTL)
Jay Kenneth Johnson (Philip Days)
Josh Kelly (Cutter OLTL)
Peter Porte (Ricky YR)

Eddie Cibrian, he is a great actor and gorgeous.

Jason Dohring would be amazing in this role. He was in Veronica Mars, Moonlight and Ringer.
