Annie warns JR that she isn’t going anywhere.  JR’s on the verge of confessing everything to Marissa in order to beat Annie to the punch but he’s stopped by Colby’s arrival.  Annie thinks she’s in the clear when she learns from Marissa that Adam left town with Brooke indefinitely.  Colby’s upset with JR for the trouble he’s caused but realizes he never set out to intentionally hurt their family.  David tells Greenlee that he loves her and covers his disappointment when she can’t say the same.  Liza finds David drinking alone in the park and quickly figures out what’s gotten him so upset.  David curses Ryan and later spies on him at the casino.  Amanda’s unnerved when she receives another message from her obsessed fan.  Ryan offers Madison some advice as she prepares for her first shift as a cocktail waitress at the casino.  Greenlee lays down that law to Madison, telling her she can’t work at the casino and still keep her job at Fusion.

Marissa’s speechless to learn Adam is divorcing Annie on grounds of infidelity when Liza arrives at the mansion to serve Annie with divorce papers.  Scott, however, jumps in to prevent Marissa from learning the truth by claiming Adam thought he was having an affair with Annie.  JR and Scott realize they’re going to be stuck with Annie for a while.  Amanda’s overjoyed when Jake gives her a new wedding ring to replace the one she lost but is later freaked out when the original is delivered to Fusion with a creepy note from Amanda Fan.  Colby and Damon continue to connect.  Liza’s not pleased when she witnesses Damon kissing Colby.  Jesse walks into the station to find Brot in a heated confrontation with a fellow cop who plastered Natalia’s nude pictures from her Fusion photo shoot all around the office.  Jesse’s furious with Natalia for posing “au natural” but Angie warns him he’d better ease up on his daughter.  Brot punches the cop who posted Natalia’s photos all over the station. Tad receives a text message presumably from Hillary asking to meet with him but when he arrives at her hotel room, he finds Paul Miller, Damon’s father, instead.  Tad tries to get through to Paul, who doesn’t take kindly to his advice.  After Tad takes him home to see Damon, Paul makes a disparaging remark when he finds Damon making out with Colby.  Annie warns JR that she’s not going anywhere and even implies she might try to go after securing the mansion for herself in the divorce.    Marissa starts to suspect she’s not getting the full story about Adam and Annie’s breakup.  JR worries that Marissa will end up being hurt by all the dysfunction in his family but she assures him their love is strong enough to get them through anything.  Annie spies on JR and Marissa making love.  Jake and Amanda tell Jesse about Amanda’s obsessed stalker and the three of them plan a sting operation to lure the person out at fan club meeting at Fusion.  Angie fears that David and Liza are up to something.  Jesse suspends Brot after he punches out a fellow officer.  Brot shuts down when Natalia tries to reach out to him.

Tad’s heartsick over Paul’s treatment of Damon.  Tad discovers that Colby and Damon have taken off when he goes back inside the house after finishing things with Paul.  Liza tears into Damon when she finds him and Colby together in the park and sees a couple of cans of beer Colby had taken from Tad’s that they didn’t even drink.  Damon overhears Liza telling Colby that Tad is his father.  Jack plays it cool when Erica insists they can’t pursue an intimate relationship.  David realizes that Madison lied to Greenlee about quitting her job at the casino and plans on using it to his advantage.  Ryan secretly comes to Madison’s rescue when he discovers she’s on the verge of being evicted for not paying her rent.  Amanda’s stalker is keeping a close eye on her. Amanda believes her stalker no longer poses a threat but Jake insists on having Natalia guard her.  Natalia is later seen unconscious in the closet as the stalker approaches Amanda.  Tad tells JR the truth about Damon.  JR admits he’s keeping a secret from Marissa that’s related to why Adam really left Annie.  Tad cautions JR that secrets have a way of coming out.  Damon angrily confronts Liza, who insists she’s telling the truth about Tad being his father.  Tad and Damon come face to face.  David digs for dirt on Madison and gets quite an earful while eavesdropping on her and Randi.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Matt Clark Has Amnesia Setting Story Turning Point for Roger Howarth

Published

on

By

The latest soap opera amnesiac is none other than The Young and the Restless supervillain, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

As revealed on today’s May 5 episode of the CBS daytime drama series, Matt is suffering from seeming brain trauma after being hit over the head by Sienna (Tamara Braun) during their struggle, after Matt set the explosion at the abandoned gas station outside of Las Vegas to kill the Newmans.

While killing the Newmans failed, now it seems that an isolated Matt can’t figure out who the hell he is. The telling moment came when Matt was shown at a diner in Vegas. He finds a Genoa City Athletic Club keycard in his pocket and asks the waitress if she knew were Genoa City is.

The waitress informs Matt it’s thousands of miles away. Stunned, Matt says to himself, “I gotta figure out what the hell happened to me, and who the hell I am.” The turn now makes sense as a way to keep Matt in the story and Daytime Emmy winner, Roger Howarth still on the show, plus it allows for him to build essentially a whole different life interfacing with other characters.

In fact, when Howarth returned to the soap back on April 1, he teased to Soap Opera Digest some changes were afoot without actually spelling it out. Roger explained, “There’s a shift coming up in the story that’s been a lot of fun. They’ve given me some new people to bounce off of and I really appreciate what Josh Griffith (executive producer and head writer) is doing. I hope the fans like it!”

So, are you ready for what could be a redemption story? A story where the people in Matt’s new life are fond of him and he likes them? A way he can restart his life without all the crimes and misery he has perpetrated on others from his past?

Eventually, Matt will remember he is the evil Matt Clark, and then what happens? Clearly, he would go back after the Newmans, just when they think the guy is dead long enough. After all, Sienna believes she killed Matt.

Share your thoughts on Matt Clark having amnesia on all-new episodes of The Young and the Restless, and if you are here from the story which keeps Roger Howarth on your screens for some time to come. Comment below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brennan’s Eyes Are Opened About Carly and Valentin, Josslyn Finds Herself Locked Up Like Anna

Published

on

By

In a pivotal episode of General Hospital, Monday, May 4 finally blew the lid off of Brennan/Carly/Valentin and showed off Josslyn’s super spy prowess, and Cassius dark side all in one fell swoop!

Here’s what went down: Brennan (Chris McKenna) went ballistic after catching Carly (Laura Wright) after hitting the sheets, only he didn’t know (yet) with whom. The Port Charles WSB Bureau Chief goes in on Carly wanting to know who is it that she is sleeping with.  After his angry demand, Carly tells Jack to “turn around.” Thus, revealing Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) as the other man, who is holding a gun pointed straight at Jack.

Initially, Jack thinks Valentin played Carly due to their vendetta, but au contraire! Jack gets an earful about how Carly flew to Steinmauer posing as his attorney. When Jack tried to understand why Carly would betray him in such a way, Carly spelled it out for him.

Next, Carly let Jack have it for his lies and duplicity about her daughter, Josslyn (Eden McCoy). She knows that Jack recruited Josslyn into the WSB, preying on her grief over Dex’s death to get her to murder Cyrus Renault. Carly adds, you tuned my daughter, “into a lying, murdering spy, like you!” In tears, Carly told Jack that Josslyn will never be the same, because of what he did to her.

SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY AND LIVING TO TELL ABOUT IT

Jack realized, Carly was the one behind getting Valentin’s transfer from Steinmauser. Now on the attack, Jack told Carly she will wind up in prison for aiding and abetting a fugitive. He tells her that Valentin will grab his daughter, Charlotte and disappear, and when that happens he won’t lift a finger to save her, in fact, (he throws in for good measure) that she might get lucky and thrown into a pit with Jason.

Valentin told Jack that if he didn’t help them, he will turn him over to Cullum, who he knows is a double agent and would like nothing better than to make Jack the fall guy for all of his own crimes. Jack apologized to Carly for lying to her, said he still loves her, but that he wonders how long it will be before Valentin betrays her too.

After the scenes aired, Chris McKenna took to X and shared, “And after we finished the last scene I ran over to Laura Wright and hugged her, and then pulled in James Patrick Stuart too. Thrilled to have that material with those legends. Hope you dig it.”

JOSSLYN LANDS IN A SLEEPER HOLD

In addition, Josslyn and Cassius (Ryan Paevey) had literally, a knock down drag out fight. First, after Cassius grabbed her arm as she was set to leave her apartment, he told her he knew she was WSB! Joss suggested that “Nathan” must be traumatized from years of being presumed dead. She grabs a candlestick and the two go at it complete with kicks, shoves, throws and all; leading to Cassius putting Joss in a version of the sleeper hold and making her pass out.

Later, Cassius calls for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but speaks to Pascal (Marc Forget), that there is an issue that needs to be dealt with. At the end of the episode, Josslyn wakes up in the same room that Anna was driven crazy in which must be somewhere at Wyndemere, Cassius is seen looking through the one-sided window and we fade to black.

So, what did you think of the Carly and Valentin reveal to Brennan? Did Carly come out the victor in her payback to Brennan? Then, who do you think will figure out Josslyn is kidnapped? Will it be Brennan? Will he help her or use it as leverage against Valentin and Carly? Share your theories in the comment section.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Remy to Dylan, ‘Since You Owe Me, I’m Here to Collect!’

Published

For those anticipating a Luna Nozawa returning back-from-the-dead to The Bold and the Beautiful were in for a surprise, when it turned out the person who made Dylan (Sydney Bullock) let out a blood curdling scream on Friday’s episode was revealed on Monday’s May 4 installment as none other than Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) ... Dylan’s cousin!

In the reveal, it turns out that Remy donned a black wig to be in disguise to sneak into Forrester Creations since he’s persona non grata for making and posting deep fakes of Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) when he was previously obsessed with her. “I’m not that guy anymore,” Remy claimed to Dylan.

As he also tried to explain, wearing the wig and using the voice alternating app were ways of his attempt to be careful and discreet. “Mysterious, right? Remy remarked.  He also added that the deep fakes of Electra was made out to be, “way worse than it actually was.”

Next viewers get their familial relationship back-story. Remy, grew up outside Dallas while Dylan grew up in the midwest Remy’s arrival at Forrester he says is a chance to reconnect with his cousin.

But Remy has an agenda, as he reminds his cousin that the “tips’ he gave to her helped her get the art-school job, which led to her becoming friends with Electra. In his opinion on the situation, all of that changed the trajectory of Dylan’s life.

And that’s not all, Remy says he knows all about Dylan’s stay at the beach and all the drama her being there caused for Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra’s relationship. Remy says he isn’t on her case about it.

Dylan finally asks him, what does he want? A ominous Remy says, “I did you a solid, and now I’m asking you to return the favor. There’s something I need from you, cuz, and since you owe me, I’m here to collect.”

So, what does Remy want? Something that will help him get into the good graces of the man he says he loves in Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone), or something else? Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Sydney Bullock spoke to TV Insider about the cousin connection between Dylan and Remy. “She’s so stressed, explains Bullock on her soap alter-ego. Sydney added, “She’s been on such good behavior, suppressing feelings for Will, suppressing any frustration she might have with Electra or R.J. or anyone. She’s just trying to stay in line and be so put together and overcorrect and go above and beyond, so with Remy coming into town, it’s like he’s loosening up the strings on her life again, and she’s trying to tighten up. So, I think she’s really anxious and has no idea what’s going to happen and whether it’s going to be a secret or not. She really doesn’t want to upset Electra but has no idea how to even go about this.”

Now let us know us, happy or not happy that the reveal was Remy and not Luna that freaked out Dylan? What do you think of the connection between Remy and Dylan? It looks like these two will end up in cahoots whether Dylan likes it or not. Comment below. But first check out, the scenes from today’s B&B between Remy and Dylan, followed by our recent conversations with Christian Weissmann and Harrison Cone from the BBTV app party on the Michael Fairman Channel.
