Jack surprises Erica when he appears on her doorstep unexpectedly.  Erica’s relieved at first when she comes to believe Jack’s visit is in response to the attack on Fusion but he quickly lets her know he’s concerned about her relationship with Ryan.  David taunts Ryan, leading him to believe that the attack on Fusion was directed at Ryan himself.  A hidden Greenlee listens as Ryan tells David that he’s come to accept Greenlee’s death and has moved on.  Tad, Amanda and Liza are concerned about Jake’s vendetta against David and the lengths to which he’ll go to get revenge.  David stuns Tad, Liza, Jake and Amanda when he announces he’s getting married on Valentine’s Day and invites them all to the wedding.  Greenlee’s a mix of emotions as she thinks about Ryan. Erica confides to Opal that she’s questioning her relationship with Ryan and has come to the conclusion that by being together, they’re both holding each other back from finding the person they’re truly meant to be with.  Erica later tells Ryan that she can’t go away with him as planned and breaks things off.  Marissa angrily confronts David after receiving his wedding invitation.  Annie flirts with Scott as she ponders what would happen if Adam were to terminate the merit trust he’s put into effect.  Colby remains determined to get Annie out of Adam’s life.  Adam embraces JR when he learns JR’s cancer has returned.  Greenlee reveals herself to Jack.  Jack can’t believe his eyes when Greenlee appears before him.  After explaining how David hid her away for a year, Greenlee threatens to disappear from Jack’s life again if he presses charges against David.  Greenlee demands that Jack not tell anyone, especially Ryan, that she’s alive.  Using her cell phone, Colby captures a video of Scott and Annie’s smoldering kiss.  Annie later destroys Colby’s phone and the gloves are definitely off between the two adversaries.  Erica and Ryan have a bittersweet parting with each agreeing they still want to keep their friendship alive.  Ryan opens up to Erica about his lingering feelings for Greenlee.  David pushes Ryan’s buttons to the point where Ryan hauls off and slugs him.  JR tells Adam he doesn’t want or need him in his life but Adam’s determined to help JR through his health crisis.

Greenlee doesn’t tell Jack about her wedding plans but he suspects she’s hiding something from him.  When Jack refuses to leave town, Greenlee fears her plans will fall apart.  David assures Greenlee that Ryan will be at the wedding.  Ryan tells Tad they need to uncover the identity of David’s mystery bride before the wedding.  Liza once again feels like the odd man out when Tad ends their date after getting a call from Krystal telling him that Kathy is sick.  Brot’s not happy as he watches Natalia flirt with the hacker who created the virus that destroyed Fusion’s software as he works to repair the damage to the system there. Ryan feels Greenlee’s presence on what would have been their one year anniversary. Everyone gathers at the Wildwind chapel for David’s wedding.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Michael at a Crossroads; What Did You Think of Christian LeBlanc’s 30th Anniversary Episode?

Monday’s episode of The Young and the Restless brought with it three-time Daytime Emmy winner Christian LeBlanc’s (Michael Baldwin) 30th anniversary show.

In the story, after winning a high-profile case, Michael meets up with his wife, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) at Society to celebrate the court victory, only he ponders if he should quit while he is ahead and go out on top with a great winning-streak or change course in his life and do something else. Michael is at crossroads which sets the tone for characters and loved ones to weigh-in on what they think he should do, give him some advice, and he even gets a job offer within the hour.

The episode was at its absolute best when it went to flashbacks of Michael’s story through the years as it touched upon his dynamic with other key members of his family and Genoa City.  It was there we were reminded, and at times, grabbed for the hankies, of some of the emotional moments of Michael’s past all played brilliantly by LeBlanc.

Y&R did dance around the controversial relationship between Michael and Christine (Lauralee Bell), but did touch upon it via a clip of Michael’s heinous vendetta against a younger Christine with him determined to break down a wall, literally, and attack her, and, as longtime viewers know, Michael wound up shot by Paul who saved Christine  The dialog brought up: how Michael was consumed with revenge, how he hit rock bottom, and that his prison time ended up being life-saving and life-changing, and how, in the end, Christine did help him reclaim his legal career, and that they were able to put the past behind them.

Next, Victor (Eric Braeden) shows up at the bar and winds up sitting with Lauren and Michael, and while Victor and Michael recall their often- contentious professional relationship in flashbacks, Victor offers Michael a job to work at Newman Media; leaving Michael to ponder the offer.

Then, Lauren called the Baldwin/Fisher clan to show up. So together, Gloria (Judith Chapman), Kevin (Greg Rikaart), and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) lend moral support to Michael during his decision process. It is there that some of the best flashbacks in the episode occur:  One, where Gloria wants the chance to be a mother to her boys, another, where Michael sits by Kevin’s hospital bedside lamenting on how he could have been a better brother and that he left him behind, and then another where Kevin tells Michael how important he is to him and that they repaired their relationship.

After the trio leave, it’s just Lauren and Michael, where the two recall moments in their relationship and in the end, Michael knows what he wants to do – spend more time with Lauren.

Watch the final moments of Christian’s anniversary episode below, followed by our most recent interview with LeBlanc and his dear friend and Y&R co-star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis).

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: A Shocked Brooke Exclaims: “Oh, My God! I Was Drinking Last Night!”

Score one for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown)! On Monday’s continuance of the New Year’s episode of CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful, a hungover Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) wakes up next to Deacon (Sean Kanan) in her bed, just as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is finally able to make it home to his wife.

Horrified that she is next to Deacon and with a pounding headache, Brooke jumps up and realizes she had been drinking… booze! The stunning realization makes her flash back to the night before where she now recalls doing vodka shots, horsing around with Deacon and kissing him.

Deacon assures her that he was gentleman and nothing happened between them. As she hears Ridge pull up to the house, and now downstairs with Deacon, she begs him to leave ASAP and to never come back.  He slips out the back.   Ridge comes in to the house thrilled to see Brooke who is literally coming apart at the seams.

Next, Deacon goes to the infamous bar where he met up with Sheila in the first place.  He tries some non-alcoholic champagne. Sheila is there, but lurks. She then goes to the bar to pry about what happened on New Year’s Eve with Brooke.  Deacon is not giving up any intel to her.  However, Sheila figures out Brooke’s life must have imploded, if Deacon was testing the champagne.  In addition, via a flashback, viewers saw just how Sheila switched the labels on the champagne bottles to set this whole plot against Brooke in motion. Very clever, Sheila!

Back at the house. Ridge knows something is off with Brooke.  While he holds her, she cries.  When Ridge goes upstairs, Brooke begins to sob as she heads back to where all the alcohol is while staring at the Vodka, wondering what triggered her to drink again.  It was a great performance by Katherine Kelly Lang.

Now the question is, will Brooke just keep drinking? Will she get into AA stat? Share your thoughts on the episode and what you think will happen next in the comment section below. But first, check out the final moments of Monday’s B&B.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Tracy Tells Laura that Luke is “Gone”. What Will Her Next Sentence Be?

Is Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) literally dead-dead? That’s the question on viewers minds after the shocking ending of Monday’s first episode of the new year of General Hospital.

In the key scene at the end of Monday’s show, Tracy, played by Jane Elliot, makes a surprise visit to Laura’s (Genie Francis) just as the clock is about to strike midnight on New Year’s Eve in Port Charles.

When Laura, who is with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), opens the front door, she sees Tracy standing there.  An emotional Tracy tells Laura,”It’s Luke. He’s gone.”  Laura is gut-punched.  We fade to black.  The audience is stunned that, first, GH kept under wraps the return of Elliot, but second, that they truly would kill off the iconic character of Luke Spencer.

Since the airing of the episode, fans and viewers of the ABC soap, have been trying to figure out if this is a fake out, and Tracy will continue her explanation on tomorrow’s episode and reveal that, perhaps, Luke has disappeared?

Geary had previously made it clear he would not return to the GH.  So, could this be a story-driven point and the show is really saying buh-bye to Luke? Is this tied to what Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wants to get out of the mind of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), after Victor’s rather threatening and revealing conversation with Peter (Wes Ramsey), who has unfortunately awakened from his coma?  Stay tuned!

Now, weigh-in: what do you think Tracy’s next sentence will be to Laura? What do you think has happened to Luke? Share your theories via the comment section below.
