It has not been an easy road for The Young and the Restless Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) since breaking his elbow during a fight scene on the set of the number one soap opera.

Daniel has documented his recovery from the injuries, the surgery he went through to install metal into his arm, and more.  If you caught Monday’s episode of the series, you could see that Goddard was even taping scenes several weeks ago with his very injured arm.

This morning via his Twitter account, Goddard revealed he must undergo emergency surgery on Tuesday relating: “Emergency surgery scheduled for today. My body is rejecting the metal in my elbow and I have get it out ASAP 🙁 ”  The tweet came with a picture of how the actor’s elbow is looking in its current state prior to surgery.

Meanwhile on Y&R, things are looking bleak with Cane’s relationship with Lily (Christel Khalill).  She seems to be sucumbbing to Joe’s (Scott Elrod) charms yet again! Will Lily get a clue?

Share your well-wishes for a speedy recovery and successful surgery for Daniel today in the comment section below!

Hope his surgery goes well and wish him a speedy recovery!

Sorry Daniel, that really sucks. Hope it’s better soon.

As for Lily, she will never get a clue. Lily is and always has been easy, she is always right and everyone else is wrong even if she’s done the same thing. The actress is very one dimensional to begin with, so Lily is a very boring character.

I hope Lily will get a clue – but right now she’s just being stupid.

Get Well Soon!!!!

Best wishes!

Wow–this is more serious than I previously had thought. Poor guy!
I hope he’s on the mend sooner rather than later.
Back to fantasy–Cane needs to dump Lilly ASAP. She has been horrid to him time and time again. She cheats on him, doesn’t believe him when he professes his innocence pertaining to the ransom money, she refuses to let him see his own children on Halloween all the while making goo goo eyes at Joe.
He’s too good for her–always has been.

Daniel is a great Actor so sorry for his injury, God Bless Him. Um He is in prayer for his surgery. Keep your chin up Daniel.

WOW! I’M SO SORRY THAT YOU ARE GOING THRU THIS. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE PAIN. WISHES FOR A SPEEDY N HEALTHY RECOVERY.

So so sorry. Prayers for a quick recovery. Love you on the show

The good news is Joe Clark is taking that annoying Lilly off your hands. The bad news is the bastard broke your arm! Good luck Daniel!

Praying for Daniel!! Poor guy is going through the wringer. What an ordeal! Yuck.

I hope Daniel is covered by Workers’ Compensation…

Good luck out there. Well wishes to you for a fast and prompt recovery Cain. The writers really need to get a grip on things letting a man walk in a room knowing his wife is there with his so call best friend. They all need to get a clue and new writers.

Still waiting for Drucilla to return and teach Lily a thing or two.
