‘American Nightmare: Cody Rhodes’ Documentary Premiere Date and Trailer Revealed by Peacock
Cody Rhodes says he is going to finish the story. That was his adage when he came back to the WWE after a few years building up rival AEW. Now back and main-eventing WWE television shows and premium live events, Rhodes not only was going to finish the story, but to tell you his story, in his own way, in his own words, and as one of the executive producers of it, as well.
Peacock has revealed that American Nightmare: Cody Rhodes, the documentary from the WWE, will drop on the streamer on July 31st. The two-hour intimate look on Cody’s journey away from the WWE and his return to it are a major part of the drama. Heels and Arrow star, (and pro wrestling aficionado and Cody’s friend), Stephen Amell. serves as the narrator.
As wrestling fans know, Cody Rhodes grew up living in the shadow of his father, WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. In 2016, Cody risked it all by leaving WWE to make a name for himself, becoming the “American Nightmare.” When he came back to the WWE at WrestleMania 38 last year, he began to chase the dream of winning the WWE championship, the one title his father was never able to claim. This year at WrestleMania 39, Cody failed to win the Universal Championship from Roman Reigns, but might he finally win the big one next year at WrestleMania 40?
Through never-before-seen footage and unprecedented access, this Peacock Original illustrates the transformation of a man who is blazing a new trail in sports entertainment. Executive Producers also include: Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Chris Kaiser, Chris Chambers, and Ben Houser.
You can check out the first trailer for the documentary below.

However, while Dylan (Sydney Bullock) makes another play for Will, he is filled with regret of not coming forward and bracing Electra for Hope jumping ship to Logan, and their new jewelry line featuring the “Hope for the Future Diamond.” How long will Electra and Will remain apart?

You can check that conversation out below.
