In an amazing moment on Monday shared on social media by The Young and the Restless star Greg Rikaart (Kevin), the actor revealed he has become a father!

Rikaart took to his Instagram with a photo of himself alongside his husband, TV writer Robert Sudduth, and the new addition to their family, Montgomery Argo Rikaart-Sudduth.

Greg shared his joy with the world with his post:  “We fight hate, fear, bigotry, homophobia and injustice in the world with love, intellect and enlightenment. In the truest and most pure definitions of the latter words, it is with full hearts that Rob and I take great pride in introducing our son, Montgomery Argo Rikaart-Sudduth.   He was born in Roseville, CA at 5:01pm on 6/12/16. He is light and love and magic. Monte, Rob, myself and Marcela, our trooper of a surrogate, are all doing fantastic.”

Send your congratulations and well-wishes to Greg and Robert in the comment section below!

Wow, wonderful news Greg. I hope you and Robert enjoy your bundle of joy. Congrats and God bless. I am getting married, to my boyfriend in 2 weeks. I am nervous, we have had our ups and downs. I came out of the closet 2 years ago, I am comfortable with myself and love my soon to be husband very much. I am 30 years old, and soon to be husband is 32 years old. To the tragedy in Orlando Florida, let’s pray for the family of the victims. We are all devasted in what happened on Sunday. Amen. I live in Vancouver BC Canada. We have friends all over the united States. This tragedy has hit all of us. We are all praying and thinking of the familys. Amen.

@Ricardo…. Congrats to you and yours…

AND … to Mr. Greg Rikaart and his family… beautiful

Thank you so much Patrick, I wish you all the best in life. Your comments on this site are wonderful. Nice well thought written comments. You always make me laugh and always agree with your comments.

Ricardo,

Dude…C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S to you and your boyfriend!!!!!!!!!! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness.

You and your boyfriend take care.

This is the greatest news. I know that you are going to be in the best place of your lives…so far. Best of everything to you!

Congratulations to Greg and his family.

What an amazing amazing gift from God for them both! CONGRATULATIONS!!

All the best, Greg, Rob and new baby boy Montgomery. You are blessed.

Celia, you and so many here have been so gracious — it is so refreshing. And, as you mentioned elsewhere in reply to me, I don’t have any patience for Dark Ages-thinking or intolerance. Take care, Friend!

Celia,

More and more, I get TOTALLY ANGRY whenever I read articles about or see news reports on TV about certain countries condemning gay people!!!!! Beyond sad.

Later, my friend.

Congratulations to the Greg and Robert and Happy Birthday to little Monte!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATS! Greg and Robert..
Your lives have entered stage 2, enjoy the journey of fatherhood ..

Congratulations man!

Congrats guys, very exciting, happy for both of you!

A birth of a child always instills hope and after the events of last few days, a little hope is always welcome. Praying when this child is a man the world has become a kinder and gentler place for all.

Mazel Tov to the happy family. Let the good times roll.

CONGRATULATIONS to both of you I wish you well on your journey of being parents

Love you
Edna

I am truly shocked to know this actor Greg Rikaart is actually gay…. He’s a man that any woman would desire to have as an husband, but hearing of him being gay it’s a shock to me. My country Jamaica doesn’t support gays at all.

Well, no, I wouldn’t want to have him as a husband as he doesn’t ‘like’ women. 😉 Anyway, that’s why it’s called acting! 🙂

Casey, I wish you’d clarify your remarks — for your own sake. I can’t tell whether you agree or disagree with your “country Jamaica.” Thanks.

I don’t know what’s worse, James….living in the Dark Ages or intolerance….or do they cancel each other out?????
I wish I understood Casey’s point?
WOW!! Later, my friend.

James…it seems to me that Casey lives in the Dark Ages (or whatever). Very, very sad.

Later, Brother.

Congratulations to Greg and Rob. All the best to the new family!

Congrats on your new bundle of joy!

Congrats all the health, happiness and love for your family.

Congratulations! ‘Love is love is love is love is love is…..’

How wonderful! Congratulations! So nice to hear some great news in these particularly gloomy news days.

Big Congrats To Greg & Robert! Yay! 😀 😀 😀 😀

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S to Greg and Robert on the newest addition to their family!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!

Congratulations to the proud parents! You both are truly blessed..

Congratulations to both of you form a very longtime young and the restless fan

What a beautiful bundle of joy. Happy for you Greg & Robert. Now comes diaper change & lack of sleep! P.S. It’s worth it!

For years I’ve thought of Greg Rikaart as the ideal man: talented, funny, clearly compassionate and with a strong social conscience. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s one of the few actors who know how to wear clothes or that he has a killer smile and gorgeous hair. I’m glad he’s happy and has someone who appreciates him and they can share their love with a very blessed child. At least something good happened this week!

Congrats to Greg and family!
