The procedure of harvesting Annie’s bone marrow comes to a sudden halt when she suffers a full blown attack while imagining that Adam has left her for Brooke.  Angie contacts Adam, who’s able to calm Annie and the procedure gets underway again.  Brooke realizes why Adam’s so grateful to Annie when she tracks him down at the hospital and sees that Annie is JR’s donor.  Erica finds an angry David waiting for her at her penthouse.  Disappointed that Erica sold him out, David handcuffs her to a chair just as she had done to him.  Greenlee unleashes her wrath on Ryan and later Jake and Jesse as she accuses them of railroading David.  Greenlee goes to Erica’s penthouse after receiving a cryptic call from David, who’s already gone by the time she arrives.  Ryan reveals to Jake that he placed a cell phone with a tracking device in Greenlee’s purse.

Greenlee spars with Erica while subtly looking around the room for the clue David mentioned in his phone call.  Without alerting Erica, Greenlee finds David’s note and later meets up with him at the hospital chapel.  Despite Greenlee’s protests, David insists he has to go on the run alone just as they discover the tracking device Ryan planted in Greenlee’s handbag.  David promises Greenlee he’ll return to her and they share an embrace.  Greenlee outsmarts Ryan and Erica by pretending to be at the hospital to read Jake the riot act in order to cover the fact she had met up with David there.  Colby, Marissa, Tad and Adam all have fantasies about a future with a healthy JR.  JR goes into duress while undergoing the bone marrow infusion.  Angie’s uncertain of whether or not she wants to remain Chief of Staff at the hospital .Angie and the rest of the medical team springs into action to try and save JR.  Angie has the unfortunate task of informing JR’s family that now would be the time to say their goodbyes to him.  JR reunites with Dixie in heaven and watches as his family pours out the love they feel as they plead with him to come back to them.  Tad feels Dixie’s presence stronger than ever as he prays for JR to pull through.  From heaven, JR sees Adam with AJ at his bedside and realizes what he has to do.  Annie accuses Brooke of trying to steal Adam from her.  Brooke sees just how paranoid Annie is as she tries to talk her down and get her focus on what’s important.  Annie’s calm façade quickly fades once Brooke leaves the room and she clearly wants her out of the picture Brooke expresses her concern for Adam to Angie.  At Brooke’s urging, an exhausted Adam finally leaves the hospital and goes home with Annie.  Annie’s miffed when Adam doesn’t give her the attention she craves.  Jack turns Greenlee down when she asks him to represent David.  After meeting up with David at Leo’s grave, Greenlee promises to do whatever she can to help him.  David spies on Adam and Annie while hiding out in the tunnels at the mansion.  Ryan offers to make a deal with Greenlee.  Tad has a very real dream about Dixie.  Liza makes a surprising discovery about Damon’s mother .Adam becomes upset when Annie admits she asked Brooke to move back to the Valley Inn and demands Annie invite Brooke to return to the mansion.  JR’s asks Brooke to protect Adam from Annie.  David spies on Annie and Adam from inside the tunnels.  David emerges from the tunnels when he witnesses Adam having chest pains after Annie’s left the room.  Greenlee tries to convince Ryan that David has left Pine Valley.  Tad volunteers to supervise Damon and take responsibility for him after the judge sentences him to community service and probation.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brennan’s Eyes Are Opened About Carly and Valentin, Josslyn Finds Herself Locked Up Like Anna

Published

In a pivotal episode of General Hospital, Monday, May 4 finally blew the lid off of Brennan/Carly/Valentin and showed off Josslyn’s super spy prowess, and Cassius dark side all in one fell swoop!

Here’s what went down: Brennan (Chris McKenna) went ballistic after catching Carly (Laura Wright) after hitting the sheets, only he didn’t know (yet) with whom. The Port Charles WSB Bureau Chief goes in on Carly wanting to know who is it that she is sleeping with.  After his angry demand, Carly tells Jack to “turn around.” Thus, revealing Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) as the other man, who is holding a gun pointed straight at Jack.

Initially, Jack thinks Valentin played Carly due to their vendetta, but au contraire! Jack gets an earful about how Carly flew to Steinmauer posing as his attorney. When Jack tried to understand why Carly would betray him in such a way, Carly spelled it out for him.

Next, Carly let Jack have it for his lies and duplicity about her daughter, Josslyn (Eden McCoy). She knows that Jack recruited Josslyn into the WSB, preying on her grief over Dex’s death to get her to murder Cyrus Renault. Carly adds, you tuned my daughter, “into a lying, murdering spy, like you!” In tears, Carly told Jack that Josslyn will never be the same, because of what he did to her.

SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY AND LIVING TO TELL ABOUT IT

Jack realized, Carly was the one behind getting Valentin’s transfer from Steinmauser. Now on the attack, Jack told Carly she will wind up in prison for aiding and abetting a fugitive. He tells her that Valentin will grab his daughter, Charlotte and disappear, and when that happens he won’t lift a finger to save her, in fact, (he throws in for good measure) that she might get lucky and thrown into a pit with Jason.

Valentin told Jack that if he didn’t help them, he will turn him over to Cullum, who he knows is a double agent and would like nothing better than to make Jack the fall guy for all of his own crimes. Jack apologized to Carly for lying to her, said he still loves her, but that he wonders how long it will be before Valentin betrays her too.

After the scenes aired, Chris McKenna took to X and shared, “And after we finished the last scene I ran over to Laura Wright and hugged her, and then pulled in James Patrick Stuart too. Thrilled to have that material with those legends. Hope you dig it.”

JOSSLYN LANDS IN A SLEEPER HOLD

In addition, Josslyn and Cassius (Ryan Paevey) had literally, a knock down drag out fight. First, after Cassius grabbed her arm as she was set to leave her apartment, he told her he knew she was WSB! Joss suggested that “Nathan” must be traumatized from years of being presumed dead. She grabs a candlestick and the two go at it complete with kicks, shoves, throws and all; leading to Cassius putting Joss in a version of the sleeper hold and making her pass out.

Later, Cassius calls for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but speaks to Pascal (Marc Forget), that there is an issue that needs to be dealt with. At the end of the episode, Josslyn wakes up in the same room that Anna was driven crazy in which must be somewhere at Wyndemere, Cassius is seen looking through the one-sided window and we fade to black.

So, what did you think of the Carly and Valentin reveal to Brennan? Did Carly come out the victor in her payback to Brennan? Then, who do you think will figure out Josslyn is kidnapped? Will it be Brennan? Will he help her or use it as leverage against Valentin and Carly? Share your theories in the comment section.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Remy to Dylan, ‘Since You Owe Me, I’m Here to Collect!’

For those anticipating a Luna Nozawa returning back-from-the-dead to The Bold and the Beautiful were in for a surprise, when it turned out the person who made Dylan (Sydney Bullock) let out a blood curdling scream on Friday’s episode was revealed on Monday’s May 4 installment as none other than Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) ... Dylan’s cousin!

In the reveal, it turns out that Remy donned a black wig to be in disguise to sneak into Forrester Creations since he’s persona non grata for making and posting deep fakes of Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) when he was previously obsessed with her. “I’m not that guy anymore,” Remy claimed to Dylan.

As he also tried to explain, wearing the wig and using the voice alternating app were ways of his attempt to be careful and discreet. “Mysterious, right? Remy remarked.  He also added that the deep fakes of Electra was made out to be, “way worse than it actually was.”

Next viewers get their familial relationship back-story. Remy, grew up outside Dallas while Dylan grew up in the midwest Remy’s arrival at Forrester he says is a chance to reconnect with his cousin.

But Remy has an agenda, as he reminds his cousin that the “tips’ he gave to her helped her get the art-school job, which led to her becoming friends with Electra. In his opinion on the situation, all of that changed the trajectory of Dylan’s life.

And that’s not all, Remy says he knows all about Dylan’s stay at the beach and all the drama her being there caused for Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra’s relationship. Remy says he isn’t on her case about it.

Dylan finally asks him, what does he want? A ominous Remy says, “I did you a solid, and now I’m asking you to return the favor. There’s something I need from you, cuz, and since you owe me, I’m here to collect.”

So, what does Remy want? Something that will help him get into the good graces of the man he says he loves in Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone), or something else? Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Sydney Bullock spoke to TV Insider about the cousin connection between Dylan and Remy. “She’s so stressed, explains Bullock on her soap alter-ego. Sydney added, “She’s been on such good behavior, suppressing feelings for Will, suppressing any frustration she might have with Electra or R.J. or anyone. She’s just trying to stay in line and be so put together and overcorrect and go above and beyond, so with Remy coming into town, it’s like he’s loosening up the strings on her life again, and she’s trying to tighten up. So, I think she’s really anxious and has no idea what’s going to happen and whether it’s going to be a secret or not. She really doesn’t want to upset Electra but has no idea how to even go about this.”

Now let us know us, happy or not happy that the reveal was Remy and not Luna that freaked out Dylan? What do you think of the connection between Remy and Dylan? It looks like these two will end up in cahoots whether Dylan likes it or not. Comment below. But first check out, the scenes from today’s B&B between Remy and Dylan, followed by our recent conversations with Christian Weissmann and Harrison Cone from the BBTV app party on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Y&R’s Joshua Morrow Delivers the ‘Power Performance of the Week’: His Co-Stars Couldn’t Agree More (Exclusive)

Published

By

On soap operas, you know a scene is good and a performance is great, when you go back and watch it over and over again, and have the same feels you had watching it the first time. Such is the case of Joshua Morrow’s work in Nick Newman’s heartbreaking confession to his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on the May 1 episode of The Young and the Restless.

In it, with his brother, Adam (Mark Grossman) at his side, the two men fill Victor in what transpired in Las Vegas with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Now, without having a way to hide the truth from his father, Nick copped to being addicted to painkillers and taking fentanyl, which all began after he broke his leg, and was hospitalized for it. Once out, he explains he tried to deal with the pain, but it was too much and he stumbled upon the baggie of fentanyl pills he had put in his jacket when Matt was trying to get Noah (Lucas Adams) to take them in Los Angeles. From there, Nick went on a downward spiral he hasn’t been able to get himself out of.

What really pulled at the heartstrings was Morrow’s ability to tap into the shame Nick feels at having to admit his problem to the mighty Victor Newman. But what the scene also showed was that father and sons stick together in the most challenging of times.

Courtesy/CBS

Nick sadly told Victor, “I was desperate. I couldn’t get anymore prescription meds, so I took the fentanyl  I’m deeply ashamed that I was so weak, but all I can do is stand here and tell you the truth that I’m going to make this right and I’ll get better.” In the climatic and emotional ending of the scene, Nick in tears admits his shame to his dad, who comes in to give him hug. Nick says, “I’m so sorry. I know that this is the last thing you or this family needs.”

Morrow also turned in believable performances earlier in the week, when Nick fought as hard as he could not to take another pill, but while driving with his brother, Adam in the passenger seat, he was having withdrawals, so Adam told him to do what he needed to do. Nick popped, what he believed was a fentanyl pill. However, Matt laced the drugs and viewers watched as Nick wound up having a major reaction to the pill writhing on th floor, as he and Adam saved Sharon (Sharon Case) and Noah in the abandoned gas station Matt had taken them to.

Y&R CASTMATES AND REAL LIFE SON SING JOSHUA’S PRAISES

Joshua’s The Young and the Restless co-stars jumped into the Michael Fairman TV Instagram post on Friday, May 1 also hailing praise: Lucas Adams (Noah) shared, “Pop is absolutely amazing in this storyline. A masterclass getting to watch him work.”

Crew Morrow, Joshua’s real-life son, who plays Will Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful, wrote, “Incredible” on hid dad’s performances. Lauralee Bell (Christine, Y&R) simply said, “Yes” with two applause emojis. In addition, many fans took to the thread. One viewer wrote: “And the Emmy goes to … Joshua Morrow.”

HONORABLE MENTION

We also want to note that the week of April 27-May 1 bring a special shout-out and honorable mention to Rachel Boyd as Sophia Choi on Days of our Lives, as the deeply disturbed teen who fakes her suicide, only to end up being murdered instead. If these were Boyd’s final scenes filled with all the heartbreak, delusion and revenge, all played into one, Boyd went out on a high note.

As for Joshua Morrow, watching Nick, the hero of the Newman family, struggle and fall from grace, while being able to admit his issue with addiction and all that has come with it, has once again shown what we have said for years. Whether you like, or don’t like the stories you see on-screen on Y&R, Joshua is the continued MVP of the show. You can always count on him to deliver, and in this story, he has like never before. That is why Michael Fairman TV names him our choice for the Power Performance of the Week.

So, do you agree with our pick of Joshua’s work as the Power Performance of the Week? Did you reach for the hankies during the scenes between Nick, Adam and Victor when Nick confessed to his drug problem to his father? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
