He didn’t want to leave…he explained that he was misinterpreted. What he DID say was he understood how his character’s death would be important for the upcoming storyline.

Yes I agree Conrad was awesome, his character
was unpredictable, conniving, sometimes the way
He pulled things off sordidly humorously
Entertaining, you never doubted his character. He
Played it well. Some characters come across weak
like they don’t believe their role. I find Margaux and
David, and Jack’s characters weak.

Very disappointed that Daniel died, all the great
Characters with great intensity are gone like
Conrad, and Daniel. The only ones left are
Victoria and Emily, Nolan. Need bring in more
Intense powerful before lose momentum.

I think the writers evolved the story with each season’s renewal. What started out as Amanda Clark’s revenge went on to include Aidan’s revenge for his father, then Emily’s revenge for Aidan’s death which was caused by Victoria avenging….what was his name….Francois?’s death….now Margaux avenging Daniel’s….and on and on and on….Perhaps in the end the only ones left will be Nolan and Margaux’s baby! Lol…the show still has me engrossed…just really unhappy with the decision to kill off Daniel. Loved the character all the way through and was interested in seeing him reach out to Emily to see if she ever felt anything for him….which she did…Too sad. 🙁

Its soooo stupid. Conrad & now Daniel NOT HAPPY

I love the show and won’t give up as I think it’ll be ending next season, if not this season.

But I like Conrad better than stupid David Clark

‘Ambitions’ Canceled By OWN After One Season

After an excellent first season of drama and backstabbing, the soapy nighttime Ambitions has been canceled by OWN.

The cable outlet offered up this statement from OWN President, Tina Perry: “We’re thankful to Will Packer, Jamey Giddens and the entire cast and crew of Ambitions for their creativity and hard work on the show. Every week they delivered great drama, intrigue and a lot of fun storytelling.  We look forward to continue working with Will Packer and his talented team of collaborators in the future.”

The series which starred Robin Givens as Stephanie Lancaster Carlisle was hailed as a multigenerational family saga centered around classic soap character, Stephanie, who finds herself going head to head with some of the most powerful and deceitful players in the city of Atlanta and we learn she can play deceitful like nobody’s business … too!

Ambitions was produced by Will Packer Media in association with Lionsgate and Lionsgate-owned distributor Debmar-Mercury. Packer was executive producer. Arkadie was executive producer/showrunner. Writer Jamey Giddens and Will Packer Media’s Sheila Ducksworth also served as executive producers.

Givens took to Instagram and shared her disappointment on the cancellation. “mood 🙁 found out last week #Ambitions wouldn’t be returning for a second season ….”

Meanwhile, creator Jamey Giddens shared on his Instagram:  “So this happened… #Ambitions was such a joy to create. I am forever grateful to @willpowerpacker and @LionsgateTV for the incredible opportunity to tell a fun, decadent story showing that tales about black and brown people don’t have to be steeped in pathos & tragedy.”
