Y&R Casting Contract Role of College Grad, Max! Could it be a SORAS'd Kyle or Someone Else?

The Young and the Restless is adding yet another character to the canvas, and this time its for the younger set!  According to CBS Soaps In Depth, “A casting call for the contract role of Max, who is returning to Genoa City after graduating from college. While he’s a clean-cut, all American good guy, Max seems to have it all, but carries a chip on his shoulder for certain people in his past. ”

Many are speculating that this sounds like Jack Abbott’s son, Kyle, who was last seen being shipped off the canvas for a Hockey Scholarship!  If it is Kyle, he would definitely be SORAS’d, and if it isn’t, who could this be?  Clearly, with the summer upon us the younger set is always featured.

Who do you think fits the bill for this casting call?  Let us know!

Well he should be close in age to Abby and this would do that.

Maybe a son for Darnell Williams’ new character, Sarge?

Whomever it is, please, please, PLEASE do NOT let it be more family for Chelsea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wouldn’t be for Sarge. It’s something RETURNING to Genoa City.

Could it be another recasted Noah?

Another new character to add too the pack of newbies? Good grief. I’d rather they bring “clean-cut, all American good guy” Chance back.

Phillip Chancellor the IV is major legacy character, why isn’t he in town being groomed to run his grandfather’s company. We hear the name Chancellor all the time yet no real Chancellors (by blood) live in GC.

it would be a big leap if it was kyle especially with it being a college grad………i wold like it more if it was noah………..

Could be a recast if paul’s son Ricky or Noah

Could patti have possibly had a son during those years she was gone

How a about Scotty lauren’s son just in time to be a suspect in daisy’s revenge shooting?

They’re not recasting Ricky at all. Nor Noah. They tried Noah and it failed. Plus, Peter Porte is fine as Ricky. It’s either Scotty or Kyle.

Unrealistic if MAB does this for Kyle she should have done it right the first time. He is a yr older then Abby. I just scream this show is a Mess! How the morale can be anything but in the dumps is beyond me but still every actor from that show sings her praises I know they need a job. I would have more respect if they just would not discuss that woman who has the brain of a twelve year old and that is being generous!

Kyle? I hope not. The pre-adolescent kid left around Christmas 2011 and now we’re supposed to think he’s an adult? That’s quite a stretch. The new character may be Lauren’s kid, Scotty or the presumed dead Dylan (the baby Sheila wanted Lauren believe was hers). BTW, who is Jill’s biological mother? We know Neil Fenmore is her biological father. Attn: MAB this is good story material and no need for a bunch of newbies. Just saying.

Worse things have happening in the past concerning SORAS’ed characters. I mean, the guy playing Noah now played him as a teenager, then they SORAS’ed him again with someone new then brought the old actor back.

i think it micheal and lorin son

Do not SORAS Kyle, let the poor kid have some time alone without his mother.

Hopefully it’s just a recasted Fenmore, or something. But does this show really need more people? Ditch some cast and update the opener for once!

I am back in country after 10 years, I was able to watch young and restless and
catch up without any problem, it amazed me how a lot of the characters have
reformed do the writers not realize people have been following these characters for years I guess miracels are possible on soaps still it is hard to change my opinion of
some of the characters !!!!!!!!!

According to Hollywood Reporter…someone named Blake Hood will be playing the part of Kyle soon. Didn’t he just leave town as a teen? This guy looks like a 20 something actor. I have no idea who he is, but he was on 90210 re-dux. Didn’t they just wrap up the who killed Diane Jenkins so-called mystery…as if anyone really cared!

I LOVE Maura West, but quite frankly, she was screwed big time in that deal. Now the kid will be aged beyond belief. Should we wonder why the soaps ratings are so bad? Writing and Production that makes no sense. I am about to try the new/old General Hospital for a change. Maybe brining back characters viewers know and love and hopefully understand with the crazy writing/aging beyond belief going on in soaps these days will make sense.

Sean Kanan’s Stepdaughter, Juliet Vega, to Appear on The Bold and the Beautiful

Coming up on this Friday’s April 26th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Juliet Vega, the stepdaughter to Sean Kanan will make an appearance on the CBS daytime drama series in the role of Michele.

Keeping it “All in the Family”, the character is named after Juliet’s real-life mother, and Kanan’s wife, writer and producer, Michele Kanan.

Back in 2012, Sean married Michele Vega and thus began their blended family which included his daughter, Simone, and Michelle’s children, Peter, Gigi, and her twins, Annie and Juliet.

According to a B&B show spokesperson, Juliet’s B&B character is intentionally named Michele in honor of her mother and Sean’s wife.

While we don’t know how “Michele” shows up in story, it is the same episode that Clint Howard makes an appearance as well seemingly tied to the case of where in the world is Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)?

We can’t imagine that Juliet wouldn’t get the opportunity to mix it up on-screen with her stepdad, Sean Kanan. Previously, the two acted together in Sean’s streaming series Studio City, where she played the role of Delilah and he played soap actor, Sam Stevens. In it, Delilah is the bio-daughter Sam never knew he had.

So, looking forward to seeing Juliet on B&B and how ‘Michele’ turns up in the story? Comment below.

Cameron Mathison Previews New Game Show ‘Beat The Bridge’ (Promo)

As previously reported, Cameron Mathison (Drew, General Hospital) will be seen doing double duty this summer when he premieres in June as the host of Game Show Network’s Beat The Bridge.

Now, while Cameron will be the host with the most, that doesn’t mean he will stop playing GH’s Drew.  In fact, Mathison taped the game show in 2023, so it will now air for the first time in 2024.

Taking to his Instagram this week, Cameron shared his enthusiasm and some new hosting snaps, sharing, “Our newest game show host reporting for duty😎 Head over to the Game Show Network YouTube channel for your first look at the show and don’t miss Beat The Bridge premiering this June! I can’t wait for you guys to see this!”

In Beat The Bridge, an enormous interactive bridge dares players to cross by stepping on the right answers to challenging trivia questions. As they play, each steps forward and puts money in their team’s bank, with bonus money for each successful crossing. Here’s the catch: the team gets to keep the money only if it can “beat the bridge” by returning one of its players back across before time expires.

Meanwhile, on GH, Drew and Nina (Cynthia Watros) recently had hate-sex. Do you think its a one-time deal? Where will Drew’s story take him next under new head writers, Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte? Stay tuned.

There has been lot of soapy projects coming to life and in the works of late, and now comes word that Kim Kardashian is executive producing a new series in development for Netflix called Calabasas.

After a bidding war last week, it looks like Netflix cemented the development deal from Kim, and her producing partners American Horror Story co-star Emma Roberts (pictured below) and Pretty Little Liars creators Marlene King and Alexandra Milchan.

It’s a place where dreams come true … but not without complications and sometimes unforeseen consequences.”
