A Timtervention? And that's just one of the things panned in review of "The Revolution"!

Courtesy/ABC
Well, the first reviews are starting to pour in. And, there is a really awful one from The Chicago Sun-Times on the first episode of ABC’s replacement for One Life to Live … The Revolution!
Complete with lame segments and the boring metamorphosis of one women’s journey from her battle with weight to finally fitting into a smaller dress size, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, “There is nothing revolutionary about The Revolution.”
Here are a few excerpts from the review below:
“What it actually delivers — besides one long Macy’s commercial — is a bunch of platitudes, lame tips (“embrace color”), television’s millionth makeover and advice from the no-duh handbook. On Monday’s debut, style guru Tim Gunn (“Project Runway”) gave one woman a “Timtervention” by swapping her mom jeans for a miniskirt. He then shared one of the fashion world’s biggest secrets: High heels make legs look longer. Thanks, Officer Obvious. Maybe on Tuesday we’ll learn that hats are worn on the head. The show also focuses on one or two women — as their lives are changed during a five-month transformation that gets condensed to five days. Each week, the players will change. But you can bet the plot will stay the same, starting with tears and ending in a smaller dress size.”
Thoughts, soapers?

Spencer Pratt, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Guest Star and Reality Show Notable, Holds Second Place and Poised for L.A. Mayor Runoff
As of Wednesday morning June 3, Spencer Pratt (Rich, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Hills et al), who is running for the mayor of Los Angeles, is firmly in second place behind incumbent Mayor Karen Bass in the primary election. Pratt has a comfortable 30% of the vote, ahead of City Councilwoman Nithya Raman at 22%. Bass has 37% of the city’s vote.
In Los Angeles, if no candidate receives more than 50% of all votes cast in Tuesday’s primary, the top two finishers move on to a runoff on November 3rd. The Democratic Bass has already achieved enough votes for the run0ff. Now, it’s a formality to sit-back and wait for the Republican Pratt, till all the votes are counted before he can officially be the runoff.
Pratt told KTLA, “I literally could not be more excited. I got in this because as a citizen I felt like my city failed myself, my neighbors, my family. Mayor Bass has allowed the city to become covered in potholes. Then there’s the moms who want to be able to go to the parks and not see anybody shooting up fentanyl with their pants off.

PRATT CRITICAL OF MAYOR OF LOS ANGELES KAREN BASS
The reality star has been critical of Bass when she was MIA during the LA wildfires where he lost his Pacific Palisades home. It was back in January that Spencer made it clear of his intention to throw his hat into the ring in politics: Spencer expressed, “I’ve been in the public eye most of my life and there isn’t any dirt you can find on me that hasn’t already been aired. Seems like the only thing people don’t know is my voter registration, so here go: I registered Republican in 2020 and never changed it, and I wasn’t going to change it now just to check a different box. This is a non-partisan race – there will be no D or R next to my name. As Mayor, I will not serve either party. I will work with anyone who wants to help the City. No labels necessary.
FROM REALITY TO SOAP STAR TO AN LA MAYORAL CANDIDATE
Pratt rose to notoriety first appearing in 2005 as a friend of Brody Jenner on the reality series The Princes of Malibu, a series which Pratt, then co-created and executive produced. Later, in 2007, he joined the cast of The Hills, where he dated and eventually married Heidi Montag with whom he shared two children. Both he and Montag previously appeared on The Bold snd the Beautiful back in April of 2025, when they played guests at a Forrester fashion show.
B&B welcomed back reality star as Rich, when he appears on the January 28 episode in scenes with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) and Laneya Grace (Electra Forrester) as Steffy and Electra.
So, what do you think about Spencer Pratt’s bid to become the Mayor of Los Angeles? He would follow a long line of “celebrities” who eventually made into public office.

Peabo Bryson, Grammy Award-Winning Singer of Memorable ‘One Life to Live’ Theme Song, Passes Away at 75
One of the great vocalists of our time, Peabo Bryson died on Tuesday night, June 2 at the age of 75, following reports over the weekend he had suffered a stroke.
In a statement to Variety, Bryson’s family wrote, in part, “With broken hearts and profound sadness, the family of two-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and balladeer, Peabo Bryson, announces his passing, He transitioned peacefully at 5:00 p.m. ET on the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and those closest to him.”
They added, “For more than five decades, Peabo’s extraordinary voice served as the soundtrack to some of life’s most cherished moments. His music carried generations through joyful celebrations, great love stories and enduring moments of comfort and inspiration, creating a legacy that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him and the countless lives he touched through song. This deeply difficult moment, the family asks for privacy as they mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, family member, friend and artist whose impact extended far beyond the stage.”

“We are tremendously moved by the outpouring of love, prayers and support from fans, friends, and colleagues around the world,” the family continued, “While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing how deeply Peabo was loved and how many lives were touched by his voice and his generous spirit. His legacy and music will live on for generations to come.”
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST AND OTHER TOP HITS
Bryson is best-known for his vocal performances and string of hits including his duets with Celine Dion of the title track of Disney’s 1991 Beauty and the Beast, and his solo vocal work in the film version of Aladdin’s 1992 “A Whole New World.” Peabo had a slew of R&B hits throughout his career including: “Tonight I Celebrate My Love,” with the late Roberta Flack, “Feel the Fire,” to his top hit “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again,” to “Can You Stop the Rain,” and many more.
“TONIGHT I CELEBRATE MY LOVE” BECAME BO AND HOPE’S THEME
In fact, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” became the iconic theme song of the enduring romance between Days of Our Lives super couple, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso) for years. The moment occurred in 1983, when Hope turned 18 at her party she danced the night away with Bo to the memorable song. “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” also went to number #1 on the Billboard charts.
Peter Reckell took to X on Tuesday, June 2upon learning the news of Bryson’s death and expressed, “They say a song can immediately bring you back to emotions and memories. ‘Celebrate my love’ does exactly that! So sorry to hear the loss of Peabo Bryson. Love and support goes out to family and friends!”
The official Days of Our Lives Instagram account also acknowledged Bryon’s passing, sharing, “We are saddened to hear of the passing of Peabo Bryson, whose unforgettable voice helped soundtrack one of Days of our Lives’ most beloved love stories. His duet with Roberta Flack, ‘Tonight, I Celebrate My Love,’ became the theme song for Bo Brady and Hope Williams, and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of Days fans. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all who loved his music.”

ONE LIFE TO LIVE MAIN THEME SONG WITH VOCALS
However, One Life to Live fans remember Bryson’s voice as the singer on the the 1985 new modern theme song, (since many of the soaps of that time were going to more vocals in their opening title sequences), where they took the previous instrumental version of their title sequence and adapted it as the main theme. That theme song ran for seven years on the ABC daytime drama series from 1985-1991. In fact, Bryson appeared on One Life to Live in 1985 to perform the main theme song.
In addition, Peabo returned to ABC daytime when he appeared on All My Children in 1992, Bryson’s song “I Found Love” was used to for the love story of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and Dimitri Marick (Michael Nader) and received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 1993 for Best Original Song.
That same year, Bryson would make a guest appearance in Pine Valley, where he performing a rendition of “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” with Tonya Perkins (Livia Frye), at Livia’s and Tom Cudahy’s (Richard Shoberg) wedding reception.
Share your condolences and remembrances of Peabo Bryson and take a look and listen to his vocals from the One Life to Live theme song of the mid 80s to early 90s. ‘General Hospital’ SORAS’s Scout Cain and Casts Kayden Brenna Tokarski in the Role of Drew and Sam’s Daughter
In General Hospital casting news, none other than Scout Cain just grew up right before our eyes! In a case of SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) the daughter of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and the late Sam McCall (formerly played by Kelly Monaco) has been recast.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Kayden Brenna Tokarski takes over the role from Cosette Abinante who has played Scout since 2022. If you caught yesterday’s GH 16,000 episode on set cast celebration video, you may have witnessed Kayden at the festivities. The young actress will make her debut in July since GH tapes about six weeks ahead of air.
Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday, June 2, Kayden confirmed her casting by posting: “A DREAM COME TRUE. So honored to be joining the General Hospital family!! Biggest thanks to Mark Teschner (casting director, GH) and Frank Valentini (EP, GH) for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to work on this iconic show.”

Courtesy/ABC
The decision to make a sharp turn with the age of the character was for upcoming story purposes, and to open up Scout for more teenaged and young adult storylines; especially since Drew Cain is eventually going to come out of his locked-in state and perhaps Scout can go at war with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) for what she did to her father? Stay tuned.
SCOUT CAIN READY FOR TEENAGE ROMANCE?
As General Hospital viewers know, Scout was born in 2017, which makes her about 9 before the SORAS occurred. Some rumors are circulating that a more teenaged Scout could become a love interest fo Finn Carr’s Rocco Falonceri? Previously, the two characters bonded over Sam’s death, since at the time Rocco’s father, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was engaged to Sam, and the two, along with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), tried to stick together as “brothers and sister,” after her mom passed. But will that relationship dynamic change?
Tokarski who is 16, has an impressive acting resume which includes: Gaslit on Starz. Lifetime’s My Professor’s Deadly Secret, where she played Lauren the on-screen daughter of Passions and Y&R alum James Hyde (ex-Sam and ex-Jeremy Stark, respectively) character of John, and another Lifetime thriller, Killer in the Woods.
More recently, Kayden completed production on the indie thriller Quads & the Kicker, and can be seen in the upcoming Curse of Vandor starring Dee Wallace (ex-Pat Spencer, GH). The actress has also appeared in numerous national ad and branding campaigns including being featured opposite Joey Fantone in a Red Lobster commercial and voicing the part of “Wednesday Addams” in a Wendy’s commercial as a tie-in to the Netflix series Wednesday.
So, what do you think of General Hospital casting Kayden Brenna Tokarski as the new Scout Cain? Let us know your thoughts via the comment section below.

Dear The Revolution
Please fail so that ABC cancels you and give away for timeslot to General Hospital in September.
Sincerely yours
Heather
Although OLTL was by far my favorite soap on ABC, it is now a thing of the past. But GH isn’t and it’s not too late to save it. It’s time for OLTL and GH fans to put their differences aside and to join forces to save General Hospital.
I’m calling out all OLTL fans, GH fans as well as Y&R/B&B/DAYS fans to boycott The Revolution like the plague and to support General Hospital by watching it live on ABC as much as possible (if possible, avoid the DVD or online thing). I know that General Hospital isn’t exactly the best soap right now, but it needs our help and it’s time to save it and prevent this cancellation trend that has completely wiped out the NY soaps to infiltrate itself on the LA soaps.
Because if General Hospital gets canceled, you can be sure that these anti-soap executives won’t stop it there and will go after the three remaining soaps until they have succeeded in fully killing a genre that has existed since the 1930s .
So let us, ALL soap opera fans, join force to save General Hospital and show these bigwig network executives that soap operas are still a viable business in 2012.
I stopped watching WABC when it all was announced and only view GH now, have switched to WCBS The Bold and Beautiful and Young and Restless.
Dear The Revolution
Please fail so that ABC cancels you and give away your timeslot to General Hospital in September.
Sincerely yours
Heather
This is good news for General Hospital and the soap opera community in general. But keep in mind that The Chew started bad and eventually did well in the ratings. So we should be careful to not fully rejoice yet. Nevertheless, this news has made my day.
I think a potential 2:00pm slot for General Hospital starting in September could be a good thing for the GH fans who already watch DAYS or the two CBS soaps. They could just switch to ABC at 2:00pm instead of hanving to wait until 3:00pm . For the same reason, it could also attract new B&B/DAYS fans and get them to start watching GH.
Heather, keep in mind that the Chew ratings #s were piggybacked off the direct lead-in to OLTL. They were banking on the soap fans tuning in 3 minutes before 2pm to give them a boost in the ratings, which was a temporary and false boost to be sure. Now that the Chew is followed by an equally suck-y reality show, you’re going to see the ratings TANK.
BORING!
YYaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! and I like watching cooking shows I just can’t get it to the chew it is boring!!!!
I seem to remember The Chew getting similar reviews. I don’t think it matters much since these lame shows are all so much cheaper.
Marilyn, you are exactly right. The negative reviews are irrelevant–people are eating it up. Frons and ABC won. The Chew’s ratings are higher than AMC and The Revolution’s are practically the same as OLTL. Cancelling soaps and creating replacements was never about what viewers wanted, information, or quality–it was simply to lower production costs, generating more revenue. ABC knows it can count on enough lowest-common-denominator-porcine-bottom-feeders, with neither taste nor willpower, to watch and enjoy pig slop. The majority that watches rules. The real revolution will not happen until enough people stop watching television altogether.
There are so many shows JUST LIKE THIS ONE..ABC is kidding themselves. I have so much in my own life that I don’t really care about other people’s issues and I certainly don’t want to sit and listen to a bunch of overweight people cry about how overweight they are. WALK.
Love that the critic is being honest!! No one wanted another stupid makeover show in the first place! ABC screwed up! Duh.
I watched OLTL every single day for almost 20 years.
I will NEVER watch The Revolution. Take it to the bank.
Ugh, ugh. I haven’t (and won’t) watch, but I can just imagine. You know, this reminds me of women’s magazines, which are always wanting us to make ourselves “better” instead of loving who we are. I just can’t understand the appeal of these kinds of shows.
Lame cliche dribble to “replace” history making story telling. Hardly. TIIC really messed up!
The review says it all. This show is simply a re-do of a million others, which may have been original at one point. This one isn’t on any level. The hosts have done better things elsewhere, and even if this drivel wasn’t replacing an honored and beloved show, it wouldn’t be worth 1/60th of the 60 minutes its on the air.
I couldn’t agree more with that. And I haven’t even watched it and have no plans to. I not wasting my time in watch that crappy show(s) that replaced over 80 plus years of soaps & that’s not including GH’s years, which are 49 yrs this April.
I’m glad that the reviews are so bad….but that doesn’t help the fact that our beloved shows are history. The Chew had a terrible start, but it’s still on……. so while the fans are doing a happy dance that these 2 shows are pf poor quality……..we were lied to, and had the rug pulled right out from under us. I feel bad for everyone……
i don’t need these phonies on my tv ,please take them away,!
This tripe may save ABC money, but the advertisers want viewers who will then buy their product! Soaps did that!
Write to the sponsors who advertise during the Chew and the Revolution and tell them that you will boycott their products. Hoover already pulled their advertising from all time slots with ABC. Hoover knew that the viewers jumped ship and left.
I freaking love it!!!! LOL
I’m sure that the Revolution will be a BIG BUST—-just like the Spew!!! I think ABC is now “seeing” for themselves how many soap viewers that they have lost—-BUT I doubt they will ever admit it to us. 🙁
Hee hee Bob Iger and his lack of corporate governance. He doesnt think that any of the viewers are also shareholders of ABC. +
People are tired of being told there is something wrong with them that needs to be changed . Just shows how completely out of touch ABC/Disney is with the real world and the people that live in it! People want to be entertained not preached to.
In all honesty this show and The Chew already have networks for them. Food Network and TLC should pick these shows up so we can have AMC and OLTL back! Since SoapNet is going off the air in March I firmly believe ABC has made a mistake! No matter how Rough the ratings get for Soaps the fans are dedicated and involved in these shows! We don’t want to watch real lives when we do that everyday with our own selves. We want to get away from it all and that’s what Soaps do for us! Please stop the Madness and Save our SOAPS!
You are so right! Every word, I agree with.
I’m really glad you agree and hopefully we will get it through those thick heads that SOAPS should NEVER die!!
Amen! I agree 100%
This show sounds truly awful! I certainly won’t watch it. I want my OLTL!
Well that mess was the vision of Frons and disney…. Can we please have our soaps back.
watched it today for the first time…don’t even know why I did it except wanting to know what they brought on to replace my favorite all time show…..what garbage…..
I wouldn’t let my daughter watch this degrading type of stereo typing of women…my golly, where are they coming from? Never again…
LOL – “Officer Obvious”….I won’t watch this show. I’m not even curious. The commercials even look dull.
Pretty funny-Officer Obvious. I caught a couple of minutes of today’s show & was taught how to make a healthy salad at a salad bar! Imagine, what great, helpful, life changing information!
LOL I know right…oooo, lettuce…healthy…..
The sad thing is, even if AMC & OLTL were to come back…so many of the stars have moved on, so the shows wouldn’t be the same. Not to mention, GH has snatched up Frank & Ron. I don’t care what anyone says, those guys have done amazing things at OLTL. I know that every story isn’t perfect, and everything doesn’t always go the way we want them, but overall, Frank & Ron made OLTL incredible.
And might I add, I knew that The Revolution was going to be incredibly stupid, when I saw the commercial for the show and Tim Gunn was standing in a closet saying, “Sweat pants are for the gym, not for wearing out ladies.” Gee that’s a fresh tip, right there. This show is a giant waste of time.
Oh I know, these shows are downright embarrassing.
Well, compared to the few soaps left on the air today, OLTL WAS pretty darned perfect. I am only 1/2 thru the next to last episode. I have a terrible cold & I know if I start crying I’ll be in trouble. So I am dragging the last shows out, if I haven’t seen them, it’s not over . . . . I taped every show since Nov. 23 & just wish I’d taped lots more prior to then. If I’d only known PP was not gonna happen. If we could get the shows back, even if some people don’t rejoin & even without Frank & Ron, I would take my chances & be so glad to have Llanview to visit every day, for better or worse.
Yay!!! Let this awful Reekolution end, and end soon!! I cannot believe how a network, which had some of the BEST daytime programs on the air, has now lowered the bar so much, that there will soon be nothing to watch. Both the Spew and the Reekolution, are 2 examples of horrendous mistakes that took place in less than a 6-month span.
OLTL was the best daytime drama out there! It was the highest rated ABC soap, and was 3rd overall for daytime dramas. I still can’t believe its off the air. So very unfair!! Its scary to think about the individuals who make such decisions, which in the end, can backfire on it by losing viewers that they will likely never get back.
I’m really missing Clint today:(
I do not understand why ABC thinks that all viewers are over weight or that they like to cook. I for one am not over weight and I am a good cook, and could care less about having some one showing me recipes. Any way I live in a small town, and the local Piggly Wiggly doesn’t carry the ingredients. Ty Pennington use to be one of my Favorites, but even his show the Extreme Makeover got away from what it started out to be. Which was to help families have a decent home. He is a builder and now he thinks he can tell over weight Women how to lose weight ,and the other Dude tell Women what to wear!!! I am sick to death of these shows!! Soap Operas were around to bring a little fantasy in peoples lives!! What happened to TV. Now its all News Channels Health Channels and now Reality TV shows!! We have enough reality in our lives and we want the fantasies that Soaps were able to bring!! When i was a Kid in the 70’s you had your local news Bewitch and the Brady Bunch and Gun Smoke at night, and the Soaps during the day!! May be that is why my generation does so much better and this one now have problems!! Too much reality, and people telling them this is what you got to do or you aren’t good enough!!!! Think about all the over weight Women that are watching this crap and saying to them selves I have tried to lose weight, but its not coming off, and thinking to them selves. I am just not good enough or I am doing some thing wrong., because Ty says so!!! Erica kane never did that she brought you entertainment and let those women be themselves for an hour!~!!
I never like to wish anyone ill will, but I will say, I am happy to hear that the initial reviews are not good for this new show. I will not watch it, so I cannot critique it myself, but if the “endless” commercials that have been on, are any indication, this show will sink quickly.
Ah, yes…one MORE show telling me that the right shade of lipstick and a new pair of heels is going to change my life. ABC, you haven’t even begun to realize yet what a mistake you have made with this new show. Lifestyle shows and cooking shows and those lame “reality” shows? Just how many of these things do you think your viewers will put up with? And as a coming attraction, you are touting yet another talk show, with that tiresome Katie Couric…FAIL!
Yeah… I stopped watching biggest loser a couple of years ago. This is nothing new…nothing revolutionary….and the biggest joke is the Revolution (aka the Pollution) follows a show that revolves around food. That was a brilliant idea to put those two shows together…NOT! They might as well call the afternoon line up “binge and purge” instead of what it used to be “love in the afternoon”. They did replace Kimberly Locke and brought in Ty Pennington I guess since that other show he does has been popular…but I didn’t watch that show either. I have HGTV for that. I miss OLTL so much….TV is so boring now!
I buy tools for the kitchen that have more than one use. Groundbreaking stuff! Now we are learning that high heels make women’s legs longer. What would we ever do without the goo and the devolution! Sorry state of 2012 America. Enough said. Long live ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
I want to scream when I see this is what replaced One Life to Live. We may never see Victoria Lord again, and these people get to be on TV now. I hate them all.
ME TOO!
OMG !!! Give me a BREAK !!! All I can say is ABC/Disney made a BIG MISTAKE cancelling AMC & OLTL !! They lost of viewers in daytime & night time. I hope they know what kind of mistake they made, but they won’t admit to it. I’m very saddened & heartbroken that my shows are no longer on. Then they have to put this garbage on instead, Just so sad.
Bring on The Revocation!
I agree with all the comments I’ve been reading. Plus I also remember that a few months ago the ratings for the Spew were rock bottom at the beggining, but as we all know it’s still on! Okay, so the Powers that Be don’t care because these shows are cheaper to make. But what I really don’t understand is when so many of the Soap Fans are not watching these replacement shows aren’t the advertisers losing money BIG TIME!! I mean if it truly is about the money, aren’t the companies who are sponsoring these shows bleeding buckets of it!! Soap Fans had to be their best customers and they’ve lost us. Therefore, do they want to continue to back programming that so many people aren’t watching ? It just doesn’t make any sense! I must say, I thought my daily routine of watching my shows in the evening after I got home from work took a big hit after AMC was gone, but I can honestly say now that OLTL is gone too, nothing feels normal. I looked forward to days off so I could watch them in the daytime. Now, I’m content to work my normal workweek. At least there is still GH and I can’t wait to see the Mannings and John McBain when they go over there. It’s something to look forward to seeing and hopefully they will be on for a while.
Yes!. Just what I have been saying. Sponsors won’t continue to advertise with ABC when they realiize that their $$$ are going into a black hole with no return. Write or call the sponsors to let them know you will boycott their products if they continue to sponsor ABC/Disney. ABC does not care what viewers want – it’s about cost cutting and the bottom line. However, they will listen to their sponsors when ad sales take a nose dive. Reinforce boycott efforts by going through the sponsors.
I turned on The Revolution yesterday. I could not get past the first segment introduction and after had to switch stations.
I don’t want to sound heartless but quite honestly….I am sick and tired of turning on TV and seeing people with their problems.
We all are confronted with our own day to day life’s situations and problems to some degree.
Good grief…to think the executives think this show will be an enjoyable entertainment experience to watch these individuals through their 5 month rebirth journey (which will be condensed to 5 days of actual TV time). This is nothing more than induced labor for the viewer.
It is so uncalming to watch talk shows that have more than one host. I dislike The View for that reason and stopped watching it two years ago.
So I am looking forward to the “Mannings” on GH in February. Although I really do not like GH.
You are so right Jane. The View, The Talk, The Chew, The Revolution-all have FIVE annoying hosts-The only one I’ve watched is The View & that was at the beginning but I could never stand it for long-it gets on my last nerve, everyone loud & talking over each other.
The ONLY problems I want to see in the afternoons are the problems of Llanview.
I agree with you about GH-while I will be glad to see the Mannings over there, kind of I guess, I have a hard time watching GH. It needs a 100% overhaul.
Watch a bit of GH today….was thinking somehow I need to try and get into it so when the Mannings appear it will feel right. But I really think I will gradually lose interest. Blair won’t be on for only a few times and it’s not like GH will have Todd on everyday. And they have so many young people on GH that it is not my cup of tea. I will miss the older seasoned actors of OLTL.
I have watched the final OLTL episode a few times already I am starting to know the dialogue.
If anything it is a good brain exercise.
I am working those brain cells for sure !
Oh Tim, even you can’t ” MAKE IT WORK “! Bring back the soaps ABC!
I agree…..
For the couple of minutes that I actually watched the first day of broadcast….As I looked at Tim I could not get rid of the image of him on Project Runway saying
“carry on..” to the designers. Yeah….”make it work”.
Not saying I would want the Revolution to be successful but I think they would have been better with all unknows as hosts. And then of course in a different time slot for sure. This show is really a night show type….what were they thinking. Oh right…they were not.
How does it feel ABC? Your “TIMTERVENTION” is not the brightest bulb on the block according to the Chicago Sun-Times..now that’s saying something..I can’t believe how Frons & the rest of the idiots at ABC said such condescending things to soap fans…& then on the TV Series Finale website…there was an article about Charles Barkley the former basketball player stating on Conan O’brien how much he missed AMC!!!…I really think “The Chew” is still on because someone at ABC would rather be thought of a being right. then actually being right..anyone can manipulate numbers, I have been working in accounting for 27 years..I would really like to see some auditors “explore” tv ratings…..anyways.,..thanks for the excerpts from the newspaper article..it gave me a really good laugh…
Bring back love in the afternoon!!! Bring back our One life to live and As the World turns and create a new one!!!! We fans are loyal!!! Part of growing up is admitting when you screwed up!!!! Let’s get these actors/actresses back to work. Let’s get the thousands of others back to work at these soap operas and stop the nonsense!!!! The ratings will only get worse for The Repulsion. The Chew is horrible too. I would not want to be affiliated with ABC right now.
