Andrea Bogart talks about her exit from General Hospital!

As every soap fans who watches General Hospital knows by now the character of Abby Haver played by Andrea Bogart since October 2010 was killed off this week, leaving Abby’s on-screen love, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) grief-stricken.
The beautiful and sexy Bogart, spoke candidly with Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue on newsstands now about her thoughts on GH’s decision to get rid of Abby from the canvas.
Bogart stated, “As an actor you can tell when something’s going on. I felt a shift in the writing and I know soaps. You can feel when there’s a struggle about what to do with your character. I haven’t worked much in the last month or two. There’s been less and less and less screen time for Michael and Abby for a while now. So, on my last day, I went around and paid gratitude to everyone who was a part of my being there. I’ve never felt anything but love from the fans and everyone here. I know it was story-related and nothing I did (Laughs).
Honestly for Chad Duell (Michael), I just pray that something good comes for Michael because he’s gone through so much (laughs)! This business is a giant roller coaster and General Hospital was truly a gift for me.”
So how do you feel about Abby being killed-off? Who could you see in Michael’s future now? Let us know!

‘General Hospital’s’ Controversial Luke and Laura Rape Episode: Writer Sheri Anderson Reveals Behind the Scenes Decisions and Admits ‘I Was Wrong’ to Defend It (Exclusive)
It’s one of the most controversial storylines in soap opera history, when Luke (the late Anthony Geary) raped Laura (Genie Francis) back in an episode that aired in 1979. In the story, one fateful night while believing his latest assignment for the mob would get him killed, Luke drank heavily, and confessed his love to Laura. She had been working at the disco at the time and tried to comfort him.
Luke said, “I’m not going to die without holding you in my arms just one time. Dance with me.” As Herb Alpert’s “Rise,” played in the background, Laura tried to leave as she was getting fearful of Luke. The camera panned away as Luke forced himself on her and Laura screamed, “No!” The aftermath also became a huge problem for the series years later. GH tried to pass it off as a seduction, while viewer outcry, and as the world evolved over the decades called it then and now what it was, “rape.”
The script writer for that episode was prolific soap opera writer and three-time Emmy winner, Sheri Anderson. The popular scribe is best-known for her work on Days of Our Lives and also her tenure as its co-head writer, but she also spent a few years at General Hospital smack dab in the late 70s and early 80s, under then legendary executive producer, Gloria Monty.

During her visit last week to the Michael Fairman Channel, where Anderson opened up about a specific moments throughout her storied writing career, as well as the state of the soaps now in our culture, she recalled the events that transpired before and after that led to her scripting the infamous rape episode on GH.
ABC NETWORK EXEC DECIDES LUKE SHOULD RAPE LAURA
Sheri began, “What happened was Pat Falken Smith (then head writer, GH) came in from a meeting and she was stoned-faced, and we said, ‘What’s going on?’ She said Jackie Smith, who was head of the network, wants Luke to rape Laura and we were like, ‘What? We can’t do that!” She said that’s what we were going to so, because we were exploring ‘date rape’ at the time.”
“So, on General Hospital, or any show that I’ve been involved with, we would get as much research as we could on the subject, especially when I was writing,” explained Anderson. “I would always send the script to a therapist and say, ‘is this accurate? Is this emotionally correct?'”
Anderson shared from the writers viewpoint what the story was about at that time: “Luke was from the wrong side of the tracks. He was trying to prove himself to the mob and they said to prove it, you have to go kill a senator Mitch Williams. Luke couldn’t go through with it, which meant he was a dead man. He went back to the Campus Disco which he owned and Laura was there. She was waiting for her husband (Scotty Baldwin). So, when Laura was trying to comfort Luke, things started to get out of control.”
THE COINED “SEDUCTION”
“The script which I wrote was 110 pages, which was typical at the time. Gloria Monty, who was a brilliant executive producer and director who changed daytime, was the director of that episode,” explained Anderson on the writing for the soap back in the late 70s. “They probably cut 30 pages of material, because she was so intent on the rape and making it as brutal as she could. So, we were just going forward and thinking, ‘Oh, my God! That was really awful.'”
Over decades, the moment was called as aforementioned, “a seduction,” a “date rape,” and then as GH viewers recalled, it was in 1998 that Luke admitted to his son Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) that he actually raped his mother, Laura.

ANDERSON COULD NO LONGER DEFEND THE STORY POINT
It is not lost on Anderson, how GH at the time, tried to pass off the on-screen incident, “In retrospect, and I believe Michelle Val Jean (creator, head-writer, executive producer of Beyond the Gates) once said that it upset her, that we would say it was really a ‘seduction’ and all of those things, because it was not. It was rape, and (back then) I would try to, in a sense, defend it, and frankly, I was wrong,” revealed Sheri.
“I wrote the rape episode and I actually wrote the episode after it and we had Emily McLaughlin who played nurse Jessie Brewer who came to me later and said, ‘thank you.’ Because she said, ‘I wrote the aftermath of it so poignantly for her and Genie,’ recalled Sheri. “Then, we had Irene Kassorla, the real-life therapist come in, and on the show do group therapy sessions. So, it was really fascinating for me I thought that we were doing it extremely well, and I still think we did it extremely well. But, yes, it was rape, and it was wrong.”

GLORIA MONTY SWORE SHE WOULD NEVER MARRY LUKE AND LAURA
In an ironic twist, when Pat Falken Smith and Sheri left General Hospital to return to Days of Our Lives, suddenly Luke and Laura were getting married, after Gloria Monty swore she would never let them tie the knot. As soap fans know, the wedding remains the most-watched episode in soap opera in history with over 30 million people tuning-in on November 16 and 17 of 1981.
“People talk about that story thinking Luke raped Laura, and then they got married. No! Luke raped Laura, but it destroyed their lives with the secrets that they carried. Laura would not tell anybody that Luke was the one who raped her, and their lives were altered in so many ways. It took a long time to bring them back as a couple because they had such chemistry personally, so it was just the obvious way to go,” explained Anderson of the writers mindset at the time. “Gloria Monty said to us, ‘We’ll never marry them.’ Then, when as a writing team we left and went to Days of Our Lives, she married them two months later.”
You can catch our full informative chat with Sheri Anderson below.
So, what did you think about what really went on behind the scenes at General Hospital when the decision came down to have Luke rape Laura in the controversial scenes? Did you appreciate the insight provided by Sheri? Is it still one of the more troubling plot points in the storied history of Luke and Laura to you? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Promo: Rocco’s in a Panic as Britt’s Health Takes a Turn, Chase is Called to the Carpet
This week on General Hospital, who’s a fool, who’s a savior and who will avoid capture? That’s the questions that the latest video promo from the ABC daytime drama series offers up for episodes airing June 15-19.
First, after being taken to the PCPD, Tracy is fuming mad that Chase (Josh Swickard) once again believes in his ex-wife Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) word. This time, Willow claimed she was pushed into the water at the Quartermaine boathouse by Tracy (Jane Elliot). Now, racy tells Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Justine (Nazneen Contractor), “Willow Cain threw herself into the lake and this fool fell for it.” We already know, Justine has been side-eyeing Chase of how he repeatedly has taken the law into his own hands concerning his ex-wife. Will Chase EVER get a grip and realize Willow is a manipulative woman capable of heinous crimes?
Next, Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) comes loaded for bear to Carly’s (Laura Wright) along with two men from the WSB. He tells her that.“We have reason to believe that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is on the premises.” Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) is also there at the time and the two could not look more nervous or suspicious if they tried. Is Valentin already searching Wyndemere for Josslyn (Eden McCoy) at the time of Cullum’s unexpected arrival at Carly’s, or is he still hiding in her attic? Stay tuned.

WWE’s AJ Lee Opens Up How Nick Khan and Triple H Protected Her Mental Health During Recent Comeback, Husband CM Punk, and What’s Next
Light it up! On an all-new episode of General Hospital star, Maurice Benard’s (Sonny Corinthos) mental health series, State of Mind, he welcomed back to the show, AJ Lee (aka AJ Mendez) for update on her life in and out of the pro wrestling ring.
Before the Sunday, June 14 episode dropped, AJ had previously appeared on State of Mind, back in November of 2021, where she shared with the three-time Daytime Emmy winner her struggles with bipolar disorder, and one terrible situation back in 2014 where she contemplated a suicide attempt.
As WWE fans know, in September of 2025, Lee made a triumphant return to the wrestling ring after she stepped away 10 years ago. AJ is married to former WWE champion CM Punk (aka Phil Brooks), and both were a part of a major storyline against Seth Rollins and his real-life wife, Becky Lynch. This past April, Lynch defeated Lee to win back the women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42. Following that, Lee stepped away, for now, from the WWE. CM Punk, who lost the WWE World title to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, is expected back on WWE programming in the near future when ‘RAW’ rolls into his hometown of Chicago on July 6.

AJ LEE’S RECENT WWE COMEBACK WAS DONE UNDER WATCHFUL EYES
AJ, who has been an open book about her mental health struggles and who has been advocate for those also struggling, shared how the behind the scenes of the pro wrestling business has changed in the last ten years, and how this time, there were built in protections in-place if she were to run into any mental health issues.
“My first run was maybe ten years, then I took ten years off,” explained Lee to Benard. “To be fair, I am very lucky. I never had to have a surgery for wrestling-related injuries. Most people don’t make it out unscathed like that. Knock on wood. I’ve had suggested surgeries, but I haven’t done that for my neck. I’ve like strained stuff and had minor tears, here and there, but a lot of the culture when I was younger was you just keep going because it’s going to keep going without you. So, if you’re injured, you just kind of fake it and say you’re fine and keep going.”
However, fast-forward to 2025 and during AJ’s comeback, she felt taken care of. “It’s very much not like that now, which I was really happy to see. It’s very much about, ‘let’s have a conversation about how you’re feeling and you can get time off, and you can spend more time with your family.’ I will say to their credit, my biggest concern coming back was my mental health. WWE President Nick Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, were the bosses that kind of brought me (back) in. They were so open about saying, ‘We will protect your mental health and if we don’t, we’re not doing our job. That’s got to be our number one priority.’ It was never like that 10 years ago. I felt like I had to hide this that part of me 10 years ago. So, for my bosses to support me in that way (meant everything).”

AJ CALLS HER BIPOLAR DISORDER BY THE NAME “JEAN”
As it turns out, AJ has a very intriguing way to deal with manic episodes when she feels them coming on, as she explained to Maurice, “I made friends with my bipolar disorder and the darker stuff. I named it and I call her ‘Jean,’ and when she’s acting up, I’m like ‘Jean, you’re not being cool.” I think the hardest thing, especially this year has been trying to cope with the big feelings and how to high stay balanced, I had a big fear coming back to the spotlight and wrestling again. Ten years ago, I was at my lowest when it seemed like I was on the top of the world as a champion. So, taking 10 years and really taking care of myself and feeling the healthiest I’ve ever felt, then being like, ‘okay, now go back into wrestling.’ I was really scared about what that (type of) pressure was going to do. I felt so proud of myself for having the tools now. If I wake up anxious, or I am anxious behind the scenes and about to go out through the curtain in wrestling, now I know how to work with it.”

AJ HAS HIGH PRAISE FOR HUSBAND CM PUNK WHO’S IN THE BEST SHAPE OF HIS LIFE
Benard brought up the love of AJ’s life, WWE superstar CM Punk. She explained how continually impressed by him she is, and its important to be a supportive spouse. “He’s in the best shape of his life right now and was just champion for most of the year. I am his wife, so I am a little like biased, but objectively, he had one of the greatest WrestleMania matches of all time (against Roman Reigns).I’m so impressed with how he’s able to push himself and just be the best athlete he can be. He reaches for the moon every time, but it’s amazing. He’s such a good wrestler and I know he can do anything he sets his mind too.”
MORE PROJECTS IN THE WORKS
Coming up, while you may not see her on weekly editions of Monday Night Raw, Lee clarified her immediate future, “I spent the last eight months on Monday Night Raw on Netflix. I am going to be doing WWE Unreal the documentary series also for Netflix,. I’m still writing and producing. I have a production company called Scrappy Heart Productions, and our goal is make underdogs the stars of their own stories. Right now, we are producing our first feature film and the short film version of it. We have a bunch of other projects in the works that we love and we’re so passionate about including comic books. We’re working hard on that one. So, it’s all different parts of the same muscle (for me). It’s all about telling and creating stories.”
You can watch AJ’s chat with Maurice Benard on State of Mind below.
Now, let us know, do you miss AJ after her 8 month comeback in the WWE? What did you think about what she shared on how the WWE higher-ups protected her mental health as best as possible? Are you a fan of CM Punk and AJ as a duo? Does AJ’s journey and story compel you to also check and look after your own mental health? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

I feel the waterworks coming on this show. With Abby dead, Robin ill and Sam recovering, the halls of General Hospital will be decked with used tissues this year.
Hate that GH killed Abby I loved her and Michael together.
I’m afraid that Michael will know become totaly involved this Sonny’s organization. He and Sam can now relate to each other, and will not feel so alone & isolated (that is a positive for both); however, Michael’s anger might get the best of him if he keeps blaming himself for Abbey’s death.
I liked the Abby/Michael pairing. Seems like a waste to kill her off. I know that there is too much talent floating around at GH for them to not be able to come up with more story ideas than killing off Abby. But GH sure has been going through a lot of new people lately.
i absolutely HATE that abby was killed off. i dont see anybody in michael’s future.
Michael gave an awesome performance when he saw Abby dead. The actor was awesome. Puhlez let this character grow & change and become a better human!!
Good luck to Andrea!!! I seen her on some primetime shows and she is very good.
Gosh! I didn’t see that one coming.
Whatever we didn’t know Abby’s upbringing, was cleared up in no uncertain terms with the phone call to her mother that Michael made.
It was a sad commentary on Abby’s life of neglect by her mother and the desertion she suffered at the hands of her father. That call was quite succinct in filling in all the gaping holes for any questions we the viewers might have had about her childhood.
I will miss Abby. Not knowing before last week the relationship or lack thereof that she had with her mother, I have always seen her character as a great example of a young woman coming from what I figured must have been an impossible situation and one who really gathered up her life-lemons and turned them into something positive and productive.
I wish Andrea all the best, she is so gracious and a wonderful actress. Her character and pairing with Michael is one of my favorites and I feel as devastated as Michael. I hope with the new head writer coming to GH, that they will find a way to bring Abby back — her death could’ve been orchestrated by Franco or Anthony Zacchara or even Helena if she remembers that Michael is a Spencer and wants to start a new war. Michael’s been through so many ups and downs over the past few years, that to lose his best friend and woman he loves is going to leave him spiraling.
With her death please don’t tell me they are putting Michael in between Jason and Sam. I heard there was going to be a 3rd party come between them and it is not Liz. Big mistake if they do this. What little I have watched I felt Abby was leaving also. But was she ever a contract player?
Hello???? 3rd party….FRANCO! He raped Sam and Sam will probably be pregnant…
It sucks that GH had to kill her off. They could have done so much with her character and Mabby but they choose not to. Hopefully a change will come with the new writers.
I never thought that the relationship between Abby and Michael should have happened in the first place. It just wasn’t realistic for me…I can see Michael giving in and going away to college, earning a Business degree and coming back in a year or two and taking Sonny’s business over and running it in a more civilized manner…if THAT kind of business can be civilized. They are fashioning Michael’s character too much after Sonny’s…it needs to stop…I can see Morgan coming back and his and Michael’s relationship being too much like Rick and Sonny’s…
I’m sure Andrea Bogart is a nice person, and I wish her the best, but I couldn’t stand the character of Abby, and her annoying, whiny voice. So I’m glad they killed her off.
Her and Siobhan were two of the new characters that GH tried to shove down our throats this year, and I didn’t connect with either one of them. And I think a lot of viewers felt the same way, judging from the people I talk to. I’m glad GH recognized that and decided to move on.
Plus, this hopefully means more air time for the characters that we actually have something emotionally invested in.
I never cared for Abby but the actress is great. I think she was a pointless character. The show needs legacy characters that are connected to the canvas and related to the core families.
I really liked Abby, although I was hoping she would move on from Michael and maybe be paired with another GH character at some point. I was even hoping her “death” was part of the Franco mind games and she wouldn’t really be dead. I am going to miss her. She was a really good actress and I LOVED her voice, by the way! I wish her all the best.
I’m sure Andrea Bogart is a good person, but I nerver connected with her character and I just wasn’t invested in Abby emotionally like with other characters. I always thought Abby was a pointless character who should have been gone along time ago but I do wish AB much success in her career.
I’m sad they killed of Abby, it was depressing, no more killing off people, this show needs to be more fun/happy
I was shock to hear she died, but I guess that’s just the soaps for you! I liked Abby.
GH’s loss.
I think the new writers had already in place where they will be going with some of the characters. So, they have already kind of showed us who will be gone. I would suggest that police woman who can’t decide which way to wear her hair, should be gone. I’m not liking the Ethan story with the woman at Windermere floating around. I don’t care about that story. The writers should do a lot of trimming of people. Too bad it had to be Abby. It will be interesting what happens now that Sam has told Michael about the rape. Personally, I would like the Franco story to be over.
GH is so depressing and killing off abby was absolutely pointless. I love the character and there was so much story to tell with her. If they didn’t want to write for mabby anymore they could’ve paired her someone else. Andrea bogart is so talented and beauitful and General hospital was so lucky to have her. They always get rid of the good ones. There are so many other useless characters that they could’ve gotten rid of instead of abby. I hope the new writers bring her back!
Bring Abby back. They bring “dead” characters back all the time so it’s not unrealistic for soaps. I don’t even want to watch GH anymore. Abby grew to be a favorite of mine.
Really sad that GH pointlessly killed off a Abby, and the Mabby couple whom have countless of fans, the vocal and nonvocal. Was this the really the best creative idea that the PTB could come up with?? Abby could’ve been paired with someone else as well. Andrea couldn’t have been costing GH big money and fans, and she was hardly even on anymore during the big ratings dive. Just another, again, unwise decision by GH for thinking all the new people they showcase now are so much more important than Abby, Mabby, Andrea Bogart and countless of fans.
I thought more than enough characters many fans like were needlessly or unceremoniously let go of. I’m hoping the new people in charge can be counted to do better creatively and bring back Abby. The character was a highlight and a bright light for me and others when tuning to GH. Those attributes definitely came through because of Abby’s portrayer.

Lisa i agree and to answer you question, Andrea wasn’t a contract player so she only got paid when she was on the air, so i doubt it was about costing money, sounds more like a creative decision by the now fired Jill phelps or the demoted Garin Wolf.
Thank you, Aria. 🙂 I knew Andrea wasn’t on contract but I wasn’t sure how things worked for non contract players. So that means she wasn’t costing them much money and she obviously wasn’t costing them fans. She’s gotten more fans! It’s really a terrible “creative” decision to get rid of her. So uncreative. If it was Phelps and Garin’s decision, I’m more than happy they’re gone now. I hope the new guys care more about fans and bring Abby back.
big mistake killing her off. they lost a good and new refreshing story line. whats up with those writers? she will be missed.
I totally agree
please new writers bring back Lucky,Nicholas & Jax get rid of that new cop get rid of the Zacharras & PLEASE transfer John McBain to Port Charles. Maybe then GHs ratings will go up and the stories would be watchable again
I like auotb’s idea of transfering John McBain to Port Charles! I also share bringing Nicholas and Jax back. I would love to have them find a way to keep JJ. I will miss the Michael & Abby relationship I wish Andrea the best! I still hope they don’t kill Robin off… rather send her to a clinic that is doing experimental treatments in some far off place. I love GH and want it to succeed and stay on for years.
heidi i agree with you on everything.
I love Abby and Michael together. They are the main reason I watch the show. Now Michael will be miserable and end up joining the mob. I don’t like this story line at all. Bring back Andrea.
🙁 GH continues to be so disappointing! I love Abby and andrea bogart. The character and mabby had so much potential. The writers are uncreative idiots. I hope they find a way to bring her back
Well let’s hope that ron carvolti and frank valenti can do a better job!
I agree. Bring her back, please. she was a fresh young actress that gave the show engery. now Carley is the same , all the time. she needs to live her life & leave those men alone. please bring Abby back.
isn’t it kind of funny that a show thats was run by a women (jill Phelps) love killing off women(lisa, abby) and or raping them( sam ?) I pray they don’t do this to Robin, it would be just to hard to take, and unnecessary. I prefer if Robin just disappears.
Absolutely sickening that GH would kill off Abbey, she and Michael were sweet together. Whenever someone is finally happy on this show, why do you have to ruin it? Abbey and Michael were so cute and suppoertive of each other. I hate that you would kill her off. Michael has had enogh crap.
What a disappointment GH is becoming, I have watched since before Luke and Laura and to kill off Abby just is stupid!!!! What are they thinking, it was a great story how she got out of stripping and now killed off…… Ugh….
Well it would be nice if they would give micheal and her fresh original story i’ve said it once i’ll say it again the mobster stuff is like beating a dead horse. While it was a good story in it’s conception about the rape of micheal in prison once again it just fizzled out they could have done some really good story with it but instead they have micheal follow in the steps of dear mob daddy sonny.. I think that it was Jill Farren Phelps that wanted the show to focus on the mob but i think it took away from other good characters. It would be a shame for ABC to get rid of all of it’s soaps but with General hospital it won’t be a suprise. I mean people want different stories to get into and well The mob is old to me and alot of other people.
It’s too bad. Abby and Michael were good together.
I wonder if they’re going to link her death to Franco.
I am very upset with the new writers. Abby was good for the show. beautiful and a great actress. they could have taken the story line much further. especially with her new job and paralegal. She & MIcheal were good together. bring her back .please
Abby was good for Micheal, they were good together. What is wrong with the writers? GH needs new storylines and HAPPIER storylines.
Andrea Bogart is a loss for the show. She co-stars in our movie Life’s An Itch. I just want to says she is one of the finest actresses in the business. Her performance in our movie is second to none. We’re back to shooting in January and will wrap by the end of the month. The movie starring Andrea will be out in Spring.

Ron Carlivotti et.al. will not do a better job. He and the new regime will quickly sink the ship. He is a big part of the demise of OLTL. These executives do not have a “heart” for the soap opera genre; it really translates to dollars and cents for them. While that is a given business practice, in order for the medium to “work”, one has to really understand the core of soap opera storytelling. To kill “Abby” ?????????? this is beyond comprehension of the rational, sane mind. The depths and heights that “Mabby” could have gone are innumerable. I saw them growing together spiritually, financially, moving out of an apartment into a home. I mean really making a life together. Abby could have grown and spread her wings within the Port Charles community (so many options for her). It would not have been farfetched. I mean it is soap opera afterall.
ron carlivotti did the best writing for oltl, its the best soap on ,if anything he will make gh better than it is now. and I dont think he started writing for gh yet,or anything we are seeing at this time.I wish he was still writing for oltl,he is not the demise of oltl he was the best writer.abc killed the soaps ,they choose to put crap tv shows on and kill the soaps ,and katie couric will be the demise of gh not ron carlivotti.
I could not agree more. OLTL is the best show on tv period. Ron & Frank & everyone associated with that show did a great job. Every single day this show is GOOD. I laugh out loud, my eyes well with tears, it is such a good balance of serious & funny. Everyone is connected to Viki in some way & this show is just pure pleasure to watch & my heart breaks to think of losing it. I keep up with GH for old times sake but do not watch every day. It is pretty awful right now. And yes, Katie Couric will kill GH. It is just a matter of time before we hear the announcement. I mean her show starts in September. What will be her timeslot? And how much are they paying HER? Wouldn’t it be great if the Chew/Revolution (ugh) fail & ABC begs to get our soaps come back?
I think killing off Abby was a really dumb move she wasn”t on General Hospital that long. her & Michael just started their relashionship she never even told him she loved him. There was definately more time for a great storyline. I think it was cut way to short. I love Abbey she will be missed alot.
I definately didn’t see this coming & without any kind of warning! GH could have done this better. I liked Michael/Abby together. They/Abby deserved a better storyline! GH was dumb for doing this!!! 🙁 🙁
I loved watching Abby and Michael evolve as a couple and people. I was looking forward to Michael”s growth and healing with Abby. I love the realistic portrayals of young adults at GH. I have encouraged many teens to watch the show. Abby will be missed.
I think its a shame that gh got rid of Abby. Michael and Abby where my fav couple and they had tons of chemistry . I hope the new staff will have the imagination and the ability to use talented actors. They need to develop characters not just keep on bring in new people every month . I feel gh drop the ball on this one by letting such a talent go
I hate that they killed Abby off. Really liked the actress and the Michael and Abby relationship and where it could have developed into.
I never liked the Abby/Michael thing. By the way, I remember when Michael was born. He was 11 when he was shot and in a coma and woke up at age 17? I know, it’s a soap, but Michael doesn’t work for me either. Both good actors but boring on GH. Jason is #1!
I didnt see that coming killing off Abby(Andrea Bogart) I hate that they killed her off Michael and Abby were good together. Please bring her back now Michael is out of control Im not liking him write now. Trying to get back into the mob bussiness. You can still bring her back, it can be Franco sick games Michael and Abby are good together bring her back
I am so sad that they killed her off. I wish they wouldn’t have done that. There was a lot of different stories they could’ve done.
Abby (Andrea Bogart) played a great part and grounded Michael (Chad Duell). I hate to see her leave GH. They could’ve gone in a different direction.
It’s the soaps so maybe she is just hidding out to protect her from Franco, Bring Abby Back!!!
They were cute together, but come on. They HAVE to get Michael into the mob business! Sonny and Jason are getting older. The only mobster left would be Johnny, and then it just wouldn’t be General Hospital! Not that I agree with cute young men becoming mobsters lol, but that’s kind of the point of the whole show!
I love Michael and Abby even if they wanted to break them up they should have kept Andrea she was great and I loved her character. Miss Abby alot
I am disappointed that Abby was killed off. There is lots more that can be written about her charcter! She needs to be brought back, telling that the accident was staged! You can take it from there.
yea ,great ideal there penny, bring abby back ,
I loved Mabby! I was so stunned and saddened that the show killed off Abby. She was my favorite character on GH. I watched their relationship develop and turn into a great love story. Andrea Bogart and Chad Duell had such great chemistry together – they just heated up the screen! I was so upset over the show doing this and considered not watching GH, but I’ve decided to hang in a little longer to see what happens with Michael. I am seriously hoping the new writers will correct this horrible storyline mistake by bringing Abby back, whatever it takes. Maybe have her “death” be a set up by someone and she’s being held somewhere against her will. If GH is indeed ending soon, the end game should have Abby returning to PC so she and Michael can have their happy ending! Good luck and best wishes Andrea, can’t wait to see your movie “Life’s an Itch” this spring. You rock!!! 🙂
