He didn’t want to leave…he explained that he was misinterpreted. What he DID say was he understood how his character’s death would be important for the upcoming storyline.

Yes I agree Conrad was awesome, his character
was unpredictable, conniving, sometimes the way
He pulled things off sordidly humorously
Entertaining, you never doubted his character. He
Played it well. Some characters come across weak
like they don’t believe their role. I find Margaux and
David, and Jack’s characters weak.

Very disappointed that Daniel died, all the great
Characters with great intensity are gone like
Conrad, and Daniel. The only ones left are
Victoria and Emily, Nolan. Need bring in more
Intense powerful before lose momentum.

I think the writers evolved the story with each season’s renewal. What started out as Amanda Clark’s revenge went on to include Aidan’s revenge for his father, then Emily’s revenge for Aidan’s death which was caused by Victoria avenging….what was his name….Francois?’s death….now Margaux avenging Daniel’s….and on and on and on….Perhaps in the end the only ones left will be Nolan and Margaux’s baby! Lol…the show still has me engrossed…just really unhappy with the decision to kill off Daniel. Loved the character all the way through and was interested in seeing him reach out to Emily to see if she… Read more »

I love the show and won’t give up as I think it’ll be ending next season, if not this season.

But I like Conrad better than stupid David Clark

General Hospital Alum Annie Wersching Dead at 45

In very sad news on Sunday, actress Annie Wersching, who starred in the series 24, Bosch and Timeless, and portrayed Amelia Joffe on General Hospital, passed away this morning from cancer.  Annie was only 45-years-0ld.

Deadline broke the news of Annie’s death.  In a statement, Wersching’s husband, actor Stephen Full, shared: “There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall. As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’ ”

Wersching’s first major role came as Amelia Joffe on General Hospital.  She played the role from May to September of 2007.  Amelia came to Port Charles to seek revenge on Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and wound up lovers with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Later, she went on to star as Renee Walker in Seasons 7 and 8 of 24.  She also appeared in The Vampire Diaries, Runaways, Extant, and The Rookie.  One of her last roles was in Star Trek: Picard which came two decades after she made her screen acting debut in an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Annie is survived by her husband and children children Freddie, 12; Ozzie, and Archie, 4.

Share your condolences and remembrances for Annie in the comment section.  But first, check out some scenes from her time on General Hospital below.

Michael B. Jordan Recalls His Acting Start as All My Children’s Reggie in SNL Opening Monologue

Last night, Michael B. Jordan hosted Saturday Night Live.  The Creed star, who is the director of the upcoming Creed III due out in March, took to the stage to deliver his opening monologue, and right off the top he mentioned his beginnings as All My Children’s Reggie.

Jordan portrayed Reggie from 2003-2006 on the ABC soap opera (his character was eventually adopted by Jack Montgomery).

When Michael hit the stage, he shared: “Yesterday, I had a crazy full-circle moment. We pre-shot some videos for the show and when I got to the studio I realized it was the exact same place where I shot one of my first acting roles on the soap opera All My Children.

He then tossed to a clip of his 16-year-old self in which Reggie says, “sometimes the animal in me gets kind of crazy” and then howls life a wolf at the end of the scene. Back to the SNL stage, Jordan said mockingly, “I’m pretty sure I hit puberty mid-howl.”

Jordan ended his monologue by looping it back to his early acting days on AMC, sharing: “I just want to say, I’m so grateful to be standing on this stage. Sometimes, I can take myself a little too seriously but tonight, I’m going to have fun, I’m just going to go for it. And maybe, just maybe let the inner animal get a little crazy.”
